Better Climate Questions

It has been said
There is no bad question
asked with cooperative integrity.

While those asked with competing disintegrity,
mendaciously,
are not really questions at all.

That said,
conceded as asked and answered,
Some questions remain
more ecologically and economically,
politically and personally,
publicly and intimately,
naturally and spiritually
more significant than others.
More urgent
in times of great climate global extinctions,
than mere national economic recessions.

I remember an economics class
at Yale
when the moderate,
academically and politically even-handed,
almost philosophically bipolar professor
argued with persuasion
about historically proven polarizing dangers
of this growing divide between rich
and poor,
within nations
and across international economies,
still-emerging gaps
and cracks
and fissures
between upper-middle stasis
and revolutionarily unrested lower-middle diastasis,
with an evaporating populist median,
midway,
Tipping cooperative values
against competing disvalued Points
between these antagonistic two;
forming One Great Transitioning Divide–
plutocratic predators and cooperatively-huddling prey.

But,
I also remember his frustration
about economic scholars
not having a robust theory
to explain why
financial and political history
tell this story
without apparent evolutionary reason,
or intent to survive,
much less co-invest
in mutual thrival,
perhaps revolutionary gospel revival
of trusts and truths DNA-democratically held
and savored.

He could not explain why
the Democratic Party
has made more cooperative multi-class creolizing sense
to worry about this growing bad climate
while the Republican Party
has made mere plutocratic competitive nonsense
to deny historic significance
of growing traumatic polarization
between Elites
and increasingly segregated,
and marginalized,
and criminalized
NonElites,
assumed to be worthy of God’s further retributive justice
so poorly earned
by our own uncompetitive powerlessness,
lack of divinely-inspired wealth
or fame
or influence.

As Taoists,
or any healthy bicameral-bilateral permacultural developers
of any creed or color,
organically committed to investing only in Win-Win NonZero-Sum Games,
toward polyculturing-creolizing health-wealth outcomes,
we can see why this growing hyphenated economic divide
presents a growing disparate survival trend
for living Earth,
as habitable by humane-divine nature,
and increasingly inhabitable first for swarms of angry NonElites
whose children are at growing risk of death
by drowning
or fire
or being ballistic blown
off this face
of Green-Blue synergetic MotherEarth.

We can see why restorative ecojustice
grows a healthier climate
than a retributive Elitist egojustice
of punishment through non-competitive NonElite neglect,
disinvestment.

Economic models of national
and cultural history questions
seldom ask,
Is it appropriate
to believe economic values and disvalues
have a reasonable option
to become informed by ecological values and disvalues
or to irresponsibly ignore them,
even deny them,
to ignore our intrinsic and intuitive health-wealth interdependence,
as if Earth’s regenerative values and creation laws
were somehow alien and NonElite
as compared to humane-divine investment values
and wealth-defensive laws.

Organic farmers and gardeners
and nondual philosophers
and metaphysicists
and ethologists
and ecologists,
cooperative evolutionists,
and all EarthMothers
know there can be no healthy economic choice for any ego’s investment
that is an anti-ecological monoculturing choice
against Earth’s basic cooperative-synergetic
healthy creolizing
regenerating nature.

Ours is not to compete with MotherNature
but to cooperate restoring justice and peace
within EarthMother Tribes and Species
asking better richer deeper wider bilateral questions
beyond the last and upcoming fiscal quarter,
beyond the last and upcoming four-year ecopolitical term,
beyond the last and upcoming forty years,
beyond the last and upcoming four hundred years.

Buckminster Fuller
and Jesus Christ
and LaoTse,
among others,
have all economically and politically observed
It is the role of a health-invested society
to restoratively facilitate
cooperative ecological development of individuals,
to make it easier to become polyculturing outcomed families,
multiculturing cooperatively-owned communities
and nations of ecological MedianExpanding Matriotism
in equivalent dialogue
with economically co-invested patriots of Earth.

I remember an economics class
when our question facilitator
of deep cooperative ecological understanding,
passionately reviewed emergent evidence
of richly creolizing populist cooperators
against monoculturing elitist bigotry
and retribution’s too wealth-invested prejudice,
as if humane-divine
nature-spirit
health-wealth integrity
were questions
other than DNA prepared

Playing Old Maid

I recall a card game
probably extending back past the 1950s
called Old Maid.

There was also Authors
and a few other choices
less popular with me.
But Old Maid sticks in mind
as blatantly sexist
and ageist
and, for a country kid
in redneck rural Republican Michigan,
the most fun
of admittedly limited card playing options.

Whoever was stuck holding the Old Maid
at end of game
was the biggest loser,
for obvious reasons.

Who would want to be associated
with that old and useless appendage?

National politics in the U.S.,
all about the marketing, purchase, and sale
of two-year
and four-year terms of public greed responsibility,
increasingly reminds me
of OldMaid gamesmanship.

And, yes,
I don’t really mean gamepersonship.

This game for avoiding loss
of responsibility and authority,
loss of face
rather than gain of grace,
embracing mutual Wins
of shared commitment to health
and cooperatively prosperous safety,

This game in which the OldMaid
is played by aging fossil-fuel industries
played-out too often militarized
ballistic violence,

These OldMaid industrial choices
have most ballistically justified
plutocratic wars
inviting young,
and often most marginalized,
players
to live with losses to OldMaid political stuckness
in the name of patriotic duty,

Although not matriotic integrity
to our own healthy hands
for better Win-Win games
and political
and economic
and personal
and family therapy strategies,
less violently impinged by nationalistic traumas,
fear of losses
holding OldMaid over-industriously held cards.

No one wants to be in unlovely public office
when the last drop of oil
and last glistening gasp of gas
wears through now useless OldMaid pumps
and pistons,
unhappy triggers
and transdegenerational switches,
unlubricated OldMaid economic bitches.

No one wants to be in office
holding the last OldMaid dry-humped card
from a 1950s stacked deck
when 2020 revisions
change climate changing hands
into feminist story books
of how our generation
deliberately and stubbornly chose,
like stiff-necked self-chosen people
of OldMaids and PatriarchalMen,
counter-intuitively choosing the climate pathology card,
fascinated by our own death
and the death of our habitat
and the death of any future
of humane proportion and design,
rhythm and pattern.

When we have so many post-millennial cooperative Win-Win options
to actively hope
and act
and restoratively plan
and therapeutically draw climate health
for both ego and eco justice
and global peace for all,
including sacred Elder Matriotic Maids.

If only Old Feminist Maids and Matriotic Men
had written all required history
and civic lesson school books
and ecopolitical philosophy texts
and medicinal prescriptions
and legislated cooperative multicultural ethics
lesson plans
to practice
practice
practice
cooperation,

I wonder if having the Elder Matriot card
would have been how to win our Win-Win game,
and to do so,
would require letting go of all Old FakePatriot cards
of plutocratic,
and often patriarchal,
Lose-Lose economic-ecological exploitations,

Jesus Told Me

Jesus taught and lived
Those who follow the Way
Truth
Life, rather than punishing death,
would be known
by our love,
especially for our enemies.

He did not say, or live,
Those who punish themselves and others with death threats
and war planning
and technology design
and nihilistic absence of healthy purpose
would be TruthLivers
known as restorative peace-makers,
inheriting the Kingdom of God at hand.

For LaoTse
we are Way,
Truth,
Life known
by our Yang/Yin harmonic balance
with darkYin as antagonist of stubborn ignorance,
reflecting unkind outcomes of MotherEarth
and Her thunder and lightning Heavens
bringing cold winds of Yang-dominant terror
and warm flows of Yin-Yang wu-wei
in-between
Tipping Pointed selves as enemies
restoring peaceful balance,
within-egoYang,
as without-ecoYin.

To love your enemies
as yourself
is to actively seek restorative justice
peace-filled balance for all parties,
including anti-let’s-party! haters
and monoculturing weedish and prudish supremacists,
fundamentalists,
evangelists,
zealots,
terrorists,
slave-owners,
racists,
sexists,
homophobes,
missionary colonizers,
AntiSemitic
AntiCreolization
trauma-inducing predators and parasites,
and, Jesus’ favorite love to hate, Pharisees.

To be known by our love for enemies,
is to know our enemies as ourselves,
to love ourselves as both victimized protagonist
and antagonist,
provoking angry retributions,
fear-filled victims
of our own,
and our Elders,
violent misjudgments.

To love ourselves
within this heuristic balance,
doing our best
is to love our larger selves
as traumatizing enemy of love
and yet therapeutic lover of self-inflicted,
other-afflicting,
enemies.

Thich Nhat Hanh
shares a restorative council agenda
as anciently practiced in his Buddhist tradition.

Community facilitators
with unusual strengths for compassion,
begin by telling a personal story
of an event in their owned history
when they have known the shame of offending against love,
against active and integrative cooperation.

Then they apologize for this offense
against those assembled victims.
Atone for their lack of sufficient love,
trust,
faith.

Then, and only then, they invite victims
and offenders
to do as the facilitators have themselves mentored,
to tell their most recent shared story
of victims and offenses
against restoring cooperative love
within this community
of EarthTribe lovers.

For instance,
voting against universal health care giving and receiving
as a basic application of our multiculturally advocated
Golden Rule,
constitutionally protected
as pursuit of resident Welfare
and a more perfect Unity
(NOT fascist military-industrialized uniformity).

I try to picture what stories of restoration
facilitators would invite
if FirstNation CEOs
were to host a Peace Circle
with Christian Evangelical Missionaries
and Military-Industrial Generals,
grandsons of rifle-holders
for ecopolitically racist assumptions
of spiritual therefore naturally endowed
Manifest Destiny Supremacy,
and WhiteMan CEOs,
including grandsons of slave-holders
for HeavenlyMansion and Mammon Goals,
all WesternPatriarchal classroom read and propagandized
as Protagonists in a Western InterContinental Patriotic History of Love,
yet recognizing great-grandparents
in light of larger love’s Win-Win capacities,
now appear as repressive Retributional Antagonists,
rooted in fear and anger and hate,
not always so much trust and faith and justice,
for a polyculturing history
of love as ego-eco balance
between loving oneself
as both related to past Protagonists
and Antagonists
of Earth’s restorative peace
and therapeutic love
for Win-Win bilateral justice.

It is in our most vulnerable shame
for lapses in co-passionate love
that we are most likely to therapeutically recover
shared memories of blame,
and active hope to restore love’s balance
more polypathically inclusive next time.

This rhetorical agenda,
for mentoring facilitators,
is their second-mile walk,
their turning of violently struck both cheeks,
their opportunity to offer a time of personal shame
to open double-binding gates
of collective Lose-Lose blame
and it’s ecological apposition,
Win-Win restorative cooperation
of active Love.

Golden Rules
to do as you would have done justice
and not do and judge
as you could not not do without greater co-passion,
active love for Win-Win restoration
of peace councils,
internal and external,
practiced best each moment
of each grace-filling balanced karma day.

Willing and able to see oneself,
and one’s extended family,
as both sacred protagonists
and sinner antagonists
of co-evolving historic love,
fulfilled in HereNow potential health integrity

Health is not purchased

Red and Green Christians

Let’s start with a fundamental flaw of fundamentalist fake-Christianity,
a literary flaw within literal non-interpretation of historical creation
and sacred development.

This is true of radical jihadist Moslims as well,
although we both know you think you’re more special
and politically and morally correct,
so, we can stay focused
on Christian evangelical faith communities
in the United States,
especially in Red-dominant States.

True
effective
pure
loyal
faithful
integrated
mature Christian conservators of God’s peace and divine love justice
must stop interpreting the words and teachings
and moral-sexual code for healthy v pathological activities
as if JesusChrist had a dualistic view of Spirit,
of Abba
or of human nature as a whole
separated from Earth’s nature,
and as if He lived within a Trinitarian GodHead metaphysical Universe
without a JesusChrist humane-divine nondual Body.

If you truly have the faith of a mustard seed
that JesusChrist taught and lived
in a nondual humane-divine MindBody,
then this explicitly invites us to consider nonduality,
both divine spirit
and humane sacred
conjoining this interdependent Body of Christ
on Earth.

When Jesus says
Why do you worry about stupid stuff
because God made sacred flowers too
and which of you
is arrayed with that much festive splendor,
that diversity of color and beauty and Grace,
a truly Christian evangelist of this nondual teaching,
would not respond with:

“Oh, right,
but that’s just generic secular natural organisms
and physiological development processes,
but not about how God the Creator Father
arrays humanizing nature.”

That separation of Earth’s natural systems
from sacred humanizing spirits
you will not find in Jesus’ words or teachings
or metaphysical code
or moral v immoral law and order of restorative grace.

Although Trinitarianism,
and the dualism separating
Holy Spirits against secularizing Fallen nature
and patriarchal economic and political aristocratic-plutocratic dominance
against matriarchal EarthMother planters and harvesters,
those annoying motherly nurturing issues,
were alive and well
when Roman Catholic St. Jerome
was playing eeny, meany, miserly moe
with sacred stories
and parables
and poetry
and history of God’s inspiring voices,

And dualistic competitive assumptions were still there,
only now starting to military-industrialize
the entire complexion of intriguing inspiring voices
for Holy Wars and Crusades
when the newer King James Interpretation of sacred history,
literature and stories,
parables,
crucifixions,
baptisms,
violence,
sickness and disease,
floods and holocausts,
wars and burning cities with innocent children included
came into your evangelical dualistic minds
and shared fundamentalist culture of Red.

So what?
you have probably already asked.

With this error,
with this lack of personal
and political
and economic integrity,
you have harmed me,
and you have probably insulted my evangelical Christian mother,
who raised me to love
as deeply and widely
as Jesus nondually loved all Earth,
all Earth’s polycultural and multicultural diversity,
as part of one already redeemed
interdependent Body of Grace.

Grace is for those who just say Yes to love
wherever we see love invited,
one arrayed with God’s love,
with CreatorGod’s relationship with each hair
on each head,
with constantly counting all those drab, yet sacred, sparrows,
and wherever hairs are to be even most inconveniently found.

To believe otherwise,
that this sacred reign of God
on this Earth
in this time of Great Transitional Climate Change
is to interpret the words and teachings of JesusChrist
as if He did not mean them literally
of nature as spirit
and spirit as nature.

That he did not literally mean
He invites us to replace addiction to deadly blood sacrifice politics
with a cooperative economy of grace,
Earth as nondual gift,
life as fundamental gratitude
for those natural and spiritual arrayed gifts
available for eyes that see,
ears that hear.

As available as universal baptism of living waters
flowing through our veins
feeding and nurturing even the flowers
with their most festive arrays
and those drab sparrows
and all that inconvenient hair,
even when teased and bleached
to near extinction.

You have harmed me
in a way that forces you to see me
as a person who chose to become sinfully gay,
while actually having been born sacredly heterosexual.

I know this is not true about me,
or about any person with a gender preference
I have ever known
well enough to ask them:

Did you choose to be, whatever?
When did you choose to become, whatever?
Would you still be you
if the prepubescent you
had chosen to become otherwise?
Did it ever even occur to you
that you had a choice
of whom to find attractive
in either an erotic or agapic way?

If you had been given a choice,
If God came down from Heaven
maybe even in a dream
and said,
“OK, it’s time to choose,
those hairs are about to emerge from new places,
Who won this battle?”
How could you choose
to exchange the gifts you were conceived with?

So now,
if you’re following this most unlikely hypothesis
of gender identity choice,
If I didn’t choose this,
then I was recruited
by my very much happy heterosexual
evangelical fundamentalist Christian parents.

Even my evangelical Christian older brother and sister,
and my Unitarian Universalist younger sister,
who agree on not much,
will all tell you
that this recruiting thing
did not happen to me.

My older siblings
are in this sad position,
Either I chose to become homosexually perverse,
deliberately choosing a life of sin,
ostrasization
criminalization
victimization,
despite all persuasive evidence of everyone I trusted and loved
during my pre-adolescent years,
or there is a dualistic interpretation of JesusChrist’s words and teachings
that they have assumed was actually there in scripture,
but in fact they falsely believe is there
because they have been religiously indoctrinated
to deny their own spiritual-historical experience
of grace.

To deny our own histories
and herstories of truth,
loyalty to sacred integrity of our internal natural
and external spiritual
sacred climates of loving healthy love
with hating pathologically competitive hatreds.

Restorative healing grace
invites economies of polyculturing love
and these are not to become confused with
retributive justice politics
of dualistic injustices and war-
and hate-mongering.

Imagine growing up in a world
where Jesus taught you must grow up into mature polysexuality
and this was accepted and presumably experienced as true
by all you loved and trusted
except you,
hopelessly heterosexual only.

We would sing
“Onward Christian Soldiers
marching off to war…”
and you would worry
how you might possibly stay under range
of our automatic rifle fire.

That is the harm you have brought to me
through not believing in the nonduality of Earth’s Matriarchal Nature
and God’s Holy Spirit
as per the literal nature-spirit teachings
and parables of JesusChrist.

Uphill Roads Less Traveled

We have all heard about diverse roads
and rivers,
currents and currencies,
investments and co-investments less traveled,
worn,
tried.

The law and order rules of the road
and downstream river most rowed
are politically and economically empowered
of, by, and for punishing disorder,
dissonance,
uncivilized behaviors,
sociopathic paranoia and madness.

Yet the Golden Rules of upstream ecological sacred grace
speak of divine gift economies
and power of mutual cooperativity
along a Golden Ratio Equivalency PolyPath
of mutual cooperativity.

On this road less notnot traveled
we notice investments and disinvestments that can no longer fit
within individual ego-sized positive containers,
intended to be used only one time,
and then quietly disposed of
under our own independent authority
and responsibilities for restoring our accountable co-presence
back toward this upstream river’s timeless Source:

grace, and racism and religious-monoculturing supremacy,
anthrocentric health assurance, and prejudicial sexisms,
salvation of the World, and condemning judgment of Earth,
reward, and punishment,
pride, and yet also prejudice,
restoration, and retribution
love, and hate-marketing,
peace, but also war-mongering,

So I try to notice which way I am heading,
and remember no one chooses a unidirectional,
monocultural path

The number of folks sitting
on the back porch
waiting
for peace to strike,
like waiting for my garden to grow
without yet having planted it.

The number of people
noticing that chronic victims
suffer from critical victimization events,
minus the number who also notice
that chronic crimers
also suffer from critical
criminalization
events.

The number of people
horrified by the number of victims
of prejudicial discriminashunishtion
against their ethnicity,
economic lack of class,
and suitable gender,
and age of maturation
but also unaware
of how we celebrate
positive multicultural discriminations
for diverse ethnicities,
economic cooperative sufficiencies
of fairly decent incomes,
genders, including preferences,
and age-appropriate behaviors.

The number of folks who also see
impoverishment and marginalization,
chronic social criminalization,
whenever they hear it said
of retributive justice,
deterrent incapacitation
and restraint
as additional most negative,
and possibly unnecessary, constraints.

The number of folks we retributively select
willing to settle
for uniform dark punishments
of retributive overkill,
without the slightest hint of redistributive overjoy
most anywhere
for or with anyone,
mistaking this for the unity of restorative purposes
we more peacefully
and co-redemptively
so long for.

The number of excellent scientists and parents
seeking deductively reasoned
learning processes by day
while dreaming inductively co-operatively
seeking warmer compassions through each night.

The number of economists
and politicians too,
of parents
and educators
recognizing communication
through diversely humming channels beyond simply straightforward speaking
and hearing
and watching,
to include RNA’s more regeneratively primal
feeling
and tasting
and absorbing
through rooting systems,
functioning like reverse lickers
and stickers
and salivators
and saps
and pheromone freaks.

The number of scientists
who might somehow come to realize
that tree conversations
could take place through rooting systems
underground,
plus those who also celebrate implications
that tree co-empathic conversations are,
at their highest co-operative best,
currently over our mutually
co-regeneratively
reiterating heads.

The number of folks
who feel complicit
in our punished guilt
plus those who can still celebrate
our nature’s mutually complicit passions,
born both loving predator
and beloved prey,
until parents and Sunday School
and day care teachers teach other not-so-wise.

The number of communication buffs
who think these two populations,
society’s predators and victims
reallllly neeeeed to talk,
and listen,
and not so much both at the same time,
and probably not lick
or hit with a stick
because that would be so icky.

The number of kids
who would predict
that their parents
and teachers
will compete to heat our climates up
so we all can drown together,
regardless of primal

co-identities.

The number of prophets
recognizing selves
as original native residents

speaking
and listening
cooperatively for co-planting,
and thereby growing,
