An old Greek word, ecclesia,
is often translated as church,
but could also be thought of as a civilization
acting civilly,
as a citizenry
acting as if responsible citizens
[not irresponsible children].
The noun side of Ecclesia
casts residents as consumers
of democratic and cooperative economic systems,
while the verb side
organizes residents as producers of sacred democracy
and economically compassionate relationships,
win+win communications,
fair market transactions,
financial and temporal investments
with each other
(and never against each other,
and not in spite of another).
We stretch EarthMother’s Original Intent
to believe that anthropocentric constitutions
derived from and for becoming a democratic citizenry
would not also have this consumer+producer
co-binary meaning
when speaking
and singing of ,
and dancing
and walking
and sitting
and listening with
Earth’s organic DNA cousins
and distant RNA relatives
Invoking humane rights and responsibilities
of integrity’s individual
and civil pleasures
co-empowering Ecclesial authorities.
A democracy’s citizen
is a consumer of each state’s cooperative ecopolitical networks
but this is not sufficient to grasp both sides
of pre- and post-revolutionary organic intent
when legislating of, by, and for us cooperatively acting organisms,
producing neurosystemic decisions and choices to restore peace,
upgrade healing deliberations
and bring active curiosity
and a sense of humor
to ecosystemic communion debates
Internally appositional, and sometimes contentious
more than curious to understand differences,
but never defiant
against our underlying healthy democracy project
Loyal bicameral producers of compassionate pleasure,
benign religion [not traumatizing religiosity]
available to have our minds picked
but not available for body predation,
or rabid competitions,
or emotional and irreligious assault.
Physical and verbal
and financial and anti-ecological violence
inflicting retributive terror
are not natural to our democratic ecclesia of citizenship,
acting as an organic body of sacred citizens,
engaging socially productive bodies
obviously made for sacred pleasure norms
and not so much for desecrating displeasure storms.
“A well regulated militia
being necessary to the security of the state,
the right of the people [ecclesia]
to keep and bear arms
shall not be infringed.”
In U.S. history,
this language, penned by James Madison,
was in the context of protecting and asserting State Rights
to preserve healthy democratic purpose
responsive to sacred mind’s wants
and organically felt meaning
to redeem embodied healthy and safety needs,
losses,
pains,
dispassions.
In earlier sign-language history,
this right of armed self-defense
roots back toward ancient cultures
of individual pantheistic limited rights
to respond to predators
intruding on personal/familial tribal space
with rapacious intent
to kill or maim,
to inflict pain,
sometimes sexual, sometimes not
To capture and directly enslave
or capture and sell othered organisms
not recognized
not redeemed
not esteemed as ecclesia,
so these immoral immigrants could be sold
and purchased as a cash crop
With way back neighbors captured
and stored
as a labor-producing edible,
to respond to nutritionally starving family needs,
but perhaps not first preference
for organic pleasure
and sacred peace-making.
Armaments, during these originating roots of natural rights
for ecclesial defense,
probably began with sticks and stones,
then knives and spears,
then boomerangs and bows with arrows.
All fascinating original compassionate intent history,
yet most, if not all, of this anthropocentric pain narrative
of local and state militias preserving armed rights
to protect against individual predators,
and organized royal caste preservationists,
acting in a radically aggressive and greedy way,
omits EarthMother’s original ecclesial intent
Mutual ecopolitical compassion
suggests MAGA’s legislative agenda
is anything less or more than hate-mongering,
disorganizing crimes against a strong healthy
natural-spiritual
body-mind right
of robustly pleasing and pleasured democratic citizens
to defend our compassionate selves
against those who would act against,
compete against
organic consumers of sacred process,
compassionate producers
of resiliently peaceful ecclesia
Compassionate political co-loyalists,
co-deliberators,
ecotherapeutic citizens of Earth,
allied with
cooperatively self-regulating gardens
aligned with
interdependent anthropocentric states,
and democratizing
re-connecting trust
re-ligioning polyamorous nations.
The Religious Right’s monotheistic agenda
is not religiously informed by the U.S. Bill of Rights,
including Original Intent
of the First and Second Amendment.
It has everything to do with growing anti-ecclesia,
anti-American
anti-social
anti-panentheistic pathologies,
rather than robust natural+spiritual rights
of compassion producing sacred bodies
producing and consuming
cooperative pleasure meaning,
rather than mutual threat
and systemic trauma intimidation.
If the Second Amendment had originally said:
A well-regulated slave market
being necessary to the security of the capitalist state,
the right of the people
[especially slave owners–and explicitly not including slaves themselves]
to keep and bear arms
should not be infringed
[except for non-ecclesia, wild indians and black/brown/red slaves].
Does this look and sound and smell
much closer to the straight white King’s legislative agenda
of self-preserving supremacy
and support for uncontrolled ballistics profiteering,
than the historical articulation
penned by James Madison?
We do infringe the rights of individual citizens
to fire ballistics at each other,
and do not infringe uncivil rights
to support those who have grown rich
through anti-democratic corruption,
that is a violation of our First Amendment rights
to act as religious producers of active polytheistic democracy
The absence of ecclesial control
over antisocial producers of hatred,
including first and front and center
the MAGA-magnet of North v South American organized crimes
against healthy mental wants
and wealthy body needs
of nature+spirit indigenous democratizers.
Uncivil and irreligious rights to bear arms
against other organisms,
as compared to natural rights to eat, to hunt,
are compassionately pleased,
rather than dispassionately displeased,
especially within a democratic-intending polity.
Arms, in this historical context,
are tools for self-defense
which, in a democracy,
as codified in the US First Amendment,
begin with the right to practice compassionately communicating
to speak and listen with and among the people [ecclesia],
without need to fear being fired upon.
These natural+spiritual roots to ecclesial defense
and citizenry optimization
are pre-linguistic,
so all the more pre-ballistic dis-associations
of any ecosystemic trauma.
Our First Amendment,
of and for whom we are becoming
as a healthy democracy-producing ecclesia
with natural rights
of co-empathic self-regeneration,
to normally speak and listen together
for Win+Win consilience,
and abnormally compete against each other
Win v Lose,
non-indigenously provoked
through acts of violence,
armed fear-mongering.
We are a Win+Win polyamorous people
disarmed by candor and curiosity
for Original Ecclesial Trust.
