Praising EcoFeminist Climates

Economically comfortable civilians,
without militarized propaganda indoctrination,
without physical neglect or abuse experience,
without religious blame and shame intimidation,
may sustainably recognize themselves as safe,
while stressed about why they do not matter,
do not feel needed
or even uniquely loved and wanted.

We are not born this way.
When an infant
receives no environmental cues
providing chronic stress
about “Am I safe?”
then the right-brain’s, “Do I matter?”
remains dormant,
unquestioned
within early co-empathic win/win default.

The social
and political
and economic question of interdependent value
is assumed to be Positive
when the left-brain is resiliently satisfied
about ego-safety,
thrivability for the foreseeable future
rooted in rapidly growing environmental nutrition experience;
ecologically healthy,
more than pathological,
climates of enculturation.

I have learned,
especially during my win/lose adolescent exploration years,
but not only then,
that meeting all criteria for physical safety
speaks to the Negatives healthy mindbodies must avoid,
toxicities endemic to social-political risks
of left-brain dominant intelligence,
but only implicitly hints at co-arising dipolarities
of and for our interdependent wealth healthy identity
through win/win communication,
intersectional effectiveness,
sacred meaning and spiraling vocation,
secular purpose and cooperative avocation.

The feminist,
knowing s/he is against patriarchy
and concomitant monocultural corporatism,
monopolistic commodification of social values,
colonizing win/lose hyperactive intent
rooted in supremacist
safe and secure sense of entitlement,
yet not able to articulate what s/he is for,
is a good example
of one who believes s/he could be safe
on a right-brain prominently interdependent
win/win matriarchal Earth,
but has no active enculturation
to thereby uncover egoleft-ecoright
health-wealth interdependent meaning.

Going back to my original list
of environmental hazards to avoid
for left-brain sustainable safety security,
absence of militarized lose/lose
cognitive/emotive co-arising complex chaos
does not explicitly invite peaceful win/win compassionate communication,
communion,
community.

Avoiding physical neglect and abuse is necessary,
but not at all sufficient,
to sustain emotional appreciation and active support
through healthy wealth
of cooperative inter-relational experiences,
recreative joy and profoundly creative celebration,
like making robust resonant harmonies
music,
regenerating music’s internally felt dance,
not only solo,
but with a partner,
within a family,
a community of peers,
a shared globally mediated stage
of song and dance
resistance and celebration
of shared compassion.

Avoiding religious blame and shame games
is not sufficient
to discover natural/spiritual nondualistic win/win
compassion games
defining wealth as refining health,
uncovering right-brain resonance
by discovering left-brain resilience,
explicating opportunity for meaning
without implicating great risk of unsafe egocentric purpose,
informing yang/yin robust intersectionality
without exflowing left or right mindbody egalitarian intelligence.

It remains easier to let go of win/lose patriarchal cultures
as we become more adept
with grabbing hold of win/win ecofeminist climates.

Climate Rise Up

As I write this, thousands of people are gathering to listen with each other, to sing, perhaps to dance more than walk in striking solidarity for climate health. I have been thinking of this moment, this event, this day, this strike on this sacred Earth all week.  And, each time this gathering comes to mind, so does Cassandra Batie and Jennifer Decilveo’s 2016 anthem, “Rise Up.”

This variation on Batie and Decilveo’s lyrics I sing in tears of joy and deep sorrow with those who are on their way, drawing near toward the sound and sight of each others’ voices.  I would love to join you in person, but old bones and heart and mind have learned that my climate anxiety flares into manic hope at such events, and then I pay the suicidal ideation price on my way home, feeling alone, hopeless.

I believe for every face and voice seen and heard at a Climate Strike gathering around the world today, there is at least another, and probably several others, with you in swelling heart, in passionate mind, in loving soul, but, like me, have learned that our Great Transition role, however resonant, will best remain resilient as we Rise Up on our front porches and back yards, in our forests and ocean shores, on our rivers and lakes, to sing to Earth’s tired trees, to dance to aching birdsong, to remember when we were young, more hopeful, more proud of what we can yet accomplish within Earth’s sacred solidarity.

Humbled now, this is dedicated to those more visible, to know we are millions already belonging together within this shared Great Transition, Great Turning, Great Reweaving with you; and with gratitude to Cassandra Batie and Jennifer Decilveo for Rise Up, embodied and well-sung hope.

I have been your living Earth;
I will live and die through you.

I will be your blood born sap;
You will live and die with me.

This Great Transition
into owning competitive responsibility
for climates of pathology and health,
inward and outward,
composed of all past energies,
small co-arising transitions
reweavings
regenerations
now contained in Earth’s soil,
Her rebirthing baptismal waters,
Her buoyant air,
Her fertile winds
and purging fires.

Earth’s broken down
and tired
of living love
on this unmerry-go-round,

And I can’t see Her lovers
but I hear life in you
so we gon’ rise Earth up,

Green Sanctuary Propositions

Who are you most longing to become?

How we answer this is different for an ancient rooted tree
than for a recent immigrant
searching for a niche of stable self-sufficiency.

Who we already have become together
feels more important to thriving groves of WiseElders
than to adolescent immigrants
actively learning creolizing bilingual skills
still coming together for survival.

So too, offering Sanctuary,
becoming Sanctuary,
inviting Sanctuary,
is rooted in Green complex nutrients
for feeding
and warm wet watering
whispering easier
cozier
more accessible nutrients
for everyone–
but especially appreciated
by more recent emigrants
to a new garden of hospitality,
of multicultural cooperation,
of shared cooperative residence
and patterns of safe,
sometimes exciting, new transport
toward healthiest wealth.

A gardener’s intent
to both offer and share sanctuary
may provoke well-nurtured gratitude
in a recent annual immigrant,
but a more sleepy and self-satisfied entitlement
in mature seniority of perennials,

Yet, primordially feeling and speaking,
we are all immigrants newly becoming together
with each new dawn,
and determined to cooperatively rest
in grateful dreams
with each renewing dusk.

Who are we most belonging
by becoming Green Sanctuary
together?

Some guilds of mutual interest
and investment
invite growing a cooperative sanctuary for food,

Other teams choose cooperatively owned and managed shelter,
gardens,
farms,
transporting cars and trucks
and bikes and horses,

Others focus on cooperatively owned and managed soil,
observing that democratically co-invested compost,
like capital,
recalls healthy savings in a nutritional bank
for cooperative food constituents.

And so it went,
whether Republican or Democrat,
Libertarian or Green,
Who we want to become together
is more cooperatively resilient,
more robustly compassionate
and co-empowering,
so less aloof
alone
smug and self-satisfied
about our competitive win/lose economic
and partisan histories of colonization;

When, truth become remembered,
we are all reborn naked
and needy
immigrants.

Greatest Story Never Told

This story remains unfinished
as do all the best tales told.
Yet I must warn you
it has a happy ending,
not dystopian,
although not a finished
political utopia,
Ever After LoveLife.

Where this story begins
remains a mystery,
like a definition for “Tao”
more obscure than refining Yang
with Yin sublime co-relationship,

Which is, and is not,
equivalent with white and black,
and all curious colors in-between
masculine and feminist,
left-brain dominant strength
and right-brain prominent flow;
liberties egalitarian and freedoms interdependent,
powers and passions,
climates and cultures,
natures and nurtures
secular and sacred,
ego- and eco-systemic
wealth as health,
love as life…

I believe
somehow
this unfinished end
revisits our Green Sanctuary origins,
Earth as Eden,
Humane life as divine love
where Gaia danced with interior/exterior humane voices
long before humanity was a tremor in Her womb
of left-brain dominant verbal becoming retold history.

Whether such a vast stage of DNA origin,
hoary with memoried and imagined Time,
affluently historical
and effluently cultural,
this is,
or hopes to one day become,
The Greatest Story Not Ever Told,
if only because we have been so Business As Usual
win-losing recycling spirals
conjoining Alphas and Omegas,
great transitional beginnings
with endings not yet visible,
or even vicariously heard,

Not ever completing
all Win/Win interdependent co-relationships
TaoTime invites
offers
with compassion,
gratitude,
curious courage,
transparent vulnerability.

But, you were asking about New London
in particular place and time,
a Connecticut town of about 30,000,
home of the Coast Guard
and Pfizer
and a Unitarian-Universalist Center
everybody knows as All Souls
and most every multicultural body repeats
their logo,
“Where all Souls are welcome.”

Strangely enough
I think the GrantWriter
was from out of town,
without any long-term relationships in New London
government
or business
or our eclectic religious sector.

The GrantWriter:

Such profound disconnection
feels uncomfortable
discomforting
not comfitting
inappropriate
for growing deep and wide compassion roots.

So, I did what I do,
I wrote an unfinishable proposal
about how to grow a resiliently healthy love life
in and with and for New London,
about why we each and all need a new win/win cooperative theory
and practice
for regenerative climate development;
so also against degenerative overheated
and frozen anti-health development.

Too much of my own learning experience
emphasized the sterile science
and dyspeptic un-communioned arts
of grief about lose/lose monoculturing climate terror trends,

So what would the opposite polycultural outcomes
of such environmental disaster feel like?
Look like?
Taste like?
Sound like?

How would we reattach to sacred gratitude
as a win/win species?
Now living in side-by-side autocratic/democratic silo communities
wrestling with win/lose economic capital-hoarding competition models
for natural and spiritual and financial survival.

Where are our active gratitude models
for win/win healthy wealth optimization?

One day
listening to Pamela Sparr,
not New London talent,
but encountered in an All Souls reading circle book,
Justice On Earth,
we cooperatively evolved five steps
Out of Our Silos and Selves:

1) Propose a bolder win/win,
left/right,
ego/eco-balancing
prophetic resilient image
of a mutually compassionate ecopolitics.

2) Develop communally incarnated courage
multicultural curiosity
capacity to listen
naturally left and spiritually right
ego-eco-theo-logically taoistic nutritional.

3) Look for win/win gratitude experiences
outside our side by side religious sanctuaries
and inside organic health farms
of resiliently ego-masculine
resonantly eco-feminist communication.

4) Engage with radical outdoor Earth voices
for interdependent co-passion
building up and out
and down and in
multicultural communion.

5) Increase win/win
polycultural gratitude
for health/wealth inspired
co-refining secular/sacred experience
of cognitive/emotive
culture/climate transformation.

Bigger v Deeper Egos

The belief that we become healthier,
healed,
redeemed
through commitment to some power
bigger and higher than just ourselves
follows left-brain dominant teaching,
and appeals to patriarchal thirsts
for robust ego empowerment.

Right-brain prominent feelings
do not disagree with,
dissonantly conflict with,
this bigness metaphor
but monotheistic universalism is not right-brain resonant,
while depth is everything
everywhere
every interconnected potential Time
of radically profound interdependent Identity.

Ego identity
feels emerging from
and returning to
deep ecosystemic nutritional streams
of curiously submerged becoming
co-passionate together
as facets of one boundless
unfathomed ZeroZone
double-bound
bilateral win/win becoming whole
holy
holonic
synergetic
integral.

Big and from-on-high colonization
is never historically resilient,
is always unsustainable,
except when intended
and multiculturally experienced as creolization,
benign largess, invitation
from deep compassionate pockets
of resonantly sacred generosity.

Left-brain either-or thinking
about how to be part of bigger
universally monotheistic Power
can become confluent with right-brain both-and feeling
becoming more deeply etched
ego-identified faith in action
within eco-individuating awareness
of nature’s interaction,
deeply spiritual compassion.

Where left-brain egos long to be part of a higher power,
right-brain win/win prime
ego/eco-relationality
belongs immersed in reconnecting deeper co-passioning rivers
of healthy energy streams
flowing up from enlightening dual-dark Source,
sacred resources,
silent webs of becoming
deep wells of resilient resonant belonging.

Resonant Silence

Secular silence,
still as death.
Sacred silence,
subtle sounds of Earth’s synergy

And what vast sounds,
unheard voices,
unloved songs,
unjustified dances,
unpeaced anthems,
unbeautified pose of light
may lie in waiting silence
between invitation
and deadening declaration?

Invasions of deadly silent waiting,
Sublimations of lively unvoiced surrender
into softbound volumes,
listening
for this great divide to speak
between deeply absorbed secularity
immanently transcendent wise flying harmonies
of sequestered
sanctuary silence.

Silent,
like snow,
like sleet,
like sobriety,
not univocal;
not yet profoundly voiced.

Talk of the Town

Luther Vandross recorded a song
that says something like
“We had the best love around…
We were the talk of the town.”

I can’t think of the last time
a greatly famous and resilient love affair
was the talk of even TinselTown;
and certainly not New York,…
maybe Paris?
Hong Kong?
Too Western commercialized, I fear;

Shoot em up
Mow em down

I would love to see and hear the day
I open up my YahooNews
and every viral video window is about resilient compassion,

How passionately the Trump family
comports their compassion together,
transparent and vulnerable,
courageous and curious,
intent on serving Earth’s subclimates
seeking resilient health empowerment.

Maybe a side bar
about how the Pelosi and Trump extended multicultural kin
hang out,
karaoke and canoe together,
share gardening tools,
tell each other scary climate holocaust stories
while circled around a bonfire of un-vanities,
comforted by twinkling stars
and a predictably waning and waxing ecology
of moon enlightenment.

Jesus said,
or maybe it was Paul,
but some patriarchal and powerful
and passionate person,
That followers of Christ’s messianic redemptive way
truth
life,
would be known by their amazing talk
of the town, counter-monocultural,
love for each other,
and Earth’s natural/spiritual beauty.

So, maybe Mahatma Gandhi was right,
alternative compassionate win/win Christian community
is a fine non-violent communication
compassionate idea,
messianically bodhisattva suffering servant designed,
but not yet fully implemented,

Or at least not enough
to fill all these little YahooNews viral windows
with visions of great loves,
like Superman and Lois Lane
or maybe even Barack and Michele
and their kids,
and their kids,
and their health wealthy kids.

It would be grand
to share a planet
with others addicted only to great miulticultural love stories
of communion,
epic tales of cooperative political economies,
co-messiahs of healthy wealth
offering each other a full-bodied minded polypathic hug
rather than the mistrusting
right hand dominant shake up
and shake down
of competitive capitalistic
win/lose monopolistic
gamesmanship.

I long for a compassionate multi-pathic EarthTribe
including Christian evangelists
for God’s creative Kingdom at left
and right co-passionate hand,

And Islamic FatherSun benevolently hospitable
and grateful
fundamentalists
for radical global Win/Win communion economies
built out of mutual cooperative trust
and not national competitive narcissism
in mutual disinterest
and denialism
and nihilism,
and secular-Earth/sacred-Heaven dualism.

Capitalism
begets colonialism,
not mutually cooperative investment
in health
and wealthy creolizing beauty hugs.

Commodification of Earth
begets further mistrusting handshakes,
automated mass shootings
of potentially viral health allies,
great loves,

As colonial win/lose evolution models
develop inevitable lose/lose climate run down
run away
get the hell out of here pathologies
of depression and despair,
great longing for epic EarthLovers to return
becomes the talk of our global village,
turning Left interdependent side up
and Right fragmenting national egotism’s autonomy down

Probably right after singing Imagine
together
a world committed to restoring peace
and great international epic EarthLove stories,
mutual communion passions
to never again think of health vocations
as other than wealth of global village purpose

Whether the talk of my town

or merely the shadow of a wistful smile

Restoring EarthJustice

I have been reading Jennifer Nordstrom’s contributions
to the resilient Green Sanctuary,
a collaboratory production
giving birth to “Justice On Earth”–
which seems quite different than Donald Trump’s
view of how to rebirth America’s former patriarchal colonizing greatness,
yet again.

“Justice On Earth”
is more about restoring justice on Earth,
improving our ego-and eco-therapeutic healthy form
and flow,
multiculturally ubiquitous principles of energy democracy
and yet unitarian ecofeminist co-invested
in deep and wide-learning Golden win/win Rules,
truths of intersectional
interdependent
living organic webs
optimizing health/wealth nondualistic co-arising outcomes
Left-universal egalitarian rights
speaking and listening nicely with
Right-unitarian integrity responsibilities.

Anyway,
I’ve had trouble getting through page three.

I did sail through the five page Introduction
broght with polyculturing communication wisdom
by Manish
Mishra-
Marzetti,
who sounds like patriarchal poetry,
or maybe a folk song.

Jennifer Nordstrom’s pace
is more feminist race
toward interdependent therapeutic EarthWombs
of water-bearing green sanctuary rivers
for a more first through last gasp life.

She wants her readers to know
we are about to be flanked
by Unitarian Right-hemisphere
and Universalist Left-hemisphere dominant
writers articulating theoretical abstractions
with multicultural creolizing intersectionality,
as taught, more and less integrally,
by Kimberle Williams Crenshaw.

Intersectionality
is to interdependent open-systemic webs of organic life experience
as environmental green-restorative sanctuary justice
invites each of us to conjoin in freedom
of multicultural integrity
compassion,
uniting explicitly sacred and secular
spiritual and natural
metaphysical research
as perennially pursuied
by our 0-soul Holonic CoRedemptive Spirit.

Green Sanctuary peace
can universally broaden Left-hemisphere Yang dominance
and deepen Right-hemisphere yin resonance
polyphonic theory, more left-languaged polypathic communication,
to produce polycultural outcome best practice stories,
more of a right-hemisphere song and dance
intersectional-nutritional therapeutic communication

In which Justice on Earth
is most resiliently measured

I Have Heard

I have heard it said,
Love your neighbor as yourself.

I listen with you
to how our neighbors become part of us
and not,
and how this feels healthy

for you
and my potentially co-empathic neighbors.

I hear this fear.
But, for me,
better red balances with blue-green Earth
to regenerate ultra-nonviolent violet
regenerations of perennial healthy seasons
under kind and gentle moon light.

Be careful of which inside voices
I choose to listen to.

And, I’ve heard it said,
Regardless of peaceful
aggressive
violent
assertive
appreciative
attractive
connected mixed up feelings,
be quick to notice
label
commodify
then move on
back into detached zero-zone quietude,
silence
iron-willed walled internal peace = probably not red-hate active rage,
however short-lived
upon opening new 2020 eyes.

You say to me,
Notice with active appreciation
our flow of right-brain potential treasure,

Golden Rule and Ratio shadows
in 4-dimensional prime-attachment RealTime
and sinister dualdark ego-less
disembodied soul shadows
teaching helpless lose/lose tragedy trajectories
of insufficient time to win/win heal,

in timelessly re-connecting
EarthHealth right-hemisphere sweet spot

Of healthy multicultural communication
cooperatives overpowering competitives,
ecofeminist progressives
inviting patriarchal green reborn conservationists
for and of EarthJustice
liberally regenerative
DNA connections
and spacetime interwoven re-connections

Noticed
appreciated
absorbed
climaxed
creolized
transubstantiated
wondered
awed,
before and after moving on
to the next uniting
inviting universe of felt thought
curiously and courageously flowing
further integral holonic left/right consciousness
of health as wealth
secular as also sacred potential
ecology/theology synergetic integrity

healthy trust and unhealthy mistrust,
