Mother-Son Happy Talk

I said to my son,
He said back to me,
To be honest with us,
I’m worried

We want to be happy
while bypassing disciplines of left-brain healthy
is not too right-brain cooperatively sappy.

But, after my ancient lifetime of trying
directly for prosperous happy
that may or may not lead to left-brain healthy,
that may or may not lead to right-brain wealthy,

I hope you can benefit
from what we redundantly say,
more than what I’ve actually done
in front of you
and behind your back,
confronted you,
denied,
and what I’ve failed to take left-with-right back.

We want to be happy
and to win wealthy left-brain ego-fame
however flashingly synaptic
even at the price of ignoring natural/spiritual resilient healthy
is not all that win/win polyanna maniacally sappy
nor lose/lose despairingly immoral crappy

So I have done
and we long to be done
with such lose-happy and lose-wealthy self-prophetic life confusion
profusion
contusion,

Of unhappy cognitive left
and disaffected unwealthy right
dissonance

provokes short-term wounded choices for mere satiation
because long-term resiliently healthy happiness
feels too right-brain prominent sappiness
suffering left-brain crappiness

Both un-together remaining mutually blind
to integrity of global win/win GoldenRule manners,
uncrappy and unsappy,
too remotely not experienced on our shared big mainframe
but maybe flimmery-glimmers of light emerge
in more everyday lighter healthy,
wealthy,
and wise here/now
space/timeless moments.

To be honest with you,
I’m worried
we want to know abundant happiness
without accepting and committing to our win/win integrity
as ego/eco-systemic

Which I think everyone would regeneratively agree
is not too sappy

Wait A Minute!

Did I hear that wrong?

On my way for another appointment
with the vampire bleeding Quest,
big stage conversations on the radio
travel way too fast
for me to stay tuned in
at my normal liberal-conserving pace.

A single new mom
is surprised to learn about herself.
Her post-parted mother self
is less excited about getting back to work
out in the “real world.”

Wait a minute!
When did the real nurturing home environment
become the unreal world?

Back when most of us were serfs
and slaves,
shipping clerks
and slap-happy farmer families,
wasn’t family life cultural realness?
And outside employment
our unreal
mechanistic crazy ant-nestedness?

When and why did that turn
right side down?

Then she argued,
without waiting for slow to learn me,
against those who blame the childcare victim
by challenging employers AND employees
to do better
balancing work and home life
with bi-transcendent presence.

She finds this adds undue bilocation pressure
on parents to find ever more efficient
and effective employee-parent balancing acts
in multi-tasking lack of fully engaged bicameral presence.

We need systemic change,
she says,
although I fear that’s what Donald Trump would also say,
in another UnReal Wounded World’s competitive runaway favor.

Wait a minute!
Don’t throw out the new-balancing baby
with our dirty economic laundry water!
Don’t argue against Ego/Eco balance needed
to embrace, again,
healthy Cultural Balance.

A culture so out of balance
that competitive Win/Lose economies
now monopolize our encultured RealWorld,
and cooperative Win/Win parent/child empowerment
has become privatized UnReal Healthy CounterCulture.

Then, less than a minute later,
Republican spokespersons
described President Trump as vindicated
by Mueller’s executive report
finding insufficient information to prove collusion
with Russia
and/or obstruction of justice
within America.

Wait a minute!
Is no proof of colluding with a violent
totalitarian
kleptocratic regime
threatened by our flagging healthy transparent democratic culture
and cooperative Win/Win mutual empowerment,
really vindicating
an out-loud vindictive plutocrat
too smart to go to Vietnam
and too slick to campaign for principles of un-commodified love and integrity
rather than against recession of pathological hate and mendacity?

First, he said Russia
was helping Hillary in the voting booths
of 2016.

Then, when it became clear some foreign agency
was trying to help him by hurting her,
He said it wasn’t his good buddy Putin
or his Allies.

Then, when it became clear
it was Kremlin-sponsored interference,
He said, repeatedly, No Collusion!
because his campaign knew absolutely nothing
about anything
(which, out of context, sounds plausible).

Then, when it became clear
his campaigners did meet with Russian representatives
offering to do the political nasty
to Hillary,
He said, just “No Collusion!”
without qualifiers.

Then, when it became clear
the Trump campaign had nothing to say
about having met, without reporting, foreign agents
involved in dirty propaganda tricks
in U.S. media markets,
He still said only “No Collusion!”

But, wait a minute!
Now we have been asking
why wouldn’t a patriotic nationalist leader
true-blue military industrially empowered
not jump out of his white privileged skin
to be the first to squeal on the bad bully guys
for playing mean loser-take-all
disempowering undemocratic politics?

Wait a minute!
Short of transparently unveiling how the Trump campaign
proactively attempted to let everyone know
these hostile actions taken
against the integrity of our democratic electoral system
for RealWorld informed voters,
how is No Collusion! (probably)
sufficient to vindicate
some nationally elected leader of a wounded democracy
apparently intent on breaking all Ten Cooperative Commandments
as shamelessly as possible?

Wait a minute!
What happened to obstruction of healthy restoring-trust
bicameral justice?

By the time I returned home
to my RealWorld,
I was already exhausted
trying to keep up with
a patriarchally privileged
Win/Lose
UnReal
left-unmindful dominant brain
right-mind suppressed
with monoculturing
colonizing
secularizing
privatizing
narcissistic bullying intent.

I wonder
in powerful awe

These questions came up
when I was looking for a dissertation topic
for InterReligious Dialogue and InterNational Diplomacy.

My Big Question statement began:

The technology and philosophy of dialogue,
diplomacy,
conflict resolution,
restorative justice,
peace-making,
non-violence,
WinWin solutions,
derive from philosophy,
theology,
natural and social sciences,
and perhaps even abstract psychotherapeutic geometrics.

Rather than asking the more classical academic questions
of how are public health empowerment resources
better and worse than each other,
how do they best practices differ?
Perhaps it is more fruitful to diversely
and interdependently
compare these health/pathology paradigms
to search for their most resilient therapeutic WinWin communion
and wealthy holonic promise.

And so I began inviting the widest,
most diversely multicultural, dialogue
about what are our highest health and therapeutic priorities
for cooperative people
who understand godliness and/or Gaian-ness
as at least sufficient power
for synergetic integrity
to generate light
out of nondual darkness.

Which, on living Earth,
has produced some astounding evolution of compassionate grace history,
polycultures,
polyphonics,
polynomial WinWin communication,
polypathic ways
and ego/eco-balancing
and cooperatively centering means
to godliness
and/or Gaian-nest integral hypotheses.

These questions came up as I was looking for a dissertation topic for Euclid University’s PhD in Inter-Religious Dialogue and International Diplomacy.

On Euclid’s website we read something about what this is all about:

“Interfaith diplomacy is an important and new emerging field of research, notably in view of ongoing inter-religious [Win/Lose] conflict, mass migrations [not unrelated to climate change, and trending in that further unfortunate pathological Lose/Lose direction], and grave issues related to radicalization [and concomitant economic and political concerns of growing belief and behavior and investment in apartheid, monoculturing silos, self-ghettoization, and viral tendencies toward Lose/Lose rabid climates of disintegrating terrorism, dualistic nature v spirit theologies, degeneratively entropic absence of robust cooperativity—lack of Win/Win systems thinking, integral multicultural dialogue and design—fading polycultures of democratically liberal love and economic/ecological health development through Win/Win creolization rather than more Business As Usual Western commodification of sacred, integral, holonic, nonsectarian, interdependent Earth].”

So, when I was invited to present a dissertation topic, I suggested:

The technology and philosophy of dialogue, diplomacy, conflict resolution, restorative justice, peace-making, non-violence, WinWin solutions, derive from philosophy, theology, natural and social sciences, and perhaps even abstract psychotherapeutic geometrics.  Rather than asking the more classical academic questions of how are these better and worse than each other, how do they differ, perhaps it is more fruitful to diversely and interdependently compare these health/pathology paradigms to search for their most resilient therapeutic WinWin communion and wealthy holonic promise?

Using a combination of Systems and Game Theory, I have a dissertation interest in looking more closely,

with a local interfaith community of ecological/theological dialogue, at any two or three of the following sources to see how their analogical mapping (Gregory Bateson, Ecology of Mind) might combine to inform a robust nonsectarian healing process for Earth’s wounded economic and political climates, natural and spiritual, secular and sacred, and how we might enter into a secular/sacred non-sectarian health-and-climate-care implementation cooperative mission for healing our local Earth, wounded plants, and EgoLeft/EcoRight

To my surprise, this Win/Win cooperatively facilitated research proposal was rejected as not germane to the purposes and implementation focus of the Win/Win Inter-Religious Integrity Dialogue and Public Resilient Health Diplomacy PhD program, with stipulated intent to remain responsive to a United Nations cooperative Win/Win Earth Health Service training project to derive the most resilient terms possible for global co-investment.

So, instead of facilitating a local inter-religious and international dialogue, which would be expensive, sacrifice some trees, burn some gas and oil, it occurred to me to invite you into an even larger community of dialogue about what are our highest public and private health priorities for multiculturally cooperative people who understand godliness and/or Gaian/Marian EarthGoddessness as at least sufficient power to intend enough cooperative integrity for generating light out of nondual darkness.

Which, on living Earth, has produced some astounding evolution of compassionate grace history, and some other, darker herstoric repressions.  Even so, we each seek to facilitate and mentor polycultural resilience, polyphonic resonance, polynomial Win/Win communication, polypathic ways, and ego/eco-centering means toward divinely-humane healthy truth of wealth-abundant beauty. Or so it seems to me, which is why my answer is:

To co-facilitate good faith integrity of Earth’s vast health/wealth potential.

Dubious Differences

What is the difference between a Rescuer
and a Facilitator?
A codependent
and a resilient health-enabler?

Why?
If we insist we must have at least one,
What is a difference
between a pan-sectarian Messiah/Bodhisattva,
a co-inviter into health-fertile mutual service
And, a compassioned co-facilitator,
an eco/ego-therapist,
An Other/Self-cooperative healer?

As for the first,
I look for a distinction,
unconscious or not,
between LeftEgo’s self-dominant intent
for internal wealth-serving service,
growing more fame and less infamy,
more adoration and less apathy,
self-rescuing from an anonymous pit
of unprominent history;

On the other hand,
the Facilitator is an equal opportunity rescuer
for both Ego and Ego’s healthy EcoHabitat,
including planet,
animals and plants and people,
foreign forests and HereNow complex technocratic cities,
far away deserts and internal oceans of motion,
former golden days and still perpetual nights,
past nutrition and future health,
ancient tribes and future families.

As for differences
between sacred CoMessiahs
and eco-over-ego secular therapists,
perhaps the difference between an integral spirit of abundant faith
and a robust soul for healthy and humble HereNow agnosticism,
like John Rawls’ vulnerable veil of self/other unknowing,
perhaps this is one of those distinctions between metaphysical identities
without a RealTime physical nature difference,

The dubious difference between non-violent sacred communication
and enthymematic,
nondual-WinWin,
secular co-passionate discernment,
between LeftBrain active hope
for future cooperative healthy-wealth understanding,
and RightBrain historical faith
in ancient wealthy-health tribal experience

DNA’s secular/sacred nonsectarian history
of rescuing ourselves
from dubious
dead-end
unhealthy differences.

What’s the difference between what’s metaphysically uplifting
and what’s physically integral,
interdependent,
synergetic?

Maybe both are heavier
and one promises to co-arise lighter?

Taking Healthy Opportunity-Risks

A liberal love-mind
sees Earth’s nurturing eco-nest origins
astoundingly opportune for producing healthy ego-nutritional eggs.

A more conservative eco-political risk taker,
faced with ego’s opportunity

to autonomous ego’s long-term survival
