I was walking while reading
because this had been recommended,…

Well,…
actually more like required reading
while walking,
rather than too much blindly reading
while passively impassively sitting through
Earth-reflective stalking exercises

For improving body health
and soul wealth,

Not that these are really two different things,
detached from some primal relationship,
but more like…
Hmmm…
Yang walk and Yin listen,
and leftbrain secular dominant
and rightbrain sacred prominent
harmonic universal-unitarian
egalitarian egos
and interdependent eco-webbed to play
win/win role-plays
games
jazz improvised walking dances
soulfully reading gospel flung
while sung meditation opportunities.

Meanwhile,
and coincidentally,
Barbie and Ken are driving south on Route 8,
talking about stuff
they usually get stuck with talking about
and over
and occasionally even all the way through
each other’s emotional intelligence.

Talking about things like stocks and bonds.

Who stole the food stocks
from the kitchen
and who is out on bond
just now.

When suddenly Barbie noticed me:

“Look Ken,
a guy who can both walk and read
and do them coincidentally!”

“Well, dear, I can walk and read at the same time,
too!”

“Yes dear,
but would you live to tell of it,
here on Route 8,
north or south?
Walk and read meditation
is not as GoldenRule easy
as walking through your own backyard
while chewing gum.
I wonder what he’s reading.”

“Why would that be a question
a normal person might think to randomly ask?
Do you wonder what every reading person you pass

be reading?”

Gardeners and farmers know better than to feed and water the weeds.

Psychologists and sociologists agree, the best way to manage an unrepentant narcissist, is to ignore him and his ego-privileged run-away lose/lose habits, addictions, paranoia.

Political scientists might learn from their experience, we need not further inflame nationalistic cynicism about remaining hope for global health through actively impeaching already soiled and transparently corrupted nationalistic supremacist behaviors.  Sins meriting excommunication are most likely to implode from within when not fed or watered, when the cameras and microphones simply aren’t turned on anymore, when actively ignored and shunned by all victims, prey of encroaching, marching militaristic weeds.

I Got the D.T. Blues

When his prime time unmediated antagonist
was only “Fake News CNN”
I hoped he might merely be a narcissist,
cynical about the social health value
of articulating inclusive
transparent
historically accurate
real world truths
all the time
to all Earth’s people.

Now that he has kicked his own Fox News dog,
I would say *itch,
or even nihilistic witch,
but then I too might become known
as an outright truth denialist
over-empowered totalitarian of terror,
verbal global abuser,
where we might have healthier
and wealthier chosen
a cooperatively-owned healing climate
of bicameral compassion.

Healthy ecological relationships
are climates easier to hear
when instruments use words
as tools, not weapons,
for planting and harvesting less fear,
for sensing emotions win/win harmonic
win/lose contested, competing for supremacy
of auditory,
predatory self-investment.

That said, and preferably sung,
ecological systems
like songs
are compositions,
richly resonant communications
in complerxly interdependent webs
not sustained through dissonant lose/lose walls

Of entropic silence,
abhorred absence of nurturing communion,
emotionally stifling structure,
full-bodied thirst for hearts absorbing minds
are preferred to sensory detachment,
failure to notice unvoiced climates
of epic sounds unnatural
dis-spirited
unlistening nonperformance,
unmused holocaust.

While win/win vocal music listening circles
are great places to therapeutically hear
Earth’s integral echoing potential,
love’s mutually-held ego-sadness and eco-gladness,
climates of ecological wealth,
inside as outside resonance,
outside as inside co-opportunity
through this environment
of mutually-sung
strong-hearted resilience.

With hope to sing another way
an Other focused day
and night
through ecology’s brightest voice

I awake again with this left-brain thought
that an economic conservative
about balancing his ever expanding budget
looks at my mountainside forest of firs
as a green commodity
for potential exploitation.

Yet when this same conservative
resides in this same fir forest,

he sees these same trees,
like himself,
as prey
in a win/lose zero-sum value-retention game.

Then I have this right brain passion

internally governed by WiseElder firs, regenerative,
from whom we learn
to nutritionally
resiliently,
naturally,
spiritually climax
and recommence together, after loss,
in secular/sacred solidarity
of co-passioning seeds
structured to anticipate four-seasoned wealth givers
and receivers
of Earth’s forested pro-active health care,
robustly optimizing self/other value maintenance.

These reviewed landscapes are not mutually exclusive.
Yet only the last is cooperatively left and right
nondualistically inclusive,
like ethical truth with aesthetic beauty,
compassion spiritually foresting natural integrity.

Peak Experience

Back in late pre-millennial times
of lava lamps
and Rolling Stones,
many searched for peak experiences,
in response to valley depressences
repressed
suppressed,
rather than panoramic,
even revolutionary,
resonant and resilient impressions.

Peak experiences were,
and still are,
I am told by those who’ve had them,
personal,
individualistic,
or possibly dyadic climaxes,
but probably not orgiastic,
which is more of a swarming bee thing
co-spastic
if I accurately follow their pollination story
through its peaks and valleys.

Abraham Maslow talked
and wrote
about climbing a hierarchy of sensory needs,
from survival attachment
up to thrival
growing toward a more interdependently accessible peak
and descending for a more independent survival battle
to return to more cooperative peak health experiences
of left brain articulating thought
and right brain consciousness
of up and down
valley repression
and mountainous impression
feelings.

Now in post-millennial times,
pathology has become a climatic
traumatic
despairing experience of climate anxiety,
prompting new internal/external searches
for ways to optimize globally resilient peak experience.

For this,
we need the miraculous mysterious mysticism
of cooperative win/win integrity
in-between and among all ecological living relationships
sailing up and down river systems
and across mountain forests
and through all creatures and creations,
lovers and healthy loved,
rhetorical lived events
and historical reflective advents

Tipping between yesterday and tomorrow
