The story of my unique biosystem
goes back,

through six degrees of separation,
each with its own dominant culture,
tincture,
color,
taste and feel.

Feedback loops began with rainbows
and tidal streams ebbing and flowing
and lunar
and solar cycles.

Looping back in spirals
of ecosystemic revolutions
in WinWin fractals and octaves,
of resilient color
and resonant sound,
despite apartheid evolutions
in Business As WinLose Usual.

In 1868
when my eight great grandparents
may have been children of slaves
and of slave owners
and were probably children scandalized by all the above,
James Clerk Maxwell
wrote a paper On Governors
before electricity
even had a name,
much less a governing harness
for commodifying light to see
ears to hear
Energy Democracy.

This seminal systems analysis
was about ancient,
but not timeless,
feedback loops of nature,
and perhaps cooperative ecosystemic spirits
and notnot WinWin open therapeutic feedback loops
and Business As Usual closed WinLose thermodynamic loops
for regulating normal
EcoPower Over exterior climates

my sixty four root tendrils
were almost certainly memories

Weekday Alarm

I am anxious
as my 5:30 beeping alarm
grows defiantly louder,
reminding me of surreal difference
between asleep, longing for better days awake,
and,
now awake,
longing for more sleep
struggling toward alarming predawn buttons
to release from this first crisis
for depressing life’s day-rousing alarms.

I wish for a more therapeutic,
more leisurely,
more retiring way to awake,
if I truly must.

Nearby,
my son who cannot speak
or walk,
but hears just fine,
sleeps on.
Eyes closed.
Dimple mischievously appearing in full moon’s light.

What could be his difference
between light unconsciousness of competing spoken day
and dark consciousness of cooperating listening night?

And is this so very different
from vast humane majorities of nations,
who speak too much by day to listen
and listen too briefly at night
to speak of dreams we might share
arising once again together
toward depressing buttons of despair
for this another alarming Earth Day.

This Earth day
with too many speaking half asleep
to future invitations;
Earth nights
listening back to this internal nap half awakened
by past convocations
of memory as light
forgetfulness through therapeutic dark night.

My muted son,
though hardly silent,
as he can be a loud red-charging bull
yet in a peaceful playful warrior way
to those who believe we know
his inside sleep
showing through his outside wake
to share Earth’s daytime communion.

He and I
are equally invisible
indivisible
undiscriminated by night
and, I suppose,
both using light
to brighten differences
between inside me
and outside not yet,
not still
double-bound somehow
like outside views
impossible without inside longings
to remember our shared inside-outside intentions.

Wishes and fears,
hopes and angers,
loves and hates unraveling by predative day
arisen from our warm dry beds
of praying affluence.

Longings and belongings,
seductions and reductions,
inductions and deductions,
terrible investments and terrific divestments
calculated reweavings by dualdark night
within our Earthly rest
from fully individuating difference.

The alarm still echoes
through my half awake ears
as I stumble before dawn’s light
toward remembering how to become an enabling parent
taught by disabling children of love.
Recalled to how we might awake to love each other more
before this night’s rest reweaving Paradise.

I am anxious
as I depress my alarming button,
a toggle switch icon
transitioning anxieties of sleep
through opportunities of life together
awake.

My son turns over
toward his wall of darkening comfort
as he prepares to dream
our Therapeutic Warrior songs
and dances
once again.
His prayers rise dimpled within me.

I know something about being a GLBT Ginger,

and die
due to crippling overpopulation
of rabid military industrial over-investments in,
and deficit spending on,
ever more threats of death and dying.

2. It’s OK to mention, briefly, in passing,
that your positions are Certified ProPolycultural Life Outcome Producers
consuming what we really want for change,
your PositivEnergy-Equity positions
toward growing optimal multicultural health
together, more bicamerally.

3. Don’t just tell us you are anti-death
for unborn future generations.
Of course you are.
This should go without saying
because we all are pro healthy life
except for a frantic few favoring more monoculturing pathologies

America First
is a RightWing monocultural intention
currently championed by Trumpians
and Republican Aristocracy of Evangelism
Tea Partiers,
by xenophobic paranoids
and sociopathic fascists,
by the economically blind
deaf

just the opposite of dumb,
yet not cooperatively mindful either
of our global polycultural DNA roots
with universal democratic intent
toward international Golden Rules.

First,
“America” does not equal USA.
And America is even more than just North America,
including Central America,
now framed by a RightWing mental-spiritual Wall
against Mexico,
and, as for South America,
as any good Republican Catholic
(which may be a political-religious oxymoron)
or Protestant Evangelical
(which may also be a BadNews/GoodNews oxymoron)
will quickly remind us,
is the Wildly Wrong Hemisphere,
suspiciously socialist,
spiritually ambivalent,
even for a God
who was reputed to love
the entire Earth, equitably,
and is HimHerSelf more of a cooperativist,
in HisHer radically magnanimous love,
than an isolationist,

God does not keep all the best toys
for those awaiting
our long promised,
yet perpetually delayed,
Rapture.

This anciently felt Win-Win Rapture itself
has become more of a monocultural Win-Lose harvest
of pro-life WhiteHat born-agains
who define pro-life quite narrowly
to advocating for yet unborn human life
at risk of abortion,
without mentioning other
politically
and socially
and ecologically
and economically climatic abortions
on their peculiarly NonRapturous Way.

Also at risk of AmericaFirst monoculturalism,
which confines promised Rapture of Earth’s economy
to the competitive supremacy
of U.S. Trumpian BusinessAsUsual Elites,
the big and fat OnePercent
of our global colonizing US wealthy persons,
investing heavily in AmericaFirst policies,
which,
if more honest,
would be called
Top 1% of U.S. First and Last
PatrioticWinners v MatrioticLosers.

AmericaFirst
is a sugar-sweet way of saying
“The rest of y’all don’t matter.”

This is not the long promised Christian Rapture
of strong and healthy polyculturing democracy
as might possibly have been hoped for
by Constitution signing ForeFathers
born of more ecologically sound ForeMothers,
perennial gardeners and organic farmers
who were not, themselves,
particularly enamored of the top aristocratic OnePercent
in their 99% American nation-building immigrant time.

AmericaFirst
like all monocultural elitist intentions
and political investments,
forgets that economic and political walls,
once built,
work both ways,
and work against polycultural health
of economies
and political democracy of energy,
and positive nutrition ourselves,
ecology of global health care giving
and good Rapturous ecstatic climate receiving,
even for the Elite 1% of U.S. aristocracy,
and their potential 7th Generation grandchildren.

AmericaFirst
is aggressively rooted
in an inhumane replacement
of sacred restorative healing,
democracy’s inclusive vocation
of One Nation UNDER a Loving God,
within a LivingGod,
of and for a Positive Healthy PolyCulturing-Outcome God,

Setting aside secularized retributive justice models,
rooted more in God’s divinely-inspired Anger
as also Wrath against those who are too tolerant
of death
for Earth’s NonElite future generations
than actively pro-life of Earth
as iconic of all HerHis sacred forms
and flowing healthywealthy functions
toward regenerating Sacred EarthFirst.

We have no Christian-Republican Rapture on its way
if and when AmericaFirst finally arrives,
aborted from Earth’s diverse sacred natures
and cultures
and spirits
and dead on distinctly non-rapturous
anti-conservative of life arrival.

This is not just about climate change;
this AmericaFirst fake-rapture threat
predicts a future of ongoing
degenerative
climate pathology.

AmericaFirst is a punishing pathology
against all;
including the Elite U.S. OnePercent.

According to the Institute for Policy Studies,
already the twenty wealthiest U.S. citizens
have slightly more wealth to share among themselves
than do the lower 50% of U.S. residents,
who,
by the political way,
live disproportionately in RedStates
currently under advancing assault
by hurricanes and floods,
fires and tornadoes,
drought and shrinking aquifers,
chemically saturated rivers
and increasingly barren soil
and uprising polluted oceans.

But, hey,
what the self-inflicted hell;
AmericaFirst, right?
Never mind about Old School
restorative justice and peace,
nutritional polyculturing outcomes,
pro-sacred life
rather than limited to suboptimizing
anti-secularized death,
while supposedly worshipping a God
of EarthCreation and Love.

These are outmoded democratic ideals
for a healthy multicultural environment,
EarthFirst economy
and political subclimates.
And who retains any good faith
in such liberating,
but sadly fading,
