Seeking 2020 ReVision

My son, nearly twenty,

living at home while attending community college,

without prospects of healthier, more robust, alternatives,

believes it is now past time

for pollsters to cast aside their neutral professional agendas

and play a more positive role

in educating this co-invested international polity.

 

So, ask not just Who are you voting for?

but first, try

Of the nominees for President and Vice President,

and Governor and Senator,

and so on,

of these United States,

in which your grandchildren’s children

will see the day when one out of every four people

now living in coastal regions

will evacuate their homes and places of employment

before they return to the sea,

not just because we did not care enough

Preparing for the GRE

It was my plan to set aside this past week

to prepare for the Quantitative Graduate Record Exam.

 

A week ago this seemed like a big number

for ample review,

time set aside from more typical U.S. autumn events,

like electing a white male economic supremacist for President,

after having taken a 12 year break

from all those irrational remainders.

 

I have always thought math should be revolutionary,

climatic,

resonantly resolving like rainbow harmonies of scale,

profoundly correlational with geometric truths

as algebraic beauty,

and I suppose it may be all those good things

yet this week math feels suspiciously snarky and sinister,

replete with far more ways to go wrong

than right.

 

So today I was thinking maybe I shouldn’t bother

with these mysterious Quantities of testing.

Although I did well forty years ago

and didn’t know any more or less

about mathematical machinations then

than now.

 

Or so I thought

until I actually opened up the GRE review section.

When did math become so monochromatically dull,

devoid of plot

and anything resembling metaphysical charisma?

 

Soon I found the verbal questions

much more edifying.

 

Well, OK, not really that,

but more entertaining than watching formulas dry

and principles march in relentless mind-numbing LeftBrain dominant lock-step.

It took years of ecotherapy to overcome

white male LeftBrain dominance

and now, so late in life,

discovering I don’t even miss it

any more or less than zero-sum WinLose economics.

 

But, I think I will visit the Quantitative section

day after tomorrow

Say goodbye to old friends

I’ve never had occasion to use

or abuse

due to relentless negative correlational neglect.

 

It might be fun

to see if I guess as well as I used to

when I was still young enough

to believe metric right or wrong could possibly matter.

 

Now I know it’s just not true

except for statistical analysis,

which is at least as much about

the politics of subjective Electoral College economics,

as objective rules of fair and accurately cooperative procedures,

verified as reified by all.

Perhaps we might all agree

that life’s purpose appears to grow regenerativity,

recreative memories as positive

rising above, and yet within,

and both before and after,

less creative mistrusts of ambivalently evaporating health v pathology outcomes.

 

And, if self and other regenerative health

is the DNA and RNA stuff of history positive living

and the multiculturally orthodox reason for today

and actively hopeful reasons for and of tomorrow,

and all time’s future regenerations of species,

biosystemic political landscapes

with ecosystemically ecological climates,

then self and other governance began before enlightened conventions,

and declarations of freedom to regenerate powers with

through freedom from overly competitive ecopolitically powering-over constraints,

and subclimate constitutions of organic nationalistic incorporation,

but always reiterating WinWin reverse hierarchical nesting tree understory networks

of forests building biosystemic songs and dances

for and of Earth Rights.

 

Earth Rights to healthy positive

and not so much pathology negative

absence of regenerative health potential.

Earth Rights are also

self and other regenerative dipolar balance rights

and wrongs of LeftBrain dominant deductive-reductive history,

overpowering RightBrain co-empathic tree cooperatives

nurturing WinWin deep learning nutritional ecology,

compositions constituting undersung Earth Rights Proclamations,

ReFormations,

ReGenesis.

 

And so it seems we are already,

as this global anthrospecies,

some combination of anonymous and self-declaring Earth Rights Advocates,

remembering our international ecopolitical cooperative-regenerative party.

Together, each and every seasonal development year for growing health,

we erect another economic-politically empowered-disempowered ring

around our historic regenerative constitution story,

creation narratives of chaos, and complexity,

and regenerative hope to try Golden Era LeftRight Balance again.

 

Perhaps Climate Rights Advocates

as also Human Rights and Wrongs Advocates

might facilitate and co-mentor this globally cooperative ecoconsciousness,

by cooperatively schooling and gifting forward our collective investments

to globally incorporate our Earth Rights EcoPolitical Party.

From this regenerative discernment

we could realign WinWin ecology’s health

with ecopolitically cooperative wealth

and invite all the other, lesser, nationalist political parties

to listen and learn within this organic cooperative fertility

about healthier platforms for helpfully caring for ourselves,

setting aside older WinLose condemning theological models,

to care for our extending family Others,

Perhaps an on-line Earth Rights and Wrongs WinWin Game

would help national and provincially competing ecopolitical professional followers

of degenerating paranoia

learn together to lead

of Earth Tribal Right and Left TaoBalanced ecosystemic regenerativity.

 

Perhaps our colleges and kindergartens

could become ReGenerative Earth Rights Gaming Party sites

for playing and deep learning

ecopolitical as ecologically balancing recreativity

of multicultural health,

without further conserving yet more self-condemning

monoculturing egocentric pathology.

if we do agree

that life appears to be for regenerativity

as death disappears into dissonant degenerativity.

The Good Society

Is there a doctor in the house?

A cryptic message from the uniting nations, looking for yet another credentialed ecotherapist to surgically remove all our economic and political issues. Those remaining after overdosing on pharmaceuticals as media marketed through normal incorporated competitions for egocentric profit channels and parties and outlets fed by oil-fired over-heating ballistic powers.

Unfortunately, this local ecotherapeutic facilitator and mentor guild is out of rabid pathologists. They are all currently mad with medicines of and for climate illnesses, building sand bag towers across drowning coastal cities the oceans are reclaiming as their own, in their perennial rage against the continents of usurpation. Predators, with power-over monocultural intent, this tidal tug of war between productive lands and consuming seas.

But doctors are best for reacting to already raging and suffered madness, badness, while our ecotherapeutic nurses are nurturing specialists, responsible for co-mentoring regenerative public health, supporting cooperative natural healing laws and organic orders, composting richer climates within dysfunctional families as post-graduate clinical trials before they take on facilitating public-sector governing, multicultural garden uncovering, helpful-healthy community beloving our uniting nations’ polypathically extending families.

For proactively regenerating healthy societies this ecotherapeutic guild recommends our co-empathic cooperative trust mentors, nurturing Good Holistic Sciences and Arts of healing medicines. Where surgeons and psychotropic dispensing political doctors react against predative paranoid economic nightmares, our health-nurturing nurses bring deep-resonantly fired experience returning pathological ecopolitical dark night scares into rememories of multicultural Paradise Dreams singing and dancing through healthy EarthTribe childhoods.

Autumn’s Failing Consciousness

New England’s post election trees
shed a few teary waving leaves.
Morning sky tries to shine resilience
yet lingers in ominous grey overcast
of silent waiting through despair.

In Michigan and Wisconsin and Pennsylvania
tens of thousands of mothers
who cherish their daughters
are beating themselves up about yesterday;
longing for a do-over
to avoid confidence in false predictions
of safely voting their libertarian ecoconsciousness,
or too quietly staying home
to rake falling fertile leaves.

Failing leaves feel their personal mortality,
too old, over-extended, to survive another bitter winter
of ex-patriation
while maternal nurturing root systems survive through hibernation,
deeply embedding in Earth’s nutritional compost
of yeasty faith,
waiting for another Advent ecopolitical Season.

Not a branch,
not even a twig stirs from frosty lethargy
wondering Why?
Why would we decide slavery must be illegal
because immoral
yet sexual and capital and incorporated predation
remains legally and morally ambiguous,
as if wealth of male supremacist nobility
were God’s full harvest of regenerative moral gifts,
excusing by betraying grace
this fortunate entitlement
of LeftBrain enduring cockiness
to welcome this winter’s misery,
Earth’s hiatus from integrally nurturing ecology.

Hiding even the sun’s radiant morning glory
from disunited piles of leaving ballots
already preparing to fertilize richer soils
in four more autumnal climate years.

Healthy Politics, and Sex, and Religion

I hope I know what is healthy sex,
in an experiential kind of way,
in a biblical kind of way,
and I can imagine a world with healthier,
more cooperative, political empowerment,
but I am clueless about healthy religion,
which most of my friends would claim is an oxymoron,
like military intelligence.

Well, I think it’s easier to have any one of these,
if you already have the other two.

So, if I am feeling warmly resonant with my good vibe
positive political psychology
of ecologically cooperative relationships,
including those that are sexual,
which,
now that I think about it
I’m not really sure what a sexless human relationship would be.
Maybe ambivalently androgynous,
but isn’t that somehow the same thing as saying transgenderal,
and somehow that doesn’t seem sexless at all.
Anyway,
what does all that have to do with healthy v pathological religion?

What makes sex and political relationships regenerative,
and sometimes, unfortunately, degenerative,
is also what makes religions syncretically regenerative
across all Earth’s more celebratory ecosystems,
Creation Stories,
both Left-scientific languaged
and Right-artistic mythic,
divine as regenerative sacred inspiration
breathing through each moment and day
and night and death’s last eternal expiration.

Breath memories are sequential
but also consequential,
and cumulative empathically entrusting remembering
reweaving
religioning healthy politics
of Earth’s sexy sacred cooperative ecological economics.

You seem to see politics as the religious business of empowerment.

And disempowerment.

Yes, to control nutritional and pathological regenerative/degenerative trends
of multicultural and multigenerational contentment,
absence of suffering and ecological loss,

as love ultimately comprehensive

Peppa Pig’s Dilemma

Peppa Pig started a Secret Club revolution.

When Poppa Pig asked her what she was up to,
she violated her Secret rule
because she could have no politically fun Club
if her Secret began and ended only within.

Poppa Pig resonantly responded
as did her entire community of family
and their extended outward friends,
they had each secretly longed to belong
within some Secret Club
for self-and-other empowering recreation
just among their Secret ruling selves.

Peppa’s dilemma, however,
after everyone knew her Secret admission word,
was in what sense could they sustain their Secret Club
with only this one, now shared, Secret
as accessible as youtube.

Yet, forced to choose priorities,
she, as Yin is multiculturally inclined to flow,
instinctively saw and knew
a universally inclusive Club
with one shared integrative Secret love
was as abundantly happy belonging
as a hot pig jumping in cool mud puddles
with her not-so-secret piggy Club.

Love Vacuums

For this eternal moment,
setting aside imagined barriers
between ecopolitical empowerment
and psychological health,
indulge in this deeply rich Thought Experiment
that the multicultural empathic trust of cooperative WinWin strategic diplomats
is also the compassionate love of co-redemptive bodhisattva saints.

It may become resonantly transparent
why perfect love of multicultural regenerativity
cannot sustain within a toxic climate
of survival of the fittest,
competing WinLose evolutionary revolution models.

Perfect co-mentoring love
cannot exist in a vacuum
for the same reason that naturally evolving ecosystems
abhor vacuums between polypathic energies,

with symmetrically ionic, iconic, beauty.

Perfect love is bionically double-bind co-messianic,
cooperatively co-mentoring dipolar,
or it cannot be perfected

Love cannot be returned away empty,
unfulfilled with longing for promise of fertility
unless also absorbing a pathological vacuum,
absence of co-empathic trust abundance
sufficient for this moment,

this life,
