Better Climate Questions

It has been said
There is no bad question
asked with cooperative integrity.

While those asked with competing disintegrity,
mendaciously,
are not really questions at all.

That said,
conceded as asked and answered,
Some questions remain
more ecologically and economically,
politically and personally,
publicly and intimately,
naturally and spiritually
more significant than others.
More urgent
in times of great climate global extinctions,
than mere national economic recessions.

I remember an economics class
at Yale
when the moderate,
academically and politically even-handed,
almost philosophically bipolar professor
argued with persuasion
about historically proven polarizing dangers
of this growing divide between rich
and poor,
within nations
and across international economies,
still-emerging gaps
and cracks
and fissures
between upper-middle stasis
and revolutionarily unrested lower-middle diastasis,
with an evaporating populist median,
midway,
Tipping cooperative values
against competing disvalued Points
between these antagonistic two;
forming One Great Transitioning Divide–
plutocratic predators and cooperatively-huddling prey.

But,
I also remember his frustration
about economic scholars
not having a robust theory
to explain why
financial and political history
tell this story
without apparent evolutionary reason,
or intent to survive,
much less co-invest
in mutual thrival,
perhaps revolutionary gospel revival
of trusts and truths DNA-democratically held
and savored.

He could not explain why
the Democratic Party
has made more cooperative multi-class creolizing sense
to worry about this growing bad climate
while the Republican Party
has made mere plutocratic competitive nonsense
to deny historic significance
of growing traumatic polarization
between Elites
and increasingly segregated,
and marginalized,
and criminalized
NonElites,
assumed to be worthy of God’s further retributive justice
so poorly earned
by our own uncompetitive powerlessness,
lack of divinely-inspired wealth
or fame
or influence.

As Taoists,
or any healthy bicameral-bilateral permacultural developers
of any creed or color,
organically committed to investing only in Win-Win NonZero-Sum Games,
toward polyculturing-creolizing health-wealth outcomes,
we can see why this growing hyphenated economic divide
presents a growing disparate survival trend
for living Earth,
as habitable by humane-divine nature,
and increasingly inhabitable first for swarms of angry NonElites
whose children are at growing risk of death
by drowning
or fire
or being ballistic blown
off this face
of Green-Blue synergetic MotherEarth.

We can see why restorative ecojustice
grows a healthier climate
than a retributive Elitist egojustice
of punishment through non-competitive NonElite neglect,
disinvestment.

Economic models of national
and cultural history questions
seldom ask,
Is it appropriate
to believe economic values and disvalues
have a reasonable option
to become informed by ecological values and disvalues
or to irresponsibly ignore them,
even deny them,
to ignore our intrinsic and intuitive health-wealth interdependence,
as if Earth’s regenerative values and creation laws
were somehow alien and NonElite
as compared to humane-divine investment values
and wealth-defensive laws.

Organic farmers and gardeners
and nondual philosophers
and metaphysicists
and ethologists
and ecologists,
cooperative evolutionists,
and all EarthMothers
know there can be no healthy economic choice for any ego’s investment
that is an anti-ecological monoculturing choice
against Earth’s basic cooperative-synergetic
healthy creolizing
regenerating nature.

Ours is not to compete with MotherNature
but to cooperate restoring justice and peace
within EarthMother Tribes and Species
asking better richer deeper wider bilateral questions
beyond the last and upcoming fiscal quarter,
beyond the last and upcoming four-year ecopolitical term,
beyond the last and upcoming forty years,
beyond the last and upcoming four hundred years.

Buckminster Fuller
and Jesus Christ
and LaoTse,
among others,
have all economically and politically observed
It is the role of a health-invested society
to restoratively facilitate
cooperative ecological development of individuals,
to make it easier to become polyculturing outcomed families,
multiculturing cooperatively-owned communities
and nations of ecological MedianExpanding Matriotism
in equivalent dialogue
with economically co-invested patriots of Earth.

I remember an economics class
when our question facilitator
of deep cooperative ecological understanding,
passionately reviewed emergent evidence
of richly creolizing populist cooperators
against monoculturing elitist bigotry
and retribution’s too wealth-invested prejudice,
as if humane-divine
nature-spirit
health-wealth integrity
were questions
other than DNA prepared
within our ecological EarthMother’s Womb.

Playing Old Maid

I recall a card game
probably extending back past the 1950s
called Old Maid.

There was also Authors
and a few other choices
less popular with me.
But Old Maid sticks in mind
as blatantly sexist
and ageist
and, for a country kid
in redneck rural Republican Michigan,
the most fun
of admittedly limited card playing options.

Whoever was stuck holding the Old Maid
at end of game
was the biggest loser,
for obvious reasons.

Who would want to be associated
with that old and useless appendage?

National politics in the U.S.,
all about the marketing, purchase, and sale
of two-year
and four-year terms of public greed responsibility,
increasingly reminds me
of OldMaid gamesmanship.

And, yes,
I don’t really mean gamepersonship.

This game for avoiding loss
of responsibility and authority,
loss of face
rather than gain of grace,
embracing mutual Wins
of shared commitment to health
and cooperatively prosperous safety,

This game in which the OldMaid
is played by aging fossil-fuel industries
played-out too often militarized
ballistic violence,

These OldMaid industrial choices
have most ballistically justified
plutocratic wars
inviting young,
and often most marginalized,
players
to live with losses to OldMaid political stuckness
in the name of patriotic duty,

Although not matriotic integrity
to our own healthy hands
for better Win-Win games
and political
and economic
and personal
and family therapy strategies,
less violently impinged by nationalistic traumas,
fear of losses
holding OldMaid over-industriously held cards.

No one wants to be in unlovely public office
when the last drop of oil
and last glistening gasp of gas
wears through now useless OldMaid pumps
and pistons,
unhappy triggers
and transdegenerational switches,
unlubricated OldMaid economic bitches.

No one wants to be in office
holding the last OldMaid dry-humped card
from a 1950s stacked deck
when 2020 revisions
change climate changing hands
into feminist story books
of how our generation
deliberately and stubbornly chose,
like stiff-necked self-chosen people
of OldMaids and PatriarchalMen,
counter-intuitively choosing the climate pathology card,
fascinated by our own death
and the death of our habitat
and the death of any future
of humane proportion and design,
rhythm and pattern.

When we have so many post-millennial cooperative Win-Win options
to actively hope
and act
and restoratively plan
and therapeutically draw climate health
for both ego and eco justice
and global peace for all,
including sacred Elder Matriotic Maids.

If only Old Feminist Maids and Matriotic Men
had written all required history
and civic lesson school books
and ecopolitical philosophy texts
and medicinal prescriptions
and legislated cooperative multicultural ethics
lesson plans
to practice
practice
practice
cooperation,

I wonder if having the Elder Matriot card
would have been how to win our Win-Win game,
and to do so,
would require letting go of all Old FakePatriot cards
of plutocratic,
and often patriarchal,
Lose-Lose economic-ecological exploitations,

Medicine and sickness satisfy each other.
MotherEarth is medicine.
Where do you find yourself?

Ecological Earth is nature-spirit therapy.
Where and how
and when
and what
and why
and whom do you traumatize
with small-ego identifying Self?

You cannot resolve dissonance
with traumatic thinking and feeling
and competitive Win-Lose policy making
and economic exchanges
causing natural-spiritual anti-cooperative problems.

You can solve problems
with therapeutically inclusive planning
and ownership
and mutually grateful consciousness,
cognitive/affective therapies
for Win-Win overpowering Win-Lose past trauma.

At what point does therapeutic integrity
become headed toward traumatic disintegration,
more cognitive-affective dissonance
than coherence,
transparency,
safe vulnerability,
rather than depressing
this unlabeled suppression
of integrity our bicameral selves,

Medicine for all Earth’s Tribes,
for restoring virgin forests
and pure oceans,
seas,
lakes,
societies,
cultures,
rivers,
streams,
root ego/ecosystems?

Before he was embraced
by his Democratic Party,
Senator Obama
not yet nominated for U.S. CEO
wrote about political compromise
as contrasted with spiritual integrity.
He quotes Benjamin Franklin,

“I would rather have it said,
He lived usefully,
than,
He died rich.”

The difference between living spiritual integrity
and Business As Usual
rich but dying Trumpism,
as Franklin and Obama see
healthy usefulness,
is something too valuable
to be bought and sold-out for;
While Trumpism
has no eyes to discern
this difference between health and wealth,
between loyal integrity of mutual Win-Win cooperation
and hoarding excessive riches
and influence
against future Win-Lose competitions.

Antagonistic plutocrats,
including zealous evangelical supremacists
filled with religiosity of doctrines and words
and empty of spirituality
informed by personal experience and consciousness,
measure integrity
by buying and selling their compromised competition values,
while a truly integrated democratic disciple of integrity
of healthy usefulness,
uses cooperatively healthy v. pathologically competitive
to measure different Tipping Points
between positive and negative values,
like hoarding,
and other monoculturing supremacist
negative tendencies.

If I were an Obama Foundation,
I would gather private and public foundations
and community organizer Allies,
to support indigenously owned openings
of cooperative MotherEarth Cafes,
where homeless and malnourished and criminalized
and victimized
and ostracized
would gather in PeaceCircles
to read our poetry,
to dance our cooperative rhythms and cycles,
to single our gospel anthems
to feed on and breathe and absorb organic nurture
of and for Audacious Hope,
to learn to play smarter ecopolitical Win-Win games
of healthy integrity.

MotherEarth Cafes across these Uniting States
hosting local Democratic Parties
for their open microphone meetings,
setting Town Meeting Agendas,
PermaCulturing Designs for ReStoring Peace and Justice,
in cooperation with Republican Committees
and Libertarian Committees
and Green Committees
and Rainbow Committees
and Feminist Committees
and OrganicGardening Committees
and any integrative cooperative ecopolitical party
who bothers to show up
sharing this belief
in healthy usefulness
for measuring authentically wealthy values
and pathologically disintegrative disvalues.

To contain anything
is to exclude something,
Whether we speak of our interdependent Universes
or our therapeutic medicines,

Not-ZeroSum
and Not (Not ZeroSum).

Therapy and trauma invite and engage each other.

Thanksgiving for EcoJustice

We have developed several economic models
for social justice and injustice.

OldSchool retributive justice,
punishing in fair exchange for offensive sins.

Newer distributive and redistributive (0)Sum
and Not Necessarily (0)Sum justice,
preferring equality of objective values
between consumers and producers
of both good and bad relationships,
inevitably to Lose-Lose die
with each ego’s sad mortality.

We have transitional justice
which may be the same thing
as revolutionary redistributive climate justice,
hoping for creolizing peace outcomes,
told through macaronic co-evolving stories.

And, we have New Feminist ReStorative Justice
from the Ego-EcoTherapeutic Schools
of PermaCulturing FirstNation NatureSpirit Design.
Peace Circles
rooted in not merely victimization
and blossoming in not merely criminalization,
but seeking Win-Win restoration
of cooperative trust relationships.

Where secular society ponders what is justice
and injustice,
sacred communities discern healthy faith
from ancient residues of bad faith.

Both secular justice and sacred faith
can be synonymous with nature-spirit trust,
inclusive trust
and exclusive anti-trust,
and in-between mistrust,
or hypothetical trust
or quasi-trust
or queer-trust,
Tipping WuWei Points of faith in Ways,
justice through Truths,
trust of and for Lives of Grace,
as worth more than mere retributional Death-Sentencing
shamed and blamed for errors of inhumanity.

It takes a certain commitment to trust
and not an uncertain habit of mistrust

in our interdependent nutritional values,
will stick around to extend futures of healthy climates
for another thousand years.

Our CoOperative Lemonade Stand

New Economics is Feminist Peace-Restorative Economics,
about cooperatively nurturing healthy nutritional investments
rather than WinLose dyspeptic high risk
beat-down
over-testosteroned
divestment competition games.

Have you seen a Rockwell 1950’s Lemonade Wars?
Two girls, both white of course,
dressed for YoungRepublican success
scowling at each other on a pristine deserted street
of the tree-lined suburban variety,
arms folded across their angry relentless middle-class chests,
shoulders hunched for their LoseLose anger battle.

Each stands before her lemonade stand,
across the street from one other,
each with a sign that originally says 10 cents,
but with a bold line across it,
replaced below with a somewhat smaller 5 cents,
also crossed out,
followed by a 2 cents price war notice,
about which the entire neighborhood apparently would not give 2 cents
to get involved.

Would this be less surprising if we were looking at two white boys?
How about two brown-skinned boys?
Does the humor have more of an edge to it?
Or perhaps it’s no longer funny at all.
Maybe more about just another racist stereotype
about not having two suburban cents between them,
about what is intelligent multicultural economic behavior.

Do you think it more likely two girls might have formed a cooperative?
Replaced their two tables into one larger street presence,
faced their two signs both up and down the street
to better alert oncoming traffic seeking therapy,
rather than aim them across the street at each other
like weapons of mutual traumatic disdain,
splitting their take at the end of a lovely day
chattering away with and between more convivial customers.

But, probably less likely for two boys from the 50’s and 60’s.
Today, I’m not so sure.
Perhaps boys and girls, and all between,
are learning a healthier,
more fertile,
way of doing the cooperative math,
finding profit through ecopolitical interrelationships.

We have feminist psychology and therapy and medicine
and politics
and theology and history and sociology
and probably anthropology, for all I know.
Research and theorem proofing and disproofing
more likely to unfold through networking circles
of mutual refolding nurture
than competitive marching in bought-and-sold squares
of irrational spiritual distinctions
without seminal natural difference.

So, why is New Economics not called Feminist EcoPolitics?
Maybe it is, but not where I live
and not where I have non-matriotically read,
but I still hope to see more cooperative non-violent lemonade stands
across suburban and urban and rural divides,
blending gender divides to make lemonade out of,
well,… whatever you have of potential nourishing value,
discarding over-heated presumptions of gotta-have competition,
to pour out equivalent power-assumptions of cooperative ecopolitics,
where Golden Rules apply transgenderally
as Golden Ratios reply transculturally,
producing Golden Elixirs of inclusive consumer-producer satisfaction;

This day we will have done well
and faithfully,
truthfully
and trustingly,
peacefully
and justly.

Therapeutic Creation Stories

A lovely outcome for our recreational journey,
or Way
or Truths,
or LoveLives,
whichever you prefer to pick out
from among this graced array,
tells a multi-generational creation story
of cosmic sacred ecology
and Earth’s evolution revolutions,
drawing on and with
scientific deductive knowledge
both sacred ecology relevant
and issue moving
and sometimes tissue-grabbing
for covering tragic anti-creation nightmares
bringing saltwater tears of healing
for hungry eyes and ears
to avoid further angers and dualdark fears.

We emerge an intensely spiraling creation story
in polyphonic color
evoking awe and wonder,
fear-mongering pathologies
and yet also joy
for redistributing longing and belonging
and restoring responsibility
for divinely humane Therapeutic Stories.

This Universal Creation Story
is a dramatic tragic-comedy,
an opera of operations
and cooperations.

Throughout billions of years
of evolution,
with five prior periods of EarthBound revolutionary extinctions,
Yang-SunGod triumph
and Yin-MotherEarth disaster
have remained a wu-wei narrow-way
mid-way hairsbreadth and depth away
from restoring justice and peace
with each Sacred Ecological Other.

Yang violence technologies
and Yin re-creative arts
remain climatically pervasive.

Restoring capacities of YangSpace
with YinTime
to organize and re-organize ourselves
is sacredly and secularly remarkable–
from information of first atoms
through exformation of emergent sacred double-binding loves

Fundamentals of Yin’s hydrogen flow
and radicals of Yang’s oxygen radiance
have become a vibrant health-restoring
Sacred MotherEarth,

of restoring how this has happened
and to imagine a health-sustaining future

Reawakening,

redeeming
regenerating
into our prime relationship
with this Sacred Cosmos
is our medication means

for sustaining human witness, agency
within this restorative,
co-redemptive gift-economy

and subsequent health care development
of universally restorative design

could inspire 2020 reweaving vision
for this time of emergent climates
of revolutionary extinction.

This Creation Story

In this Revolutionary Extinction framework
the retributive damage human nature is causing
is criminally immense,
genocide of EarthTribe’s ReCreation Journey,
cataclysmic violent revolution
against Common GreenPeace Senses.

We recognize sacred ecological,
cooperative economic,
and restorative social change
as not only legally necessary
to protect multigenerational democracy-empowering Constitutions,
but ethically and morally and aesthetically
and affectively and effectively and infectively
necessary for healing ourselves.

This requires expanding our restorative justice frame
and broadening our permacultural worldview
for health restorative projects

We are already in this Therapeutic Creation Story,
doing this

Red and TrueBlue Family–4

Dear Siblings Three,

At least three of us four
have survived this first round
of sharing our seeing Reds
and our  feeling Blues.

At this point
I imagine our eldest sister
reading with interest,
and/or possibly contempt,
and holding all these things
in her heart and mind.

The other three of us,
two Blue,
elder Brother Red,
each have told our stories,
reviewed our positions
during this first year
of the Trump CEO
Public Sector Administration,
USA.

I did not find an explicitly stated value
or disvalue
shared by all three of us.

There are, of course,
several values and disvalues shared by the two Blues,
Kerry and me,
and two disvalues
shared by RedMike and BlueKerry
are loss of freedom
and loss of safety.
And, although I didn’t say so,
I would certainly put these two
squarely in my disvalues column
as well.

Integrity is a positive value
mentioned by both RedMike and BlueGerald, me.
While BlueKerry does not use the word
I know her well enough to appreciate
this also fits transparently within her values lens
just as venality and mendacious subterfuge
are disvalues
both Blue and Red CoHeld,
and yet too often targeted
by cash-fed multinational media.

Apparently
as we love integrity
we are also fascinated by its evil opposites,
like Lot’s wife
looking over her climate holocaust shoulder
when it would be way better for her health
to dwell on the PromisedLand in front of her.

Blue responses
emphasize health care giving
and sacred gift economy receiving,
restorative justice and peace,
and ecological education
as therapeutic values.

Mike’s Red response
emphasizes moral code,
law and order,
retributive justice
and defensive technologies and personnel
as more saliently held values.

Yet,
these are apparent differences of priority,
not necessarily oppositional Win-Lose differences.
Points of contrast invite comparison
and need not predict disloyalty of mutual incompatibility.

To my surprise,
and dismay,
I do see some points where active RedValues
seem to also be active BlueDisValues,
double-binding Win-Lose Boundary Issues:

RED / BLUE
Divine rulership-authority / degenerate monoculturing climates, cultures
Military strength / loss of global and national safety thru violence
Monocultural intent, monopolistic monotheism / sacred polyculturalism

As I look at these three,
they begin to look like three faces
of one tension
within a shared Sacred PolyPathic Intention:
Retributive blood justice through crusading JustWars
conjoining
Restorative EcoJustice through BiLateral PeaceMaking.
Old Testaments
within New Grace Contexts.

From a Red evangelical Christian frame,
this takes me back to Jesus Christ’s
prime Messianic message
and function
and purpose:
Jesus came to save this entire creolizing Earth
through Abba’s restorative grace economy,
baptism through living water and full enlightenment,
healthy light transubstantiating His Judaic Law and Order
retributive sacred justice through blood sacrifice Traditions,
through just-wars and OldSchool self-righteous jihads

Haunted By Wonder

I have become haunted by wonder,
within wonder,
surrounded by Wonder,
made of Wonder
these past few days
and troubling nights.

I have also become terrorized by vindication,
vindictive Win/Lose relationships
learned from retributive justice philosophers
who are also parents
and teachers,
so also soldiers
and Win/Lose economic and political leaders
vindicating themselves,
vindictive ourselves
against others who stand
in our colonizing,
rather than creolizing,
way.

Robin Wall Kimmerer
shares a Wonder dream
in a village market
where fresh bread and strawberries
are exchanged in a gift economy
of Wonder at what we have made
with God’s MotherEarth,
“the merchants were just intermediaries
passing on gifts from the earth.”

Gift economies,
when healthy and fair,
mature and cooperatively-owned and managed,
learn everything about Win/Win Wonder
and lose sight of Win/Lose

We individually,

have this fundamental choice to make
each minute of each revolving day
to see ourselves and our environments

or justified through mutually therapeutic Win/Win restoration.

These last few days,
and months,
here in the USA,
thinking about,
Does patriotism invite restorative justice more
and vindictive punishing blaming and shaming less?
I have also stood in stunned wonder
about how our Elders’ political and economic independence
from vindictive oppression of royalist plutocrats
provided such a rich fertile nationalism
for further vindictive plutocratic oppression
over our natural world,
de-sacralized,
reduced from nature-spirit nondual Wonder
to further vindictive climates for further oppression,
suppression,
victimization,
criminalization.

This is not what I expected
from an Office pledging patriotic allegiance
to the more perfectly uniting health and welfare
polyculturing democracy
of and for WinWin Earth-restorative justice.

It has been said
it is our healthy role of governance
to make it easier for compatriots
to do mutual good,
to restore Win/Win just relationships
of mutual Wonder
through cultures where gratitude
is planted and watered and harvested
so that monocultures of vindictive ingratitude
will evaporate
like the paranoid patriarchal fascinations
from which they broke through
our normativity of regenerate Wonder.

births landscapes

For there to be retributive Land beneath our exhausted feet
there was first restorative water
to welcome our potential gifts.

For us to become filled with Earth’s spatial wonders
there was first a timeless bilateral gift economy,
sufficiency as grace
through vulnerable sacred nurturing,
secular nutritioning,
WinWin dipolar exchanges,
wealth of healthing Wonder.

Before the dualism of landscapes
there was water immersion.

waves of redistributive winds.
