Tao of CoPassionate Intelligence

Our UU Society, not “church”, is a member of an interreligious justice organizing project, not going so well. Failure to swell.

Our U.S. Religious Right neighbors are not interested, perhaps actively disinterested, in taking beloved community with Us.

Our U.S. Religious Left and MainLine constituency is not interested, perhaps also actively disinterested, in taking beloved community with Them.

That becomes problematic when missioned to reduce irreligious trauma for all interfaith community members, and potential communion reorganizers.

So, our organizer staff thought about this, using systemic thinking/feeling skills, and decided to offer free NonViolent Communication training on a zoom platform. While teaching communication skills, our healthcare case studies and beloved community role play draw from our own economic and political trauma experiences and our own irreligious disassociation from sacred Earth’s polycultural wellness history.

To this end, a staff member asked a vulnerably queer guy certified in Multicultural Community Mediation, Integral Permaculture Design, and Music and Movement Compassion Therapy to invite every non-professional religious, non-clergy constituent of all religious communities to a zoom discussion of challenging anthropocentric reconnecting wisdom issues.

How Do NonViolent Communications Help Us, and Them?

Our first compassionate community project was to discuss why “love” and “integrity” are not always synonyms, and then the eco-political advantages and disadvantages of reconsidering them as if they were synonymous when applied to what is sacred and what is organic, respectively.

That went fairly well for finding a common spiritual+natural intelligence ground root of symbiotic sentience.

Then we moved on to verbal consciousness questions.

Many of us hope for life after death. What do all sentient beings hope for life after birth?

If your life after birth experience has been different than what you hope for life after death, how and why?

Have you ever felt an organic sense of belonging within sacred MotherEarth? A connected time and contented place? If so, when and why?

How do you describe peak sentient awareness? Post-peak consciousness?

Do you believe in your ongoing economic life after ego-death? Why and/or why not?

Do you believe in the transcendent power of gladness, joy, after birth? And immanent powers of badness, sadness, madness?

We found these reconnecting questions both challenging and comforting.

Then we realized, we all,
right and left,
male and female,
parent and child,
monotheist and polytheist and atheist,
monogamous and polyamorous,
yang and yin,
crown and root,
spirit and nature,
mind and body,
1 and 0 cobinary prime relationships,
also find these questions
vulnerably uniting and transparently curious

Sacred belonging and organic longing,
together
going deeper
toward analyzing feelings,
body sentient needs,
and conscious mind wants.

A popular House Meeting question “What keeps you up at night?”

Generated diverse responses:
need to pee,
horny,
need to clean up after taking care of horny,
need to pee again,
arthritis,
recovering from surgery,
traffic noise,
late night news,
late night TV,
late night lights,
late night…

We shared this with our nonviolent community mediator. S/he strongly supports open questions, and yet, for our critical Beloved Community health risk situation, perhaps a more focused question would be more useful. How about?

Which is more likely to keep you up at night?
a. sex life
b spiritual life
c. lack of a sexy spiritual and spiritually sexy life.

Some deeper one-on-one questions:

Why do we usually associate health with love and disease with hate, and not the other way around?

What would consciousness of “God the Monotheistic Father” lose by recognizing sentient awareness of “Gaia Earth’s PolyAmorous Mother”?

Do you believe all relationships work out for the bipartisan Win+Win systemic best for those who love interfaith community organizing?

What would you lose, and what would you love, if our dialogue resulted in a covenant including

We religiously associate health, well-being, and therapeutic values
with healthy democratic minds and organic bodies.
AND
We irreligiously dissociate disease, chronic anxiety, and traumatic disvalues
troubling anthropocentric minds and unhealthy capital-driven bodies.

We find that two opinions are better than one, especially when at least one of the two is less anthropocentrically toxic and more ecosystemically synergetic.

We are healthier Right and Left enlightened together
than falling disempowered Right v Left apart.

Imagine with me
that your local
political
economic community,
municipality,
bioregion
is a communication network
already at hand,
like a mutually benign synergy
of informed healthy democracy

Which is what some residents actively hope for
as a peaceful sacred communion
and others engage in active voting campaigns
and political party platform design
for restoring Earth Justice communities
as architects for cooperative economic co-investments.

These economic and political,
empowering and enlightening,
positive communication networks
are ego+eco-logically healthy relationships

Within+without, theologically wealthy,
robust and resonant non-violent communications
of polytheistically positive
inter-religious compassion.

Imagine that ecological resilience
and theological polypathic resonance
within and beyond this communication network
extend back through past regenerations

How would you

design
plan

Reweaving Peace

Now that Restorative Justice
has raised her Gaian ecological purpose,
to restore polyamorous peace
in polyphonic
polypathic Turquoise Eden,
how do you continue to justify
a win v lose Retributive Justice evolutionary philosophy
of law and moral order
as contributing to healthy
win+win
regeneratively revolutionary democracy?

Asked the social systemic trauma Judge
of UnitingNations jurisdiction.

Restorative Justice
was never intended to be effective
when either victims or predators
are unwilling,
often incapable,
of re-engaging in cooperative
interdependent
every body wins dialogue,
egalitarian discernment
in-between Trust
and MisTrust
and hostile DisTrust
and restorative ReTrust.

So you argue
win+win regenerative assumptions
of self-conscious+other-sentient creatures
are not safely,
and not realistically, accessible
for all the healing dreams
and therapeutic purposes
endemic to our Gaian muse of peace?

An insufficiency
of experience
with healthy democratic revival;
yes.

And, where victims and a healthy society
are presumed Winners
by punishing scofflaw Losers,
how will continuing to primally rely on win v lose retribution

Retributive Justice
is the State’s weapon
to protect the Common Good
from further injustice,
a deterring threat;
not a tool

toward an effectively remediated peace,

or public resilient health.

How do you respond
to therapeutic win+win possibilities
of multiculturally mediated dialogue
to bring together victim compassion
with wrongdoer remorse,
without corporeal threat of criminalization?

Retributive Justice outcomes threaten further
release and parole caseloads,
recidivism,
imprisoned and exploited populations
of marginally surviving misfits,
disproportionately poor
and dark-skinned

Traditional patriarchal systems
do not over-invest
in democratic health
or economic opportunities
of our predative
and victimized,
traumatized
and terrified,
despised

and pillaged citizens,
as these are not well-established
in win+win cooperative investments.

I’m not sure
arguing against further patriarchal
competitive 0-sum capital investments
helps your justice through matriarchal cooperative

You invite the World Court to question
whether anyone is capable of sufficient trust
in resonantly democratic peace,

anthropological and ecological,
to actively communicate egalitarian
restorative
healthy democratic choice-making

Public Sector Predators

I have lately noticed
Win v Lose bottom-line business competitors
lead within for-profit rabidly accelerating circles
and are not thereby well prepared
to intelligently produce effective robust outcomes
in a more Win+Win democratic public resonance role,
elected or appointed
Artificial or anthropocentric.

I have further noted
general decline of original democratic public servant roles,
revolutionarily replaced by a competing public predator CEO role,
pirating political powers
to better hoard aristocratic economic royalty rewards.

This has been the stuff of history,
fall of Empires,
but also for-profit failing corporations.

It is these latter corporate failures
even beyond more vulnerably protected democratic
and inter-religious losses,
where authority of position
includes authority to continue employing others
in your business
or setting lowly employees free
to market themselves elsewhere,
for democracy enriching profit
or for self-serving quarterly producing profits
for absent short-term disinvested owners
and their equally self-serving managers
Ruthless corporate minds
without co-empathic bodies,
Caste preservationists
Religious professionals, I suppose,
rather than the old school
public servant model.

Living in a self-seeking climate of growing pathology,
where schools neither mentor nor bother to even lecture
the socially cooperative primacy of mutual caregiving,
grace of gratitude both served and received,
for civic responsibilities growing into interdependent authorities,
nor are parents necessarily skilled leaders
of mutually co-passionate Win+Win
ecopolitical skill-set development.

For these reasons,
and probably far remedially more,
it seemed right and normal,
good and proper,
that the best cooperatively judicious diplomats
of and for public policies and government procedures,
whether solely self-governing or also other-governing,
would be those with public win+win bipartisan backgrounds,
rather than private predative sector unforgiving foregrounds,
understudies of evolutionary Might Makes Reactionary Right.

Yet this model of competing ruthless command
just now appears a Commons lowering denominator
for both public and private sectors,
against more multiculturally cooperative wisdom.

It should be no more a surprise
to a U.S. President
that Presidents do not have unmitigated personal powers
of information disclosure
nor of disinformation fabrication,
of energy sharing and conserving
nor of energy hoarding for further profligate self-serving
further autonomously unmitigated powers
of revenge and competing campaign egomanias,
than surprise to a CEO
of any healthy interdependently-managed corporation
where private sector mutual service
and mutually subsidiary authorities
are co-responsibilities of all
who breathe and think maturely,
speak and listen democratically,
with cooperative heart beats
both diastatic wealthy
and systolic healthy,
both full and empty of ego/eco-viral powers,
mutually grateful
for all who live and laugh
midway between fully sacred longing is
and yet not yet organically belonging.

Public private servants,
consuming no more relational powers
than we can individually and collectively reproduce,
replace,
recycle
regenerate
reconnect
re-ligion

Because more recently
and cynically
we elect and normally appoint
Public Servants
based on their prior experience
as Private and/or Partisan Predators,
wealth and power accumulating hoarders
at their capital top
bucks stop here
in this pirate place
my allies and I have bought and sold
to defend and preserve
that we don’t public service get
what we do private sexist and racist and elitist pest
invest in.

Application forms
and ballots
all seek Win+Win caregivers,
too often counted and selected
by Win v Lose bully Presidents,
wearing Chief Executive Officer hats
rather than carrying Lead ComPassion Mentor portfolios.

Legislators and judges
educators and parents
achieve more wholesome outcomes
by remaining students of wide ecological
and deep neurological listening
than by becoming teachers
of Ayn Rand’s anthropocentric capitalist economics
for antisocial patriarchal climbers.

Original Freedom of Intent

Do you see yourself as more Republican
or leaning more Democrat?

Oh my,
I’m a card-carrying Republican.
Came from a long patriarchal line
of red-blooded Republicans.

What makes you a Republican?
What is Republicanism, do you think?

Well…being against the Democrats, mostly.

OK.
I get that.
But, what are Republicans for
that Democrats are at least not in favor of
enough to give it sufficient priority
for you to feel economically and politically comfortable?

Republicans are Freedom Fighters.
Give us liberty or death.

Well, presumably we will all have both,
eventually,
but liberty for what,
freedom to what,
freedom from what?

Free markets
and freedom of religion
and free from terrorist
and communist
and immigrant threats,
to begin with;
freedoms protected by our Constitution.

And presumably Democrats are, then,
for unfree regulated markets,
prescribed and proscribed religious derision,
because they are all liberal atheists anyway,
and more willing to tolerate terrorism and socialism
as part of Earth’s sick political and economic bounty,
and are, at best, ambivalent about freedoms
and values
asserted by monotheistic Constitutional authorities,
fundamentalistically interpreting
their Original Historical-Cultural Intent.

That sounds about right.

Would you agree that the Preamble
and the somewhat older Declaration of Independence
bear seminal weight
for establishing the Constitution’s intent
with regard to protection and promotion of freedoms?

Maybe.

Democratic freedoms
during our pre- through post-revolutionary period
were originally defined by contrast
against a traumatic unfree history
of economic and political aristocracy.
Our interdependent constitution as a free nation
composed of States with their own democracy enriching
intentional constitutions
were statements that we would not be owned
nor tyrannically controlled,
taxed and terminated,
by royal decree.

Freedom from kleptocratic authorities lies within our U.S. Constitution’s purpose
to establish a liberal union of democracies,
to live in interdependent cooperative freedoms
in which political authority’s boundaries
no longer exceed compassionate economic co-invested co-responsibilities.
Which party would you argue
is more articulate about sustaining freedoms from autocratic
centralizing
power trends and systems
advocating eco-political outcomes
of jingoistic nationalism
that disguise caste privilege of the rich and powerful
becoming ever more rich and controlling?

Well, I’m not sure.
That would probably be the Greens
or the Libertarians.

And,
which party is more liberally committed
to supporting regenerative interdependent responsibilities
to sustain future generations
of balanced democratic freedoms
from pathological plutocratic authorities
and growing grass-root freedoms to become responsibly,
compassionately,
co-responsible nurturers and health caring
of and for Earth’s future cooperatively renewing
and self-regenerating
Commons?

That would be the polyamorous Green polyculturalists.

So, why aren’t you that,
instead of a MAGA card-carrying Republican?

Oh, that’s your easiest question yet:
Because nobody votes for the Greens,
and hardly anybody has even heard,
much less smelled or seen,
a cooperatively integral
Permaculture Designer
or compassionately nonviolent communicator
or restorative justice of peace.

Unless you count democratic
root-systemic trees
and liberally fertilizing bees,
pantheistic plants
and compassionately communicating ecosystems.

But we don’t.
They can’t vote.

Neither do xenophobic
caste-privileged
monopolistic
straight white male dominant
rich and powerful
kleptocratic corporations.

Do you see Constitutional Intent
as more Republican corporate
or leaning more Democrat
MotherTrees and bees?

Natural and AntiSocial Capital

Hybrids,
like a good creole stew,
are amazingly viral cooperators,
competitively so,
transforming tastes toward richer anticipations.

We have all heard of social capital
and perhaps natural capital,
of social democrats and antisocial plutocrats
and cooperatively owned capitalist corporations,
including dipolar dialectical republics, perhaps.

These are all forms of restoratively healthy intent
to grow cooperatively nurturing ecopolitics,
as contrasted to retributive antisocial trends
toward further climate and political landscape
reactionary pathologies,
alien-fear and WE-FIRST! anger incensed,
flavored,
darkly infested.

For example,
early Christians believed the death and resurrection of their loving Messiah
reincarnated within their own cooperative nurturing diverse communities
would restoratively inoculate them
from a jealous YHWH’s apocalyptic
post-millennial
revolutionary climate changing war
against those who killed His divine-humane hybrid Son.

Now, within Christian cultures some two millennia later,
saying one does not believe in following Jesus
has become equivalent to not believing in the superior power of love
over hate
anger
fear
and greed.

Monotheistic-anthropocentric climate denier claims
have become internally contradictory,
oxymoronic,
and self-defeating,
self-denying

And Earth-denying in a larger capital cooperative sense
of climate progress
internal+external co-passionate health emergence.

For example,
you might have heard:
I don’t believe that bipartisan Win+Win ecopolitics
could ever become more culturally resonant and robust
than continuing Win v Lose militaristic capitalism.

And yet,
whether you have faith in cooperative restoration
as more robust than competitive retribution
does not change the evidence of evolving history,
beginning at Empty
and climate developing toward fully interdependent
evolving revolutions,
flowers and their next-generation seeds,
their synergetic democratizing potential,
within Earth’s moist humus

Revolving eco-redemptive events,
evidence of Gaia’s radically pantheistic love
overpowering dehumanizing privileged monotheism

God-killing wrath
against our own mortality,
and the daily humiliations of ego competitions never conclusively won,
growing mistrusts,
weeds,
dying thorns among redolent roses.

Climate change
is about both climatic degenerative trends
and climate regenerative nurturing possibilities
for politically cooperative global and individual peace
with ecojustice,
economically and elegantly ecological.

Yes,
climate change is about apocalypse
and critical-crisis revolutions
within ecopolitical patriarchal
and political-economic domestic matriarchal
harmonious choices and ballots of healthcare loving discernment
over dis-harmonious debates and competing hate ballistics.

But,
saying we do not believe in this revolutionary end
to LeftBrain competitive EitherWin-OrLose dominance
is unenlightened about humane wants
and disempowering. divinely embodied needs

LeftBrain dominance is the capacity and odds and ends of language
to speak active trust,
to admit ambivalent mistrust,
to declare unredemptively active distrusts.

LeftBrain Might-Makes-Right-And-Bright v WrongWaste
doesn’t care if you believe in its dominating history,
every time you continue feeding yourself
and your children
with your dominant right hand
your LeftBrain actions confess
your appositionally dipolar
enlightened mind
empowering body praxis.

It is as if your right hand
is not aware of what your less socially nurtured left hand
is not doing
as equivalently
as nutritiously
as capital-invested
powerfully.

Eschatology and revolutions
millennialism and global and even personal climate crises
are all about social-natural cooperative nurturing re-investment,
extending out,
democratizing,
reconnecting,
religioning,
healthing our Golden Capitalist MindBody Rule,
to love FatherSun and MotherEarth as oneself
is to cooperatively nurture capital investments
in doing to and with Earth’s matriarchal womb
as we would have all other interdependent
capitalized LifeForms
and forces
and flows
and neuro/eco-systemic bilateral hybrid functions
bow namaste with regenerator us.

Patriarch Yang-Sun
and Matriarch Earth-Yin
co-evolved their cooperative nurturing Golden Rule,
EcoSystemic Harmonics,
long before divining minds
with human bodies came along
to evolve our LeftBrain capital-dominant sacred scriptures
speaking re-creation experiences oft-retold, then written,
of climate pathological degenerations
and revolutionary climate ecotherapeutic restorers,
democratizing organic sanctification
through social nurturing capital re-investments.

A book of lists
is what I need
to absolve Earth’s Tribes
of rampant greed.

Before and after lists,
being and becoming fists,
masculine and feminist mutual mentoring trists
transubstantiating troubling transformations.

I would like to hug
a warm and fuzzy theology
with prophetic philosophical appeal
to ethical reasons and taste buds
both hunters and gatherers
might sing and dance
together.

Nationalism,
like narcissism,
only bigger and worser,
is out.
So Earth-centrism is in.

Egocentrism
like eco-centrism
only inward instead of also outward,
is out,
so ecological natures back in
balancing staminate/pistillate cooperatives,
consensual yang/yin co-intelligence.

I need an updated list of reasons why
as red flames out
green grows in
and when they color in together
we rediscover rich brown integrity
of less anthropocentric polycultures,
reweaving deep dark polyamorous syncretism,
for healthier Earth rooting stories,
not only compassionate logos taught,
but also pleasure mythos revived.

I love this list

peopling nurturing equalities
as blue states of Earth-centric redevelopment
redeem aquamarine green,

and together self-managed

when we had no bad news

Patriarchal Caste Capitalism

A problem for more successful Nazi leaders
during the early exterminating 1940s
was what would they be
should they no longer have any reason to war against

do not look and smell and taste and feel and sound

when all lesser beings have been put in our rightfully suppressed
and oppressed
and repressed extinguishing Loser places,
what then?

Who would be left
that anyone could cooperatively trust
to build a more regeneratively healthy world,
rather than One Elite-Predative Win v Lose unsustainable nightmare?
There is no one left to lose,
except by playing not so nice
amongst remaining Other-destroying rabid narcissistic selves.

When political agendas
begin to look like menus
for whom we will feed off next,
then essentially cooperative-nurturing economies,
requiring deep, rich polycultural norms
and polyamorous positive values,
curl inward and dissociatively die.

Over-grazing,
monoculturing expansionism
toward an eco-political Tipping Point
of elite-plutocrats left viciously and vulnerably alone,

reconnecting platforms and inter-religious parties

Healthier
and more resilient
