Optimizing WinWin Gratitude

This holistic position
simultaneously invites co-passion
and celebrates becoming ever more compassionate,

Inspired that Earth stewards hope to rightly balance
human relationships
with our wider ecological responsibilities.

These right relationships
and EarthCentered responsibilities
need not compete
with more anthropocentric views
of care-giving and -receiving rights
within theologically reasoned
and sensed,
thought and felt, responsibilities to Earth’s wealth
of health.

How I rightfully invest in family
and friends
and vocation
operates integrally
(not disassociated from)
with being
and becoming
a healthy resilient
and wealthy resonant
Earth organic energy system,
one identifiable ZeroSoul
interdependently individuated,
and yet still individuating.

Because humans are sacred sons and daughters
of matriarchal EarthWombs,
and DNA strictures within health strands
and maternal histories rebirthing toward future regenerations,
unbroken webs of intersectional win/win interests,
bleeding our past for mistakes
and breeding our future healthiest opportunities

EarthRights
predict humanely informed Sanctuaries,
prophesy invited Green organic
global and individual intentions
toward Win/Win Green Sanctuaries,

Shared sacred
safely invested
places and times
co-owned and eco-managed
where now lie more disassociated apartheid communities
of diverse idolatrous/industrial bodies
associations/disassociations
divisions/multiplications
corporations/decapitations
organic and mechanical
divine and robotic
complex and chaotic
unitarian networks and universal bosons,
exterior ecosystems and interior egocenters
compassioning timeless EarthWombed gratitude.

Compassion is not a fixed state,
not a property I can autonomously own;
As gratitude is verb of positive emergence,
a property we can only cooperatively co-own
as perpetually timeless
and yet momentarily eternal
becoming together
compassions
rooted in songs and dances
unfinishable
this side of Earth’s death.

This holistic life position
simultaneously activates love’s compassion fruit
and celebrates becoming ever more well-being
ego/eco-passionate.

Sacred Stewardship

Stewardship
is taking cooperative care of what you don’t own,
giving and receiving care
of what you could not rightfully own.

I could not exclusively own a symbiotic relationship,
a robust string of reiterative emerging communication,
a resonant relationship,
harmonic integrity.

I would most resiliently own nothing
without profound solidarity
lived in economic and politically empowering sanctuary,
free of colonizing intent
through capital-driven reductionism.

With a more ecofeminist cooperative stewardship
arises an ancient,
yet renewing, emerging win/win
bicameral co-passion,

Not about which transcendent spirits are up
and which beastly alien natures are down;

Not either divine
or human,

Not sacred
or reduced to mere mundane secularity,

Not mindfully transcendent
or mindlessly immanent,

Not supreme ecosystemic interdependence
or severely disassociated,
ego-uncentered.

Ecooperative stewardship
is about curious egos within
giving and receiving care
with and from courageous eco-life systems
interdependently cooperative,
more than hidden and competitive,
without prior resonant win/win association.

Stewardship,
both/and cooperative
more than either/or competitive,
bicamerally re-associates
restores
resonates
Left with Right bicameral thoughts with feelings
of warm care received from EarthWombed heritage
returned for Earth’s active compassion given
as received,

Won
as mutually successful,

Divine
as also humane,

Sacred
as profoundly communioned EarthNature,

Ego rights received
as eco-responsibilities cooperatively given
shared
communicated,

Eco-empathically co-relationed,
theologically co-passioned.

The Singing Theologian

I was gratefully listening
to a theologian musician
repeat a rabbinic tradition
of four levels of resonant soul:
individual (egosystemic),
communal (local),
social (cultural, national identity)
global (Earth,ecosystemic).

A mature musician,
like a wise theologian,
sees these four soul identities
as circular
double-binding octaves,
mutually informing up
and down,
in
and out.

As EarthMother’s original staging womb
organically recreates
using the fractal language of DNA inscription,
prediction,
predication,
to recreate yet another individual soul,
as BrahmanEarth outside soul
is to AtmanEgo inside spirit
of dynamic resonance,
preferring regeneration as positive
as more power-indwelling
than degeneration as negative.

So, it was jarring
when this musical theologian
referred to human bodies
as machines,
rather than organisms.

Machines seem to be left-brain dominant
power reductions
as compared with
Left with Right-balancing organisms.

For robotic machines,
punishing or rewarding communities,
leviathan bureaucratic
autocratic societies,
lifeless planetary spheres,
power is either on or off,
energy is positive or negative.

For living organisms,
individual through holonically Earth-wombed,
power is both regenerative
and degenerative,
positive and negative;

Not digitally governed by our either/or switch
but analogically healed, developed
and wounded, decomposing
with both/and holistic interdependent consciousness.

Human nature
sounds like a robotic analogy
and hopelessly predictable,
dully rational
as a LeftBrain dominant machine.

Humane nature/spirits
feel organically metaphoric
polyphonic
polypathically rounded
theo/eco-logical music composed
and decomposed,
marvelously trans-rational
as left with right hemispheric balance,
rhythm, communal
pitch, cultural
resonance, EarthWomb global
Soul,
ZeroZone regenerative
more powerful than degenerative,

Yet organic cycles
and recycles,
purpose
and repurposes of life
decomposing death
require both
to recreate
recompose
recologize
recognize
theologize
musical soul
as powerful
resonant
both-thought/and-felt structure.

But, when we started singing together
I knew
for sure
he, as we,
feels more and better
as metaphoric musicians
than analogical machines.

Theological Mediation

I asked our local Unitarian-Universalist minister
if she could see God
as Original Creative Source of Earth (OCSE).

Eventually,
after a rather long pause,
peaceful, not anxiety producing,
she said Yes.

I asked the Shiloh Baptist Bishop
if he could know God
as Abba,
as did Jesus of Nazareth.

He thought about this,
a rather odd yet warm paternal question,
perhaps a trick?
a test?
But, eventually, trusted us enough
to add his Yes.

I asked the All Souls U-U minister,
Would she be willing to imagine,
to heuristically assume,
for the next hour,
that what she feels inside
and believes outside,
what she hopes and faiths,
compassions as OCSE
might be, or at least slowly become,
synonymous with the more patriarchal sounding Abba,
perhaps yangish Abba
to her OCSE yintegral felt intelligence.

She found this a lot to take in
hold
juggle
and yet listen and speak with integrity
all in this unsafe time of confrontation.
But, Why not?
she asked, rhetorically,
I assumed.

Then I asked the Shiloh Baptist Bishop
the same question,
in reverse,
with Abba still as yang
and OCSE as yin

This felt appropriate,
and not really unorthodox
and therefore theologically safe,
to AfricanAmerican him,
so he said Yes, of course,
history supports an AfroCentric
Original Creative Source
for all human natures.

From there
They seemed to enjoy co-discovering
ecological analogies
for theological regeneration
and degeneration
And theological metaphors
for ecological healing
and wounding.

With nothing much more for me to do
as multicultural mediator of eco/theo-logical peace
restoring win/win justice,
I began outlining
how we might join our choirs
in con-celebration,
singing gospel anthems
while engaging our combined sacred Body
in tai-chi stretches
into and back out of
fluid mindbody positions.

Why is racism
so difficult to own
and heal
for fragile western
and northern white people?

Why is patriarchalism
so difficult to own

against narcissistic straight white males?

Why is nonbinary heterodoxuality
so difficult to orthodoxically own
and multiculturally heal
for fragile binary
authoritative
normative
monoculturalists
against LGBTQ unwhite
unstraight
unpatriarchal rainbows
celebrating spectral color?

Why is win/win compassion
so difficult to own
and polypathically mend
for fragile win/lose humanity
EitherWin/OrLose dominating left-brain
ego-centered survivalists,
anxious about transparent differences
vulnerable changes
right-brain multicultural interdependent experience
hope
passion
ecstasy?

Why is Elitism
so difficult to own
and heal
for fragile NonElite life=love
breathing=joy
positive-mind = healthwealth-embodied systems?

Life Planning Love

We were sitting in our 60+ sharing circle
on a rainy Tuesday afternoon,
grey and raw and dreary,
listlessly speaking of the need to downsize,
to transition to a more manageable
more safe
more audible habitat.

And wanting to hang onto our independent mobility,
our cars, in most middle-class cases,
as long as possible.

We talked about proactive planning optimal independence,
about eventually living with our kids,
about potential confluence and conflicts of interest,
about shrinking invulnerable distances
between “someday,
as far from today,
as possible”
and the lightning quickness
of crushing physical and/or mental disability,
non-communication ability,
through accidents and aneurysms,
unfortunate and therefore unplanned critical events.

We did not talk about
how we felt
courageous and curious,
brave and patient,
afraid and angrily impatient
about how mortal life is what continues
only one day
one uncritical moment
at a time
while planning for other loving things
to unfold before
“no longer sacred SomeTime
as far away from secular today
as physically AND mentally,
naturally and spiritually, possible.

I didn’t notice,
until later,
we also didn’t look at cooperatively-held
unitarian plans
for win/win
health/wealth outcome optimization.

The hypothetical possibility
today
is “someday” for mutual pre-planning
cooperative downsizing
and shared mobility challenges,
resources,
opportunities,
risks,
vulnerabilities,
strengths,
letting go by first grabbing hold
of shared imaginations.

We didn’t talk
about how much we didn’t like
the empty chairs,
About how we miss, already,
Kate and Betsy
Jan and Sandy
and what they are planning
between shared now
and autonomous then.

Their unique and irreplaceable ways
of planning and not planning
pre-planning and re-planning
life each day
while continuing with other relationships
other communications
communions
communities.

I didn’t talk
about wanting to live with other singers
and maybe even dancers,
with others deeply committed to compassion
for both mortal humans
and immortal living Earth

Hopefully,
providing
inviting habitats of warm
cooperatively-owned and -managed
accompaniment,
creative improvisation,
jazz rhythms,
blues beats,

Especially on raw phrases,
dreary riffs,
rain-drenched
Tuesday jamming afternoons
of richly audible gloom.

Point of Departure

My time of promise,
before mistrust of parents
settled into growing fear
and grief into angry disappointment

Began with a visit
from a GreatHorned Owl
dying on our barbed wire fence

Announcing she would go before
but return for my time
to follow heaven’s departed promise.

But, my father responds,
Only straight humans sing in white evangelical Heaven,
And this planted my seed of doubt

A cosmic point
in bitter anticipation
of further adult atrocities to follow
in imaged flight

From this brief encounter
with natural and spiritual wings
I gradually developed internal witness:

If not ecologically necessary,
then not yet theologically sufficient.

Now,
still breathing,
singing and dancing,
beyond all reasonable health risks
of my own environmental history
in a new barbed millennium,
on the cusp of 2020 EarthJustice
left and right winged co-revision,

Heaven’s great-returned owl
revisits in near nightly dreams

Inviting me, and us,
to set aside anger,
to grab hold of more compassion
ego/eco-therapeutic communion
communication

Inclusion in Heaven’s climatic winning
ecologically wise theologies,
long incubating Rapture–
safe flight home.

 

I go back,
reversing imaged time
to when I felt
and knew untrammeled internal space
responsive within external
eternally immortal times
of Earth’s regenerative history.

For some,
again less fortunate re-imagining
with some conversing,
comparing rights,
contrasting lefts
hear no such winning exterior ecopolitics
with winning internal empowerment
and self-investment
since emerging from EarthMother’s
redundant DNA nurturing womb.

But, for a few,
a time of awareness
recalls a later conscious memory,
a time of courageous and curiously restoring justice
to those few relationships
showing early signs of uncreative anthro-centric tension.

These, unusually blessed
with resilient confluence,
may not recognize each wisdom-visiting other
and yet search for their potential bodhisattva peers,
returning to these childhood experiences
to remember slowly regrowing what went right
and vulnerably wrong
for restoring peace-filled justice
within and without
ego/eco-empowering tipping points,
wealth of healthy co-redemption

For all wombs,
their plantings and yieldings,
now still searching
through past generations
still incarnate in wombs
birthing future health-seeking regenerations.

Encultured bodies teach in binary history
of masculine elite win/lose entitled living dominance
and feminine non-elite lose/lose sadly dying recessive
bipolar cultures.

Elite white straight males
of Western mind
and patriarchal heartlessness

donated to preferably receptive women
to carry
and give birth to healthy future consumers

Who increasingly live in crowded
noisy
sleep-deprived cities
of concrete
asphalt
and glass ceilings

Where once lived
less elite organic soil,
rivers of lusciously amazing water,
and blue skies of invitation,
sacredly, not segregatedly,
accessible to all non-aparted species,
all organic creations of good faith embodied character,
hetero and homo and trans and pan-associative
eco-receivers and ego-producers
balancing economic and political empowerment
polypathically
to achieve more resilient polycultural outcomes,
health defining truths of deep polyphonic wealth
resonance

Descendants of multicultural immigrations
producing and consuming polypathic multicolors
polyphonic his/herstories
of radiant Sun and receptive Earth
cohabiting this future light
green-blue LeftBrain healthy home
in ElderRight-hearted wealthy uniting space/time Universe,
interdependently free
to resonantly spiral and revolve

Reverberating Synergy

When we look at life,
contingently standing out from death,
historically and futuristically absent,
co-passionately present,
we can see death and dying
as a logical default,
a statistical reality,
almost a necessity
so likely that life emerges
as a reverse default,
experienced only by vulnerably mortal living beings
mutually becoming

Whom each day awakens to another miracle
of living
unfolding further Earth history
and to ego-identified internal life process,
a holonic gift,
an inheritance
borrowed from past generations
to invest in present and future regenerations
of life
emerging from past death and dying
fueling fertile soil,
cleansing water,
stirring clear air
and incensed warm-lit flames
of reverberating annunciation.

Historic Healing Projects

I had two big projects
from 1970 to 1975,
The first,
to earn a usually white Bachelor dual-major degree
(which sounds at least sexist
as a usually black, brown, red, yellow Mistress nondegree)
of deep learning about yin/yang,
right/left,
east/west interconnections
cultural communions
between persuasive Speech [and non-verbal] Communication
and attitude changing Psychology.

My second project,
like the first,
was about coming out of my investigating queer closet;
how to find peace
ease
resonance
within a new, yet resilient, extended family
through healthy attitude change
about GLBTQ identity
and hetero/homo interdependent family persuasions.

These two projects,
one feeding my left brain academic hunger,
the other watering my right mind emotive thirst
for healthy communicating win/win relationships
of untold infinite harmonic historic resonance
for EarthTribe rememory climates,
theological inside metaphors
for resilient outside ecological communions,
healings,
regenerations,
creolization of interdependent gratitude
rather than heterosexual colonization attitude;
became One curious and courageous investigative aptitude,
Project.

This comes to mind
as I think about how the religious,
theologically driven, sector
of my local community is,
and is not,
prepared to lead us into climate rapture
rather than more degenerate business as usual climates of trauma,
loss,
lose-ego/lose-eco death.

Healing competitive win or lose climates,
sadly heading toward almost inevitable traumatic loss
of living EarthTribe identities
and living Earth
invites historians to remember
“traumatized parts stay frozen in time
for a reason, right?”
(from Sarah Peyton’s “Your Resonant Self” p. 105)
AND
therapeutically interdependent parts stay fluid
across historic climate changes
for a reason, left and right?…

Whether theologically perceived as secular NotGod nature
or ecologically felt as sacred Gaia spiritual webs
of interdependently complex emergent EarthMother
historically co-present rebirthing wombs,

Disconnected religious-theological memories
protect business as usual
eco-illogical exploitation
of sacred Earth,

Ecological life continues
while local faith community theologies
are planning for other rapturous and hellish things

Bowing to our own collective trauma
of universal sacred interdependence
giving way to immersion experiences
in disconnecting traumas
of fallen
fallow win/lose competitive human egocentric nature
more powerful than right mind Earth-climate balancing spirits
creolizing hetero/homo historical resilience,
multi/mono-cultural resonance.

So,
our early 2020 historical revision project
begins with revisiting our diverse faith community
local histories.
How were these motivated
to bring together for healing
lives ignored
neglected
marginalized
suppressed
enslaved
raped
inquisitioned
and otherwise abused
by already established good/bad faith communities?

How were established theological communions
potentially enriched
by their new neighbors?
Prepared for healthy win/win creolization climates
rather than ever more chaotic trauma
of win/lose side-by-side stiff-jawed tolerance
of not cooperative gospel-singing divisions
between lives co-present on sacred Earth
intended for interdependent raptures
of healthy-wealth webs and wombs
for actively hopeful life?

What are the original founders,
our local saints of communal faith inheritance,
inviting us to reconsider?
How to grow theological and ecologically healthy resilience
to end traumatized-by-negative-climate degeneration
pollution
rabidly competitive over-populated
and under-inspired
merely tolerated secular multiculturalism
rather than actively curious poly-culturalistic sacred immersion experiences
in locally complex histories
reweaving future win/win communal potentialities,
left brain resilient climates
with right mind theologically resonant local nature/spirit
trans-regeneration
transubstantiating theo/eco-logical communion
for present
and future
co-inhabiting past
health/wealth climates of co-revival,
inter-religious thrival.
