I often wake up to a day I dread
and fear to hear even more atrociously bad news,

But, I’m also afraid to sleep at night,
anxious and worried about our children’s drying up
and wasting further away prospects
for any future at all
as a humane cooperative developing species
rather than anthro-survivalist parasites

I did learn yesterday
that almost half of Republicans

are showing early signs of remorse,
of sorrow for your denial sins

of your own adolescent through maturation mental-spiritual health issues
and challenges

I am hoping,

grow in faith,
