at least on MLKing SabbathDream Days,
feels not yet enough un-privileged,
increasingly side-tracked
from cooperative GreenEarth dreams reborn,
up-bearing
paid-forward into what more recent cultically degenerates
into an expanding historical commodified competition
in ego-personality marketing and idolizing worship.

Authentic WinWin non-violent singing messiahs
do not want to be WinLose competitive-ego worshiped,
misunderstood,
too easily dismissed as saints,
for the courage of their patience
with absence of cooperative interdependent resilient dreams
within solidarity of communion,
not fragmentation of originally nonsectarian
non-violent communication,
with our natural-rhythmed vibrating voices
and our bilateral hands and feet.

MLK’s
and Gandhi’s
and perhaps Jesus of Nazareth’s
and LaoTse’s
and Buddha’s
and Gaia’s music and resistance dance
and storytelling muses of music history
exalt our cooperative harmonies of wisdom,
non-violent everyday enchanting eco-villages and green meadows
investing in cooperatively self/other-owned economies,
compassionate interelationships of soulful co-passions,
good-news rhythms,
harmonic patterns of cooperatively-held historic resonant redemption
for depressed
and suppressed
and oppressed,
ego personality worshipers,
seriously unimpressed power-divas,
and struggling family peace-warriors
against Win/Lose ego-mortality

With sufficient courage to speak our cooperatively-owned
and managed eco-dreams
and curiosity enough to cooperatively explore
our white-privileged anthems
of pietistic fake-prophetic sufficiency of almost uniting,
not quite universal, EarthTribe peace, blind
to further noticing current lapses
in non-violent span-historical
pan-cultural communication,
cooperative investment,
compassionate resilience
positive democracy energetic resonance

Sung,
spoken,
and non-verbally RightBrain dreamed
and WinWin Left/Right framed
for good-faith justice climates
heading back oppressive punishing crusade histories
of hating interdependent communion economies,
polyculturally nutritious sufficiency for all EarthTribe,
more powerfully resilient
than mere Win/Lose business as usual ego-marketing commerce,
mono-paternalistically distorted,
ecoYin-unbalanced
egoYang-privileged, so not healthy democratic,
growing ego-conservative marketing status, so not ecologically resonant,
not green sanctuary robust

Regardless of how large or small
that Zero ZenZone musing sanctuary
may non-violently
non-fragmentedly
non-reductively
embrace all souls
as we interdependently co-arise
great historic muses of multiculturing reality,
health of integrity,
wealth of solidarity,
cooperatively responsible resilience.

In This Taoist’s View

Could we be doing our best
to invest in Earth’s cooperative health markets?
While you sell our most competitive killing machines
to our Saudi Arabian cousins.

Referencing this touchstone as an ecopolitical WinWin,
unlike Parisian multicultural investments in climate health,
as LoseLose,
remains upside down of any truly love-life frame.

Ballistic sales and buys are tragic ecopolitical failures
as are our hugely nihilistic military markets,
fueled by political-nationalistic fear-mongering,
anti-life and hope
could only cynically be seen and heard
much less smelled and felt
as WinWin success.
Bombs stink.

One hundred and ten billion dollars
for purveyors of future death and destruction
to, and around, Saudi Arabia
seems somewhat against climates of health
as compared to Parisian international agreements
to do our best
to turn from investments in further disinvesting death pathologies
to return toward climates
and ecopolitical landscapes of health’s wealthier
more robust and resonantly multiculturing
WinWin outcomes.

We have no prospects for wins that are truly anthro-economic
that are anti-ecologic.

Wealth blossoms from healthy roots.
It is not smart to try to plant and sell your roses upside down.

In Taoism,
and other zero-centric disciplines
and art-forms,
such as statistical trend analysis
and Permaculture Design
and Game Theory,
every position has its dipolar apposite;
every static implies a dynamic hypostatic,
as Yang implies apposition Yin,
as masculine strength implies feminist-matriarchal nurture,
embryonic wombed conservancy.

If God is love,
then also fear delineates God’s and Earth’s omnipotent boundaries
for therapeutic health.

Some would say love’s opposite is hate,
but here more resonant appositional contrast is ecstasy,
Eastern interdependent consciousness of bliss,
Western polypathy of experiential and logosed trans-paradigmatic wisdom,
as fear can distrust into chronic hate
so love can trust transcendent polyculturing ecstasies.

Climate health
is also about absence of climate pathology
which could lead to multiculural ecstasies,
Martin L. King, Jr’s BeLoved Communities,
resonant harmonies
of zero-sum ecopolitics.

But, we must choose love
for synergetic cooperative economics
rather than fear-mongering WinLose ballistic arms
for racing racism
for gender-commodifying sexism,
for cooperative capital reducing reductive capitalism
for substituting economism for ego/eco-systemic logic;
bring on more Left with Right
for less Left against Right,
bring on YangJustice with YinurturingPeace
Love with delineating Fear of Ego/Eco-Loss
of any regenerative future markets
of all-consumer and for all-producing health
as freedom’s wealth.

Religions, all, choose nature-spirit climates of and for sacred love,
health;
so our choices for political landscapes furthering fear
fade away from military industrialized
brother/sister extended hatreds.

We are better than addiction to sale of armaments.
We have learned already
to invest in multiculturing climates and landscapes
and languages
and cultures of and for love.

If love grows our cooperative capacities,
capital investments,
to optimize health as wealth
through each and every multiculturing WinWin
relational and transactional opportunity,
then it is not only a lie replacing Promise
to believe we can democratically point a loaded rifle
at someone’s product of love
within a smaller nationalistic spirit supporting life,

Death sales are also tragically missed opportunities
to further delineate
our polypathic possibilities of and for,
in and through,
before and after,
sacred ecological love,
our shared democratic multiculturingl Promise.

While there are two sides,
at least,
to every healthy resonating story,
the other side veers off
toward dissonate pathologies,
decay and even threats thereof,
paranoia and rabid ritualistic terrors
bipolar eviscerating history
rather than dipolar co-arising her/his-stories.

Every love story
includes its tensioned appositional,
fear of deadly growth
toward hate’s viral histories
of capital gains for aristocratic few
without ecotherapeutically mutual co-investments
in and for mutual freedom’s regenerative return.

We have our love creation stories
with, and happily above,
our fear-commodifying history
of threats and ecopolitical coercion,
capital love abundance
not yet entirely perverted into arcane reductivist capitalism,
supported by even more military industrializing sales
at most until Earth’s oil
then gas
then ballistics defuse our bullets
while jonesing for more cooperatively-owned love comes rushing in.

A Permaculture Designer
might observe we all agree,
Judeo-Christian American,
and Islamic Saudi Arabian,
our mutually beloved Allah-God is 0-core love,
from which all creations positive bright nurtured co-arise
double-binding all imaginations negative
dualdark bipolarities of competing defined exegetical contrasts
with dipolarities cooperating delineating eisegetical comparisons.

No bright white health nutritional trends
without dark black death decompositions
but calling climate health black
and darkdeath-mongering merely not quite unwhite
does not make alternative facts more true,
as trusting polypathic freedoms
to regeneratively optimize love
as and in and of and for
God and Earth’s future cooperative health.

One hundred and ten billion dollars for ballistics
for disinvesting God and Allah and Earth from each LoveOther.
Piracy of truth and goodness
perfidy of healthy trust
of and for future regenerations.
Self impeaching offenses against God and Earth as Love,
sold as cause for international celebration.

I am decidedly not buying.

Why not sell 110 million trees
at $100 each,
or 110 million solar panels?
Why lead off with our most toxic commodity?
It feels like massive failure of democratically healthy imagination,
and curiosity,
and intent toward wealth of therapeutic outcomes.

Is that really what they inappropriately teach
at Wharton School for Healthy Business?

Watching Washington isms

There is a world of difference
between schism and jism,
but they both end up the same.

Just as patriarchal Roman Catholicism
overpowers living and breathing Christianity,
so too does Capitalism
overpower cooperative capital co-investment,
so too does autocratic rationalism
overpower syncretic enculturing con-scientivity,
so too does stale exegetical Traditionalism
corrupt fresh noticing hope
for co-redemptive learning-teaching cooperativity.

We might imagine
our Original Democratic Constitutional Intent
in developing swampy soils
now reincarnated as Washington, D.C.
was to reconstruct what Martin Luther King, Jr.
saw as a staircase rooted in Eden
before The Great Dualistic Competitive Fall
emerging upward and outward
toward a contemporary multiculturally bountiful
Beloved Community.

Washington seems to have fallen short,
perhaps toxically beheaded by civil wars
about civil rights,
collective anger management
where Beloved Eden Community hope
notices prospects for faith
within regenerative love optimization,
civil resonance maturing responsive rights
toward still emerging cooperative economic and political co-owned
authorities of Earth
and Her bountifully democratic multiculturing nation-states.

David Holmgren
encourages us,
Republicans and Democrats,
Libertarians and Climate-Healthy Greens,
to notice freedom’s Beloved Community potential
increasingly constrained by “adverse effects of over-consumption
and over-development”.
And combining thoughts of Julian Jaynes
and Edward De Bono
and Buckminster Fuller,
and countless others,
we add further generic cautions
concerning over-LeftBrain Either/Or competitive disculturation
through monopolistically deductive-reductive Win/Lose
evolutionary/devolutionary dualistic dominance.

Washington’s ecopolitical swampland
sinks through too-competitively investing
in war mongering rather than peace management,
in pathology remediation rather than proactive health care,
in pollution control rather than regenerative democratic co-ownership
of toxic waste and nutritional health streams,
in crime control rather than cooperative co-redemptive co-investment,
in anti-ecological anthrocentric enculturation
rather than regenerative mutual mentoring
education as if multiculturing loves and deaths matter,
in litigation rather than mindful integration
of ego-norms with cooperative economics,
in suboptimizing disservices and dissonance
rather than optimizing health and nutrition consilient services.

Taoism, like Islamic Judeo-Christianity,
and unlike supremacist Chosen Patriarch Catholicism,
and like PermaCulture Design,
is bicamerally nondual rooted
in LeftBrain faith,
as co-empathic ecopolitical trust,
and in ElderMatriarchal RightBrain hope,
which PermaCulture Designers evolve toward Beloved Community PolyCulturing Promise
with simple, contenting, positive bilateral noticing,
nurturing trust in healthy belief
as contrasted against a more Washingtonian negative nihilism.

For the Taoist ecopolitical designer,
as for the Abraham through Mohammed social cooperativist,
faith is co-empathic ecopolitical trust.
What Buddhists notice as Basic Original Intent.
Yet, because of mindbody nondualism,
disembodied faith, not Beloved Community incarnate,
is a dream,
maya.
Faith intrinsically requires positive cooperative action,
co-investment,
co-redemptive eco-messianic co-mentoring.

To have faith in our capacity
to grow Beloved Communities
is to trust in co-redemption,
co-messianic, if you Western prefer,
as one’s nondual egoLeft/ecoRight regenerative becoming.

To grow Beloved Community faith
is to foster cooperatively emergent trust.
To ecopolitically entrust representatives
is fertile-rooted in finding those with cooperative co-mentoring,
co-piloting responsibility/authority ownership optimization skills
and focus of self-with-other bicameral balance,
ego-as-also-eco love optimization,
not monoculturing anger control,
tolerating mutually competitive immunities,
not cultivating further active distrust
rooted in reductive
dualistic absence
of co-redemptive trust.

[toward Beloved Community].”
says Martin Luther King, Jr.
To which bilateral Yang-Yin nondual Taoists
of cooperative Left deductive belief
emerging from Right inductive trust
respond with a contenting “Amen”,
AND cooperative ecopolitical faith
noticing regenerative hope of Earth’s nature-spirit
blossoms along each and all faith co-redeeming steps
producing and consuming balance,
healthy active cooperativist democracies of co-empathic trust,
Beloved Communities of joy and peace,
love as and of and for contentment
within sufficiency
necessarily conjoining
this shared MotherEarth’s regenerate Beloved Communities,
even in benighted Districts
of Overly-Competitive Columbia.

There is a world of differences
but these all pedagogically end up
the eco-logosism same.

Politically Correct Bodies with Economically Healthy Minds

What are your values and disvalues of and for power?

What are the political powers and weaknesses,
incapacities,
of economic value?
What is not for sale?
What is available, but only without commodification,
without any form of quantitative price paid in return?

Are these questions changed, yet equivalent,
in the following?

Are economic values and loss of nutritional values
intrinsic to powers of cooperative and competing health relationships?
to political power understood as broadly as possible to effect
increase
or decrease
or sustainable stasis in depth of health-flow v wealth-hold
political power as power of evolving nurturing-time itself?

What are the physical body’s powers
and lack of powers
to regenerate the mind’s economic comprehension
of metaphysical health-merit?

Are economic development/unraveling theories any more or less than
dualistic abstractions drawn from cooperative/competitive political health experience,
evolving ecological systems,
structures of logical regenesis,
and suboptimal derivative ecosystems of less sustainability,
without (0)-sum loss of interest,
energy,
re-generativity of perpetually emergent organic rights,
responsibilities,
authorities,
mutually-shared accountabilities
of beloved EcoPolitical Communities (M. L. King)
heading toward sustainable polycutural climaxes (Permaculture Design),
culminating in some deep sacred dualdark cosmological
BlackNegEntropicDenseMatter (0)Mega Consilience Point (Teilhard de Chardin with some Edward O Wilson),
in which our economic map is at last bicamerally seen
and balanced
and proportioned
and folded in as out (Buckminster Fuller)
as our holonically ideal politically cooperative EarthTribe Territory.

Are implicating forms of ecopoliticaly shaped language (David Bohm)
telling our timeless creation story,
holonic carved laser knives
for and from slicing and dicing political powers
evolved from and for nutritional redevelopment?

Our economic power abundance,
and starving absence of sufficiency,
economic map may depict a sad, yet hopeful, political territory.
Earth’s geobiological past,
present,
and therefore future health development process
toward empathic trust growth trends
projecting post-climatic health trends
of a highly diastatic-synergetic biosystem,
learning to co-mentor healthy investments of time and money,
and how to correct unhealthy investments in ego-,
ethno-,
and anthro-centric pathologies
by reversing current competing LeftBrain dominant enculturation trends,
shifting to an ecopolitical Tipping Point,
Left-Right balance of nutritional power values.

What are economic values
other than nutritional merits of and for healthy cooperative powers?

Prophetic Water

In the recently published¬†Death of a King: The Real Story of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior’s Final Years, Tavis Smiley reminds us that living a prophetic and integral life does not result in winning popularity contests. While prophets may become mystics, saints, and geniuses post mortem, Dr. King was no exception to the historical rule that no prophet is broadly welcome in his own time.

This thesis reminded me of a Taoist aphorism:

Who receives unto himself the calumny of the world

Is the preserver of the state.

Who bears himself the sins of the world

Is the king of the world.

While Dr. King had gained broad support for his positions regarding racism, as he retained a consistent ethical voice in support of equal rights for women and against the culture of violence and war epitomized in the Vietnam War, he would have had increasing difficulty had he ever aspired to elective office. His allies in D.C. resented Dr. King for biting the hand that they believed had fed him more than sufficiently already. His African-American clergy colleagues often did not appreciate King’s views on the rights of women in society, much less within their churches.

Both Mr. Smiley and Laotse speak to the creative tension between powerful prophecy and effective redemption. The strength of prophecy for redemptive effectiveness, to support regenerative change, becomes compromised by cultural dissonance. Too much cognitive dissonance is dismissed as insanity or marginalized as appropriate for the saint and martyr, but not realistic for universal human nature. Yet as redemptive comprehensiveness is softened, contained, diminished, the prophetic voice is softened for more confluent ears.  Regenerative potential can be largely residual potential; less incarnated.

The cutting edge of regenerative optimization is a rationality that ebbs the flow and follows the flowing-confluent edges  around, and eventually through, the ebbing knots of cultural dissonance. Inviting society into a more rational future becomes more effective through the weakness of optimally ebbing and flowing water, energy; both listening carefully and summarizing astutely the echoes and distresses within historical and cultural trends.

 

There is nothing weaker than water

But none is superior to it in overcoming the hard,

For which there is no substitute.

That weakness overcomes strength

And gentleness overcomes rigidity,

No one does not know;

No one can put into practice.

[Ibid, p. 306]

 

Perhaps no “one” can put water’s wisdom into practice because the flow of regenerative energy is intrinsically interdependent, swelling where there is confluent and sure flow, and cautious and much slower, gently inviting more positive and inclusive discernment, where the diverse sprays of mutual dismay remain more complexly knotted. But, gentle invitation is the land of the facilitator, and not the stand-alone prophet. Active peace-making walks between these two worlds–which Dr. King did rather better than most of us.
