attempting to define
purposeful reality

meaningful relationships

Reforming
disorganizing death’s desecrating
meaningless non-relationship.

Reducing inductive meditations
to produce deductive reflections
may lead to seductive mystic paradox

Redacting
distracting
retraction

The silent Muse
may deeply feel
desecrating death’s inevitable cause
remains organic life

While the prayerful Sage
may profoundly believe
organic life’s unavoidable effect
portends desecrating death.

Life’s absence
does not always provoke beating hearts
to grow fonder

Yet love’s presence
is always necessary,
and yet insufficient,
to avoid life’s organic losses.

Natural life’s spiritual love
feels like something healthier than
unnatural death’s desecrating lovelessness.

If “lovelessness” is not a proper prayerful word,
could this be because loveless meditations
remain so relentlessly still
unspoken?

Sage prayers acknowledge personal trauma
causing disturbingly dissonant effects
while
meditating muses recognize longer-term personal
AND larger-terminating political
silencing systems
of deadly desecrating disgrace.

So too,
we may sagely anticipate specific therapeutic
blessed events
and also muse longer-term personal
and deeper bred political
wealth systems
loving sacred living grace.

Public policies are program designs
with regenerative health and safety vetted practices,
rooted in evidence of resiliently positive outcomes

Usually supported by some form of evolving theory
and/or systematic teleological perspective
about why interventions may be rationally expected
to progress toward more constitutionally protected healing
than unethical harming,
and at what cost compared to alternative governing strategies.

Producing executive orders
that are primarily reactions against existing policies
and/or regulatory procedures
without evidence that these reversals of direction
will not be more harmful than healing to people
and/or plants
and/or planet
is not developing healthy
or democratic
public governance

It is, instead, dictating autocratic,
and often kleptocratic,
promulgation of upper-caste preserving influence
without trauma-informed intent
to effectively respond
to mental and/or physical harm,
nor environmentally degenerative waste
risking thrival potential for future generations

Without any credible public service justification
for financial and neurosystemic trauma cost
intrinsic to reversing healthcare-informed direction,
specifically in comparison to extant legislated policies
now being replaced by executive fiat.

To preserve public service distinctions
between aristocratic caste-conserving ideology
and democratic-caste Constitutional teleology
please do not confuse President Trump’s degenerative procedural disorders,
derived from fear of inevitable failure

Dear TrumPublican Christmas Klan

When you’re on top already,
proclaiming King of the US Mountain

When you hope
and have faith
and love that you are among God’s caste-up elite
in stark contrast to those sinners you would remain forever separated from,
then your separatist position
is also a defense-against-change position
to maintain
or increase
your upper-caste supremacy.

Only if you were a klan of black feminist lesbians
and transgender benders,
and dark-skinned magnificently chiseled queers,
who don’t want anything to do with you either,
can you offer an authentic mission statement favoring increased separation
without also taking a position
of wanting to sustain
and potentially strengthen

I believe you are mistaken in believing you only advocate

Singing Stevie’s Wonder

I remember,
in the early 60s,
our thirty mile drive
from our historic family farm,
in relentlessly White rural Michigan,
not counting the Mexican migrant workers
whom our Elders pointedly discarded

Singing
on the first shifty shopping trip to Thrifty Acres,
through vibrantly young Black
urban heated streets
of capital glancing Lansing.

Stevie Wonder and I
nearby
yet out casting far

Him singing
all Black city churches
ringing

And me queer pillaged
in all White rural churches
villaged

Stevie and me,
harmonic neighbor memory
in my privately humming heart

Yet never possible to publicly meet
and privately greet
as this sacred land
and this organic Earth
were meant to resonantly sing
and resiliently dance
our regenerations in caste
together
not degenerations outcast
apart.

I didn’t know apartheid by default yet
but I do remember
seeing nearly black as ink skin
for my very first impassioned time

On a smiling brown-eyed boy
on a chipped and flat white painted bike
without defensive rims

And dim longing to talk
and listen
and laugh with him

About fresh green smells of freedom
from poor tired training wheels

Freedom to create our fast together pedaling breeze
across summer’s hot black
and white hate faces and arms

Knowing I would touch his warm dark skin
with loving wonder

What it could be like to be recast with him,
to sing and dance together,
to smell and feel and fly
our rich diverse integrity
on a brave tandem red in-your-face bike

Built for two
bright shining all ways back
restorying Black street glancing Lansing

Through my little Whitely inbred WoodLand
spreading sadist out across all Black without White
decapitalizing cities
divorced from woodland farmers

Left alone
to peddle fly while singing
our glad,
not sad or bad or mad,
hosanna holy wonders

As I reweave
this first drive by encounter
with outcast avenue perversity
against homo-sapient diverse
curiosity

I imagine asking Mom to stop,
pull our metallic gold Ford over
so I could ask his thick black-framed glasses name,
which would sing Stevie

And take his wondrous hand
to walk his bike back to home
and long familiar family
where we would live together
happily
and healthily
and wisely
most prosperously ever after
cast together all.

This was my erasing moment,
too quickly racing past,
to know passion’s love
at first passed sight

Sublime sung sounds
and dark dancing
satin brown skin smells

What are your power values and disvalues?

What are the political powers and weaknesses,
capacities and incapacities,

What values are not for sale?
What powers are available, but only without commodification,

I’m noticing my economic values,

co-arise with powers of cooperative relationships

To know loss
is to fear death
of much-loved reputation
and taxing self-respect.

When therapy
lends Her feminist sway
to know
and co-invest in life
is to predict
and cherish waxing love.

For both these reasons,
we send a significantly wrong message
of blame the victim
when we post public health messages
like “Suicide is preventable”

Which is no more
or less true
than Systemic Trauma is
and is not preventable
