Cultures Healthy and Pathological

It seems easier to do good
and live healthy
if you live in a democratically robust
and multiculturally resonant society.

For the same reasons
it’s much easier to bring oneself harm
and slowly disintegrate into isolating despair
when you live in a capitalistic patriarchal
competing rights make monoculturing might
anthro-centric supremacist society.

EarthRights denied,
also denies internal climate health
as multicultural sacramental wealth.


Public Sector Predators

I have lately noticed
WinLose bottom-line business competitors
lead within for-profit rabidly accelerating circles
and are not thereby well prepared
to produce effective robust outcomes
in a more WinWin democratic public service role,
elected or appointed.

I have further noted
general decline of original democratic public servant roles,
revolutionarily replaced by a competing public predator CEO role,
pirating political powers
to better hoard aristocratic economic rewards.

This has been the stuff of history,
fall of Empires,
but also for-profit failing corporations.

It is these latter corporate failures
even beyond more nakedly protected democratic losses,
where authority of position
includes authority to continue employing others
in your jail,
or setting lowly employees free
to market themselves elsewhere,
for democratic enriching profit
or for self-serving quarterly producing profits
for absent short-term disinvested owners
and their equally self-serving managers,
Colossus Trumpians, I suppose,
rather than the old school
public servant model.

Living in a self-seeking climate of growing pathology,
where schools neither mentor nor bother to even lecture
the socially cooperative primacy of mutual service,
grace of gratitude both given and received,
for civic responsibilities growing into interdependent authorities,
nor are parents necessarily skilled leaders
of mutually cooperative WinWin
ecopolitical skill-set development.

For these reasons,
and probably far remedially more,
it seemed right and normal,
good and proper,
that the best cooperatively judicious diplomats
of and for public policies and government procedures,
whether self-governing or also other-governing,
would be those with public servant sector backgrounds,
rather than private predative sector unforgiven foregrounds,
understories of evolutionary Might Makes Right.

Yet this model of competing ruthless leadership
just now appears a Commons lowering denominator
for both public and private sectors,
for more multiculturing cooperative wisdom.

It should be no more a surprise
to a U.S. President
that Presidents do not have unmitigated autonomous powers
of information disclosure
nor of information fabrication,
of energy sharing and conserving
nor of energy hoarding for further self-investing
even further autonomously unmitigated authorities
of revenge and competing egomanias,
than surprise to a CEO
of any healthy cooperatively-managed corporation
where private sector mutual service
and mutually subsidiary authorities
are co-responsibilities of all
who breathe and think maturely,
speak and listen democratically,
with heart beats
both diastatic wealthy
and systolic healthy,
both full and empty of ego/eco-viral powers,
mutually grateful
for all who live and laugh
midway between fully is and yet not yet.

Public private servants,
consuming no more relational powers
than we can individually and collectively reproduce,

Because we elect and normally appoint
Public Servants
based on their prior experience
as Private Predators,
wealth and power accumulating hoarders
at their capital top
bucks stop here
in this pirate place
my allies and I have bought and sold for,
I am learning
that we don’t public service get
what we do private sexist and racist and elitist pest
invest in.

Application forms
and ballots
all seek WinWin caregivers,
too often counted and selected
by WinLose bully Presidents,
wearing Chief Executive Officer hats
rather than carrying Lead Servant Mentor portfolios.

Legislators and judges
educators and parents
achieve more wholesome outcomes
by remaining students of deep ecological listening
than by becoming teachers
of Ayn Rand’s egocentric economics
for antisocial climbers.




Two-Edged Blades

A blade of grass
produces health
in annual balancing equivalence
to consuming soil and sun’s wealth.

A human child
given Earth’s sufficiencies,
produces robust health
by consuming soil and sun’s captures
and re-investing wealth
out into this child’s multiculturing exterior.

A wise humane Elder
given Earth’s sufficiencies
and given trust of responsible authority
by a democratically cooperative polity,
Also aspires to produce healthy outcomes
within that community
in balancing proportion
through consuming soil and sun’s captured resources,
re-invested in proportion
to this year’s metabolic wealth,
and to last year’s producer reimbursements,
nurturing future ecosystemic health,
and to each next generation’s producers,
nurtured by this wise care
of Earth’s wealthiest Elders.

A wise, and yet child-like, blade
consumes economic health
to produce cooperatively synergetic political wealth.

We talked about Howard Odum’s natural trinity
of altruism.

Maybe I skipped that day
way back in premillennial times
before Permaculture Design had taken over deep learning development.
Who is Howard Odum
and how does his natural trinity
diverge from my traditional Holy Trinity?
Or, maybe it doesn’t.

Howard Odum was an early systems theorist
who studied ecosystemic trends
of nutrition building and disintegration,
of sustainable balance
and runwaway monocultural disasters
like climate and landscape anti-nutritional pathologies.

Did you just say
climate change derives from monocultural overshoot,
a weedpatch taking over our garden,
also known as Earth?

I guess,
but in this case the weedpatch
is also known as over-industrialized
LeftBrain dominant
But, the natural trinity of altruism
is about climates of inter-relational health,
and not about monocultures and anthropocentrism.

I’m sure I missed this class,
if they even had it back in my Baby Boomer day.

You probably just got the Holy Trinity part,
when you studied metaphysics.
I don’t think they were teaching ecosystemic theory
when you took MultiCultural Civics Development classes;
although Howard was published well before your high school years.

It probably took awhile for educators
to figure out the significance
of ecosystemic balance,
within and without,
rather than merely lecturing about unsustainable imbalances
hoping for civil democratically optimizing
and, thereby, self-other regenerative systems
as wellness,
and not so much sickness.

Anyway, so is there a summary version of this natural trinity
that you might share?

Well, yes, I suppose the basic idea is as simple
as any convex and therefore also concave implicated triangle.

I’m already lost.
No recall of convex and concave
in my Holy Trinity.

OK, Odum’s natural trinity
is a dynamic model for balancing lifetime energy investments,
but at two levels.
The individual biosystem.
And, the collective species’ regenerational biosystem,
conceived as a not totally discontinuous
ongoing spacetime ecosystem
sharing Earth with other biosystemic ecosystems.

At both of these levels,
individual and higher-order species,
about a third of energy invested into the system
is required for healthy metabolic regeneration
of each and every mental-physical system.

Another consumed third of energy
feeds back to maintain mutually subsidiary subsystemic prey,
providers of fuel and energy.

The last captured third of energy
produces re-investments outward
to what Odum calls
“higher-order system controllers.”

Do you have an example?
What might be one of my potential investments
in a higher-order control/nurture system?

the hierarchical trinity we used
was grass in relationship with rabbits
in relationship with a predator,
like a fox,
for example.

So the rabbit’s energy waste fuels the grass,
and the more vulnerable rabbits feed the foxes.

Yes, especially the young and lame.
The ones who see and sniff and move less well.

I don’t see how that works out so well as a trinitarian third.
If you are young or lame or blind, especially.
But how does Odum approximate this one-third math
at the individual creature level?

That’s what we’re talking about in class.
I would imagine
if you view successfully hunted and devoured
from a predator’s perspective
you might feel the prey had made nearly a 100% re-investment,
perhaps omitting the larger bones,
in your higher-order controlling species.
Perhaps a hungry pride of lions.

This natural trinity of altruism
seems to suffer in the end
from more competitive taking without asking
and less cooperative giving without needing to be asked,
which is what I though altruism was more about.

I suppose Odum was looking at balanced ecosystems
as a resonantly deep whole,
in which about one third of a species’ generation,
as seen from God’s Higher Order perspective,
redeems the other two-thirds
by feeding the metabolic thrival needs
of higher-order predators,
controlling risks of overpopulation,
leading to monocultural landscapes and climates
of descending, and increasingly rabid,

You mean like mother pigs eating their young
to better feed those remaining in her litter?

OK, if that actually happens
I’m not sure I wanted to know about it.
Also, if that happens,
then we are talking about an out of balance system
between generations within the same species.
Perhaps Odum was speaking of some cosmic balance of energy.
Really big picture.
Polypathic energy exchanges.

And maybe higher order systems
are not limited to controlling predators.
Perhaps a higher order ecosystems
might nurture potential victims
of Earth’s imbalance,
especially our young and enslaved and addicted
to competing sensory blindness
and malnourished projects for ego-identity expansion,
until we each discover
that pain and loss and death
could be revisited
as equal to two-thirds of cooperative life
and multiculturing gain
through monoculturing absence,
loss of egocentric WinLose interest,
divestment of self
as re-investment in higher-order YangControl/YinNurture balance.

So, that would be the connection, then,
between Odum’s natural trinity of altruism
and Christianity’s Holy Trinity
of and for Earth’s multiculturing altruism.

Where is Holonic Spirit
in this dual level trinity
of higher order control
with lower order nurturance
producing self-regenerating healthy wealth
of ego/eco-systemic Earth?

That would be the middle ego/eco feeding balance,
growing out to extend family identity
to include gratitude for nurturing embryonic cousins,
both Son and Daughter resources,
bicameral X and bilateral Y,
extending on through our ultimate individual biosystemic loss
to higher order nurturing.

in 4D bilaterally co-gravitating
Commons-squared Folds
with dualdark ExFolding ExFormations.

You’re making that up

aren’t you?

About one third, I would say.
Another third comes from Elder RightYin memories
and the final third comes out through LeftBrain Yang-explicating
not necessarily higher ecological orders of balance
and resonant octave-fractal harmonics,
yet that is our Cooperative Democratic shared ideal,
I suppose?

And do we intuitively and multiculturally share
this 0-sum ecopolitical metaphysical development
do you think?

I hope so.
Otherwise I have a serious case of idolatrous
toxic imbalance going on,
contributing further to climates of dismay
rather than natural-spiritual trinities
of ecosystemic balance,
as was my original matriarchal intent.

yet it is also a critical time
to not continue being responsive
to patriarchal anthropocentrism
in all its …ism aspish apeish forms.

Why should U.S. women continue paying federal taxes?
Investing further resources in WinLose politics,
when we could, instead,
invest in WinWin cooperative ownership
of Earth as our mutual share-held Commons.

We could instead invest our tax dollars
in planting trees
and building stronger cooperative ownership
including deep learning and healthing ego/ecosystems,
and investing in WinWin ecopolitical,
and personal,
sacred and naturally regenerative games,
work and recreation,
networks of positive matriarchal co-discernment,
springing up from pockets and guilds of mutual subsidiarity.

This is not just a U.S. women’s federal tax boycott,
but all women who feel suppressed
and know oppression of cooperative investment
in and of and for future generations,
all conservationists of Earth’s healthy futures,
including our own,
and our families,
and our neighbors,
all allies boycotting nationalism
to co-invest in global cooperative nutrition-building networks
of WinWin sacred ecology,
both multicultural and polypathic,
creolizing polycultures
of and for regenerative health

through interdependent evermore
Deep Learning Time for CoOperative ReEducation.

Nationalism is a political landscape problem.
Matriarchal eco-repatriation is our ecopolitical climate of resolutions.
All living systems vote yes with our cooperative lives;
no with our degenerative ego-exhaustion.

If not now,

If not you,

If not here,

If not this regenerative potential,
then what remaining degenerativity?

If not for love,
then why bother?

Military offensive strategic norms
derive from fear that cooperative love
will not and cannot grow powerful enough
on the other side of a line we have drawn
in our minds.

And this fear
is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
For where fear rules our inter-relational policies
and international controlling procedures,
then love must thereby fade
from a fear-mongered collective mind
abandoned to pursue monopoly games,
drawing ever more fading lines
in quicksands of mistrust
in and on Earth’s profoundly robust cooperativity,
standing-by nutritional potential
for mutual loving contentment.

It’s not that competitive WinLose capitalism is bad
or intrinsically patriarchal evil,
it’s more that cooperative WinWin capital investments
work better
for healthy conservation of multiculturing wealth.

No taxation
without equitable cooperative representation.
A classic ring
with a touch of postmillennial zing.

Taxing investments sustaining healthy life are sacred values,
so what cannot
and must not pretend to
sustain ecological wealth becomes pathological plutocracy.


Flowing Through Quicksand

Meritocracy is nurtured through discerning differences
between regenerative and degenerative information.

Aristocracy is controlled and maintained
against revolutionary change
by both regenerative and degenerative energy patterns
of historic entitlement.

Merits and demerits
are nurtured and avoided.

Aristocrats and slaves are controlling and controlled
primarily and fundamentally
by birth rights and wrongs,
inherited wealth and power
and disinheriting poverty and absence of cooperative ownership,
even of an enslaved ego,
addicted to avoiding annihilation by fear-selling aristocratic gods,
and sometimes even goddesses,
disguised as princesses
and Queen Bees
and AntiFeminist Aunts.

Democracies nurture nonsexist and nonracist meritocracy,
rooted in past cooperatively successful experience
with ecosystemic self-governing balance,
familial meritocracy spewing out mutual governance skill sets,
and adult vocational performance
producing measurable mutually cooperative-nurture outcomes,
more than consuming competitive controlling outputs
of and for authority by right of historic purchased placement
rather than by right of mutually trusting responsibilities,
perhaps most revolutionarily felt
by First Generations of disenfranchised slaves
freed from ego-shackles of Aristocracy worship
by uncovering ecosystemic alternatives
of and for meritocracy of just and peaceful regular folks
living primarily in cooperative ownership and self/other governance.

Plutocracy seeks to control,
to maintain aristocratic ecopolitical controls,
rooted in past regenerative and degenerative energy patterns.

When do healthy democracies
turn toward pathological plutocracies?

When past performance standards
for public sector vocations
turn to whom and what you could buy and sell,
from whom and what you have cooperatively developed
for regenerative ecopolitical purposes,
healthy merits of past relational
and transactional history
with healthy
mutually happy
prosperously resolving ego/eco-balancing outcomes.

When the electors,
the civitas,
turn from discerning merits of mutual wisdom,
look away from matriarchal co-empowerment,
cooperative-ownership principles of actively trusting mutual subsidiarity,
becoming too nationalistically
and ethnically
and racially
and ego proud to actively nurture Earth’s dipolar cooperativity,
turning toward pathological preferences
for bipolar bicameral competitions
for playing WinLose Aristocratic Players
of egotistic Might Makes Right,
seeking monocultural monopolies of ever more aristocratic patriarchal control
rather than polypathically cooperative nurturing
of meritocratic nurturing equi-valent
democratic abundance.

When the healthy wealthy Earth Moms and Dads are in charge,
everybody may continue to competitively fight tomorrow,
but not before we all cooperatively prepare
enough for all to eat and sleep in peace tonight.
And no one allows anyone to go to bed hungry,
angry and unforgiven,
or enslaved by fear of egocentric aristocrats,
within oneself,
or without,
preferring ecopolitical landscapes of democratic cooperative abundance
balancing egoLeft with ecoRight,
flowing through economic swamps of political quicksand.

What do I nurture?
And what do I try to control?
Do I control what I nurture?
Do I nurture control?
And what about freedom
and spontaneity?
Can I control nurturing random choices,

How much is too much control,
no longer nurturing wealth as health?

What do we nurture through our controlled investments?
Our transactions?
Our daily relationship choices
on through to our annual self-taxing and re-assessment relationships?
And what do we try to control?
And do we control that we nurture healthier candidates
rather than more pathologically armed pirates
of and for our attention retention?

When riding a cooperative intended horse,
I nurture direction by invitation.
Our shared control
is through mutual continued re-invitation,
