Happy Republicans on PBS

I heard a Conservative consumer satisfaction survey on PBS yesterday, regarding President Trump’s performance in that role, to date.

So far, both his proletariat and bourgeois constituencies sound like they feel not ignored, and therefore newly happy and hopeful. One Republican woman almost twitterishly volunteered what was news to my Masters in Public Administration civil service ears: “The government’s job is to create a healthy business growth climate, and cut middle class taxes.”

I, a naive former graduate student, listening too much to PhD’s, apparently, had thought the role of government was to promote the regenerative health and happiness, prosperity and security of all the people at all times. Had I received the memo that we were now just a public sector investor in the proletariat business community, my job could have been so much easier, and even less satisfying!

But, more seriously, this has been the unashamed naked  government vocational model for economic Conservatives, wearing the True Patriot Republican imprimatur, since the prior millennium–so I was shocked about the public exposure of such blatant reification of our cooperative health and safety purposes, but I knew it was probably rolling around in her head.

It does concern me that economic Conservatives who are themselves below median household and/or business-corporate income are feeling heard by President Trump during this his first week behind the desk of Executive Orders.

“Business” in plutocratically Elite WashingtonLand, is most accurately translated by Trumpian friends and extended corporate family, as short-term financial profit for owners of corporate interests with above median business income potential.

This is the same economic and political Conservative population that Marx called “bourgeois”, looking for evermore financially safe-harbored large-corporate financial-industrial-insurance-military income, and what Political Scientists would call the economic and politically empowered Elite. You and I are not they, and they are assuredly  competitive WinLose evolutionary game strategists. Elite-Bourgeois economic Conservatives are our Patriotic Predators; and we are cast as the Loser NonElite Prey, regardless of our conservation of economic health, or progression of politically multicultural wealth, proclivities.

Here, then, are some ways that this economic Conservative is feeling both ignored, and very much not heard:

Building walls to keep out Central and South America is healthy Elite military-industrial subcontractor growth.

Building resistance walls to keep public investments from flowing into NonElite Health Care planning and service delivery is  only healthy for Elite insurance-financial investment sector growth potential, at my inflamed expense.

Raising taxes only for 12 million below-median taxpayers is also healthy Elite Republican growth of Washington subcontractor and military-industrial growth, and probably at my additional expense. And, the last I knew, by anyone’s definition this is not “lowering Middle Class taxes.”

President Trump’s version of economic Conservatism intends to ignore, and in fact further prey upon, both neglect and abuse, NonElite working class below-median income people, and our busyness, listening and watching Reality Shows, and cognitive-dissonantly tuning out Trump’s Predative UnReality Show.

Next time, be more careful which ecopolitical development side you vote against. This time, unwashed proletariats who still clean our own toilets, and yet enthusiastically voted for Trump, got the royal flush you were not expecting or hoping for, or even listening to as it unfolds before our mysteriously enthusiastic, hypnotized eyes.

His political business promotion is not the inclusive economic health you want, and have a right to expect. Healthy public governance cooperatively, bicamerally, supports everybody’s healthy busyness and regenerative play.

I was reading Lakoff’s story
of what he learned at Berkeley
about international relations,
when I found my RightBrain offering further nuance;
not to deny what is here,
but to add what is also here,
but not explicitly stated,
about regenerative ecopolitical health and safety.

I think he’s talking about a cooperative bicameral political systems,
with “How to talk to the other side”.

And what could that possibly mean, dear Yang?

Well,
I was watching this Ted-talk from Marin,
by Robb Willer, as I anciently recall,
while reading George Lakoff’s “Political Mind”,
still…

Speaking of what that could possibly mean,

Yes, I was reading Lakoff and listening Willer,
both probably influenced by Berkeley ecopolitical acclimation,

which was also sometimes bicameral-appositionally structured
to bilaterally invite both-and comparisons
where LeftBrain dominance competes either-or survivalist evolutions.

Now I couldn’t possibly be more lost
in your polysyllables
where I prefer polypathic rhythms,
jazzier occupier beats of revolution.

This is starting to sound like an opera version
of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf.
So, as I was saying,

Custody of the Eyes

Monks and nuns,
ascetics and miscellaneous humble proletariat folks,
were taught custody of the eyes,
to show respect for those older
and/or wiser
and/or more supremely royal,
and/or in other positions of merited or inherited authority,
to avoid appearing too curious
too available
too interested,
to avoid temptations
of lust and envy and gossip,
to avoid that part of our reality show
that was only meant for the real adults
in our extended family rooms and screens,
creeping across hedge and boundary and custody-paradigm issues
of who is worthy to be in and who not-so-much.

African-American sons and daughters of enslavement,
were taught custody of the eyes
and ears,
and nose,
and hands,
and mouth,
and mind,
because what may be nutritious for WesternWhite Entitlement folks
is what is inappropriately dangerous for nonWhite dependent nonfolks.

Custody of the senses, including the eyes,
is a form of risk management
and precisely what healthy, curious polypathic trusting people
would never ever choose to do,
to enrich not only our own curious multiculturing eyes,
but also to do our part to facilitate
therapeutic opening of our EarthTribe extended families’
ecologically deep-nutritious, bicameral nurturing, eyes.

Custody of the eyes,

BigScreen Feminist Reality Show

A Feminist Second Wave
reached shore with my economic and political coming of age
creation story.

Yet this Revolution for Reproductive Rights
has always also predicted Third Wave emergence
of full-octave regenerative healthy climate ecotherapy justice for all,
regardless of gender,
regardless of species,
regardless of exterior ecosystemic landscapes of Earth foci
or deep ecological interior neural-systemic climate of humane matriarchal,
cooperative Left-Right Brain embodied equivalent focus
maturing nature-spirit nondual empathic trust with curiosity,
rather than more shadow side mere tolerance

Like Fish in Fresh Water

Like fish
for whom water might have the transparent invisibility
of ubiquitous healthy atmosphere,
our primal natural-spiritual nondual first love
and last hope
is for ever-more regenerative health trends,
and not degenerative pathology trends.

That being so,
if indeed I have this Left-Right balanced accurately,
conserve-progress polypathically,
economically and politically,
ecologically,
then health optimization for both LeftBrain ego conservatism
and RightBrain ecoconscious nondual freedom of integrity,
can never settle for WinLose choices,
instead, using these emerging competing choices
toward discerning WinWin multicultural regenerativity.

This could be true within a humane-divining individual,
within secular-sacred families and households,
within natural dynamic-enspirited,
cooperatively-owned and managed economies,
and between politically incorporated governments,
as it is true within any regeneratively trending healthy ecosystem,
whether explicitly,
or merely implicitly,
bi-lateral balancing our nondualist co-arising journey
toward WinWin healthy ego/eco-consciousness.

Where do we think all this economic and politically empowering
cooperative
nutritional
organically luscious imagination
and ecologically exegetical orthopraxis
started?

George Lakoff speaks of strictly straight stern paternalistic God the Universalist Fathers,
vertically Winning over an otherwise Loser, yet highly competitive, ecopolitical world
and ecologically survivalist-separatist
human parasite-divine supremacist
nature-spirit dualist Western-Dominant straight-way
of seeing our origins
and ourselves,
or at least our father-figures,
ForeFathers,
ProGenitors of victorious Yang-Health Win/Lose
Left over RightBrain WinWin Dominant enculturation.

OK,
I may have added a few gaming elements,
paradigmatic essences which Lakoff
speaks of as if they may be associated with some other economically and politically normative and important words like
healthy v pathological climate,
spirit,
natural chemistry,
dynamic,
changing yet traditional ecological networking relationships.

In describing what I call LeftBrain ecopolitical Dominance,
and he describes as patriarchal straight-stern Father Knows Healthy Competitive Best 1950’s Republicanism,
“Absolute categorization requires essences,
properties that define absolute categories.”
Patriarchs tend to be Win/Lose Universalists,
as nurturing Matriarchs therapeutically trend toward WinWin Unitarian-Integrationists,
polycultural nondual co-arising nature-spirit enrichment
over monocultural BadBoy too-competitive ecopolitics.

Strict Father evolutionary ecopolitical models,
also LeftBrain Enculturation-Language Dominant,
are more drawn to spiritual fundamentalist belief systems
while their Nurturing Matriarchal Networking RightBrain
looks toward root systems of natural-radical regenerative fertility,
requiring some fortunate/unfortunate ambiguity about the nature-spirit compete/cooperate essences
of ecopolitical gender categories.

RightBrain radical spiritual experiences may be suppressed,
but MotherEarth’s cooperative regenesis is not yet dead.

Because of my own Strict Father evangelical Christian Republican,
post-adolescent USA formative years,
I have a renewing appreciation for growing up damaged,
but still RightBrain basically healthy-balancing,
in an ecopolitical LeftBrain Patriarchal EgoDominant conservationist Republican-agrarian
and yet healthy nature-spirit Matriarchal understory family,
where I was part of the dominant
Whites-Only
monoculturing
separatist rural Michigan culture,
and also secretly queer as a two-dollar bill,
as we used to say
back in the anti-feminist day.

This combination eventually led me away from Fundamentally-Dualist God the Condemning Father
toward the Radical-NonDualist Goddess the Nurturing Nature-Spirit
LeftEgo-Right ElderSacred EcoPolitical Wisdom Literature
of Taoism,
and Universal-Unitarianism,
where the hyphen itself
tells the entire permacultural history
between pre-millennial Tao as (0)-sum balancing ecopolitical SpaceTime
spoken in bilateral dialects of Patriarch/Matriarch Yang/Yin CoOperative Enthymematic Communication,
to fill in my nondual natural-spiritual matriarchal feminist side,
which is much more fun
and a whole lot wiser
than without.

From this still-maturing vantage
I can see
that we can all bicamerally see
that ecopolitical-ecological fusion is to regenerative complexity (M. Csikszentmilhalyi)
as cooperative-comparative ecopolitical blurring is to chaos theory,
or Creolizing Political Theory, in Jane Anna Gordon’s vocabulary,
or Feminist EcoPolitical Theory.

Here I enjoy a more cooperative networking and balancing culture
of extended polypathic bicameral family values,
while still aesthetically appreciating Patriarchal Forms
of CoMessianic Nurturing Daddies
as also Bodhisattva Matriarchal MercyWarriors of Peace and Climate Justice,
at their nurturing wise Solomonic best,
where we all began,
in RightMind ecopolitical prodigal potential Mommy’s Wombs,
living within Sacred MotherEarth’s climate
of Beloved CoOperative Left/Right contenting Health;
anonymous pre-embryonic Taoists.

LeftBrain ecopolitical and familial dominance
is more deeply etched in ‘nonEastern’ languaged
and nonverbally communicating/dissonating cultures,

(I dare not speak the LeftBrain WesternCapitalist Patriarchal Name
of strict means straight and stern Calvinist truth
more than also spiraling,
thermodynamically balancing,
double-binding fractal (0)-sum polypathic octave frequencies
of enlightnment,
CoOperative Nature’s Divinely Sacred Symmetric BiLateral Beauty)

Both verbally and nonverbally,
both familially and extended socially,
both economically and extended politically invested,
both competitively and cooperatively,
both authoritatively regenerative and nurturing-health responsibly,
it seems to me
these are the appositional polarities
around which each of our economic and political narratives
find their most nutritiously enlightening root systems
of ecological climate health as ego/eco-centric wealth.

The Donald looks more like the Court Jester
than the Court Messiah.
Unfortunately,
now the BadBoy logical conclusion
of LeftBrain Dominant USA adolescently competitive ecopolitics
has even more power of the purse
and the nuclear ballistics.
It’s like letting your kids
play with fire
while using your money for fuel.
It just doesn’t feel healthy
or like wise wealth investment planning
to me;
