Slow Grown Sunrise

Some mornings I slow down.
If you saw me this morning,
you might reasonably conclude
I could not possibly reduce my productive pace,
a social disgrace,
slogging through my domestic place.

Days, or at least my light within each day,
grow shorter,
while everything remains to be done
to care for future generations
of children
and puppies
and cubs
and kittens
and kids
and calves.

Yet dawn silently screeches toward timelessness
as I realize
I was produced
in a moment of ecstasy,
but also nine-months prepared to thrive
on Earth,
while my unique,
yet resonantly symbiotic, DNA
is born of prehistoric generations,
back when time and light’s productive moments
were measured in full and empty,
ecstatic and aptic,
rising toward another regenerative morning,
and setting toward yet another sacred decomposing night.

It is this slow memory of near timelessness
that revolves through my bones and flesh
and is cooperatively shared
not just with my own Win-matriarchal
and Win-patriarchal lines,
but also our globally shared regeneration
through timeless ecstatic moments
of symbiotic great transitions,
commencing nine months for each preparation
to greet our brothers and sisters,
cousins and families
extending back through competing histories
and cooperative matriarchal nutrition and health mentoring,
fire and wind and water and safety education,
revolving through slow-growth wisdom
of timeless sunrise,
oceans of DNA an Elder RNA,
regenerative,
synchronic
places and times,
landscapes

I have bloomed and wilted
where I have been planted,
and where I have chosen to plant myself,
and our future
greeting past revolving sacred memories,
here with now.

When Beauty Turns Dark

Beauty includes dignity,
respect easily visible
to our nutritional sensors,
including when Beauty grows dark edges.

We each,
individually,
and as a species of life form,
have our unique and our speciated EarthBeauty functions,
perhaps what also translates as Sacred Grace
for some,
Sacred Ecology
for more LeftBrain dominant others.

Beauty is its own purpose,
finds our own internal and interdependent-external meanings
in place
and time.

Beauty,
in natural grace systems,
is influenced by seasonal changes,

It is so easy to love Beauty,
to want to cooperate with grace,
to need to dance with just the right song,

right day and night,
sung just the right harmonic way,
together.

But, beauty, like natural grace,

can turn dark,
sour,
prematurely fragile
through anger
shadowing deeper economic and political fears
shadowing basic
foundationally
profoundly paranoid distrusts
of Earth’s basic Beauty
fundamental Grace

seasonal,
revolutionary WinTruth of Yang optimization
through WinBeauty of GraceFlow Yin
cooperative EquiValence.

Dipolar Left and Right can retain mutual interdependent appositions,
and yet not tolerate bipolar oppositional dualdark beauty
of terrifying awe
perpetuating internal cognitive-affective chronic paranoid dissonance
and external patriarchal marches toward ecopolitical monocultural elitism,

When Life Feels More Right Than Wrong

How could education about Earth sciences and arts,
much less humanities

and Yin beauty,
not also remain consistent

that would be like trying to imagine 4D spiraling space

Dancing Through Thin Margins

There is an old and wise saying,
Take only what you need
and use everything you take.

We often consider the first part,
or at least make occasional stabs at simplicity,
but the last part is less frequently said
or thought about
as essential to healthy vulnerability.

If we don’t use everything we take
and have been given by others,
then we can be sure
we have been given, and perhaps taken,
more than we need.

Taking only what we need
sounds obvious and transparently ethical,
perhaps even aesthetic
in purity of harmonic intent,
yet more mysterious
and richer
and deeper
when we remember
that life itself,
and human life even evolving more so,
is lived in margins,
double-boundaried spaces,
places,
times,
seasons of growth and decay.

Earth’s marginal soul
is living soil and water,
surface wind and fire storms
and swells and ebbs.
RNA and DNA regenerate
on and within this thin biosystemic sphere
between atmosphere
and dead bedrock.

Life, as contrasted to not-life,
is a marginally placed process
of learning to take only what Earth offers
