Each morning,

my list of gratitudes and intentions grows

karmic roots

and graced branches

twigs

leaves,

seasonally, a flower,

pushing out pollinating seeds.

Each gratitude covers implicated tension,

just as each intention hides shy gratitude

for opportunity to sustain

integrity’s potential moment,

self-perpetuating regenerative definition,

evolving articulation.

 

Surprising appositioned humor

embraces oppositional pathologies.

Medicine, therapy, reversing power for

disease, disorder, dissonant decay trends,

more likely as ego perceives humor

eco-inclusively pointed at us,

our straggling relationships,

even with our former selves,

our dysfunctioning age and other untimely stressors,

avoiding ridiculive weapons

commodifying identity boundaries

held too myopically close,

justifying misuse of pathogens on aliens,

exploding reactive toxins.

 

Assign others responsibility for values

I willingly receive from my own practice,

Give others freedom, responsibility, integrity rights

I wish others would share with me.
