The Christian-Taoist Stands Down

I was baptized as a Christian,
once or twice.
It’s not so much that the baptism ritual malfunctioned
in some series of unfortunate events;
It’s more like Taoism as my primary ecopolitical health system,
or religion,
or metaphysic,
or whatever kind of evolutionary,
perpetually eisegetical-hypothetical,
label you choose to slap on the box
you decide to keep me in,
was (0)Riginally Intended as an ego-hyphenated eco-system.

That works out well for creating hybrids of anything cultural:
Christian-Taoist,
Judeo-Taoist,
Islamic-Taoist,
Zen-Taoist, although that would be highly redundant,
Hindu-Taoist,
Zeroist-Taoist, although, again,
be prepared to fall asleep
as metaphysically orthodox ethologists debate
whatever there is of any phylogenic difference
between the Yang and Yin positions
within that notnothing nondual hybrid.

So, as a baptized Christian-Taoist,
it’s easier to see syncretic bridges between cultural faith-learning systems
with those who do use the Christian label for themselves
and with those who would adamantly declare their enthusiasm to be,
and always and forever remain,
anything but Christian.

I run into this a lot with atheists,
who are also climate health activists:

but I’m saying my Taoist sensory awareness

Supremacy of Racial EcoPolitics

A racist favors separation of races.
Racists come in two varieties,
but both behaviorally favor separation of races,
if not theoretically,
then practically,
too comfortable with past apartheid,

Racists favor separation of their race
from that of others

Choosing ProLife Magazines

I was in Nazareth the other day
waiting for a visit with my acupuncture ecotherapist.

The waiting room is minimalist-zen, I suppose.
While waiting to be invited in next,
I took a chair
with a magazine table in front
displaying two magazines,
one to my left
and one to my right.

The one on my left
was about the Democrats’ ProLife Policy,
advertising titles like
Earth’s Cooperative ReGeneration,
Climate Health Economic Opportunities
LongTerm Public Health and Safety
Becoming Beloved Communities.

The magazine on my right was the Republican ProLife Position,
as iconically represented by Wealth as Trump-Ace cards,
with titles like
Aborting Our Babies’ Future
Hot Air, Filthy Water, BurnedOut Soil
Public Health Issues Not Covered by ObamaCare.

I chose the Health Development magazine on my left
because I thought it would be more consistently
redundantly
multiculturally
ecologically
regeneratively
positively pro-life,
while Aborting our Babies’ Future Health
seemed more likely to just be another long advertisement
for negative
degenerative
anti-ecological
anti-Earth Sciences
anti-HealthyWealthy Creation Stories of Paradise Still Becoming,
rather like a Yes! magazine,
but that was a surprising non-choice
in that time and place,
within that monoculturally plutocratic condemning life
I suppose was envisioned in the magazine on my Right.

Anyway,
I will never truly know.
Just as I picked up the ProLife Left choice
my ecotherapist invited me in for our appointment,
during which s/he told me I should feel better for the next four years
knowing I did the best I could to defend against further pathologies,
and to just continue choosing Positive as ProLife ReGenerators,

v anti-ecological landscapes of further pathological
pain-in-the-neck,

against caring for the health of future babies.

As soon as s/he saw me reach for the Left,

What have others asked for?
Some precedent, including old age healthy outcomes,
could be helpful.

Some of the more popular gift requests
you already have covered,
in large part by being born into wealthy royalty,
but also endowed with those tall,
dark,
and handsome genes,
and your unusually healthy organic internal strengths
that will help you sustain your exterior beauty,
in your current masculine incarnation.

Top requests,
in no particular non-random order,
include love of power over others,
to get one’s most effectively nutritious way.

Then there is also love of power with others,
to invite our most cooperative nurturing way,
more popular with the other gender,
probably for evolutionary rhythmic reasons.

Then there are requests for fame,
although these seldom, if ever,
seem to arrive as requests for love of fame,
as this love of, perhaps more truly lust for, fame,
comes with aversions toward infamy
already well-nurtured by neglect
and, too often, even abuse of condemning parents,
habitually threatening to withhold investments
in more positive affections.

Outcomes for love of fame requests, when granted, are double-edged.
What brings powers of fame over some
also brings weaknesses of infamy from others.
Envy, you know.
Any vocation pursued for hope of fame as well-knowledged,
well-skilled,
and/or bountifully beautied,
over love of wisdom,
will attract both admirers and dissenters

The stronger this public fame
the more concomitant private concerns develop
about personal future infamy,
loss of altitude,
and, with this concern,
a growing sense of merely going through the productive motions
without sustaining nutritional consumption of positive refueling emotions,
more associated with greater love of wisdom’s healthy wealth.

In the older age end, then,
it seems we have no other rational outcome choice
but love of regenerative power-with positive reputation,
as security about my power-over negative reputation,
wisdom balancing LeftBrain’s deductive powers
over environmental understanding,
as also Elder RightBrain’s inductive powers
with ecologically co-arising ecopolitical trust.

That bicameral balancing wisdom sounds good.

Wisdom v PowerLust

Is there a difference between growing wisdom
and love of wisdom,
or are these the same?

The same,
because love and wisdom always and everywhere nondually co-arise,
so long as we have the wisdom to remain clear about what is love

of seeking power-over,
when and where only power-with could possibly result in wisdom’s wealth

Different,
because comprehensive comprehensions of wisdom

as more than sufficient for eternal ecopolitical wealth.

To become a great lover
without so much wisdom
is to become known, at best,
