and LeftBrain-Body worded ego-centric thoughts
of embodied ecoconsciousness,
internal as external confluent
without ‘ego’ off-centering competing preference,
without attachment to ego empire building,
0-sum unworded interdependent polypathic awareness,
internal ego-forming as externally informed,
beginning with RightBrain-Body formation,
empathic trust dominant
within matriarchal nutritional paradise
of embryonic climate health.

Eco emerges Ego through our Exodus from Eden
birth canal emergence into Earth Tribe
regenerating/degenerating Earth’s climate health.

Ego health begins and ends
with developing regenerate cooperative contentment
in our own interdependent languaged thoughts with feelings skin,
hearts,
minds,
bodies,
brains,
spinal cords…

To grow a healthy Ego
is to becom polypathically ecoconscious of climate therapies,
internal and external,
ecologically symbiotic.

Symbiotic
is a word evolutionary theory gives us
to regenerate theology of transubstantiating meaning,
sacred ecological purpose
toward abundant multicultural climates
of interdependent ecopolitical health.

Ego LeftBrain words and economic and political thought
and practice, practice, practice,
emerge from Elder RightBrain ecoconsciousness
to become more cooperatively nondual co-arising flow

karmic climate health consciousness.

Balancing Work and Play

I was reading Rev. Julian Clifford Jaynes’ homily,
delivered May of 1919
to the First Unitarian Society in West Newton, Massachusetts,
commenting on the 100 years since Channing’s Baltimore Sermon.

Rev. Jaynes had a son,
a second generation Julian Jaynes,
who was a rather well published Princeton psychologist
with an evolutionary theory of bicameral LeftBrain intelligence emerging from older RightBrain consciousness.

Earlier in the morning
I had been reading this younger secular humanist Julian Jaynes,
who was also a bicameral mental-health development John the Baptist
to what later became Positive Psychology,
prior to reading Reverend Jaynes’ 100 year perspective
on Channing’s Unitarian slap down
of a vengeful condemning Calvinist God,
condemning the grievous sins of mere mortal humans.

Mortal humans who are also bicameral human consciousness,
as teleologically and ecologically and phylogenically understood
by the younger Julian Jaynes,
only son of a Unitarian Rev,
whose father died a few years after Psychologist Jaynes was born,
and after delivering his historical summary of Unitarian bicameral evolution
toward Universalist-LeftBrain and Unitarian-RightBrain nature-spirits
nondual co-arising between 1819 and 1919.

I developed a distracting habit of writing in additional words
that the younger Jaynes might have added
to describe a dynamic nondual natural-spiritual balancing act
between Universalist Yang EgoConservatives of Traditional health values
and Unitarian Yintegrity of Earth-Regenerating nutrition.

As I began to see through the eyes of Rev. Jaynes reading his son’s theory of bicameral egoLeft-Yang and ecoRight-Yin evolution of balancing nondual co-arising consciousness,
Universal ebbing waves of triumphal unchanging YangTruth Tradition
prepared to surge back toward narrow-midway Unitarian flow
of LeftEgo with RightEco climate balance for abundantly regenerative love,
health, happiness,
economic and political balance
of YangLeft EgoCentering Universal Co-Empowerment
nondual co-arising promise
with YinRight EcoCentering Flow of Both-And
Universalists with Unitarians,
which did not become religiously updated from the Prime (0) Relational Principle of Taoism,
until a few years before Psychologist Jaynes published his treatise on
Positive pylogenic development
of Left-Right Ego-secular/Eco-sacred bicameral evolution.

This is how I added the younger Jaynes
to Reverend Jaynes
speaking about the 100 year influence of Reverend Channing:

He declared the supremacy of the human [ego/eco-logical healthy and wealthy trusting] reason.

“Religious experience

Choosing ProLife Magazines

I was in Nazareth the other day
waiting for a visit with my acupuncture ecotherapist.

The waiting room is minimalist-zen, I suppose.
While waiting to be invited in next,
I took a chair
with a magazine table in front
displaying two magazines,
one to my left
and one to my right.

The one on my left
was about the Democrats’ ProLife Policy,
advertising titles like
Earth’s Cooperative ReGeneration,
Climate Health Economic Opportunities
LongTerm Public Health and Safety
Becoming Beloved Communities.

The magazine on my right was the Republican ProLife Position,
as iconically represented by Wealth as Trump-Ace cards,
with titles like
Aborting Our Babies’ Future
Hot Air, Filthy Water, BurnedOut Soil
Public Health Issues Not Covered by ObamaCare.

I chose the Health Development magazine on my left
because I thought it would be more consistently
redundantly
multiculturally
ecologically
regeneratively
positively pro-life,
while Aborting our Babies’ Future Health
seemed more likely to just be another long advertisement
for negative
degenerative
anti-ecological
anti-Earth Sciences
anti-HealthyWealthy Creation Stories of Paradise Still Becoming,
rather like a Yes! magazine,
but that was a surprising non-choice
in that time and place,
within that monoculturally plutocratic condemning life
I suppose was envisioned in the magazine on my Right.

Anyway,
I will never truly know.
Just as I picked up the ProLife Left choice
my ecotherapist invited me in for our appointment,
during which s/he told me I should feel better for the next four years
knowing I did the best I could to defend against further pathologies,
and to just continue choosing Positive as ProLife ReGenerators,
7-Generation bicameral double-binding magazines,
co-arising both/and either/or appositions
of ecopolitical climate pro-life health
v anti-ecological landscapes of further pathological
pain-in-the-neck,
and even considerably lower,
condemning future potential generations to abort
as an entire EarthBound species
rabidly in denial of untimely death by
pre-millennially LeftBrain too dominant
anti-ecologically ecopolitically too competitive
WinLose Party Players
against caring for the health of future babies.

So, continue choosing the Positive ProLife Deviant magazine on my left
and comprehend why that choice is resonantly confluent
with RightBrain’s NotNot Health-Abortive DNA/RNA,
also known in Nazareth as ecologically sacred encryption,
humane-divine bilateral inspiralation.

As soon as s/he saw me reach for the Left,
my ecotherapist from Nazareth knew
I would be as OK as I could be
about our future regenerative,
rather than degenerative
public health pro-life choices.

Three Faces of Wisdom

I am reading minds and potentially wise political bodies
with Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, again.

He speaks of three interdependent aspects of wisdom.
The first is rooted in ecoconscious comprehension
of how and why knowledge, deductive information, facts, beliefs
may be both regeneratively positive
and degeneratively negative.
Wisdom begins with knowledge
but ends in polypathically comprehensive comprehension.

As knowledge evolves,
grows,
that it does so following ecologically regenerative trust
and yet also ecopolitically degenerative mistrust
principles of natural symbiotic and entropic procedures
rooted in nature-spirit Earth systems,
becomes what Bucky Fuller called synergetic comprehension,
and what Edward deBono called the combination of
LeftBrain vertical
with RightBrain lateral thinking
to become bilaterally comprehensive
in a deep ecological comprehension
wu wei wisdom way.

The second face of wisdom is yang-virtue,
rooted in the Roman nomial for man.
While ecologically comprehensive consciousness thinks the nurturing thought,
virtue walks the walk of Bodhisattva righteousness,
of acting with integrity
rather then wading through hidden paranoia
about internal hypocrisies
threatening to become public nuisances,
public knowledge,
publicly marginalizing issues,
where public may be as small as one’s spouse
or most nuclear family.

The combination of ecoconscious awareness
maturely integrated with virtuous lifestyle,
including, for some, healthy rich family relationships
of mutually cooperative integrity,
derives the third face of wisdom,
which Csikszentmihalyi expresses as happiness
and which Laotse felt as self and other nurturing contentment;
a kindness that is uniquely accessible to humane nature
in full self-governing maturity.

Where comprehension and integrated virtuous, honest, action
do not result in contentment,
the seeker of wisdom is suffering losses
through cognitive-affective dissonance, dismay, often chronic depression.

Where comprehension and virtue,
ecopolitical deep learning and integrative choices
do not easily settle for our WinLose ecopolitical norms,
when WinWin is the more obvious healthy and wealthy choice,
polypathic comprehension can be seriously compromised by LeftBrain dominant paranoid dissonance,
rather than Left/Right balancing psychological and political outcomes
of Ego peace with Earth justice contentment.

The remaining distance between comprehensive thought
and virtuously rewarding actions
results in internal contentiousness,
which presents chronically as depression,
a withdrawal into existential despair,
absence of hope for ego’s capacity to integrate
given current ecopolitically competitive
and sometimes even anti-ecologically terrifying
climates of pathological enculturation.

Polypathic wisdom,
with active love praxis,
brings multiculturally evolving contentment
within, psychologically,
as without, ecopolitically.

Actively shared contentment of cooperative intent,
as opposed to secretly held contentiousness
of competitive WinLose intellectual elitism,
speaks more co-mentoringly of wisdom’s potential,
optimizing permaculturally nutritious design integrity,
within as without.

Let us not be collectively fooled into suboptimal choices
between wisdom and healthy regenerativity.
No such choices could be truly necessary
to further humane evolution of self,
other,
and Earth.

Perhaps it is of interest to Jungians, at least,
the Trinitarian dynamic of wisdom’s three faces,
beginning with the EcoConscious Universal ReGenerative,
integrating with the Virtuously Righteous CoRedeeming Yang-Sun,
together nurturing a Holonic EarthSpirit Nature
of co-empathic trust contentment outcomes;
and yet also, sadly,
continuing antipathy, mistrust,
internal as external climate pathologies,
rooted in paranoid LeftBrain dominant
premillennial WinLose histories of contentiousness.

Why do I suspect
a more revolutionary history of nurturing contentment
would also speak of matriarchal power-with enculturation?
The medicines of co-passionate midwife nurses
more than reactive surgeons.

Global Earth Rights Party

Perhaps we might all agree

that life’s purpose appears to grow regenerativity,

recreative memories as positive

rising above, and yet within,

and both before and after,

less creative mistrusts of ambivalently evaporating health v pathology outcomes.

 

And, if self and other regenerative health

is the DNA and RNA stuff of history positive living

and the multiculturally orthodox reason for today

and actively hopeful reasons for and of tomorrow,

and all time’s future regenerations of species,

biosystemic political landscapes

with ecosystemically ecological climates,

then self and other governance began before enlightened conventions,

and declarations of freedom to regenerate powers with

through freedom from overly competitive ecopolitically powering-over constraints,

and subclimate constitutions of organic nationalistic incorporation,

but always reiterating WinWin reverse hierarchical nesting tree understory networks

of forests building biosystemic songs and dances

for and of Earth Rights.

 

Earth Rights to healthy positive

and not so much pathology negative

absence of regenerative health potential.

Earth Rights are also

self and other regenerative dipolar balance rights

and wrongs of LeftBrain dominant deductive-reductive history,

overpowering RightBrain co-empathic tree cooperatives

nurturing WinWin deep learning nutritional ecology,

compositions constituting undersung Earth Rights Proclamations,

ReFormations,

ReGenesis.

 

And so it seems we are already,

as this global anthrospecies,

some combination of anonymous and self-declaring Earth Rights Advocates,

remembering our international ecopolitical cooperative-regenerative party.

Together, each and every seasonal development year for growing health,

we erect another economic-politically empowered-disempowered ring

around our historic regenerative constitution story,

creation narratives of chaos, and complexity,

and regenerative hope to try Golden Era LeftRight Balance again.

 

Perhaps Climate Rights Advocates

as also Human Rights and Wrongs Advocates

might facilitate and co-mentor this globally cooperative ecoconsciousness,

by cooperatively schooling and gifting forward our collective investments

to globally incorporate our Earth Rights EcoPolitical Party.

From this regenerative discernment

we could realign WinWin ecology’s health

with ecopolitically cooperative wealth

and invite all the other, lesser, nationalist political parties

to listen and learn within this organic cooperative fertility

about healthier platforms for helpfully caring for ourselves,

setting aside older WinLose condemning theological models,

to care for our extending family Others,

as Earth’s Golden Rule of ReGenerativity,

ecopolitical cooperativity

of LeftRight balancing trees,

well composted networks of root systemic ecopoliticians.

 

Perhaps an on-line Earth Rights and Wrongs WinWin Game

would help national and provincially competing ecopolitical professional followers

of degenerating paranoia

learn together to lead

through cooperative co-mentoring regenerative facilitation

of Earth Tribal Right and Left TaoBalanced ecosystemic regenerativity.

 

Perhaps our colleges and kindergartens

could become ReGenerative Earth Rights Gaming Party sites

for playing and deep learning

ecopolitical as ecologically balancing recreativity

of multicultural health,

without further conserving yet more self-condemning

monoculturing egocentric pathology.

if we do agree

that life appears to be for regenerativity

as death disappears into dissonant degenerativity.

Muddy Tree Family

I’m planting trees today.
Cherry trees in front,
Peter on the street,
Paul in the middle,
with Mary closest in toward the house,
all on the far side of our gravel drive.

On the same southern side,
along my neighbor’s new above the eyebrows 8-foot fence,
backside facing me,
which is fine,
more backdrop character for vines and ivy,
preferably less poisonous,
I also plant three larger fruit trees,
Dillen first,
then Spencer,
then Daquan,
after my three sons
in that original adoption-planting order.

Then, by the front porch
on northern side,
an apple tree
named Marvin after Gaye,
my first love before I knew what mine felt right like.

Three thornless blackberries
planted in the back,
Matthew first, of course,
with shared Beatitudes,
then Mark, progenitor of gospel vocation stories,
then Luke the ecotherapeutic Medicine Bush,
luxuriously black berryed, Agape.

All this vast recently adopted extending family
to greet and nourish my multiculturally mutually adopted,
and sometimes quite dysfunctionally malnourished,
human fractured family,
but rarely allowed to go to bed angry or frightened,
at least by each other.

While planting I go in and through our home
with my muddy gardening shoes,
remembering my mother’s exasperated voice,
Who tracked all this mud through my kitchen?!
and my standard response,
The mud-tracker prefers to remain anonymous.

I’ll just bet he does,
she responds,
as I reach for broom and dustpan.

Then later,
Why, of all things, would you choose to track through all this muddy gay identity?
I was really planning on birthing a Saint!
and my response, of course,
The filthy queer prefers to remain anonymous.

I just hope he does,
I can hear her thinking
as I plant Peter, then Paul,
then Mary, the cherries.

About that same time,
while sorting through syncretic interdependence of regenerative economics as power-politics,
my mother wondering why I would choose to head toward Hell
as an unredeemed Taoist,
and my response
The evilish Taoist-Christian hybrid
prefers to remain both atheistically anonymous
and power-theistically full of sacred diastatic abundance.
In other words,
polypathically and multiculturally empty,
and yet co-redeeming as co-loving interdependent fertility does,
not just pinefully and whinefully intends.

About this time I am singing
my final adoption by baptism rite with Marvin Gaye,
Otis Redding’s “These Arms of Mine”
dedicated to all those transubstantiating syncretic polyculturists
inside, as ecopolitically outside,
even if preferring sacred organic co-rootedness
to secularly remaining as anonymous as a wordless tree.

Multicultural Political Health Design

I have had a highly redundant,
one might even choose polypathic,
graduate studies experience
spanning my adult life to date.

This began with a semester of Philosophy.
Just enough to learn I wanted something more experiential,
a more communitarian environment of Applied Metaphysics, perhaps.

So then I began, and soon completed, studies for the Master of Divinity degree,
which has an arcane ring to it,
but basically the title implies just the opposite of what degree candidates most hope for,
to be Mastered by Divine Love,
to economically and politically operate as an icon of all-inclusive ecological love.

Those receiving the M.Div.
hoped to apply their ecopolitical science of empathic trust,
our mutual Basic Attendance,
to life as liturgical theology
or at least teleologically benign song and dance;
to be the love today we proclaim for tomorrow,
rooted in our humane-divine nondual nature-spirit compost
of ecopolitical peace-integrity with justice-truth becoming;
pilgrimage,
The Ways of Divinity,
co-mastering together.

Fortunately,
when I landed in a rural Colorado parish,
the beat-down aging poor mutually-marginalizing Mexican and Anglo faith community
invited me to reconsider further investment in administering sacraments
disconnected from ecopolitically healthy outcomes of empathic trust.
To continue as individuals,
families,
and as a multiculturally rich community
of mutually holonic,
respected,
cooperative,
trusting co-empathic faith,
we needed more of a Total Makeover,
a gut rehab,
an economic design to fuel our continuing collective political incarnation
into this Beloved Therapeutic EcoPolitical Community
we each long to belong within,
as integrity without.

Responding to apparent hope for stronger organizing
and planning
and budgeting
and ecopolitical design and implementation,
and evaluation and socioeconomic change skills,
I accepted an invitation into a double Master of Public Administration and Community [Economic] Development degree program,
primarily taught by PhDs in Political Science;
my first among too many loves as an undergraduate at Michigan.

Here I learned, once again, that politically correct administration of empathic trusting,
sometimes mistrusting,
and even actively distrusting totalitarian political relationships
historically and culturally thrive
when “follow economic wealth”
also means “responsibly invite multicultural political as personal health”
internally economic as externally political,
nondual internal-external co-arising ecological landscapes of nutrition.

Humane ecopolitical landscapes are ruled by active hope
and cooperative potential within
as divinely landscaped multicultural ecology without,
polypathic faith in love’s synergetic trust
and discovery
and curious regenerativity of enlightening imagination.

The U.S. Declaration of interdependent Independence and Constitution were born of Enlightenment CoOperative EcoPolitics.

Applied ecopolitical science looked a great deal like applied theology,
or at least teleology, healthy purpose, therapeutic cultural meaning.
Democracy develops fragrant discernment through co-empathic multicultural trust,
moving toward inclusive resonant resolutions of complexly interdependent ecopolitical issues,
risks,
opportunities,
social investments and historical-cultural divestments,
intending improved climate health
and less climates of pathology,
whether too hyperactively warm
or too near to flat-line fading into freezing despair.

My issues with effectively developing ecopolitical health,
by suppressing dis-ecological pathologies,
past failures of achieving a truly multiculturally abundant history of sustainable healthy climates,
soon led to confusion about a great cultural divide
between two vocational labels:
1. Political Scientist, and
2. Permacultural Designer.

This great cultural divide appeared front and center
more recently when I became certified as a Permaculture Designer.
It helped me to look more carefully at the functional intent of “political”
as compared to “permacultural” outcome goals and use-of-power objectives.
As I thought more about how our normal day-to-day scientific investment in learning about power includes learning primal differences between multicultural designs
and monocultural monopolies of totalitarian mistrust leaning toward distrust chaos,
dissonance,
then polypathic confluence of design and pattern correlations emerge as the compost,
the food,
the fodder of our ecological as ecopolitical learning enterprise.

“Permaculture” was chosen to distinguish perennially designed
and democratically self-governing landscapes
from more traditional annual economies of “Agriculture” business,
with more of a replant, spray, and harvest of chemically treated quasi-edibles,
nutritionally malignant regarding fertile health of Earth’s soil,
leading to well-established suboptimal health-trends of ecopolitical Business As Usual.

Permaculture designs are for and on and about and composed of information rooted in past positive polyculturally balanced community landscape outcomes.
These polyculturing ecopolitical landscapes began as maps of nurturing health plans for exteriors only,
like gardens and farms and river banks.
But, this organic economic and political view of power-with ecological balancing climates
has moved from exterior to increasingly interior ecopolitical health landscapes,
like bicameral full-octave nature-spirit nondual deep learning healthy multicultural mindbody landscapes, dialogues, stories, evolutions.

A political power relationship of healthy nutritional economic/ecologic design
pulls together the implied normativity of Political Sciences comparing unhealthy totalitarian powers producing outcomes of mayhem and terror
to democracies intended to nurture co-empathic cooperative trust.
If designers using permacultural ecopolitical principles and procedures for healthier polycultural climates,
then we are also scientists exploring transactional-relational nutrient-power principles
and investment/divestment procedures for sustaining multicultural health designs and sustaining power-with development,
co-investment in planning,
and harvesting health outcomes rooted in (0)-sum Earth-centric climates
of polypathic ecopolitical health.

Permaculture Design Certification more or less brings me back full circle,
where graceful articulation of applied metaphysics
invites active,
relentless pursuit of ecopolitical deep learning
mutually cooperative faith communities
within bicameral heart and lungs and brain and guts and limbs and genetic roots
as cooperative Beloved Communities incarnating together without.

People of radically cooperative faith,
profound empathic ecopolitical trust,
ask what and whom you believe WITH,
while those of a more fundamentalist-exclusive faith,
including active mistrusts of alien faith systems as more or less idolatrous,
ask what and whom you believe IN.

If you believe in evolutionary cosmological processes
that you do not believe also believe in you,
cooperatively together,
then you are less likely to achieve healthy nutritional ecopolitically sustainable outcomes,
while you are waiting for SomeOne Other
to grace you with His Transcendent truth-beauty presence.

If you believe with processes of ecosystemic health,
then you have joined the evolutionary permacultural partisans of healthy regenesis,
wherein lies all evidence of creation,
rather than nihilistic monocultural nothing.
Then again, you might conceivably believe in both,
which is a highly polypathic wu wei pilgrimage–
a razor’s edge teleology of enculturing history.
