Rare
as ultraviolet
yet when grace of snow incarnates winter trees
as sun spreads last lusty pink gasp
across Earth’s horizoned landscape,
for a moment,
just enough to gaze a second rapturous time,
all snow-covered life forms,
waiting
inviting just outside my kitchen window,
turn blushing pink
to wink goodbye
to this day,
this now remembered,
where nature flirts wearing fading pink lace kindness.
