The Pleasure Principle

I’m not sure what Freud’s Pleasure Principle is all about,
or was about Health and Safety;

Whether it’s in
or out,

Whether hedonistic
and narcissistic
or the mundane
secular
capitalist
corporate product
of efficient sexual therapy
and heartless entertainments.

Whether the Principle is applicable
only to secular masters
for optimal “sacred rights” experience

Or also accessible to sacred slaves
as our secularized vocation
to provide for our nasty property owners,

Whether it is the primary purpose
of capitalism’s efficient,
if ruthlessly competitive,
corporate monocultural deformation
into post-climax apathy
and cynicism
and cruel and unusual punishments,

Yet, somehow,
as I merge into this stream
of organic fossils
still miraculously refueling,

I am sure this Pleasure Principle,
Beacon of Health and Safety Bliss,
Paradise Pursuit

Could only be entered
by those wise enough to recognize
it is cooperatively
globally
multiculturally owned,
managed interfaith communion,
interdependently experienced
and multiplied

Into raptures
of organic/cosmic
internal/external climates
of and for personal

economic
ecological
theological
neurological win/win Climax

We speak from

Buddha Listening

Buddha is deeply listening

My esteemed teacher
kindly reminds me,

“To see the master
not as a [merely natural] human being,
but as the Buddha himself,
is the source [and resource]
of highest blessing.”

But,
not necessarily the deepest blessing

seeking spiritual multicultures
of regeneration.

For ecofeminists,
reincarnations of The Buddha,

Remains win/lose disappointingly dissonant
with Padmasambhava’s Promise,

therapeutic resolution

I remain unsure
of how to reliably
robustly
resonantly
resiliently
and yet autonomously distinguish
between contemplative leisure
and contempt provoking laziness.

I remain unsure
why Eastern metaphysicians,
spiritual/natural nondualistic teachers
continue to describe
ego as not only ignorant
of identity’s leisurely origins,
but also lazy-eye False;

And,
in a positive corollary,
I remain steadfastly unsure
Why ego’s experience of living Earth
is not merely an insufficiently delusional lens
but also is taught
as an unnecessary laziness of mind illusion

Blocking truer natural polypaths
and more beautiful polyphonics,
octave harmonies of sight and sound,
air and water
and tables of cooperative/competitive
electronic-fractal contents
of touch with feeling,
physical with metaphysical experience.

This confusion,
about necessary ego individuality
and unnatural EarthMother detachment,
not normal segregating experience,
insufficient multicultural health
to thrive wealthy resilient EarthTribes,

Leads to teaching Ego and EcoExperience
as entirely False
because only partially TrueHealthy
is a stumbling block
for straight white western patriarchal minds
dualistic consciousness
theoretical awareness

My Esteemed Teacher

My esteemed Rinpoche
repeatedly impresses upon me
Our humane democratic vocation
to become an enlightened individual.

Which sounds like a monoculturing lot,
for absorbent
co-acclimating residents and guests
of Earth’s cooperative hermitage,
To accomplish
in solitude,
in one semi-lifetime,
demi-deathtime.

While this seems ambiguously troubling,
I feel more at peace
whenever this Rinpoche tells a salvation story
about one highly evolved,
on a scale of enlightened
through thoroughly disempowered.

The protagonist,
usually with some environmental antagonist,
always a highly enlightened individual
with compelling curiosity
returning dividends
in deep listening for natural empowerment
as also spiritual enlightenment,
integrity’s win/win potential
not not polynomially balancing
healthiest default outcome.

Rinpoches
and student bodhisattvas
and messianic followers,
disciples and pilgrimage story tellers,
multicultural mediators
between disciples and story tellers,
polycultural healers of empirical monocultures,
nurses,
midwives,
systems designers,
ecosystemic nutritional communication designers,
