How Am I Not Part of You?

In which sense am I not you

and those from whom we emerged together?

What does this leave,

only those into whom I emerge toward?

If so, in what sense

does our future incarnation

transcend life and death,

and, without biological progeny,

is my ecological Self more marginal

than self-perpetuating stuff of breeders?

Do bioparents bear more mentorship authority

Evolving Messianism

Regenerative Orthopraxis as Messianic Teleological Function

 

Do Earth’s natural systems predict an emergent messianic reconnecting vocation between our natural environment and ourselves?

Permaculture Design has recently evolved from agrarian roots to notice, analyze, plan, and facilitate regenerating polycultural systems within our Interior Landscape as well as within Earth’s Exterior Landscape. Regenerative systems are living rather than static because they do not simply reiterate a prior systemic state, or Self-identity; they are more than simply self-perpetuating and self-defining systems. Regeneration, living systemic evolution, accumulates information extending from prior enculturing generations into the present. Biometrically speaking, this cumulative “permanent” information follows natural instructional messages from the continually reconciling, absorbent, salving, confluent logic of DNA/RNA development structure, and octave frequencies.

In Synergetics 2 (1979), #987.075, p. 322, Buckminster Fuller speculates that Universal Intelligence is DNA/RNA programming, the “cosmic-coordinate system to be embraced and accommodated by the epistemography of synergetics.” Fuller explains synergy as both love and ergodic, incarnating, formative incubation peculiar to living, regenerative systems. Optimal synergy and love are liminally outlined by dissonant, unsustainable trends, in both our External-organic and Internal-ecological Landscapes.

Messianic themes are culturally ubiquitous. “The state of the world is seen as hopelessly flawed beyond normal human powers of correction, and divine intervention through a specially selected and supported human is seen as necessary.” (www.wikipedia.org, Messianism) The cultural roots of messianism trace back to shamanic functions. Messianic intent bridges Earth’s degenerative dissonant suffering and loss with our future’s regenerative teleological purpose. Messianic fertility improves with multisystemic composting orthopraxis by permacultural prophets, designers, and synergetic system developers who not only practice and teach, but comprehend vocation as mutual mentorship–walking the walk together, while talking.

We need only change the messianic power source from divine intervention to integral multisystemic interventions growing out of Basic Attendance, or positively deviant noticing. Positive deviant mindfulness explores appositional relationships between ecological and economic values and disvalues within a stressed, sub-optimizing, environment or population.

Our shared messianic goal, as a species of permacultural mentors, is to optimize harmonious regenerative values, by actively encouraging our demons to diet; reducing dissonant disvalues and unraveling chaos, with over-stimulated trends toward monopolistic and over-crowded silos of marginalization and discontent; the weed-patch. Regenerative polycultures, Edenic homes and gardens, optimize with inclusively balanced values, functions, grace, incarnation, reconciliation. Intervention design analysis looks for tipping points and redundantly harmonious efficiencies in flow, function, form and pattern sequence.

Regenerative orthopraxis embraces a mutual-mentor “calling,” a creative exterior and interior  mindfully developing adventure in compassion. Deep permacultural ecologists follow a wu wei  ego-discipline toward a (0)-sum inclusive economy, a Win-Win strategic ecological vocation shared by all living cells.

For most of us this is about learning how to live a more cooperative and ecological life hoping to serve the well-being of our grandchildren’s grandchildren, as served by our grandparent’s grandparents, elder species and genetic cousins, stardust, back toward our Original Meaning as future’s polyculturally blooming Omega Point.

We evolve as messianic global interns born of, by, and for Earth’s teleological incubation.

Tao of Strategic Challenges

There is the maxim of military strategists;

I dare not be the first to invade, but rather be the invaded.

Dare not press forward an inch, but rather retreat a foot.

That is, to march without formations,

To roll not up the sleeves,…

There is no greater catastrophe than to underestimate the enemy

(Laotse, #69)

 The word military does not fit with Laotse’s overall intent to talk about dispute resolution. Clearly he sites territorial and proprietary issues, so maybe this is a “maxim of ownership strategists,” which would include defensive and offensive strategies to maintain and re-establish natural balance.

Not being the first to invade goes back to a wu wei principle of mutually cooperative subsidiarity as an ecological systemic norm. Think and act like an eco-cell within a healthy organism; not a cancerous ego-center. To invade is to challenge existing ego/eco value balance. To be the invaded might more fully translate as “become empathetically focused on the challenger’s perspective, values, positions—try to find them within yourself until they have resonance.” Maybe try some reverse role play, like preparing for a debate team.

 “Dare not press forward an inch” means do not even appear to react with ego-resistance. Ask for nothing that might lead to ecological imbalance, “but rather retreat” might look like inviting your challenger to agree with you to an equitable Win-Win resolution, defined as no one allows the other to walk away while feeling they have just lost a positive opportunity to incarnate wisdom.

 “March without formations” may have some reference to Laotse’s primary attraction to natural flow functions. Solid forms lack the flexible flow functionality for evolutionary economic change that one might find in a river, or even a tornado, if you have something more revolutionary in mind.

The title of this poem, Camouflage, is what a Buddhist might think of as Basic Attendance, which has a mutual gratitude understory, or gestalt, understanding each moment as having positive opportunity potential. Basic Attendance, in oppositional and other forms of dissonant, wild, crazy environments, begins with exposing our vulnerability, our fluidity, our confluent intention, a disciplined humility of balanced ego/ecological consciousness.

 “To roll not up the sleeves” reminds us to never show our fist even to our own internal need for self-passion. Laotse mentors non-violent multisystemic communication praxis; most certainly not aggression. He explores the paradoxical orthopraxis of breathing in comprehensive natural-systemic information and breathing out toward our mutually cooperative future.

“Enemy” is just wrong here. Enemies are created through lack of wise response. The word here should be challenger. In Permaculture Design we confront many challenges to optimizing Continuous Quality Improvement, ecologically balanced polycultures that show promise for sustaining regenerative life cycles. The only strong candidate for enemy status might be time, but the seasons and scales of development and design approach permacultural standards with humane ecocentric humility and reverence for the progenitive sacredness of time’s nutritionally absorbent dimensions.

Cooperative Party Platform for Diving into Clean Warm (but not too warm) Water

The Tao Te Ching guides rulers, whether we are rulers of only our own selves, or caregivers for children and elderly family members, or a Governor, or CEO of the Ford Foundation or Ford Motor Corporation, the Prime TrimTab Principle of wu wei optimizes confluence, or contentment, by minimizing dissonant interference. A great deal has been said already about wu wei’s incarnating as a laissez-faire self- and other-governing practice. But, “laissez-faire” is to non-violence as mutually subsidizing subsidiarity is to well-integrated pacifism.

We have active non-violence (Yang) and passive non-violence (Yin). Active non-violence is to be practiced only as Positively Deviant from our eco-dislogical systemic norms. Active non-violence responds only to unnatural ego-eruptions into our cultural DNA environment and economy. When and where ego-normics conflict with balanced eco-logic, then active non-violence is an appropriate wu wei response.

Ecological, or permacultural, candidates for Cooperative Party endorsement want balanced DNA enculturation for regenerative governing intent and practice. Strong candidates will stand out as Positive Deviants within an overly competitive ego-normic culture, economic systems, and political processes. Positive Deviant Cooperative Party nominees will demonstrate well-balanced DNA permacultural practice for themselves, and intent for those they care for.

Some questions that we might all ask ourselves before considering public office, or even private regenerative capacity:

Am I more concerned about building a better regulatory and investment environment for self-composting toilets and humanure, or for corporate profiteering banks?

Am I more concerned about keeping my non-blue trash can as empty as possible or about keeping my checking account as full as possible?

If I don’t compost, how do I feel and think about that? Same thing for gardening.

Do I live in a place that would be more comfortable in an exclusive gated community, or in a diversely polycultured forest? Why?

What are my personal nutrition and self-care practices and concerns, issues for myself and for my family and community?

What is my transportation procedure, policy, practice and intent? How does this intersect with my (0) carbon balanced aspirations?

What and where are my financial investments? How much of my portfolio, and/or time, is invested in cooperative ecological enterprises and vocations and service networks and training and schools? Is any of it invested locally, or within my own bioregion? If not, why not? What are my barriers to smart ecological investment of resources?

What have I done to participate in and support cooperative ecological employment and residential and learning economies?

You will undoubtedly come up with your own better questions, but these were enough to reassure me that our Cooperative Party will not be nominating me for any embarrassing public exposure. I am just not Positive Deviant enough.

 

The Cooperative Party drew up a character profile of their ideal candidates for elected office.

Cooperative Party candidates run their campaigns the way they hope to generate public policy and inclusive procedural justice. We are looking for excellent ecological economists and regenerative system analysts, mentors, and facilitators.  If you cannot demonstrate at least moderate levels of accomplishment as regenerative ecologists within your personal, familial, and community life, then please do not come to our Cooperative Party, we will all be miserable in your depressing company.

 Important regenerative ecological indicators, for your self-assessment:

Personal Health Care

You exercise and feed your mind and body with nutritious choices, promoting well-being of taste, feelings, balanced eco/ego intentions, sounds, sights, and smells, and relationships, too, as possible while retaining positive environmental goals for including diversity of cultural and economic values within your daily and weekly formation.

Familial/Kinship Care

Your approach to primary relationships demonstrates profoundly inclusive peaceful-loving intention and compassionate mindfulness. Disagreements about values and priorities are recognized as important teachers, mutual learning opportunities for growing in understanding and potential confluence. Flexibility in positively framing and managing internally competing values, ages, gender identities and preferences, access to resources, security ,integral integrity, recreation and rest, learning and mentoring praxis are all germane experience for sustainable outcomes within the Cooperative Party.

Community Vocational Experience

If you have no experience within a cooperative vocational culture, then you are not yet ready for legislative design projects. If you have never mentored a regenerative development system, demonstrating facility as a mutual feedback coordinator and summarizer and analyzer, then you have not yet legislated policy and procedure for installing a perennial garden, much less an ecosystem or nation. Ideal mature wisdom experience within shared vocational relationships would cover the full range of cooperative development from community research and inclusive project planning experience, through implementation, maintenance, evaluation, and strategic comprehensive review for further synergetic optimization, meeting Permaculture Design’s Continuous Quality Improvement Standard Principles, for regenerative systems evolution.

 Investing exorbitant currency and time in campaigning for an essentially cooperative vocation seems ineffective and counter-intuitive to this Cooperative Party. We tend to nominate those candidates who invest the least in their campaigns for office. On the other hand, we do support  candidates with resources needed for public discernment, responsive to issues cooperatively and inclusively named and framed for their Positive Deviance TrimTab potential.

Christ-Massors

I am thinking there may be an important difference between a pro-peace activist and an anti-violence protester. In a way, their relationship reminds me of that between a prophetic biosystem, like John the Baptist, and a messianic system, like Jesus of Nazareth.

Too many prophets and not enough messiahs makes for a sadly brow-beaten culture, with a beat-down Left-hemispheric dominant temporal trajectory. We emerge into Yin’s time to dance her balanced-harmonics, singing folk-ballads with intuitive ecological choreography.

Anyway, I spend way too much time protesting my violent cultures, environments, ecosystems with overheated climates. It is simply too easy to be against violence, because no one is pro-violence, no one wants to overheat our atmosphere, our political and economic and sociopathological climates. There isn’t a Republican or Democratic, capitalist or communist or libertarian or sectarian platform that advocates violence for the sake of how great violence is in and of itself. So, protesting our own already-disvalued violence doesn’t appear to be a really strong platform for the would-be Prophet of Peace.

So, this seems to bring us into the reverse frame, our cultural values and disvalues around growing and maintaining a more peaceful ecology and economy. Here is where we start losing potential allies, primarily through neglect, because we are so,… I don’t know,… ACTIVE protesting against those who believe their self-interests might be compromised by cultural and financial shifts toward cooperatively systemic peaceful, inclusive, diversely sustainable value functions and flow frequencies. If I pay my mortgage quite nicely building submarine parts and information technologies, or research that might be useful for strengthening our self-defense systems, in some eco-dislogical way, then I am going to experience some cognitive dissonance about this. It will be very risky for short-term goals, goals that are now lifetime bucket lists, to hear prophets against people like me who are somewhat less pro-peace than self-appointed as “I’m better baptized in ecological value Orthodoxy than you are!” Messengers.

Again, for the second time, we sub-optimize our messianic intent by using too-unprophetically ineffective messages. Enough with the negative campaigning already! Let’s keep growing this newer messianism for peace and inclusive equity and sustainability through clearly articulate mentoring, confining our teaching tendencies to something that feels more like story-telling or show-and-tell. And maybe even some stand-up comedy, on occasion. Laotse said he intended his Wisdom to invite laughter in response, from those who most deeply understood his poetry.

Perhaps we could demonstrate how useful submarine technology might become for researching how schools of fish need not learn how to move and surge and ebb synchronously, peacefully, equitably, because they appear to be wired to the same functional frequencies, regardless of spatial separation, and is this somehow related to those appositionally displaced quanta or QBits, or whatever they are calling them these days? This is a big issue for me! Seriously!  I would like to know if that’s just a coincidence or do both of these freaky flow adjustments point to some deeply-rooted Pro-Peace Sustainability Awareness of ecological and permacultural stability strategies. Do plasmatic neurons somehow enthymematically intuit abundantly cooperative temporal-flow systems and network dynamics, perhaps by largely neglecting to get their more egocentric systemic surroundings all riled up, and once more further over-heated?

Messiahs and Shambhala Warriors and the Salvation Army are actively pro-peace and justice  confluent, cooperative, developmental, regenerative producers and mentors and absorbent, positive-teleological nurturers, feeding smooth-structured systems and networks that present lowest long-term ecological and economic risk for global investment. This could be why our shared messiah vocation is ideally responsive to polypathic, positively deviant, ecosystemically logical, economically-efficient mentors.

Now see, that’s where Jesus messed up. He gave control of his economy to the one guy who was willing to compromise on keeping peace in the family of disciples, and not at all inclined to derive investment plans holonically, much less by mutually grateful consensus. Optimal messianic mentors understand, feel, the skill of dynamically facilitating positive teleological trends within themselves, their families, communities, species, cultures, economies, ecosystems, ecotherapies, and Earth.

This Christian Messianic Inspired Event reminds me to pursue EarthTribal Peace with more dancing in reiteratively emergent diapraxis  story-circles, less violent driving and marching and shopping in over-heated public squares.

Dr. Beaver’s Win-Win EcoTherapy Game

So, this year our Permaculture Communications Class project will hope to design a cooperative, yet fun, EcoTherapy Game. We will do this together, but let me give you some ideas that came to me in the middle of last night’s full moon cycle. So you know this is going to be good, right?

OK, what if we cast Information issues within a hierarchy of discernment authority to defer to nutritious health and economic prosperity values. So options available are restricted by giving preference to those that are at least positive/negative value balanced in both ecological and economic categories. This should have the effect of minimizing loss, pain, suffering, and dissonance, using normative Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) binary system standards, for positive value optimization, using Bayesian trend analysis.

Now, this is a Win-Win gaming frame, so we prioritize positive information value power and authority by using a principle of mutual lowest subsidiarity default. So, if a Win-Lose value issue dispute arises at the individual level, then the resolution frame goes to the population of the individual’s family, if the family presents the issue to their community, then the resolution frame incorporates that family’s community, if the community cannot resolve the issue to the satisfaction of both the family and the community representatives, then the frame goes out to representatives of the State, or Province, or Bioregion, then to national representatives, and globally only in the event of a national failure to find a mutually acceptable win-win indigenous strategy, which seems likely with regard to climate change concerns, for example, but probably not quite so much about your grandmother’s unfortunate habit of carrying an unsheathed paring knife concealed in the back pocket of her dungarees. But, please notice, this game design intends to be family-based, or rooted–not exclusively marketed to those desperate 16 year olds hiding down in your basements waiting for the satellites to fall, playing their Win-Lose cosmological disaster games.

Let’s take a familiar and long-standing ethical dilemma between the individual and society: If we had a citizen who refused to pay that portion of federal taxes currently allocated toward the production of death and the destruction of property, these would probably show up in our positive ecology value column as ecologically dysfunctional, and therefore negative values; that is, death, decay, dissonance, and destruction are each an indicator of harm, disvalue, dissonant Information string-trend frequencies. These are each and all ecologically negative trend projections. So, a State regulation that appeared to the individual to be dissonant with his or her biosystem’s positive productive outcomes might also contribute to the demise of everyone’s biosystemic health and welfare. I think this might be at least a reasonably moderate level of global human collapse, probably bringing along several other vulnerable species.

Our EcoTherapy Game might involve a national resolution platform to reconsider options like permitting conscientious objectors to not pay their war tax portion so long as that same amount of currency is transparently invested for positive socioeconomic outcomes, such as cooperatives and locally controlled ecological and economic network development.

On the other hand, a socioecological pathologist, and perhaps to some extent we each participate in socioecological pathology, but some more frequently and dysfunctionally than others, brought to the justice system for violating a law, such as evading paying people in a corporation’s own community a living wage by moving production, packaging, and customer service operations to another biosystem, thereby increasing carbon footprint for transportation, and where cost of living in U.S. dollar equivalencies is much lower, thereby further eroding the value of indigenous currency, and further destabilizing the economic and ecological systems in another place. This begins to smell like taking a shit in somebody else’s water, most anybody else’s water, the further away from where I sleep the better, and would be an illegitimate Lose-Lose strategy with disvalues dominating values in both our ecological and economic categories of available options. I strongly recommend that we take off our Ecological Win-Win gaming table, any of these sociocultural and economic Lose-Lose strategies. But, carefully, therapeutically.

So, OK, where was I?  Oh yes, these ecodislogical corporate heads meet with community or state representatives for dispute resolution using a Basic Attendance positive, non-violent, dynamically reiterative, issue resolution framework. Compassionately mindful eco-therapists, both humanist and feminist, using their most inclusively empathetic positive communication and regenerative information skills, talk about, perhaps even role play, perhaps even playing the EcoTherapy Game together, demonstrate the positives and negatives economically and ecologically that they see in the corporate heads’ investment strategy, mindfully, and therefore gratefully, mentoring a hope and faith in mutually subsidiary positive dialogue and discernment. “We’re all in this mess together and we’ll all figure it out together, in a way that works for everyone. No one is allowed to walk away from this table feeling like they just lost something they really need.”

The EcoTherapist’s primary discernment function is to understand why these corporate heads behave as they do, what are the positive economic and  ecological outcomes, short-term and long-term, extending out over the next 7 generations? The negatives are self-evident and not useful to the initial stages of dialogue. Can the EcoTherapist find similar functions and dynamics within her/his own relationships to self, others, natural systems, Earth? In this light, the EcoTherapist can best mentor appropriate behavior, something they have actually done under similar ethical circumstances, that avoids violating the Golden Rule and most any other natural and evolutionary and ecological law that I can imagine, within a

Polynomial +1-Yang QBit trend analysis

magnetically balanced-as-equal to

-(Not-Polynomial) time and space information -(0)-Yin QBit 4-Based binary information processing system, CQI design standard [perhaps a bicameral cytosine processor network].

Our bicameral information analysis network will follow reverse temporal trends to optimize Win-Win scenarios and proposals, so a Global Win-Win hierarchical outcome stage of balanced +/- (0)-Core Vector cannot be achieved until every nation achieves +/- (0) value balance in both economic and ecological categories, and no nation can achieve 0-sum balance until every bioregion or state or province within that nation achieves 0-sum balance, and so on down through the community in mutual subsidiary relationship with families, and families with individuals within their families, so this Win-Win reverse-hierarchical default invests everyone in everyone else’s messes, leaving no one behind, feeling like they do not belong to what we are working on together within this EcoTherapy Game. Remember we can’t crowdsource a Win-Win Game and declare it won if even one of the players reports a deficit–a default (+/- 0) outcome for any player is no more than, or less than, what the player entered the game with. That’s more of a Draw-Draw Game. So, I don’t know, maybe our EcoTherapy Game hopes to be Win-Win at the global level, with every entity having a positive balance at the end, but perhaps a Win-Or-Draw-0-balanced Consequences is a more realistic thought, something just this side of paradise.

And, individuals could play this game in each moment of their thoughts and words and actions and absorption of nutrient choices, until they are able to strategize an eco-soul (0)-sum universe with +/- binary balance, using the Prime TrimTab Permaculture Design Optimization Standard of Greatest Abundance/Least Dissonant Loss of information and function, and frequency, and dynamic force, and gravitational flow synergy, which I think might equal positive ecological evolution in this hierarchically revolving Regenesis Theory.

Now, those of you who are taking careful notes may have noticed that reference to QBits, meaning Information Bits within a binary digital information processing system, or maybe not just that. You may also be aware that we have a lot of confusion right now about this QBit quantification of Information flow business, not to mention that whole thing about whether we have sufficiently proven that Polynomial Explicately Ordered Information is reverse-equivalent, formally, nomially, ecologically, metrically, energetically, culturally, and linguistically with NonPolynomial time and space. Some Information Development Theorists claim QBits are what is not real energy or information; others think of them more as heuristic vacuums of information at the proximate end of energy-frequency strings; absent, static, entropic, vacuous pockets within the functional dimensional perspective of observation at any one vector in spacetime. But, I think Buckminster Fuller may have also seen these positive information QBit vacuums as negative binomial knots of bi-functional frequency trend unraveling, rather like David Bohm’s ink drops, unraveling as positive spacetime information but potentially reweaving, under controlled reverse-temporal re-formative “information-memory” value assumptions.

In positive trending polynomial spacetime, these QBit knots of negentropy remain -(-P) [for Polynomial and for Positive Bayesian analytic appositional correlated dis-information] decaying information, perhaps coded reverse temporally as concave-aptic-interior by ‘within’ confluent nuclear mutual-immune-“without dissonance” structural default space-gaps. In normative RNA code development, QBit non-polynomial folds, also binomial gap-ends of vibrant-frequency information-strings, temporally infolds “closer-later-lower” OVER more “distant-earlier-higher” [probably inclusive of magnetic North as +]. Cytosine (C) functions in this prime-information codex system as appositional temporal reversal “constant not-immune” = appositively reflective of Uracil. C functions as a constant -(-)P dysfunction negative non-correlative reverse Bayesian temporal polarity within a balanced P OVER NP binomial metric assumption, rather typical of binary digital information processing systems dependent on +/- electromagnetic balanced energy frequency assumptions. If there isn’t an implied 0 for every explicate 1, then our information system itself is out of balance. This -(-) = + Information Polynomial is analogous to the dynamics of (-)Yin = (+)Yang, just as (+)Yin = (-)Yang form, function, frequency, flow, and force/power in Taoism, maybe.

So, there are +Yang QBits and -Yin QBits with temporal relative constant equivalencies within natural ecological, physical systems, like human bodies, each with its own chi-soul polarity, right through the spine and between the right and left lobes. Now, human minds try to keep all this stuff in balance, which is, according to Julian Jaynes, perhaps why our mammalian brain has pushed out some bicameral information processors, although I think our human natural version went from older Right-brain dominance to now a bit too much Left-deductive, reiterative, ego-more-than-eco-speciated-centric, languaged Western and Northern hemisphere, and male-dominant cultures, all giving historical evidence that Yang Culture and Yin Culture are still issuing exclamations about ecological wisdom v. economic serenity. Which, I think, brings us back to the ecological purpose of this EcoTherapy Win-Win Game design project.

So, what questions and concerns and resonance does all this evoke for you?
