Prodigal Parenting

When I read the Prodigal Son story
I do my best to find my own story
empathizing with both brothers
as victims of injustices
learned through self and other punishment
and economically dominant political control
by others,
heavily investing in self-victimizing images.

Then I try to see how this all feels
for their restorative justice and peace-invested patriarch,
advocating for healing motivational causes
and hurtful family-divesting behaviors.

Then I wonder
if I would prefer that Father
to a birthright to own me father
who believes it is his totalitarian sacred vocation
to control my soul’s polypathic directions
and my other sensory erections
and affections
and dis-affections for victimizing victimless-criminals

Which is, by accessible logic
and ecologic,
an oxymoron worthy of evaporation
like degenerative military-intelligence
and like gun-control,

As if the entire pathological point
of investing in hate- and fear-mongering
is something other than to control your situation,
which can only be sufficiently protected by owning
and transporting,
selling and buying and competitively trading,
and seriously investing in guns
as if the U.S. Constitution has nothing else to say
about healthy self-defense,
and growing well-being,
and unity,

Preferably through automated military-grade weapons
for arming your home-militarization school
of and for further ToughLove competitions
in Win-Lose (0)-Sum HardKnocks
especially for unredeemably hopeless criminals
who obviously don’t know Jesus,
much less an omnipresent regenerative Gaia Goddess
of ReStorative Justice and Matriotic Cosmological Peace.

Because you missed that half-day in school,
while out behind the woodshed,
bullied for cranky behavior
or deviant imagination
or verbal risk-taking
rather than being invited
to embrace MotherEarth’s natural-spiritual experiences
and co-investments
in Win-Win Golden Rules,
like water your wilting flowers
and not your exponentially prodigal weeds.

Or perhaps a bilateral Tipping Point resolution
reweaves
hidden in bicameral co-tensions,
intentions,
problems,
issues,
noticing basic ego-eco co-presence,
breathing in and up Yang,
out and down Yin speeds of bilateral restoration flow,
co-acclimating light
from Here’s phylogenic-interdependent fullness
through Now’s hologynic-emptiness…

Actually,
I usually get stuck on empathizing with the Prodigal Son
as victimized and enslaved through retributive punishments
for his victimless crimes,
other than against his own ego-health,
which isn’t wise
but not exactly cause to create a victim either.

I seldom move on to how grateful I would hope to be
to have back my brother who rejected us
back when he might have been more fun
to hang out with.

As for the ReStorative Justice Advocate
and Green CoOperative Farmer Father
for 7-Generations of Tribal Peace,
that co-empathic thought experiment
is way past my pay grade.

No One Heals Alone

All is quiet
as I exit through the Emergency Entrance
at the local hospital.

I notice a black T-shirt
with a pink ribbon logo
announcing in bold green script
“No one fights alone”

Due to context
I’m guessing we’re talking about fighting cancer;
harm taking us away
from health care giving and receiving
we would all prefer
while walking out of,
rather than lying in,
any Emergency Entrance.

But, I am a theologian
by training
and practical parenting experience,
so I’m thinking,
Why do we not also wear T-shirts
reminding each other
“No one loves alone”

Or even
“No one loves to fight alone”
or even just among ourselves,
within our own households
and habitats.

I ponder my way back to humble Yaris,
with automatic electronic nothing,
and on the radio I hear clusters of fighting themes:
mental illness
domestic violence
gun violence
automated weaponry
military fear and threat stress-testing, enduring, stretching, growing
hazing as baptism through alcohol
depression and repression and suppression
acclimation to chronic climates of terror
and quiet climates of ever more dissonance
lack of healing sleep
anger management
fear mismanagement
mutual assured destruction (MADness)
diplomacy by threat and RightWing arms sales
military industries
applied increasingly to personal and domestic disarray,
local terrors,
households
and habitats
going up in flames
flowing under floods…

No one fights alone
just as no one loves peace alone,
and health
and ecological wealth
and ego-resilience
and eco-systemic balance,
harmony,
synergy.

No one can sustain love
while violently fighting
just as no one can sustain this fight
for climates
and cultures
and ecologies
and theologies of health
by thinking we are
admirable
or somehow credible
or even possible
to sort through
and choose Love alone.

As I exit my car,
now home,
I think
My T-shirt would probably be too wordy,

No one loves to fight disease
and unease
alone.

Especially not God
or Allah
or Patriotic Loyalty to Earth
or wherever we find our
remember to Love messages.

All is quiet
as I enter our home.
I must be,
for this moment,
alone.

but also for praying he would continue in Presidential Office
with YHWH’s fertile blessings
of sacred ChristCentered Hearts and Minds,
economic and political leadership of divine Retributive Judgment.

Honey,
I think you’re about to lose them
with this punishing narrative.
Why don’t you just tell them he’s sorry
for loving Donald’s Mutual-Assured Destruction,
Lose ecologically now to Lose again economically later
verging off toward
Oops! I guess I blew-up and out the grandkids
without future healthy
cooperative
multiculturing generations
of most any species.

Most any, yes…
but human nature-spirits have already received
redundant fire and water and hurricane warnings,

to come in time for our grandkids,
and their probably not bothering with any kids,
and then possibly a faithful remnant
of their potential grandkids,

So I need to let them know

with retributive justice is JealousGod on their fixated minds
building toward revolutionary

and species-generalized holocaust.

without also scaring off their grand-kids

Yeah,
but wouldn’t want to scare off the fundamentalist
anti-intellectual great-great-great grandsons,
and further repressed
suppressed
depressed granddaughters,
anti-democratic
anti-egalitarian
anti-humane-divine nondualism,
anti-multicultural
dualLeft-darkRight
totalitarian bad-faith pathological remains
of a once great society.

By then
we’ll have this sacred species as EarthTribe Future investments down

of and for ReStorative Justice
and Global Green EarthTribe Peace,
through mutually assured health and safety
timeless and eternal love,

Not to mention the unlikely prospects
of restoring humane-divine love
through an entire global jihad
or HolyWar
or JustWar retributive punishment theory
for Fallen Natures

When each day begins
and each evening ends
knowing Earth is within our redemption intent,
our commitment to Sacred Earth’s restoring Grace
within ourselves,
within our families,
within our communities,
within our humane-divine

within Earth,
upon Earth,
around Earth,
through Earths emerging sacred climates
cosmology
theology
ethology,

Then those economic and political
and personal and sexual
and relational and intimate
and vulnerable co-redemptive intended activities and investments,
evolve co-empathic awarenesses,
grow moments of bilateral Grace consciousness
transpire to transubstantiate
occurring and re-occurring event patterns
and rhythm landscapes within
and climates without,
in-between these dawn and dusk sacred wonder events.

To do less,
to invest less than everything,
is to risk Win-Lose harm to oneself,
and to one’s sacred democratic cooperative trust
in truths restoring justice
over lies and errors disintegrating relationship,

To cooperate nondually more, so less dualistically interpreted divisions,
and dipolar, so less bipolar competitions,
and appositional, so less oppositional assumptions
between God’s HolySpirit
and MatrioticEarth’s Holonic Nature.

Judeo-Christian Creation Stories
are invitations toward restoration
of primal NatureSpirit Relationship;
not judgment against the too-secular, fallen, and unredeemed.

When our teachers teach other-phobia,
then we are listening and following
and too often voting for
false fake-evangelical prophets
of God as a Wanna-Be Totalitarian Fascist,

scientific deductive knowledge
both sacred ecology relevant
and issue moving
and sometimes tissue-grabbing
for covering tragic anti-creation nightmares
bringing saltwater tears of healing
for hungry eyes and ears
to avoid further angers and dualdark fears.

We emerge an intensely spiraling creation story
in polyphonic color
evoking awe and wonder,
fear-mongering pathologies
and yet also joy
for redistributing longing and belonging
and restoring responsibility
for divinely humane Therapeutic Stories.

This Universal Creation Story
is a dramatic tragic-comedy,
an opera of operations
and cooperations.

with five prior periods of EarthBound revolutionary extinctions,

have remained a wu-wei narrow-way

You spend too much time reading and thinking
and arguing
to let your spiritual emotions swell and grow love.

Instead,
pick up a small recycled brown paper bag
of healthy
fertile
organic mustard seeds.

Learn faith with them,
that together you might grow
to know
this radiant reign of God’s Eternal Light and NonDual Dark.

Plant them into Advent darkness,
care for them,
water them
and not the tarish tearing weeds
of envy and supremacy,
hypocrisy and punishing misjudgment,
superstition
and hope for antiEarth anti-logical magic,
nightmares and violence,
anger and fear-mongering,
Old Testament blood sacrifices
and enslavement to false fascist idols
as if these were large enough
to contain the wisdom of one regenerative mustard seed,
sprouting radiant love for God’s sun

Dear Siblings Three,

At least three of us four
have survived this first round
of sharing our seeing Reds
and our  feeling Blues.

At this point
I imagine our eldest sister
reading with interest,
and/or possibly contempt,
and holding all these things
in her heart and mind.

The other three of us,
two Blue,
elder Brother Red,
each have told our stories,
reviewed our positions
during this first year
of the Trump CEO
Public Sector Administration,
USA.

I did not find an explicitly stated value
or disvalue
shared by all three of us.

There are, of course,
several values and disvalues shared by the two Blues,
Kerry and me,
and two disvalues
shared by RedMike and BlueKerry
are loss of freedom
and loss of safety.
And, although I didn’t say so,
I would certainly put these two
squarely in my disvalues column
as well.

Integrity is a positive value
mentioned by both RedMike and BlueGerald, me.
While BlueKerry does not use the word
I know her well enough to appreciate
this also fits transparently within her values lens
just as venality and mendacious subterfuge
are disvalues
both Blue and Red CoHeld,
and yet too often targeted
by cash-fed multinational media.

Apparently
as we love integrity
we are also fascinated by its evil opposites,
like Lot’s wife
looking over her climate holocaust shoulder
when it would be way better for her health
to dwell on the PromisedLand in front of her.

Blue responses
emphasize health care giving
and sacred gift economy receiving,
restorative justice and peace,
and ecological education
as therapeutic values.

Mike’s Red response
emphasizes moral code,
law and order,
retributive justice
and defensive technologies and personnel
as more saliently held values.

Yet,
these are apparent differences of priority,
not necessarily oppositional Win-Lose differences.
Points of contrast invite comparison
and need not predict disloyalty of mutual incompatibility.

To my surprise,
and dismay,
I do see some points where active RedValues
seem to also be active BlueDisValues,
double-binding Win-Lose Boundary Issues:

RED / BLUE
Divine rulership-authority / degenerate monoculturing climates, cultures
Military strength / loss of global and national safety thru violence
Monocultural intent, monopolistic monotheism / sacred polyculturalism

As I look at these three,
they begin to look like three faces
of one tension
within a shared Sacred PolyPathic Intention:
Retributive blood justice through crusading JustWars
conjoining
Restorative EcoJustice through BiLateral PeaceMaking.
Old Testaments
within New Grace Contexts.

From a Red evangelical Christian frame,
this takes me back to Jesus Christ’s
prime Messianic message
and function
and purpose:
Jesus came to save this entire creolizing Earth
through Abba’s restorative grace economy,
baptism through living water and full enlightenment,
healthy light transubstantiating His Judaic Law and Order
retributive sacred justice through blood sacrifice Traditions,
through just-wars and OldSchool self-righteous jihads
and military might of Caesar’s commodifying Win-Lose coin,
colonizing violence all now washing away
by baptism of Messianic-Bodhisattva redemption,
polypathically sacred,
polyphonically sung and danced
by and through rivers of sacred world-citizen enlightenment,
bilaterally cooperative spiritual experience
of polyculturing Grace
for a world so loved
God created
to regenerate Christ’s EarthBound Eden,
perpetually reborning.

First Nation’s creolizing sacred healthy invitation,
multicultures of and for Earth gratitude,
is Second Constitution’s colonizing,
and King James Bible-rooted,
EnLightenment Intent,
away from monotheistic totalitarianism of Royal Rulership
in favor of polyphonic truths of grace
in democratically evolving cooperative trust,
