In Love and War

You’ve heard it said?
All’s fair in love and war!

Well,
most ethicists,
even war-mongering philosophers,
disagree with the “All’s fair in war” part,

As do just everyday Earth-patriotic folks
who loyally prefer not to be bombed
and automatically rifled
just because some crackpot(s)
in the nearest capital city plutocracy
decide to make war,
using our kids and tax dollars,
instead of love,
co-passion,
solidarity with Earth’s pro-life health.

All ethicists,
and folks who find compassion
to responsibly risk vulnerability
of a loving relationship,
disagree with the “All’s fair in love” side
of this unmindful equation.

Fairness, equity, of powers to freely say
Yes
or No
to another’s invitation into passion
is a prerequisite to sustainable love,
grace,
mutual integrity of thought and feeling,
regardless of how short- or long-term projected.

It would be more valid
and validating
to observe,
All is at risk in both love and war,
but, unlike violent acts of hate
and fear
and anger
and greed,
risks of love are often fairly balanced
with opportunities for growing healthy cooperative resilience
together,
and certainly not warring unfairly apart.

There is an important difference
between being accessible
and becoming more engaging,
engaged,
engage-able.

To access support and resources
for health care giving
and wealth care resourceful receiving
is not nutritionally sufficient to resiliently
resonantly engage

As non-violent access
to absence of rage
is not peace enough to fully engage

So too,
access to eternal love,
timeless truths,
polypathic wise ways
and polynomially balancing bilateral means
do not, for most of us,
fully engage with Earth’s cooperative interior voices
speaking and listening,
widening and deepening,
outing and in-ing,
outside and inside
Yang and Yin
ego and eco-sourcing
resourcing
pre-sourcing
un-sourcing
anti-sourcing
revolutionary engagement
evolutionary source enabling
health-wealth access
with every day
every body
every thing
every relationship
multi-dependently embracing.

Access to bicameral deductive thought
and inductive feelings of interdependent resourcefulness
and isolating despair,
as outlined by ethologist Julian Jaynes,
and all textures and hues and cries between
Mother’s warm wet womb
and YangHere with YinNow

Is not resiliently sufficient
to resonantly engage bilaterally resilient co-investments,
as taught by Edward De Bono.

Just as access to a lover
is not necessarily sufficient
to fully engage those thoughts and feelings yet unknown,
undisclosed
for lack of trust

Earth’s multi-tribal sanctuary,
like any flexible multi-generational home,
like elastically resilient residents

and means to restore Paradise peace intent
for all future healthy EarthTribe residents,

Producing more buoyantly democratic covenanted hope to thrive

GoldenRule Dream Circles

I was one of ten invited
to play an ego-enrichment game,
to experience economies of mutual democratic trust
contrasted with Win/Lose politics
of privileged narcissistic lust.

Why?
I reasonably ask,
when each of these ten invited ego-systems
could be home in front of our wood stoves,
slurping our chicken noodle soup
with lightly buttered whole-wheat toast.

Not that I was hungry.
But, board-less monopoly games
are not my polypathically curious preference
for growing healthing trust
v pathological hate and hoarding over-investment crimes
against compassionate nature.

“Universal trust,”
begins our god-like game facilitator,
“is usually only available in the eyes of an infant,
or a buddha,
or some everyday unlimited lover,”
or an unusually healthy and good-humored co-facilitator.

“This game is designed to facilitate unmitigated trust
with each person here”
and each ego not yet here
within our global
polypathic health-system;
This cooperating game intends to practice
a classic Win/Win Golden Rule.”

Our Game Rules
stipulate each EgoPlayer
“will receive four thousand dollars to begin
and may invest some or all
into a central communion pot,
or pass.”

“After everyone has had an opportunity to co-invest,
I will act as banker,
count your collectively invested cash,
double it from our communal treasury,
here at my open right hand,
and evenly re-distribute the now-subsidized communal pot.”
Then, again,
each ego-player may re-invest all
or some
or none
into our eco-systemic Commons.

Experienced WinEgo/WinEcoSystemic Players,
all ten of us re-invested all four-thousand dollars
back into our mutual eco-pot.

Our divinely generous banker, in turn,
gave each of us eight-thousand dollars,
and so on
until our Heavenly Treasury went bust,
while each Ego had $128,000 in highly liquid assets
and yet felt forced to pass
against all further non-remunerated
repetitious uniform and ritualistic play.

Now,
imagine we ten are active Catholics
and the Banker is of a priestly caste
distributing communion wafers,
one each Sunday
to each co-investing player.

And, each EgoPlayer may choose to reinvest part
or all
or none
of this cooperatively co-invested Grace received
from past weekly iterations.

Experienced unitarian WinWin players,
all ten of us religiously follow Golden Communion Ethics,
reinvest all co-passioned Grace received
so ecosystemic Wealth
will multi-laterally tenfold double.

Until Earth’s natural/spiritual Grace bank implodes,
maxed out of re-seasonal nutrition cycles,
yet organically slow-growing emergent deeper resilient
and wider resonant games
in ecosystemic gardens
among properly co-passionate gardener circles,

Networks of Golden EgoPassioned Players
banking on our longest-term resilient nurturing Grace
as climate pace of just-right resonant
reiterating
mutually nourishing rounds of well-seasoned Time.

As democratic minds continue to work LeftBrain Yang-hard and strong,
yet resiliently paced,

flowing smooth,
resonantly graced,

Earth grows deeper and wider polypathic outcomes

by non-violently responding to past climate injustices,

Inviting patient good humor

without sufficient faith in positive therapeutic investment.

Not begrudged investment in silent bad faith,

advocating and mentoring gospel communion experiences,
WinWin wealth of grace,
love,
compassion,
trust

by not LoseLose absence of health,
trust,
compassion,
grace under Win/Lose fire
of competitive Business As Capital Infested,

under-arrested

A significant difference between retirement,

When younger I needed an early morning alarm

Power: Love v Whatever

What might it take for love to conquer anger
fear
hate?

How is holistic compassion already more contagious than a-holistic self-hatred,
we-hatred?

There is more than one way to hear a**holistic here,
but they all have to do with sectarian divides,
sometimes felt more intimately, reductively personal,
and sometimes more transparently, seductively political,

Sometimes closer to home-caused and owned,
and therefore remedied,
and sometimes more great transitional,
and therefore more uncooperatively and disintegratively,
deductively,
unholistically,
sectarianly,
violently communicating
and pro-actively transporting
toxic viruses across monoculturing unhealthy unwealthy
absence of passionately healing opportunities.

Growing holistic compassion,
like growing organic THC,
depends on environmentally empowering supports
for positive,
healthy,
resilient relationships
with all Earth’s co-passionate NatureSpirit systems
and ecotherapeutically integral strategies
for wealth optimizing health,
mental and physical,
spiritual and natural,
theological and ecologically inter-related,
co-arising dipolarities
of contrasting inside and outside Janus-faces
internally/externally co-passionate.

Compassion for oneself opens doors
and windows of consciousness
to pro-actively discuss changes toward robust health
with others
within an authentically wealthy and responsive society
with mainstream healing,

Rather than too often punishing deviance from bullish patriarchal nihilism,
meekly acclimating to non-relational toxic neglect,
failure to nutritionally appreciate yourself,

Investing in self-judging voices,
You screwed up again!
You are worse than useless!
You are lazy,
have no healthy work ethic,
want to play all the time
like an irresponsible two year old!
On and on and on…

Such self-afflictions are way less compassionately healthy
than calmly accepting past errors,
sins against compassioning humanity,
without absolving yourself of therapeutic reparations,
carrying all these negatives more lightly
as also enlightening potentially positive partial truths
validly applied to all of us
on our worst days
and most uninvited moments
reacting to perceived neglect, abuse,

Wounded Passions

Starting this day
already seduced by full-color compassion,
with some competing-for-time distractions
in the more sadly usual recessive role,
raises wellness questions
with healthy co-passioning answers,
responsive responses more resiliently co-present
than pathological ego-manic fears
about my immediate physical future
and anger about our collective lack of compassionate history
and inclusive culture,
educational enrichments
and social norms
and active multiculturing values

Spreading virally across this

compassioned day.

While finger shaping wounded daughter’s wild
African-American mane,
and walking hand in insecure hand
up our gravel driveway,
I flash back to last night’s conversation
with Freud on my left
lecturing Jung on my right
about his SuperEgo
driven by patriarchal compassion,

Which Jung felt was a soft oxymoron,
hidden as yin
on a bold sunny
war-mongering summer day,

While Freud moved on to his Id,
with LeftBrain dominant narcissism
but also, perhaps,
recessive matriarchal compassion
he had not recognized
while male embodied,

Which Jung co-passioned
Perhaps Freud’s Id resembles LaoTse’s bipolar narcissistic Yang Supremacy
headed for an Anima-flow fall
into co-passionate love,
if RightBrain compassionate feelings, of Jaynes,
and bilateral thoughts, of De Bono,
could ever find enough compassion together
to grow more holistic integrity
of positive therapeutic co-passions,

Sometimes enchanted with positively resonant swells

Empathic Communication

Great transitional resolutions,
effective, resilient communications,
like all communal, valid systems,
like all communions, vital paradigms,
grow robust as fueled by compassion

And grow frail
disrupted
blown up
as fueled by competitive aggression,
the narcotic nastiness of self-criminalizing narcissism,
internal externalizing terrorism.

Negative nutrition
is non-positive communication,
not non-violent transubstantiation,
not not absence of sustainable remuneration.

Negative, like absent zero, is distractingly difficult
to even dissonantly talk about

much less back and forth in a resilient way
Our almost total lack of nutritional resonant flow
despite our most compassionate positive communication
original intention
to communicate more happy democratic constitutional principles
of power for dynamically evolving wellness,
mutual well-being,
dynamic we-consciousness,
healthy co-passionate wealth.

Positive communication, resiliently predicted,
requires absence of negative miscommunication, dissonant

As perfect love
invites the absence of self-punishing sin

As compassionate goals
compel absence of narcissism,
absence of fear about claustrophobic ego-futures,
absence of reactive anger about past competitive egocentric wounds,
partially self-inflicted,
