I have a friend with a doctorate in social-psychology.
From this social/individual combined view,
we might not expect a healthy, democratically inclusive, social environment
to produce an unhealthy, autocratically exclusive, elitist anthropocentrism.
All adult humans have experienced both political-psychological elite and non-elite childhood memories;
empowered as compared to younger children, at least,
and unempowered compared to adult authority.
Unwealthy, unstraight, unwhite individual neuropsychological experiences
reinforce empathic capacity for associating non-elite inclusive multicultural political values
with democratic health
and dissociative elite exclusive monocultural political disvalues
with autocratic pathology.
Social/economic disinvestment and politically disempowering experiences further reinforce non-elite neuropsychological trauma triggers, including histories of
emotional neglect
verbal abuse
bullying
dissociative prejudice
lack of felt associative regard.
Longing for power advantages of those socially/politically trusted
for demonstrating vigorously healthy compassion values
may be a universal neuropsychological experience,
and yet more deeply impressed
for those with attenuated histories of feeling peaceful
contented neurosystemic belonging.
We can all, elite and non-elite, extend neurosystemic capacity
to empathize with organisms vulnerable to dispassionate and discomforted
disempowered margins of democratic health positive neuropsychological values,
as virtuously favored
rather than viciously disfavored
autocratic unhealthy negative neuropsychological disvalues.
Individual neurosystemic lives chronically confined to dissociative non-elite boundary issues experience higher vulnerability to both authoritarian and anthropocentric disempowerment triggers, from others and from within;
higher anxiety risks in response to disempowering oppression,
feeling repressed, mistrusted
With multigenerationally inherited psychological roots
in chronic paranoia about surviving elite-autocratic abandonment
in an anthropocentrically competitive economic and political
win v lose,
right v wrong,
polarizing unhealthy ecology of dissociative disvalue
dispassion
chronically triggered neurosystemic displeasure.
By contrast, positive correlations between socio-political thriving
and neuropsychological health,

may neurosystemically empathize with more marginal non-thriving victims of autocratic elites
vulnerable to ecologically dissociative health risks
of chronic social-psychological neurosystemic trauma.
Non-elite social-environmental political status
chronically darkens and fades into vaporous margins
of both Self and Other dissociative depression
as our economic and political distrust perdures,
cancerously producing neurosystemically disturbing paranoia
co-arising mental distress within
and failure to thrive physical distress
feeling non-competitive,
non-elite
without social-political value without.
When I awaken in the morning, sometimes I feel anxious,
maybe about insufficiency of time
Not anticipating this day’s potential for empowering healthy relationships
or gratitude for more economic fruition than destitution.
At the end of this day
will I feel more like I have been struggling against environmentally toxic
dispassionate
and unhappy autocrats,
or struggling with how to contain and sustain anticipating more extended healthy
ecologically cooperative
compassionate
and thriving organically neurosystemic democrats
feeling
and smelling
and deeply listening
for ever-expanding neurosystemic ecopolitical trust?
Do I wake up to another autocratic elite-defensive competitive day
seeking advantages by disempowering less elite needy others
or co-invest compassionate neuropsychological abundance
with democratically trusting
compassion neurosystemic wealthy
ecologically healthy pleasured others?
Psychological and political healthy values
are drawn to democratically robust abundance
for multiculturally co-empowering all organic lives
by letting go of paranoid anthropocentric elitist baggage
of 0-sum WinAnthroMind v LoseEarthBody
disempowering autocratic defensiveness.
Both the psychological and political problems of LeftBrain Either/Or polarizing dominance trace back to two source-roots.
In science, regenerative Win-Win evolutionary thrival trends favoring cooperative organic natural values have been unmathematically presumed less successful than Win v Lose survivalist norms under high-stressed environmental imbalance conditions.
What is ecologically normative cooperation has been psychologically and economically and politically usurped by a model of evolution that assumes ecological health is rooted in anthropocentric elitist dominance of economic wealth v ecological health.
Were this the actual historical case, then we have no way of explaining how natural relationships could evolve into self-regenerative organic systems of memory and increasing co-empathic communication;
co-intelligent democratic integrity.
The other root source goes back to the origins of religions as co-empathic trust in sacred powers.
Human neurosystemic nature favorably responds to active faith in passion-mind and pleasure-body nondualistic powers as benign, pronoia, non-violent communication health values; and not dissociative, condemning, vengeful, greedy autocratic, anthropocentric disempowering disvalues.
The gods and goddesses of love have always fertilely engaged cooperative empathic trust in Earth’s democratically interdependent regenerative future.
The demons and unkind gods and unfertile goddesses of condemnation, too often re-enacted by tough-love parents, and monoculturally xenophobic politicians, and 0-sum devolutionary economists and anthropocentric capitalist value assumptions,
provoke further non-elite neurosystemic trauma about our unenlightened and disempowering inadequacies within,
and further anthrosupremacist-monotheistic theology rather than regeneratively cooperative organically sacred ecology.
To paraphrase Buckminster Fuller,
geopolitical wizard of synergetic systems theory,
it is easier to become a neuropsychologically healthy humane cultural organism
when we live in a democratically wealthy,
polycultural climax-anticipating,
compassionately communing climate.
But, for most of us mere mortals,
that is a lot to wake up to positively anticipate
on a chilly pre-dawn morning.
