Prescribing ReBirth with DT2

DT2 came to me, unwillingly and clandestinely,
only because he was referred by his mother,
who was concerned that he was growing up and out
to become an ego-terrorist,
and she had heard of my feminist work as ecotherapist–
so maybe her own WinWin hopes and dreams
for him
and her
and for her beloved matriarchal-fertile Earth,
could speak effectively with his WinLose terrifying games-man-ship.

DT2: You realize I think you’re a crock of shit witch
and I only brought you into this Oval Office
because that’s all my mother would accept
for Mother’s Presidential Day.

Me: Of course.
And it’s almost equally unpleasant to meet you too.
Yet isn’t it nice that you are already talking about your feelings?

DT2: Not particularly, no.
I talk about my feelings all the time.
In fact, some of my most mistrusted advisers and counselors
would like me to keep my feelings for WinLose business
under my corporate baseball cap.

Me: And it sounds like this may be why these advisers
too quickly grow mistrusted by WinLose patriotic-feeling you.

DT2: My national patriotism is not a matter of debate,
either internal or external.

Me: Yet perhaps your international matriotism
could become a matter of richer creolizing discussion,
just between us, if you prefer.

DT2: Don’t try to confuse me with your nature-spirit voodoo ways.
I told my mother
feminist ecotherapists are exactly what this nation does not need.

Me: And she disagrees with you,
and asked you to consider letting go of WinLose egocentric nationalist-patriotic you
to grab hold of WinWin eco-centric global
patriotic-matriotic bicameral ecopolitical balance.

DT2: I’m not the disloyal and sick one in this Office right now.

Me: And yet you sound so unhappy and unhealthy
and, frankly, ecopolitically WinWin dysfunctional.

DT2: To you, who thinks power is about feelings
more than controlling future corporate wealth.

Me: This is where you under-estimate your own potential.
Feminist ecotherapy speaks of both wealth and healthy feelings
as what we must,
and more or less matriarchally-domestically always have,
kept EliteLeft-Deductive/NonEliteRight CoEmpathic Trust together.
Yes I do care about the power of your passions,
both negative and positive,
both degeneratingly angry and fearful and terrified,
and regeneratively healthy and wealthy and cooperative,
but I also care about what this says to you about
our international future incarnated-incorporated-constitutional wealth
here on Earth,
where each future generation is bicamerally reborn and nurtured.

DT2: You naively give far too much power to love and cooperation.
My more stengthening experience
has been about patriarchal WinLose powers of survival
against threats of fear and hate and misguided anger management.

Me: And I can see this in your past,
as does your mother,
and your future remains a choice
to continue being over-powered by these unhealthy roots

Ecology of Educational Climates 2017

Further post-millennial dialogue with Abraham Heschel:

“The problem of our youth is not youth.
The problem is the [learning] spirit of our age:
denial of transcendence [in our homes and schools],
the vapidity of [learning] values,
[competing] emptiness in the [economic] heart,
the decreased sensitivity to the imponderable [natural-ecological] quality

Ground of Becoming

Aristotle thought happiness is the foundation of existence.
Since then, others have worried that maybe survival is closer
to their own more suffering experience.

I don’t exactly disagree with Aristotle,
or with those on the more suffering side of our species.
But, where these two come together, in my experience,
is within the context of health v pathology.

To me, happiness is the Yang-face of health’s Yin-face,
so it is these two together co-arising the foundation
of ego’s regenerative existence,
and degenerative subclimate pathologies.

In learning happy health,
life lived ever more fully,
gracefully,
positive karmically,
as in gaming,
the stress of stretching one’s offensive capacities
is reduced by the belief that we have a perfect defense.
We know there are no WinLose strategic players;
only WinWin intent.
Because we know through co-empathic experience
and the evidence of Earth’s evolution,
that WinWin always optimizes happy-health,
while WinLose suboptimizes
opportunities for developing further co-empathic learning capacities.

So too,
defensive concerns soften and languish
by constant feedback that we have a flawless happy-health offensive strategy for further WinWin learning.

In the real world
there is no more a perfectly conservative defense
against unhealthy suffering
than there is a perfectly evolving offense toward happy health.

In learning healthier living,
cognitive-affective dissonance is our defense against polypathic co-empathy,
our oppositional resistance.

Empathic happy-health psychology,
a deep awareness of our ecopolitical equivalence,
empowers Basic Attendance (0)-sum balance,
our regenerative offensive-centered listening position
for learning effectively,
balancing nurture with challenge,
by noticing our own cognitive-affective defenses,
without which we would have no radical sense of autonomous identity,
no monoculturing monotheistic monochromatic severed ego.

So too, without our primal co-empathic relationship
with our mentoring environment,
we could have no interdependent. ecological happy-health identities.

And yet,
our ego-patriotic conserving defense of happiness
remains a secondary form
in relation to our RightBrain matriotic nurturance function
of a healthy regenerative climate,
learning atmosphere,
ecological integrity of ego-resilient polypaths.

LeftBrain Aristotle thought happiness is the foundation of existence,
because his RightBrain noticed health as his ground of becoming.

The Rastafarian Town Council Meeting

Some say it began with the Jehovah’s Witnesses
ingesting sacred substances with the Rastafarians.
Others say that could not possibly be true or false.

What emerged one sultry August Town Council evening
when half the town had found some sleep:

We believe that direct and indirect health outcomes
derived from use of marijuana
are more family and community-friendly
than use of alcohol producing more pathological outcomes;
and that our economic and political policies
and procedures in public affairs,
as in private,
should reflect this shared sacred ecological belief.

Further, because we find little outcome evidence that consumption of THC
is less healthy and more pathological than ingesting alcohol,
and because we find bucket lists of evidence that THC can have therapeutic and far less addictive pathological outcomes than alcoholic beverage consumption,
we find it ecopolitically curious
that regulatory and legal support evinces more tolerance of alcohol Business as Usual
than THC busyness as sometimes unusual.

Such disparity of regulations and legal posturing
appear to suffer from Constitutional Rights Defiance Disorder,
as we compassionately expect our public sector and structures
to positively support what evinces health,
happiness,
and cooperative prosperity for all,
rather than their suppression,
making depressants more accessible than known
ecologically organic regenerative substances,
to toast the less organic degeneratively pathological substance,
which, in excess, is a poison causing death,
as compared to a more biotherapeutic holistic medicine
that has much longer,
and more spiritually,
withstood and contemplated tests of flowing nutritional time.

I cannot say from where this proposal came
but I can report why the Council passed the pipe to think about
what they could say that might fit with their own experience.

Most people learn most and best from personal experience,
we figured,
especially if we have a chance to reflect together on those experiences,
which we might choose to do right now.

Most people’s attitudes and feelings and beliefs
about health v pathology are influenced most by their own experience,
including the intake of substances,
like foods we eat,
and like or don’t prefer,
like beverages we drink and like or don’t,
and prefer nutritionally and tastefully,
like sensory outcomes of drinking alcohol and inhaling THC.

Most Business As Usual fundamentalists,
especially of the Christian and Islamic varieties,
believe alcohol is more or less not health viable
for beneficial ecopolitical outcomes,
as perhaps more favorably compared to THC.
However, most Christian and Islamic fundamentalists
do not have personal experience of either,
nor do they tend to share within families and communities
likely to learn from others’ experiential wisdoms
extending out to broader families and friends of friends.

Sadly, up to this PostMillennial time,
where there have been exceptions to such dually undiagnostic abstinence,
these have been on the side of not-quite-so evangelical cocktails.

Had we sooner leaned the other way,
inhaling THC
then talking about cooperative ecopolitically healthy outcomes
while exhaling,
well, then,
we might begin warming toward each other
and those still outside our monocultural religious walls
of self-protectionism.

As it is,
our spiritual and divine aspirations suffer
from lack of connection with our Eros-loving bodies
and lack of ecologically cooperative empowering WinWin thinking,
and ecotherapeutic climate building,
as in the newer testament gospels for community development,
transubstantiations,
transliterations,
and like those polypathic potheads over at the UU and Zen Center,
and don’t even get us started
on how much fun we had with the Rastafarian Warrior Witnesses.

The pursuit of growing scientific information,

understanding of their relational contexts,

within language and dialect and paradigm of science and conscience
and reiterative inductive/deductive reflection and discernment,
all learning choices are driven by political climates of self/other governance,
and it becomes much easier to choose to speak and learn
within a direction supported by our environment,
likely to receive economic fuel of nurturing co-investment.

Evolution of personal and familial,

and global learning

The more I read of systematic science and theology
the less logic I find in their continuing distinctions,
their supposed mutual immunity,
their difference without a difference.

They neither have multiculturally defined nor disagreed about point of Origin,

nor have we refined nor resolved all evolutionary creation stories in-between.

For me, their respective richness
is found where they most agree.

What Earth reveals as ecologic of natural systems,
the Heavens unveil as ecopolitical multicultural harmonics of con-science.
Religion calls to worship
what polypathic scientists love to adore,
mysteries of dipolar co-arising revolutions,
comprehending new economies of relationship
as never seen to love before.

Eros/Animus/Yang powers co-gravitational evolution
as Agape/Anima/Yin co-arises elational revolution.
DualDark Eros,
secret passions for blissful notnot union with sustained integrity,

Decomposing Love

Can you truly love a rock,
you’ve never directly seen or touched,
or some other relatively inanimate object,
like ego-centrism,
or a steel wall?

If so, then how is your love
different from a more unilateral “appreciate you”?

If not, then what is different between your “love”
and your “co-passions”,
compassion,
passion with and toward,
but not “passionate energy received from,” necessarily,
or, Yes! Necessarily!?

How do you know your love is also co-passion,
reiterated and returned,
however un-equivalently expressed it may be?
Is this not a matter of positive teleological faith,
of enthymematic hope,
that boundary time between stimulus and response,
before and after,
subject and objective,
identity and relationship,
in an environ-mental health that is,
by default,
setting aside mutual immunity barriers,
to more courageously and opportunistically co-habitate,
co-incident,
co-passion love,
rather than fear, anger, anxiety,
all dissonance settings of negative default,
oppressive to self,
suppressive of others’ natural positivity,
default tipping point barometer,
that the value of one positive opportunity
edges out double-binding disvalues of two passively negative non-risk takers,
hoarding against a future
more fully defended as a contentious ally of death-defying hope.

What does polyculture smell like to you?

Like rich fertile soil
under sweet wildflower meadows
surrounded by lavender bushes
and wild cherries in my mouth
and on my dripping hands,
while stomping grapes into wine
that smells as rich and fertile as maple’s golden spring sap.

How about polymorphic fragrances?

Green grasses
and wooded forests of trees,
yet also bloody metallic-boned noses
and surfing seas
and a faint whiff of well-fed farty asses.

Hmmm. Polyhedral?

Fragrant fractal fusions of surfing saltwater
on a warm sunny day
with a cool pacific breeze
caressing my nose and eyes and ears and atlantic hair,
noticing horizons as clouds
yet also other seasonable opportunities,
reasonable dialectical dipolarity,
the equivo-ambivalent center of surf Yang Inhale
with Yin Stretching Out concave…

Sounds like a good day at the beauty beach.

No, that’s the smell of polypathy,
total genius
smells like money that’s been sea-salt stored
in a very special place
by a very special someone,
wanting to invest totally in me,
each Other,
and Earth’s full Tribal health.

Polypaths smell like healthy cooperative wealth.
