Healthy Attitudes

I suspect what most of us want from our families
and communities
has something to do with living as healthy as possible
for as long as possible,
sustainably,
not just through our own lifetimes
but throughout multigenerational lifelines
from past through future
health regenerators

These are families

breeding loyalty
and gratitude,
positive attitude
although our local Boards of Education

learning,
healing,

Dear Donald,

I heard it said
it is your position
that reducing carbon emissions
and other climate therapeutic investments
are not a healthy US priority.

I also heard
it is your position
that the federal Environmental Protection Agency
is redundant,
and therefore also not a climate pathology therapeutic resource
on your national priority list.

I also heard
that Puerto Rico
and Florida
and Texas
might have benefited from more environmental protection
from the climate pathologies
that you would re-invest in nonrenewable environmental hazards
like oil fields rather than polyculturing yields,
and nationalistic patriotism
rather than Sacred EarthMatriotism.

Isn’t that a bit like
encouraging arsonists to burn during growing droughts
while also closing down the local Fire Station,
and calling that conflagration
what you had in mind
and relentlessly promised
when you ran as if for better economic government
through active abuse
where once we tolerated mere neglect?

I realize you are not an advocate for universal health and climate care.
Still
it seems we might find some healthier direction
than anti-health care and climate death bed delivery.

We are trying to adjust to lowered political

and civic
and moral
and health
and environmental therapeutic care,
but your current dive
to find the most toxic bottom line possible
is breath-taking.

and egocentric developing language facts-Left Secular (0)Sum,
balanced together
also captured by WinWin Cooperative-Matriarchal Gaming Cultures
following Nutrition’s ReGenerative Flow.

might agree with my own growing appreciation
for Matriarchal Reparations.
It’s time, straight guys,
to return Earth to more Her/His
Yin/Yang
cooperative Tipping Point balance,
rather than perpetual patriarchal squabbling.

Outcomes Ms. Shiva prescribes,
with some Taoist-Zeroist embellishment
are as follows:

I recently heard some talk about United Nations structural reform.
At first,

Rivers of Degrading Memory

Once upon a time
I was merely prescient
in the genes and blood
and air and water
and other ingestions
of our ancestors.

Among these were Elders
who may have stopped along the banks
of the Connecticut and Hudson Rivers
to drink from their sacred streaming source
and fish
and camp under maples and oaks nearby.

When these elders come within prescient me
to see these same rivers now,
perhaps from nearly the same spot,
now an eight-lane concrete highway
for transporting faster capital-invested competitions
lacking sufficient slow river-time for healthy redevelopment,
together we hear and smell,
but dare not taste
nor feel compelled to feel
cool once-clear bathing and drinking water
as when we were here
back in the day
and nights of great river love
and life,
happiness and vocationing prosperity
with plenty of clean and delicious water
and fresh fragrantly invigorating breezes of quiet joy
with pine needles needless
under sometimes naked running feet.

But we,
my generation
and that before
and before
back discontinuously through industrializing
and commodifying
and commercializing
and capitalizing degenerations,
we are now trying to remind ourselves
that what we currently must not drink
or even taste,
probably don’t want to touch
much less smell
and even less actually jump into it
and all the broken glass
and rusted car parts
embedded in its toxic death bed,
this is what we must accept as our new normal.

This unraveling of my Elders’ rivers
to the point of toxic exhaustion
is my expected price of admission
to all my New England happy birthdays
for continuing prosperity
and freedom and dignity for all,
except the rivers
and the air
and those they feed,
and the pine needle kindling
that remembers our Elders to this day,
back when we were more cooperatively invested

Rather than compete for how rationally
