Making Earth Great Again

Do we still belong together,
long to compassion with each other
more than against?

Do we still believe
Earth is more of a regeneratively developing memory
than a degeneratively unraveling lack of cherished experience?

Can we still distinguish between
organic becoming
and autonomous mechanical being
despite over-heated and windy climates
of migrating left/right change,
global west/east
and U.S. nationalistic south v north
and non-communal ambiguous faith commitments
to commodifying capitalism and communal communion of saints
and sinners,
and anti-win/win compassionate parenting,
and not not disassociative anthropocentrism,
and chronically stressed win/lose egocentrism…

I don’t believe I have,
and you have,
and They have one right answer
to this question of compassionate solidarity’s
true and trust potential.

But I do have active faith
we could create a safe discussion
for ways we do still feel win/win healthier together
than win/lose apart,
and ways we do not,
and in-between do not not,
yet unresolved polynomials,
networking interdependent paradigms
toward healthier wealth.

I do have active hope
we could choose to hold us win/win wealthier together
than autonomously apart,

More resilient than further win/lose fragmentation
of a healthy civil democratic
liberal arts and sciences informed
by original multiculturing wombed resonance
great turning away from further degenerating
our climate woundedly fracturing
disempowering futures apart.

A lifetime of win/win conversions
comes down to how we everyday ask
and every breath and heartbeat answer
these questions,
Do we still belong together,
long to compassion with each other
more than against?

In Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged”
she paints a nationalistically wealthy saint
where also lives a monochromatically utilitarian narcissist,
sucking on attachment to fame and power
for bought and sold ZeroSum accounting Souls.

If the perfectly powerful pure patriarchal patriot
were your own Atlas father,
you might feel certain
he would prefer you grow to be Trumpian
and probably not a peace activist
vegetarian;
certainly not half-naked Gandhi.

Donald Trump
is the formerly cooperative democratic Enlightenment-inspired,
white privileged
monoculturing logical conclusion
to a now almost fully win/lose left-hemisphere autocratic disenchantment
predicting our PostIndustrial Totalitarian Revolution
and Anti-Christian
Anti-Islamic
Anti-Spiritual Experience
dogmatic left-commodified hemispheric Rapture;
not to be confused with Rabbi Heschel’s left with right integral
spatial wonder regenerating timeless awe.

Donald Trump
as the shrugging Atlas UnPresident
of boring old-fashioned cooperative win/win spiritual hopes
and global fake-fundamental ego
non-conservational
win/lose ecopolitical
monocultural aspirations,
And yet also,
a shadow perhaps,
of ecological/theological respirations,
still silent speaking against his predator rights of wealthy nations
in his “Art [and Reductive Science] of the Deal.”

Nowhere, in his Chapter Two,
“Trump Cards: The Elements of the Deal”
will we find any value for win/win ego/ecological cooperative evolution;
Like the evolution you and I have
every left-hemisphere dominant day
and right-hemisphere prominent win/win night.

While climate restoring Schumacher activists
advocate Think Small,
Trump begins with “Think Big”
and autonomously take out win/lose contracts
against a more civil win/win empowering multicultural society
with explicit constitutional commitments
to natural/spiritual Enlightening nondualistic prosperity,
well-being
global,
and national,
and communal,
and familial,
and personal health/wealth care.

“Protect the Downside
and the Upside
Will Take Care of It[My]self.”
In this second Trump principle of the Big Deal
we see more the science and math of his egocentric,
monoculture supremacist,
anthropocentric terrorism;
His prejudice against God’s weak and vulnerable migrants
outside U.S. borders,
and illegal immigrants inside U.S. borders.

Here, in TrumpLand of win/lose zero-sum dealmaking,
healthy diversity is anti-natural
and ‘bad boy’ bullying sacred law and order
assumed to be an appropriate response
to a pernicious communioned interdependent threat
to wealthy monoculturing uniformity–
never mind about polypathic right/left integrity.

The entire global biodiversity of regenerative species
gloriously together sing out, and in,
restorative win/win peaceful creolizing anthems,
to the contrary-reversion principle
yang/yin
win/win polyphonic re-integrity.

“Maximize your [EgoCentric] Options”
by never getting too attached to winning just one deal;
Yet do remain ego-invested in autonomously winning all deals,
all places and spaces,
all the time
reinvesting in left-hemisphere dominance
as if a fully universal map
for an unbalancing ego-uncentric territory.

“Know Your Market”
instinctively overpowering
and repressing right-hemispheres
preferring win/win co-investment
in the healthier contagion of compassion,
peace,
possibly even democratically-held joy.

“Use Your [Either Win or Lose] Leverage”
rather than return to compassionately empower
our healthiest democratic win/win co-leverage,
capital co-invested leverage,
cooperative employee-ownership leverage.

Notice that “Use Your [access to capital wealth] Leverage”
sounds quite different than Principle 11
in David Holmgren’s
“Permaculture Principles
and [Poly]Pathways Beyond Sustainability”
where cooperative permaculture designers
actively caution each other
not to assume you
and/or a nation-state
are on the right health track
just because it is an overly wealthy
beaten-down pathway to anthropocentrism
and narcissistic xenophobia,
“Use Edges
and Value the Marginal.”

And so this Trump v sacred cooperative economics
culture-war continues,
polyculture v monoculture,
yanging our way toward climate apocalypse
rather than a 2020 healing win/win yin/yang revolution.

Trump advocates
“Enhance Your Location”
autonomously owned for personal yang profit.
Holmgren invites us to
“Obtain a [cooperative win/win yin] Yield”
sufficient for ego and eco-empowering resilience.

Trump, Get the [EgoCentric-AnthroCentric] Word Out”
so philanthropic Atlas,
bearing the messianic suffering of Earth,
now degenerates into self-glorifying President Narcissus.

Trump, “Fight Back.”
Holmgren, “Integrate Rather than Segregate.”

Trump, “Deliver the Goods,” as fast as possible.

Which seems like a better place to end
than the Conservative Science
of Making the Trumpian ShortTerm
Win/Lose

Deal.

Cultures,
including business cultures,
and democratic public sector cultures,
are either multiculturally healthy
or monoculturally pathological,
or somewhere in-between
integrity and audacious mendacity.

Rugged Crosses

For me,
but not for my kids,
it was The Old Rugged Cross
teaching my ego/eco-logic crossed
to believe adults could deprive their Earthly minds
of sacred co-passionate investment
and yet thrive uniformly healthy bodies
of equitable wealthy,
yet sacrificially lonely,
dignity.

Not until I uncovered
The Blessings of the Earth and Sky (K. Patton, J.S. Bach)
did I think to wonder win/win why
Earth and sky, crossed and yet recovered
more resilient Earthly bodies together, than apart,
with skyward polyphonic minds soaring
not uniform aspiring
prey avoiding predators
yet unity inspiring Earth’s communal co-relationships.

How ever did we get this strange left-brain nightmare,
wealthy bodies
can be severed,
crossed out
away from mental passion for health,
co-responsive
interdependent webs
of Earth and Sky
secular and sacred,
liberating science and liberal multi-enculturing arts,
integrity’s double-crossed communion
of Earth’s original healthing wealthy purpose.

Sometime During the Night

Sometime during the night
I knew what was more right
to sing our songs
with great yang might
and soft yintegrity’s not wrongs.

We could sustain our notes
within this singing circle,
whether loud or soft,
but not too soft
to slowly feel our pitch
veer yinly flat.

Whether bright or dull,
vibrato or flat-line pure linear
waves of yang/yin sounds
to hear
to uniformly match dipolar
co-arising
and multiculturally mixed.

Then, as we listen and sustain,
we are free to retain our interdependent voices
of dissonance and confluence,
of dissent and harmony,
of resistance and peace,
and also free to change
toward growing harmony
or growing disharmony.

And, as we listen for re-alignments
in our ego/eco-voicing stream of time,
we grow free to hear with right-hemispheric wholeness
of our collective chord changes,
fluctuations,
together soft,
now growing louder,
softer,
bolder,
more peaceful
until fading into silent joy,
listening to our echoing after-ring power
of collective yang/yin reweaving memory.

We are no different,
on our better win/win communicating days,
of listening to curiously understand
than actively speaking out and up
for ego/ecological resilience
timelessly echoing,
both vibrato and flat-line
peacefully ever mountain/valley after.

Co-empathic passions
like hearts with flowers,
mothers with soft sunny spring shower days,

Develop interdependent webs
of both/and intimacy,
like bodies with loving minds
wrapped around loving partners

Regenerating love life
lived win/win optimally well,
like an organic ecofeminist farmer
dancing nutritional poetry in fertile field
re-membering heirloom beauties,
present cooperatively developing family,
present within seeds of future generations
and past polypathic nutrient nurturers,
enculturers of win/win multi-regenerational health.

Upon our ego deathbeds,
this great terminal either/or culminating identity event,
this both/and co-passioning quality opportunity
of left-mind’s secularly embodied health
and right-mind’s sacred wealth
reconnect with passionate interdependent Others
resiliently mattering most
both/and resonantly intelligent
within Earth’s continuously emerging
win/win
health/wealth multiculturing opportunities,

Co-passions inviting imperatives
of flex-stretching both/and attachment
live better lives,
healthier inclusive loves.

Yet
capitalism and patriarchalism
learned by left-brain dominance
where balancing right-brain ecofeminist prominence
could better drive our co-passioning polypathic train
of historic healthing events,

In which win/lose capitalism
invites us to over-invest in ZeroSum competitions
for disempowering Other’s co-passions,
rather than inviting reinvestment
in emotive connection,
ZeroSoul timeless inter-relationship

Despite epic nutritional growing years
of oxytocin both/and evolution
to relentlessly nature/spirit quest
yin-belonging
integral intimate organic connection webs,

While Yang too-autonomous monoculturing supremacy
resists redefining wealthy people
as those healthy enough
to not need either/or left-dominant
ZeroSum ego-identified
anthropocentric predation over Others,

Building a dispassionate monoculture of either/or cognitive fundamentalism
is at radically compassionate both/and odds
with any interdependent organic multiculturing body/mind
secular-biological/sacred-ecological interdependent
EarthMothered identity.

Finding Joy

Even better than finding joy
is not losing communion.

I find my most resilient joy
unfolding my larger healthy identity
commonly rediscovering contentment
in my own here/now coloring skin
on this our cooperatively managed soil
and water
and air
and fire
within Earth’s co-passionately healthy climate.

I find a secular natural
yet sacred spiritual
space inside
where we have interdependently recreated joy
absorbing
mutually digesting
ingesting both pain and gain,
egocentric threat of mortal
either live or die
loss,
anthro-hubris of either ego-healthy win
or eco-wealthy lose
suffering.

My joy grows most resilient
when ego understands healthy both/and dipolar life
ego/eco bi-centering Earth-loyal service,
our healing objective for all life systems
beyond my egocentric own identity’s mortal failure
to thrive with inviting personality.

To uncover joy
through Earth’s timeless life regeneration;
that is my healthiest secret
of robustly wealthy happiness.

Even better than finding joy
is not losing both ego
and eco
yang with yintegral
communion.

It has been said

with leftbrain’s Survival of the Fittest
without rightbrain’s ecosystemic health roots
in Thrival of the Fittin-ingest,

and other systemic ecologists,
would later call interdependent co-acclimation,
and Jane Gordon politically theorizes
rare histories of win/win creolization
with much healthier outcomes
and wealthier too,
than leftbrain’s fascination
with wealth-acquiring colonization.

Foolish leftbrain dominance,
so unaware history has regeneratively concluded
there is no lasting resilient wealth
without ecosystemic EarthClimate health.

Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations
produced similar unease
about evolutionary theories
denying the primally obvious
Health of Interdependent NationStates
through robust natural/spiritual Earth consciousness,
co-passioning double-binding nonduality,
like bipolar either Yang or Yin of reductive ZeroSum reasoning
and dipolar both Yang with Yin of inductive ZeroSoul co-nurturing.

While Adam Smith’s leftbrain wrote,

was feeling,

anthro/eco-systemic life

deductive/inductive
unfolding explicate/refolding implicately co-arising
win/win binomial ZeroSoul compassion with Earth.

is also rightbrain’s resolution
both + and (-,-)0-Soul,
like positive psychology polynomials
equivalently health/wealth valued

neurologically interdependent polypathic web systems,
inviting both wealthy rightbrain polyphonic co-passion
