Buying the Farm

Have you chosen what you will become,
my son,
or will you become something yet unchosen?

Become?

How will you keep yourself gainfully occupied,
dare I speak of vocation?

Oh yes,
I will be absent.

Absent from…?

From you.

My wisest son,
thank you for your perfect gift of omission,
and yet your future commissions
provoke my valiant interest now.

You are more curious
than absence would allow.

And you less curious
than vocations would avow.

Not true.
You rush to judge rashly
evidence only future time could carry.
I would become absent from inside voices,
those demanding I use mine,
closing minds to outside voices
ignoring body needs for outdoor vocal crimes
of raucous laughter,
shouting at echoing self-greetings
to outside experts too busy writing their competitions

Would it kill you,
wisest son,
instead of flaunting absence from inside voices

It might,

Climatic Dreams

I had a historic dream
that Einstein led polypathic Elders
pursuing roots of time
as emergence of light’s speeding race
through regenerative histories,
thought experiments revolving resolving enculturation.

I dreamed energy conjoined space
as rhythm reiterates pattern,
as time incarnates changing place
as space bifurcates time’s revolving light and dark
mutual recessivity,
ecological balance of Earth’s cycling revolutions,
cooperative norms within interdependent symbiosis,
multisystemic revolutions of evolutionary paradigms,
poetry as language both light and dualdark heart-soul investment.

I dreamed terror reacting to ballistic weapons
revolted into wonder responding to synergetic cultural ballast,
dense nutritional balance of political relationships
with economic transactional harmony,
that spirituality rejoined naturality,
as nurture reflects nature,
that wealth rejoined health,
that degenerative histories conjoined regenerative futures,

I dreamed

where all needs are opportunities
without risk of health-loss to others,
without compromising future generations
of beloved climax gardens,

The Hills Are Alive

I grew up gay
and singing in musicals.
At the time, these two seemed coincidental,
diassociated,
although in retrospect….

Some dancing too
but with no training in that area,
more about singing.

I grew up with
The Hills are Alive with the Sound of Music.

Then I stopped growing up,
and went about the sometimes cooperative business
of Mastering
Community Economic Development
Public Administration
Divinity (which Bucky would call Synergy)
and certifications
Permaculture Design,
for HIV medications,
and high blood pressure,
and bad cholesterol outweighing the good.
Then I began growing out,
and shorter,
singing The Earth is Alive
in all Six Senses of Musical Opera.

Now I’m growing more deeply
into long term polycultural ecotherapeutic outcome planning,
cooperative financial and health-investment,
for both interior and exterior landscapes,
polypathing co-elationally
to bicameral rhythmic heart beat and air flow,
dancing a PolyCultural Opera
as cooperatively possible
through PostMillennial ReGenesis
WinWin eco-political coop networks.

They are everywhere
once you learn to see through time’s health investment balance,
fractal-octave polycultural prime function,
e-squared = c-squared bicameral eyes, and trees,
ears, and Earth Tribe sounds of echoing hill music,
and autonomic bilateral diastolic precessive flow
with diastatic and post-recessive health regenerate hearts,

Earth Day Voices

Voices of creation speak Type A and Type B,
and polyglot dialects through Z, somehow under what lies in shadow
from B through Z,
anyway, Type A conscious I am alive
in this indoor moment
awake but not directly sun-absorbing right now,
uniquely articulating, yet deeply holonic
DNA embryonic
with all Earth’s tribal livelihoods
speaking our economic ecologic among ourselves.

My Type B right mindbody reminds through night shadows
fearing Type A loss, ego’s death of cultural dominance
may remainder only unconscious undead absence of awareness.
More comfortable as Type B eternal grace plan
to re-emerge through dualdark threshold
into Earth’s free-floating timeless absence of incarnate memory.

Feeling futile for my Plan A ego
but all part of Plan B’s co-mentoring designs as A-B,
now only dancing shadow voice, double-binding time’s revolving daily meeting pace,
home as Plan Z ZeroZen nest,
Type A through Z polyculturally ecstatic,
static NOW speaking through Type A’s closed windows and doors,
sweeping down chimneys
and up through cold damp basements whispering nighttime’s A-B dissonance,
absence of warm empathic resonance.

Each of time’s voices speaking through each day and night,
some more balanced and resonating deep ecology,
others echoing, struggling, dissonating to not disappear
in anthrocentric ghetto of despair,
needing wider voices of enculturing air
speaking in deep learning dialects of enriching birdbrained song,
Earth’s bilaterally languaging design volution.

April Loves

She worships her western horizon
toward the river, sparkling, hinting of lightning pasts and futures.

Leonardo is wrong.
This seems unlikely, perhaps judgmental,
harsh,
even so, his God clearly reconstructed in his well-owned glorious image,
universal God of Creative Architecture.

But, for her, as she watches bruised red wilt into painfully pale lavender,
over black night’s forest line,
cerebrally alone,
sacredly uniting
nature speaks through Gaia’s full-timed EcoLogos Voice,
sometimes in pastel skies and meadows,
sometimes in relentlessly vibrant green,
sometimes Full Moon, New Moon,…
Rain, Wind, sometimes sublime both on her tin roof, whistling through worn-out window frames.

If God were made in her image,
creation would speak in reasoned fertile seasons of shadow dark, and lightning bright,
synapses of climax, echoing down river valleys
rolling out grand majesty of EcoLogos,
perfect rhythms,
rain beating Earth’s thunderous future.

It would have been more revolutionary
and probably therapeutic,
most certainly lovelier, had Leonardo portrayed God as Earth’s logos voice
swirling light as surf,
tidal river waters gleaming wide at dusk,
narrower in dawn’s first light,
a ribbon flowing light emerging to west
reflecting waters greeting eastern sky enlightenment,
Gaia’s morning river logos
translating Sun’s architectural might.

Distinctions of Difference

This sun-warmed March morning
while slowly stretching
in my sedate senior way,
I wondered how I might blame myself
for religious teachers
forgetting most often
that healthy minds are also healthy bodies,
living on and in healthy relationships
and neighborhoods,
enculturing planet.

Who could I blame
for secular science and arts
and health-nutrition teachers
forgetting most often
that healthy bodies are also polyculturally well-fed minds?

Differences of mind and body
are merely in our nondual mindbodies.

While I can discern distinction
I find no functional difference
between natural bio-harmonic functions, frequencies, and formative outcomes,
and ecosystemic mind-balance integrative acquisition.
Isn’t this the reverse corollary
of survival of the fittest?

Thrival of the most confluently balancing mindbodies
is also survival of the least dissonant inside with outside.
Just, even more so,
like Yang-face with Yin-grace.

Perhaps it would help
if I stretch just a bit longer,
if we could learn to stretch-see together,
dipolar AND nondual co-arising
Yang is with Yin
as Body is with Mind
as Left-Dominant Bodymind is with Right-DiPolar-Reverse Mindbody
as Universal is with Unitarian-Integral
as Energy is with cooperative Spirit

My non-languaged son sleeps with angels

inviting his attention and participation

My son can hear this perfect love as life.
We should all become such
wise listeners of
Internal warm nutrition voices
as mutually-held External warm light
contenting ecoconsciousness.

My son would become a Bodhisattva Messiah,
were he capable of maturing images of memory patterned landscapes
as less than already fully diastatic
Beloved Community of Angels by Night,
DNA/RNA Earth-Holonic BeLonging Community
of Cooperative-Contented EcoPolitical Family
by Day.

Now if the rest of us
could just catch what he has,
in part
because we feel free to return

we would remember to see
