Dividing Island Nations

In a sense
each person capable of understanding these words
and those who speak diverse languages together
are island nations
splitting in two
by love
or fear
or both.

I have been concerned about the U.S. island of fundamentalist Christians,
formerly part of the One Creolizing Body of Christ,
now morbidly fascinated by fundamentalist Muslims,
as if they were each and all patriarchal elitists
terrorized by Holy JustWar Christians
who tend to vote Republican,
to further their religious missionary freedom
to deny moral equity to other natural-spiritual experiences
on other islands.

Republicans are increasingly AntiChristian Totalitarian
islands spreading across formerly restorative-therapeutic Earth,
interdependent health in a deep sacred ecological wealth sense,
sensory awareness
consciousness
throughout islands which lovingly remain profoundly and radically regenerative,
revolutionary in a PositivEnergy Polyphonic Way.

More Paradise Island
than rabidly exploitive of growing capital value inequities.
More pro-nutritional ecology,
healthy economic co-investments of all life forms,

Courageous Resilience

Like so many of my colleagues,
I have finally started “Community Resilience Reader”
edited by Daniel Lerch
of the Post Carbon Institute.

So far I would not compare “Reader” favorably
with publications available from Permaculture Designers
planting and harvesting polycultural slow-grown outcomes
about how to,
and why bother to,
resiliently ReGenerate.

But, I do share the Institute’s interest
in Systems Thinking,
especially BiLateral Systems Thinking,

Which seems to sweep in Positive Psychology
and Game Theory
and perhaps something like EarthSoul Group Theory,

With its holonic and fractal
and dipolar nondual
dualities,
its competing nomials
acting relationally as cooperative-competitive binomials,
its line and plane geosystemic developing polypaths
dynamically spiraling 4-dimensional
raveling and unraveling
temporal octave polyphonics
of light as color
and harmonic scaled sound,

DNA of EarthSoul Grace
as also karmic integrity
of sacred ecological gratitude.

I was struck by the last of six essential characteristics
of Resilient Communities,
and Families
and even Resilient WiseElders,
regardless of synergetic Age,
Time
WisdomWay
Truth
Life.

The word-choice in the Resilience Reader
is “courage.”
Courage is necessary,
although not sufficient,
for building and maintaining Resilience.

I agree.
But I believe this choice misses
a required prerequisite practice
to discern differences between Courage
and Foolishly Naïve.

As Daniel Lerch writes
why sustained resilience requires courage,
he seems to most acutely speak
of secular-sacred climaxing,
maturing,
Integrity.

The big Four climate issues:
energy
economics
ecology and
equity
are each Hugely global,
planetary

With devastating consequences for future generations
of at least most Species
if we continue lack of sufficient cooperative courage

Vespers At Dream Cafe

It was approaching sunset
displayed boldly across red sky west
as I entered Dream Café,

Time for candle lit vespers and incense
which I feared would be more personal nightmare
than political dream.

I came to this Café,
for the first time,
because our Democratic Town Committee
was nominating candidates for Mayor
and City Council
and School Board
right after silent and sung vespers
here inside a DreamCafe
on BenFranklin’s wisdom street.

I had been warned.
All those inside this Dream
each day at sunset
begin to smile with gratitude
and to pray
for multiculturing grace
to grow together.

This felt like a strangely inappropriate way
to fulfill Democratic trust commencements
so I was prepared to include my dismay
in my review
for next News delivery day.

Lights dimmed
along rose-hued
rough-cut walls
as candlelight began to come our way
through mists of frankincense in sway
and lavender,
orange and lemon oils
worked into handmade chairs
and cherry tables,
maple walls and oak-grained floor;
Incense burners on display
quieting louder sounds of fading AnthroPlay.

I had been warned
about this poly-creolizing array
to begin with a peace poem read
or sung
and, if a favorite of cooperatively gathered patrons,
then others might join in
sometimes swelling cadence
and harmonic rhythms
like I Have A Dream!
repeating what we’ve come to sacred share.

And so it was a well sung love song
for Earth,

with and in harmonic sway.

and creations in-between,

We used to publicly invest in WinWin diplomacy.

Then we got distracted

quite suddenly,
we’ve reversed directions
back toward

I realize
some of this is because
We The People
grow tired of WinLose AmericaFirst
lack of EarthCentered diplomacy
love,
faith,
or even fading hopes for more cooperation
and less egocentric
anthrocentric
competitions,
but,
really?
Change in the
more horrible Competing Business As Usual
lack of co-arising erection?

Really!!!!!

There’s only so much LoseLose ecopolitics
that one fairly small
living
natural-spiritual EarthSoul can tolerate.

We don’t need ambivalent Colonizing Climate Change rhetoric,
shouting Our Sky Is Failing
against and without each creolizing other.

We desperately need Climate Health of WinWin intention,
to reverse alarming Climate Pathologies
of RightWing LoseLose anti-sacred deep
holonic
cooperatively co-arising
ecologicalism,
healthywealth,
more perfect Unity and public Welfare
for all democratizing
mutually-trusting
species,
