What are you grateful for,

I wonder if best practices for celebrating thanksgiving
for all we have and are already

celebrating all we do not yet have
and are already not enough.

I would, instead, become more everyday respectful

Princess Goldie was homeless

She walked lost
through this morning’s reforesting project,
learning to spring back together

Her tummy rumbled
