GreenPower Dreams

Last night I dreamed.

I dream–

sometimes too athletically,
fertile regeneratively,
viral, positive and negatively
and in-between sub-climax performing
some wins and some perpetual losses
more ambiguously back and forth, up and down, in and out,
and not nearly sensual enough–

every night,
Full through new moon great transitions
of climates black and brown deaths mattering
and terrifyingly splattering,
grey-scaled and white
and green despite
ultra-violet sepia
sophia health
and transparent integrity
resisting opaque mendacity
to show our hypocratic heads,
capital Lose to Lose infestments.

In last night’s dream
my mentor, Tenzin Gyatso
invited me to read his book
Beyond Religion aloud to him,
front to back,
left to right,
in my own English words,
my own healthy and toxic experiences,
green through ultra-violent red,
white nationalist entitlement,
and blue patriarchal patriotic
1950’s cultural flag-waving
commercialized jingo-bellism
about this new super scientific ZeroCentric messianic millennium
co-arising.

This left me with a whole system lot of How and Why questions.
My LeftFactual Brain was screaming about deductive obsessions
in alternating dissonant pain
and blind faith defensive denial and de-nihilistic boredom.

Mentor Tenzin seemed in no mood
to accept NoThanks! for my RSVP,
nor even Not-Right-This-Minute, please?

As I began to read beyond scientific polycultural religion,
s/he closed his eyes
and continued with his/her smile.

I think s/he likes this book
on sacred multiculturing healthy climate sciences
and neurosensory green peace research.

Strange fruit
for a Tibetan immigrant
homelessly schooled and exiled in India–
Longing for a First WesternWorld urbane ecology
Originally belonging within a small third brown MotherEarth culture
born of Buddhist health and pathology
eco-homeschooled education.

So I began near his Introduction’s top,
inviting us to
Look back over past homeless
and despised alien decades
against brown-skinned people,
to still find resilient reasons for healthy enchantment.
Through secular science advances,
some problematic social and economic and politically viral toxins
are slowly decomposing.

Tenzim opens his regenerate eyes,
still smiling,
as is his/her normal enchanting democratic constitution,
and asks me to back up,
start at his earlier revolutionary beginning
into the Genesis of Acknowledgments
inviting gratitude
for each past reader’s resilient wisdom.

And so I backed up
to continue forward:
It is my sincerely active hope
what is climate and cognitive researched here
may contribute,
in however small a cooperative-ownership way,
to building a more resiliently regenerate
and more polypathically green peaceful Earth.

Of course we are not secularly or sacredly reversing Earth’s unhealthy trends overnight.
And we will not WinWin change WinLose global culture
with a short essay
or even a longish and ancient multicultural humane-divine scripture.

Climate health comes gradually
regeneratively
through increased cooperative sanctuary ownership,
Responsible whole-system green values
will only become EarthPatriotic belonging
with WinSecular/WinSacred cooperative systems research re-education.

If each naturalLeft and spiritualRight reader
ecological/theological leader
finds any co-relational integrity written and lived here
to be of resilient being and resonant doing health benefit,
then our cooperative enterprise and co-investments
will have been trans-sectarian wellness rewarded
with inside as outside regenerate wealth.

A scientific nature
disassociated from religious spirit
is a fundamentally wrong reading of divinely inspired experience,
without immediate or long-term health benefit.
Such readers should not dissonantly feel any Right MindBody awkwardness
about graciously and lovingly setting this non-sectarian essay aside
while waiting for your personal enlightenment Rapture
rooted in climate anxiety

The apparent insanity of inmates

does not prove,

Advent Funerals with Birthdays

The coincidence of Advent
and the HW Bush eulogies
reminded me of DJ Trump’s challenge
to laugh about himself
at least as quickly as he laughs against others.

As compared to any recent US President,
he comes in dead last
for his appropriate humility,
willingness to sacredly listen, empathize with generosity,
and least place for his ability to nurture resilient international peace,
and I am not sure these two challenges
are merely side-by-side coincidental.

Other challenges seem to come with the Yangish motivation required to even become a credible candidate.

Presidential candidates
at least since the Civil War,
if not the Revolutionary War,
are not generally known for saintly sacred listening
to and for healthy multicultural developments,
domestic or foreign,
domestic and yet foreign
to those unschooled in WinWin health-power whisperings,

Noticing positive deviance
advocated and praised and blessed first well-humored,
before negative pedestrian bullying rat races continue
with all paranoid Win/Lose stripes
madly pursued by monoculturing manic political stars.

This Advent day of HW Bush eulogies
was also my oppositionally defiant daughter’s seventeenth birthday.
When I asked her for an allegorical meaning
for the Sleeping Beauty fable
she dismissed the story
as another patriarchal humorless female Messianic staple
for achieving EarthJustice happily ever after
by mere kiss of Prince Charming
after she had done all the heavy emotional lifting
required to rebuild sacred communion
with resilient good humor.

But, she is more interested in discussing Robin Hood
and Little Red Riding Hood,
all the potential messianic Hood leaders
who know predative patriarchal wolves when they see
and hear
and smell them,
even in hooded disguise,
transparently lying on their own grandmother’s bed
and Bibles
and thrones,
about being more committed to democratic good-humored healthy constitutions
advocates for sharing communion with all
before defending their own ego-centric hindquarters.

My fetal alcoholic seventeen year old daughter
knows wolves when she hears them
in government threatening humorless voices
or more entertainingly violent industrial corruption predators.

Feminist Hoods can themselves taste wolf hunger
for royal hunting and riding
and devouring innocent WinWin democratic youth,
separating them from their naive healthy multiculturing forests,
composed by
and for
and of naturally diverse and good-humored habitats.

She can smell satiated predators
growing hungry for vulnerable healthy integrity
stealing back fleeting power from Win/Lose playing wolves
by investing economic and political trust
in those still living natural-humored life
as a normal spiritually connecting re-investment.

Hooded egos still know this spiritually enchanted forest life
as a naturally reconnecting hope
for healthy happier,
more co-redemptive,
EarthJustice futures.

And so the eulogies
and my daughter’s exegetical birthday party progressed
through Cinderella’s king and queendom
at healthier humored EarthJustice hand
after marrying her Prince of Adventuring Revolutionary Peace.

On through the Three Little Pigs
enjoying shared wolf-soup communion
with all EarthTribe’s piglets and cubs,
dolls and stuffed bears
communioned while sitting down grace-fully together.

She hears this same polypathic humored journey
in every diversely sacred narrative
she leads and listens,
smells and tastes and feels
hope for Earth’s wealth
of future everyday health
for democratic constitutions,
disability stories,
eulogies inviting salvific humor.

This coincidence of birthday and funeral
reminds me of our sacred challenges
to laugh communally among ourselves
more than jeering a viral twittering weapon
against the vulnerabilities of others.

How To Enchant

I finished reading Sharon Blackie’s Enchanted Life yesterday.

Kind of a How To Do It,
a how to fix BusinessAsUsual textbook
organically rooted in animism,
I suppose a theologist
and maybe an enchanted ecologist,
might duly note.

Although animists are not distracted, usually,
by systematic theologian’s theories and conjectures
about becoming resilient sacred healthy wealth.

Animists are more practical theologians,
learning by dynamically doing
cooperative relationships
and mutually respectful reflections
on these sacred communions,
and sometimes even competitive eco-relationships
competing with MotherEarth’s sense of revolutionary timing
to build our richest sufficient time
as resiliently and fluidly as possible.

Practical theology,
like good pastoral theology,
like good non-violent communication
and being climate manifest
and becoming destiny
and doing dynamic health-skill sets,
is about how we are each called
to fix pathology,
to live every green enchanting day
by cooperatively communicating to restore
full benign being communion
and revolutionary becoming
and polypathic doing
bicamerally ego/eco
left/right
yang/yin
polynomial/polycultural
natural/spiritual practically speaking
as we make everyday bilateral choices
for our own and for our grandchildren’s enchanted thinking
and animist feeling,
seeing 2020 through both global and local EarthJustice lenses.

I do feel a little more positive
glimpsing ecstatic hope
by actively seeking enchanting justice pathways
ego-homeless
in a pilgrim journalist kind of way,
longing to fully be Here with Now,
Space with Time communal

By doing nature’s robust spirit
investing in wildly evolving forests,

Retirement Planning

Retirement planning
may feel like civilian planning
as military ballistics continue incoming
so persuasively my objective is not to win
but to get home again,
although I sadly know
home will never be that home of memory sustained
as comparative peaceful compass.

What is my therapeutic vocational problem
retiring from front-line maddening trenches?

How much remaining spacetime do I have,
does Earth have, for living rather than dying,
and why does this feel so spare time
often mere despairing,
and why “spare”
and why “mere”?

Despite books and perhaps entire libraries on human purpose,
meanings,
ethology of nature,
callings for proper industry,
organic integrity of humane function,
whether blessed by divine inspiration
or mere humane perspiration
(and, again, why “mere”?)
I find too precious
this my footnote of non-historic proportion
that my vocation may not truly ever self-optimize
through individual ongoing autonomous discernment,

But also through healthier, more robust, fabric
interdependent
cooperative
democratically woven
of loving WinWin future society

CoDefining culture having let go of Win/Lose
evolutionary violence investment theories
in favor of overwhelming healthy
regenerative retiring revolutions
of Earth’s slower-grown therapies.

This is not Weber’s mechanical society;
Retiring histories are more mysteriously woven
like an organic beehive
ornamenting a strong-rooted universal tree,
or an ant colony
preparing for winter
within an ancient-grounded sanctuary
society for future multiculturing
creolizing
WinWin enchanted colonies.

What happens when we retire
into a newly autonomous vocational choice?
When all prior spacetime investments
appear to have been apprenticeships
toward what?
Dying?
Living with more freedom
for integrity
and WiseElder slow-grown discernment?

We are so hard-pressed to say
and do
and be wise discerners for internal and external peace
when all our training has been for Win/Lose battles

I struggle to prepare for extending family love
in ever more isolating autonomy
from new life invitations.

What does my environment,
our climate,
my experience,
our story about communal health development
still respect
and hope for loving, yet active, peace?

How do we call and gather elders together
to restore this profoundly interactive peace
inside as outside as inside
Earth’s justice
re-uniting integrity
toward universal love
and away from nationalistic violent hate?

Where do secular models
and sacred maps
together tipping point
toward personal
and political
and economic
and ecological
and theological healthy meaning
today,
rooted in all our civilian yesterdays
with hope for this next regeneration
already waiting within these ancient bones
and eyes for climate healing
within
as without,
below
as above,
inhaling old impoverished retributions
exhaling new health restorations
peaceful home

Retiring developments of active hope,
remaining positive energy,
non-violent doing,
being,
communicating,
praying,
experiencing,
medicating,
meditating,
healing,
living to continue breathing in
dying to breath enrichment out once more.
