LightSpeed of Communion

I intended to say
when I was young
each day felt too slowly incremental
toward my generation’s time in Earth’s wiser sun,

But my ancient extended hand
keeps writing “exponential”
while incremental
paradox climates of Boomer
boring catastrophic dominance
over shadows summer’s equinox of burning
toxic sun.

I pretend to hope and think
I
and my generation
and my local community
could,
and even should,
invite Earth’s incremental exception,
a golden holiday
within sad degenerative climate history.

But my ancient retreading feet
keep reaching for an internal climate of acceptance
where no exception
could ever think or feel
interdependently left against right
relation.

Incremental eco-unlogical exceptions
to sacred business as everyday win/win left usual
in maturing might is more right
for youth’s wealthy individuation,

Where exponential future acceptance
invites positive climate deviance
in right’s past transgenerative roots,
meditative communal branches,
healthy flowering fluent seeds
of communication

Slowly emerging
through incremental wealth exceptions
to disempowering climates
introducing global experiential eco-village acceptance
for Earth’s most patriotic health empowerment.

Playing Without Weapons

She played her mysterious saxophone
as if we could be together alone
in concert halls
and Republican
and Green Democratic balls,
behind
and in front of
magisterial boundary walls.

She brought in a few million dollars
from quiet
more sedate
enraptured listening fans

Before her critics
complained She takes no risks,
no dissonance dare pass her wet vibrating reed.
Hopelessly romantic,
Without a hint of unpredictability.
Too many sustained wooden notes!

She is to saxophone performance
as communion
and compassionate communication
are to tiresomely pedantic religious orthodoxy,
behind
and in front of
multiculturing experiential walls.

About half a billion well-voiced dollars later,
She thought it time to respond
from a patriarchal position of musing strength.

“I invite those who don’t like my ecofeminist natural music
to not listen with such obviously desperate disappointment.
Instead
make your own muse
on your own performing saxophone
or flute,
Your own drum of choice.
Become wildly successful
with your own well-tooled, but unweaponed, message.
Make tons of fan co-invested money.”

“And, when you do,
I am sure I will have a chance to listen mindfully with you.
And, I hope I will become greatly amazed
with spatial wonder
and timeless awe.”

to raptly listen
and write your superlative review,
to become your greatest co-empathic fan.”

“Sadly,
until that great gettin-up morning,
I will continue playing my best music alone,
and hope you will now know

to become your John the Baptist,
in faith waiting for your richer Messiah tunes
of even greater
wealthier
healthier rapture.”

Migrant Souls

I currently conjoin with AllSouls,
a sacred green communion of saints
and sometimes sinners.

A few live together,
couples,
extending families
reaching multiculturally out
through AllSoul roots
regenerating pasts,
transforming future generations
now repressed by fear of global climate pathology
as thick and toxic
as lose/lose ecopolitical nihilistic soup,
thin survivalist Rapture-gruel,
paranoid hope in Hail Mary magic.

Most Souls live apart
but actively search for significant others
from within communal enculturing walls,
this Green Sanctuary
of compassionate win/win hope.

Some find just one significant spiritual/natural nondualistic Other.
Others find more.
A few have, to date, found none
within
because already over-invested,
or just right and left infested,
in Souls without this Green Sanctuary cooperative
of climate health communities.

We share an interdependent norm
inviting personal restraint
against choosing too many Significant Others,
lest their significance to you
dissipate into complex insignificance,
chaotic lack of forward co-passions,
over-scheduled communion communication events,
constant sacred/secular communal celebrations
of nonduaistic dual muses,
constantly talking and listening to insiderunonvoices

While outside significant other voices
continue Earth’s seasonal celebrations
without our even AllSouls noticing
appreciating
inviting
hosting
serving Significant OtherSouls.

This year
we are planning to rebuild our Green Sanctuary.
During this reconstruction time,
somewhere between forty years
and forty days,
we will become a migrant people again,
seeking returns to our multicultural communion roots.

Some Souls will stay with AME cousins.
Some will hang out in Green Synagogues
and Temples
and Mosques
and Native FireCircles.

A few,
more prophetically inclined,
will revisist uncomfortable left-brain dominant Fundamentalists
who barely trust even God to Father
an understudied and unserved Goddess EarthMother.

Evangelists still claiming God cannot be both transcendently omnipotent
unchanging Yang
and yet intimately fluid ecofeminist omnipresent
compassionate yinternal Holonic Spirit
of left with right brain interdependent sacred win/win Souls
for healing growing left-brain climate pathological runawayvoices,

Glutted with punishing trends,
sins of power-lust Fathers
inflicting absence of sacred significant Other
future compassionate mothers and dads
restoring great-grandchildren health,
failing to thrive
as truly Christian communions,
Souls of and for rapturous Green Compassion.

During this multicultural migrant Time,
we will regather on Sunday afternoons
to plan how we will interfaith heal our multiculturing divisions
to restore our polypathic multiplications
of healthy watered fish
and wealthy slow-raising bread
kneading and healing past absence
of significant Other green commmunions
with active win/win designs for personal
familial
communal
local subclimates of ego/ecotherapeutic
global AllSoul Sanctuary,

Freshly returned
from migrant communions
with our interfaith healthy
and significant OtherSouls.

Healthy Arts

A sometimes Yin
sometimes Yang
climate health advocate,
reading Thich Nhat Hanh,
unlyrically speaking of the Arts,
Muses of Communication,
creating resiliently wealthy Community,

S/he warmly considers
Why is such a simple book
so difficult to remember,
and breathfully incarnate?
Soaring through each chapter
for the third time
in less than an historic decade,

She notices
before “Art of Communicating”
Thich Nhat Hanh wrote
Science of “Fear.”

Fears about courageously communicating
even within our left and curious right hemispheres
about either/or
thought v feeling
dominating Western sciences
for dualistic cognitive nature v emotive spirit research
overpowering both/and Eastern acts of compassion,
compression
expansion

S/he holds these sacred communion keys
close within his vest,
listening for peaceful control
of that which leaves her
listening impassioned nest.

She speaks harmonic mantras
for love of understanding
when suffering arises
so too do fear
and stressed out waiting ominous boredom,
without nurtured lives of courage
climate planning.

Despite lapse of peaceful memory,
s/he’s more mindful now of vocational communions
in global interweaving communities
continuing resilient international health communication

When s/he practices
zen re-reads
time re-practices
curious compassions
overwhelming Western fear-filled praxis.

Unfinished Exodus

As Exodus tells his story,
Moses was compelled by God
and then invited,
commissioned by inside/outside Voice,
and bv voices of Israel’s extended people
to lead them through forty desert years
of sometimes nomadic wins
and mostly immigrating losses
in a competitively shared wilderness.

Then,
just as they approached the Promised Land’s border,
now matured
multigenerationally seasoned
regeneratively prepared for entry
into this great Middle Eastern creolization journey
in-between Earth’s secular/sacred history
of multicultural peace-making,
win/win environmental envisioning
and compassionate planning
and cooperative implementation,

Just as Moses could climb a sacred yang mountain
and look across rich heavenly green Promise
in Yahweh’s chosen yin valley
of profoundly interdependent
complexly transcendent
co-presence,

Moses suddenly understood right then
right there,
he would die before he could live
among those who would cross over
to complete this epic historic pilgrimage
toward compassionate climate of Promise,
both secular and sacred majesty,
patriotic epiphany
of resilient
multiculturing
healthy demo/theo-cracy.

I see our post-millennial Boomer regenerative process
restoratively wandering through this win/lose forty year
post-industrial wilderness
toward epic climate pollution risks
and monocultural loss
for polycultural wins
of ego-left/eco-right opportunity.

Here,
with now,
on this very cusp of 2020 robust revision,
I know we will not live
to see health optimizing
resilient Promised land and waters,

Although I have lived and loved to locally
and globally,
personally
and politically,
ecologically
and economically long to grow
together
migrant green integrity.

And my autonomous left hemisphere feels disappointed
sad
unfairly deprived about this unfinished migration,
Frustrated because cooperative liberal love,
active compassion,
is so obviously healthier for all travelers riding Earth,
wealthier than competitive fragmenting mistrust,
conserving climatic rage
about our globally
and locally unfinished industrial business.

At the same time
my dipolar interdependent right hemisphere
remains timelessly silent
on topics of ego-left mortality.

S/he may not distinguish
between first yang-patriarchal inhale
and last yin-matriarchal exhale
because this Zen ZeroSoul,
this Holy Nature/Spirit
is one
with that of Moses,

With all Messianic pilgrims,
leaders,
facilitators,
mediators,
With all bodhisattva peace mentors,
With restorative peace and justice integrity Advocates,
wandering a post-industrial green wilderness.

Polypathic Moses
of Earth’s great exodus Rapture
into unfinished healthier life
wealthier transformational business
of regenerating Promise,
for transgenerating lands and waters,
mountains and river-valleys,
mortally unfinished transcendent Eminence
and immortally interdependent Imminence,
Yang universal being with Yintegral uniting
resilient becoming
yet unfinished Exodus
into climatic healthy Promise.

Rejoining Work With Play

Dividing work from play,
like noting night not day,
is useful in a left brain dominant way
yet not so good
in right and left to-gathering
communicating say.

In my most real
and sacred trust right mind
no profound difference I find,
not even any healthy reason to distinguish
secular and physical work
from sacred mental play,
cooperative investment
from perpetuating multicultural empowerment,
communicating humors, dark and light,
virtuous polypathic and polyphonic
reiterative exchange loops,
harmonious circles,
seasons of processing health
producing nutritious wealth,

Sacred trinities of ego
and eco
and double-binding ego/eco
searching truth statements
about compassionate regenerative EarthBound patriotism
to this planet home of humored Earth,

Host of work and play
wealth and health co-passioning experience
left-autonomous either secular or sacred
with both natural and spiritual rights more integral
re-creative process
and nondual Eastern passions,

Cognition from emotion,
being from becoming,
ego belonging Left from eco-longing Right
universal secular nutritional memories
from unitarian tribal experience
originating in EarthMothers’ eco-wombed Communion
health-wealth Commons
politically empowering
economic win/win healing ecology
re-wombed,
re-connecting,
re-collecting,

In my most real and sacred true right mind
I find
no profound secular difference,
not even any sacred healthy reason
to distinguish
or extinguish
secular physical engagement
from sacred mental cooperative commitment.

Liberating Migrations

I was listening, last night,
to a sympathetic defense
for conserving liberal arts
and producing deeper and wider liberating sciences
including healthy democratic
politically empowering science.

Once again
I am hearing about the persuasive prominence of identity,
how we label our ego-political selves,
as more important than personal nutritional narrative
for determining healthy value and disvalue choices,
for turning and returning self-empowering integrity.

Once again
I find myself longing
for us to grow more resilient integrity
in personal and national historic identity,
to better know nondual ego/eco-balancing narratives
of immigrating nature/spirit breaths inhaled
and emigrating Earth-nurturing breaths exhaled.

This bilateral experience spells a primal worded world
of left-hemisphere laughter
nurturing and communicating positively
confluently
integrally
in right-hemisphere holistic joy.

Favoring resonant communications
co-empowering,
and disfavoring fragmenting absence
of healthy democratic communities,
unnecessary and impractical disempowering poverty,
marginalization,
criminalization,
punishment against liberating arts and sciences.

Understanding that health-empowered nights
to freely communicate
do not morally or legally tolerate
intolerable hate spreading against
multiculturing immigrant waves of life and light
breathing in,
and emigrating healthy intent
releasing back out again
pursuing internal/external co-acclimation.

When I see and feel and hear hate
and anger
and fear-mongering
inside me
and in outside/inside dissonant voices,

Unveiling bad-faith narcissistic
and cynical
and tyrannical monoculturing narratives
of paranoid
fragmenting
demented win/lose,
or even nihilistic lose/lose, choices,
I can recognize this is not free speech
respecting multiculturally deep active learning
pro-social curiosity,
or even passive, non-reactive tolerance.

These are broken
wounded
unraveling unfree ego v eco-voices,
obsessed,
compulsive,
impulsive,
repulsive,
revulsive devulsive unvulsive prevulsive
anti-pulsive

Noting nothing that cannot be healed
by transubstantiating either/or left-hemisphere risks
co-arising both/and right-hemisphere sacred emotive opportunities
for building healthier ego-identity
through wealthier ego-immigrant
and eco-emigrating multicultural balance,

A healthy robust right-brain co-empowering integrity identity
reweaves bipolar left-brain ego-
and anthro-
privileged fake-supremacy
while simultaneously aware
at some deep and wide levels of pre-consciousness,
our tribal DNA prevolution history
is a revolution narrative of empowering migration intent
toward wealth of commonly-held cooperative health.

This 20-20 visual narrative
of migrating healthy wealth communication
remains cognitively and emotionally true identity
and beautifully integral,
balanced,
synergetic opportunity
whether considering one’s personal interdependent and multiculturing story,
or the history of evolving nation-states
revolving competitive immigrant
and cooperative co-migrant cultures,

And understanding this socially mediated
freedom to migrate and change our empowering story
is all integrity’s potential difference
between mistaking Left-dominant runaway nationalistic
autonomously pathological
undemocratically supremacist identity

For Right-under-functionally flowing hemisphere
effluently running
with multicultural personal and national and global
holistic win/win/win tri-elevated integrity
of ego/eco-trust identity.

Making Earth Great Again

Do we still belong together,
long to compassion with each other
more than against?

Do we still believe
Earth is more of a regeneratively developing memory
than a degeneratively unraveling lack of cherished experience?

Can we still distinguish between
organic becoming
and autonomous mechanical being
despite over-heated and windy climates
of migrating left/right change,
global west/east
and U.S. nationalistic south v north
and non-communal ambiguous faith commitments
to commodifying capitalism and communal communion of saints
and sinners,
and anti-win/win compassionate parenting,
and not not disassociative anthropocentrism,
and chronically stressed win/lose egocentrism…

I don’t believe I have,
and you have,
and They have one right answer
to this question of compassionate solidarity’s
true and trust potential.

But I do have active faith
we could create a safe discussion
for ways we do still feel win/win healthier together
than win/lose apart,
and ways we do not,
and in-between do not not,
yet unresolved polynomials,
networking interdependent paradigms
toward healthier wealth.

I do have active hope
we could choose to hold us win/win wealthier together
than autonomously apart,

More resilient than further win/lose fragmentation
of a healthy civil democratic
liberal arts and sciences informed
by original multiculturing wombed resonance
great turning away from further degenerating
our climate woundedly fracturing
disempowering futures apart.

A lifetime of win/win conversions
comes down to how we everyday ask
and every breath and heartbeat answer
these questions,
Do we still belong together,
long to compassion with each other
more than against?
