I suppose a Jewish therapist
deeply immersed within the Torah,
reading words of Jesus
in the first three gospels
might easily imagine these the teachings
of an often depressed schizophrenic
with compulsive self-obsession
as a sacrificial lamb
living in an unredeemed economy,
but this sidesteps sacred truths,
yeast does transubstantiate diastolically through organic bodies,
a positively deviant virus becoming fertile nutritional commodities
for anthrocentrically benign-as-healthy
wealthy evolving purposes,
preferences,
norms,
traditions,
etching yet evolving through yeasty regenerations
of self-redeeming health with beauty generations.
If the original primal Christian intent
was also the Tao of Self+Other ecoconscious
egocentric sacrifice to (0)Zen Center,
then Jesus of Nazareth was also transubstantiating
Eastern nondual co-arising ecology of nature-spirit mindbodies

most have examined economic cooperative minds without political bodies
as stand alone elephants in a laboratory room,

When you hear justice
do you also listen for responsive mercy?
Or are you more likely to feel merciless revenge

If revenge is your best defense
against chaotic complexities of anti-social behavior,
If punitive humiliation is this justice you would mentor,
live by,
protect,
then you will be an often disappointed,
and disappointingly ineffective,
parent,
and would best stay far away
from anything in law enforcement
and civil defense,
and gun permits.
Advocates and defenders of justice for all
are deep lovers of intentions and behaviors
positive humored
seeking their notnot negative unbalancing
of empty cleansing rituals including Society’s ecopolitical liturgies,
obsessive-compulsive demoralizing ruminations,
ruinations,
ramblings and echoes of great and small climatic transitions
quaking Earth’s moral imagination
steeped in Anthro cultures and histories,
kind and not-unkind.
Justice without mercy
is like reactivating love without peace,
like trying to actually mentor love
without internal and interdependent contentment
that we are in this life together,
all both guilty and innocent of most everything one might imagine,
until we fall apart
to reweave yet another new day,
with notnot strictured Elder shadows,
mercifully thrown together
as not-not fully grown regenerates.
Intelligence,
including, but not particularly indigenous to,
human intelligence,
begins with nutritional ecopolitical exchange systems,
discerning what might be good to consume,
and healthy to produce for and with future generations,
and what might become a more toxic pest
attracted to me as your next best meal.
Humans enjoy speaking of our gastric-rooted economic issues and deposits
as politically healthy cooperation
or pig-headed competition
between species
nearly as much as we protest our innocence of buying,
well, stealing, actually,
Earth’s healthy climate
supporting multicultural feeding and fueling and reproducing
and breathing and beating and surfing
and dancing and singing and flying Elder species
each and all knowing enough to eat while the sun shines
not yet too bright
for hungry thirsty
but still struggling-healthy
root gastro-intestinal chemistry-climatic nutrient
networking ecosystems.
If Kant had been a medical doctor
or a better historian
he might have concluded with an ecology of network phenomenology,
We eat and drink,
therefore we are,
and eventually are no longer
of and for a discontinuous remembering health/pathology identity.
DNA remembered

and designed feeding root systems and leaves
long before hungry mouths and decomposing butt-heads,

We say we could become anything,
but do we mean we might achieve everything,

How do WinWin ecopolitical norms
accommodate WinLose evolutionary imaginations?
Permaculturists,
like environmental therapists
and holistic medicine practitioners of new life out of old deaths,
favorably contrast polycultures with problematic monocultural outcomes.
Weed patches, essentially,
where you intended your front yard garden
and which may infest where you intended to grow your healthy ego identity.
We might hope to become more polypathic achievers
by acclimating to less egocentric monopolistic gestalts,
climates of self and other awareness becoming atrophied subclimates,
static,
aging hoary traditionalists of thought and faith concomitant feelings,
calcifying empathic trusters of ego’s always limited
health v pathology hour by hour,
day by day,
decade by decade,
life by life contests, comparisons, contrasts,
each and all co-arising.
Yet, like Yangish competitive power over others
and Yin’s gooier cooperative internalized power with others,
these opposing bilaterals
are also dynamically recycling appositional revolutions
within and without climates and subclimates
of intricately networking change,
searching for optimal,
not maximal extreme fundamentalist,
but optimally sustainable healthy tensegrity, synergy, therapy,
softly contentious contentment,
peace through responsible and mutually-held flexibility,
in-between competition and cooperation and victimization,
in-between LeftBrain deductions and RightBrain inductions,
in-between monocultural ecopolitical maximization of human ego-natures
and polycultural ecopolitical cooperative minimization of all Earth’s Living Natures
lies a vastly complex, often feeling chaotic, overwhelming
transitioning
regenerating middle ground,
an in-between Tipping Pointed recycling networks of issues and platitudes,
a wu-wei spatial place of ego/eco-mind,
collective ecoconsciousness
and RealTime WinLeft/WinRight flexibly enlightening
enriching
endeepening thermodynamic balance.
In this in-between shadow place of becoming healthier balancing identities,
monocultures begin to look like what remains
of former polycultures,
artifacts of cherished Elders,
and what could continue to become part of a new wealthier
denser
ecologically balancing multiculturally thriving future.
What looks like monopolistic alien powers over little benign-ego me,
begin to look like what remains from our former shared polypathic
ecotherapeutic identity
hoping toward future powers with each other person and species,
imagination’s deja vu of a felt monopolistic forever compost
nurturing perfectly and deepdarkly enriching Black Holed wombs
of embryonic time’s regenerative evolutionary integrative
reweaving promise,
never beginning
and ever ending
timeless ecoconsciousness.
Truth with beauty natures of enlightening climates
do indeed continuously co-arise change,
invite flexibility of WinWin responses,
but these are changes that have traditionally favored health
and disfavored pathology.
To continue following your optimal light
is to become pilgrims of inclusive global health,
inside as outside,
gradually expanding Golden Rule awareness
to include intent and praxis and real-world cooperative/competing with, not paranoid against
ecotherapeutically ecoconscious ecological ecosystems
ecopolitically richer
and denser
yet lighter and happier
outcomes
that continue optimizing,
by avoiding extremes of fundamentalist maximizing Anthro-egos
and radical minimizing of Earth’s cooperative potential without us.

I never pass these opportunities to help.
You see I have an oldest son
now twenty-one
who is not quite right
and tries his best
but finding and keeping a peaceful train of thought,
much more a job,
is hard for him
and so he stays where he may be welcome
despite what he can ill afford
to rest on other’s dime and time.
I never pass a chance to help
when need for help is obvious
as the tears we face
when humanity feels disgraced,
effaced by race,
knowing only left behind
to do the best they can
to ask us to do our best, we can,
to help when they approach us
with life’s nutritional concerns.
I make it my business to always try to help
when someone’s in our mess.
It would be too out of character
to know me as these have heard,
doing my best to avoid
a dinged your door responsibility,
because if a mess I caused
I had no interest to not confess
and then open my eager to be warmed wallet,
already too long-suffering of neglect.
But I do confess,
these are all my messes,
and yours as well.
We have too often acclimated
to this culture,
where we do not actively care
for one another,
and so not so much for ourselves either.
I hope to treat each mess we cause
as gently and lovingly as I so hope
someone right now will find the faith to see
within my homeless not quite right son’s asking eyes:
Would you help me,
us?
Do you know yet,
already,
we are in this together,
or we are out to fall and lose apart?
If you see him
let him go
do not hold him
by his toe
be not mean or bad in return.
Try with me to relearn
he’s done his almost best
to get it more almost right
next time.
So feel free to lavish praise
on how close he might have come
to doing better.
This helps him, and you,
feel and remember better
and perhaps even rather less than worse.
It would be my misdemeanor
to not do my best
wherever I see our mess.
I confess
I cannot see me in this way.
These watchers and listeners and speakers against me
must misunderstand,
yet perhaps that’s all to life’s good.
Makes me wonder
how they would see me
if they had recognized that guy in front,
stopped to say yes to each homeless mess,
could we all better take time enough
to just say yes
to benefits of doubt?
