Underground Rivers

Underground rivers unsettle thoughts,
feelings on stable ground.

Real estate doesn’t sound as real
with thoughts of hyporheic flow
beneath our feet,
out of sight and sound.

Rivers are meant to have light on top,
transparency.
Underground flow must look more like a furtive capillary
than an upfront tributary,
bringing salvific moisture
down into and across and through
deep ecological roots of fertility.

Hypostatic unions
are contrasts between understory backgrounds
emerging into focal foreground,
like darkness of night’s flowing complexities
from which light emerges each day
then fades again,
like Yang creation stories
emerging from Yin
hypostatic partnering,
hyporheic flow
deep down within ecological consciousness,
subterranean channels
feeding timeless roots
of healthy real estates,
cooperative becoming.

Growing MultiCultural Health Zones

In PermaCulture Design
we have orthodox healthy outcome trends
which we call polycultural development,
and we have decompositional unhealthy outcomes,
when life does not go as integrally planned,
which we call, by comparison,
monoculturally unfortunate results.
More of a weedpatch
than the organic Paradise we had in mind.

This broad range of negative monocultural
and positive polycultural outcomes
we map from ego-center on out
to extended families and guilds of ecosystems
and globally cooperative/competing ecopolitical networks,
inclusive of all Earth as a Whole Open System
wombed by a presumably ecobalancing Original Intent.

Zone Zero: -,- notnot 0 emerges each individual egocenter,
originating from a long continuous Earth-matriarchal line
of humaneing mindbodies,
Left/Right bicamerally-bilaterally-binomially normed
for WinWin co-regenerative planning and governance.

Zones One through Four: +/-1 through +/-4
EcoCenter defined as habitat, home,
positive means healthy,
negative means pathological-decompositional-degenerative.

Zone One: Home, house, household, residential family,
for better and worse.

Zone Two: Healthy ecopolitical inter-relational systems, nutritional communions.
LeftBrain deductive orientation–objects, tools for health care industry,
accomplishment,
gardens and grocery stores,
exercise routines, meditation, medical care-giving and care-receiving,
places of employment, learning, vocation, therapy, healing.

Zone Three: Network space for nutritional catch and re-invest wealth
of health resources
for optimizing nutritionally abundant fairness,
democratic co-operating communion,
guilds for financial and governance functions,
administration of healthy ecosystemic inter-relationships
between Zones 0-2,
culture of integrity and solidarity ecopolitical services,
integrated cooperative re-investment governance networks
informed by WinWin Golden Rules
applied across all multiculturing (0)sum rooted

BeNighted EnLightenment

Potawatomi language,
says Robin Wall Kimmerer,
does not verbally divide us into masculine and feminine.
However, unlike most English verbs,
Potawatomi verbs distinguish between animate and inanimate objects.

For example,
we use sit down
when speaking to an unruly son
and set down
when speaking of what we did with a stone
or a book
which the unruly son would never read.

I wonder if there are other ways
we could evolve this distinction
and if it would change how our relationships feel
over sufficient time
spreading across a multiculturing continent
of organic languages
and interdependent species.

I notice my own ways of using becoming,
where others might use being.
“Oh, that’s just your son
being your son”
sounds to me like
“That’s our son still becoming”
whomever he most hopes to become,
or not,
for some mysteriously unmotivated reasons.

It think it was David Bohm
who saw verbs as dynamically emerging and submerging,
diastatically full-bloomed
all the way through to
as static as a rock
appears upon it’s still emerging surface
slowly arriving time’s dynamic change trajectories.

The observation that “Climate change just is”
neither good nor bad in and of itself
becomes “Climate change emerges
and submerges within humanizing consciousness.”

“The current climate pathology trend just is”
becomes bad,
assuming climate health might become therapeutically good,
but what are we going to do?
What are we already in process of becoming?

It, pathology, just hopelessly is.
What right does Chicken Little have
to not deny that our sky is fading?
That’s what sky is.
It fades, every day.
At least for now.
Until it’s gone.
But, like Scarlet,
we’ll think about that tomorrow.
Or maybe we can let the grandkids
worry about what’s left.
Which is a good reason to not have kids…

So, climate pathology
submerges down deeper,
for awhile,
as climate change
equals Business As Usual;
it simply is
dissonance about outstanding hopeless pathologies,
inducing compassion yawns of exhaustion.

But another comparison between Potawatomi
and English is a reverse proportion
between verbs and nouns.
First Nation languages grow weighted toward dynamic becoming
and un-becoming verbs
as English lists heavily toward more static nouns.

This also reminds me of something David Bohm observed
about verbal functions of nouns
as becoming systems and unraveling systems,
or at least potentially unraveling,
as what becomes
must un-become,
systemically speaking.
For every dynamic
a season.

And, verbing nouns cast this peculiar word “climate”
in a more flowing toward and away from diastatic health
Paradise perspective,
like consciousness inside
climates influence outside
flowing toward healthier days and nights
easier to not do wrong as right
decades and cultures
industries and artifacts
scientific and artistic landscapes,
ebbing toward more dissonant
decaying decadent pathologies
rooted in our denial of what’s coming, yes.

But, more significantly,
continuing support for climate pathology
within a noun-oriented
static reductive LeftBrain frame of mind,
also denies hard empirical evidence of loss accelerating rates
already incurred,
already dynamically melting away,
multicultural disinvestment
becoming a more monoculturally anthropocentric
played-out,
thrown away
rabid
overpopulating “I’ll think about your disappearing kids’ futures tomorrow”
negative dynamic
sad
depressing.

What this superfluity of pessimistic denial fails to claim,
and build upon,
grows our ebb and flow dynamic of consciousness
and climates of imagined and historically remembered health
delineating pathological climate trends
in this our time
as we all struggle to breathe
more cooperatively together.

If we have not become conscious of health
then we cannot define pathological boundaries thereto,
just as we could not have a dynamic verb for benighting
if we had never reached for enlightening.

Theories of relative evolutions
lead developing learners of language and culture
to conclude
“OK, you say benighting climate pathology,
I say enlightened healthy ecopolitical climate,
at least for me and mine.”

Yet there are no LeftBrain contrasts of relativity
if not older RightBrain dipolar comparisons of interelationship
between internally dynamic and dissonant nutritional climates.

Bilaterally interdependent consciousness
of DNA transcribing Earth’s regenerativity
ebbs verbal pathology
and flows healthy nurturing phases
of co-arising becoming dynamic consciousness
inviting
co-conscious healthy climates
in-Yin as out-Yang
mutually symbiotic.

enlightening business as usual,

The sky is becoming faded
as Earth becomes inundated with too many aristocratic chickens
telling each other what not to RightBrain WinWin do
and what to do to control resulting LeftBrain dominant
Anger Management control issues.

Special Suffrage

Since our most recent U.S. Presidential non-selection,
for one thing a Trumpian could not become
is therapeutically presidential,
I have become worried about our democratic suffrage.

Perhaps only mothers, or maybe also fathers,
of kids with special vulnerability needs
should be allowed to vote,
or perhaps each and all allowed to vote,
but only special needs parents to vote twice.

With each vote cast,
whether one or two,
this vote is cast for healthy futures
wealthiest nutrients imaginable
for future generations with increasingly special climate needs.

It may take a special mom,
a compassionately vulnerable dad,
to truly see each child has special needs
to regenerate toward full strength wealth of health
accessible to those born harmed
by an increasingly rabid ecopolitics
of every man for himself
(and also women and children, if and as time allows)
in a Might Makes Triage Right evolving world
of actively distrusting revolutions
between aristocrats who harvest power
and special needs kids
who, by comparison, harvest not,
and never ever will.

Unless, or course,
we might conquer democratic potential
and original intent
by electing candidates whose primary experience
of electoral special needs value
are WinWin outcomes as moms,
and maybe even dads,
of kids with climate healthing special needs
well met
suffrage through discontent.

ReMembering Mortality

I wonder if something essential
to my individual identity,
our diverse ego centers,
must become recognized as waning,
on it’s
my
decomposing way toward death,
absence of hope for infinite future physical ego-integrity,
before it becomes possible to grab on to CoOperative Promise
with my more inductive eco-centering feeling left hand
to grow again from non-dominant
embryonic RightBrain organic seasonal beginnings
of listening for global multicultural integrity,
that matriarchal matters more, some Advent seasons,
and equally, during transitional birthing seasons,
and sometimes less revolutionary
yet still dipolar co-arising ego’s relentless waning.

Not just knowing death as incoming (0)-sum absence
of capacity to return love offered,
fear threatened,
but also gratitude for each eco-normative relationship
having become matriarchal integrity reborn,
some gone before already
and yet many to continue on
throughout this our eco-operating lines.

It is in my ego vulnerability
that Earth’s continuous matriarchal rebirth
grows reweaving
reborn,
both within my personal landscape
and across this our ecopolitical global climate.

Hearing Colors

When I see in colors
I say Yes
softly or loudly
and usually in-between
depending on our vibrancy together.

When we see in black and white,
we say maybe yes
and perhaps not
and other shades of ambivalent grey.

I cannot see in black
as I cannot see white at all
except perhaps as shades of transparency.

When I hear in resonant music
I say Yes
to truths of resolution,
trusting resilient motions of emotion
integrity of life
life as integrity
potentiating further regenerations;
new songs for perpetuating tomorrow.

When I hear in words
I’m listening for what’s missing.
Lyrics without a melody
are just more disappointing words.

I see best in full dressed color
and hear our dynamic truths
most resonantly as music
in soft sizzling preludes
on through conflagrations
loud climatic revolutions
followed by silence
black as night
waiting for white
bright dawning colors
dancing new music
vibrant washed.

Learning in full octave ranges
we can see a child
listening for a parent
seeing community developers
and violators
listening to fellow politicians
longing to write and read
hear and speak poetry together
while seeing as musicians
swelling gospel choirs
and drumming
burning orchestrations
of co-redeeming music
in full non-flagging flames of color.

When we hear in colors
we see full octave best
until it’s time for rest
notes that last
until they don’t
turn just right bright
vibrant multicolors.

UnHoly Punishments

What we can’t imagine
is what we won’t imagine
for lack of polypathic priority,
for too much fullness of rotting exegetical Promise.

What I won’t imagine
becomes what I would never choose to invest in,
to nurture,
both filled with fear
of self-emptying prophecy
and overflowing with love
for Earth’s fulfilling potentiality;
robust
resilient with or without us
regenerate
opposite of delineating pathology
through superego’s anthro-absence.

We evolve healthy wealth becomings
truncated by static nonverbal then verbal …isms,
unimaginably ebbing and flowing
what we have not yet hypostatically imagined dynamic,
ergodically patterned,
bionically rhythmed
creolically rocked
and matriarchal understory schism-rolled
rewards of and for Earth’s echo imagining bicamerality,
sacred nondual ecology.

God’s punishment
is for what we won’t imagine,
multiculturally polypathic together.

Graceful Piracy

What we take in each day,
what I choose to read,
to watch,
which individuals and which species I choose to listen to
and how long and closely I prefer to listen with them,
are all predicted by past nurture,
predicting future nurturing v toxic choices.

What takes me in each day
toward opulence of night,
what stories choose to become most richly mine,
which voices prefer to speak of and toward my growing identity,
these control me
when I cannot
and choose not
to control them
together,
mutually nurturing
our cooperative interdependent natures.

Taking in and out each day
and resonating pirate night.

Braiding Dawn with Eve

In “Braiding Sweetgrass”
Robin Wall Kimmerer
favorably contrasts Skywoman’s creation story
with Eve’s less abundant vocation.

In our shared Right hemisphere,
Skywoman “created a garden
for the wellbeing of all.”
While in and out of the more extractive Left hemisphere,
Eve was banished from her forest garden
“and the gates clanged shut behind her.”

To live as fully as possible,
Eve must subdue the wildness
“into which she was cast.”
Meanwhile,
Skywoman remains an active matriarchal agent
of this casting and forecasting
wildness.

This feels fine to me as it is.
Yet I can also recognize Skywoman
as RightBrain Dawn
migrating through these four languaged millennia
to re-emerge this Eve of Earth’s climate pathologies
re-approaching reweaving gates bilaterally opening
with no more need for violent slamming shut
gates designed for polypathic bilateral nudging,
Dawn through Eve,
forward through back again,
surfing Left to Right
nondual co-arising.

In my version
of this Skywoman Dawn meets Eve,
Dawn says to Eve
“Sister, you got the short end of the stick…”
while Eve hears and dreams therapeutic response,
resonant resolutions
to lead with longer and deeper
and wider more inclusive nutritious carrots
this seasoning of Earth’s dualdark bicameral health
re-emerging
revolving
revolutioning
braiding dawn then eve
toward dawn’s DNA again.

Marching Against Military NonSolutions

Militarism,
and its xenophobic Nationalism brother,
are among a polarized USA’s most basic political habits
and economically competitive behaviors.

Violence with and against others
is among the most difficult and sensitive climate pathologies to deal with,
