A sustained mystery for more long-term resilient cohabitation
is how to exchange high tolerance for ambiguity,
with, and not for, active curiosity about both/and ambiguity,
vulnerable dipolarity both/anding transparent bipolarity,
merging win/lose stuckness
in our emerging collective illusion
of ego-identity’s fundamental

Autonomy of identity

Dear Evangelical Brother

Dear Brother,

When we were children
adults often asked us
What do you hope to be
when you grow up?

But, our brothers and sisters
were more likely,
and probably more wise,
to ask
Who would you most hope to become?
To be like?

Which implies, to my unformed ear
and eye,
Which of these adults you know,
or know of,
do you like best
as a mentor
for your own happiest and healthiest,
and most prosperous
future?

I am about to finish reading Iain McGilchrist’s
“The Master and his Emissary.”
And, if I had known Master McGilchrist
as a sixteen year old,
I would probably have said
I want his life
and that’s the guy I want for my BigBrother!
I would be his most zealous emissary.
He’s the one I would become
just alike,
twins if possible.

Twin careers.
Twin ideas.
Twin knowledge and wisdom.
Twin naturality and spirituality
and natural law
and ordered sacredness,
emotionally intelligent communion.

But, that was then
and this is now.
And I wonder if I ever asked you,
not what kind of evangelical Christian
white privileged Western capitalist
doctrinaire thing do you hope to proficiently do
when you finally grow up?

But, instead,
to find the courage to ask you
Who would you,
embodied in Christ,
become like
when you are suffering servanting
in your thirties?

We might have had a lifelong dialogue,
not about creeds and dogma
and theological departures from win/win co-redemptive
cooperative economies,
compared to win/lose capitalist business as secularly usual,
compared to lose/lose degeneratively devilish and bearish economies,
more disempowering long-term climate trends
than empowering hope
faith
love.

We might have thought out loud together
about how Suffering Public and Private Servants
are like a Messiah
like a Bodhisattva Peace Warrior
like a PermaCulture CoOperative Designer
like a Restorative Justice and Win/Win Peace Advocate
like a Green STEAM architect,
a resilient engineer,
or prolific teacher
and skilled listener,

We might hope to combine
gospel references to right-hemisphere Revelationary Sacred Rapture
and healthy left-hemisphere climate preferences
for Evolutionary Secular Promise,

A promised return to sacred/secular
RightWing and LeftWing
become whom we would most like to hear
as faithful health scientists and wealth musicians,

Disciples of sacred wealthy
best means secular healthy
reborn again
reweaving
returning
resiliently recombining
global green Body of Christ experience,
feeling,
thought,
optimally appealing.

I’m sorry for not asking
how I could be a healthier and wiser
gay Christian-Taoist-ZenBuddhist-Native Nature/Spirit Wisdom
inspired and inspiring
younger brother,
more sure with your trust
and inner truths
than without you.

I’m sorry distant homophobic fears
and perhaps anger?
envy?
repulsion?
fear of predation?
(this part remains unclear)
seem to have kept us from mutually asking,
Who would we most like to become like together
when we are in our sixties
and seventies?

And now,
When this question seems more plausible,
and immediate,
I wonder how different, and yet the same,
are our opportunities to experience
this sacred potential
for re-creating loving Earth, together,
fertile,
healthiest wealth of HolySpirit embodiment
celebrating Her sacred historical birth Brother,

Unlike Jacob and Esau,
reconnected by sacred Matriarchal Wombs
culminating in reborn virginal brothers
saved/not-not saved from lose/lose perdition,
partition,
through both universal-human/unitarian-divine
natural Messianic win/win Spirit,
consiliently sacred,
resiliently secular,

Heavenly stardust Fog
embracing global oceanic dark waves,
currents of timeless
flowing potential color and multicultures,
rhythms and patterns and flow designs,
Living Waters,
truth with trust,
Wombs with Ways toward necessary Light,
nights and co-redemptive days

More WiseElder for sinister sacred Right retributive Judge
and golden secular Left restorative Advocate,
still listening compassionately together,
less fundamentally apart,
with good evangelical humor,
more than bad.

Integrity yields to dualistic mendacity,
not artifice to InTegriTea,
seasoned by and with Earth
Mothering experience,
memory,
longing,
promise,
passion…

Embracing compassion yields to anthro-hubris snarcyschism,
Win/Win gives out to Lose-society/Lose-individual
divided cynicism,
not Lose/Lose mendacity
found in TegriTerrestrial Tea.

Drinking inTegri Tea
is a wonder spatial
awesomely timeless temporal
way to set aside sufficient Right
over not enough Left time
to communion within
and out our perpetually migrant sensual selves.

When I drink in TegriTea,
I only drink ego’s eco-integrity.

I don’t need to think
about tomorrow’s objectives
but also feel with fellow-migrant in TegriTea subjective
workers yielding to co-players,
mentors yeilding emotive facilitators
of compassioned communication.

I can stop all my alien divestments
while I drink in TegriTea.

When ego stops disembodied abstractions,
I can double-bind eco-attending
in natural/spiritual TegriTea.

There and here
only InTegriTea’s vast watering potential.

Here embodied
and Now timelessly temporal
is only we/me
in TegriTea
co-passionate inspiraling

Between me
and Inte-gritty
natural/spiritual
outside/inside connection,
re-connecting soil and soul.

I don’t want or need a cell phone
or computer
or even language
to watch and listen in TegriTea’s communion.

In RightWing dominant fact,
because I’m not emotionally speaking,
I can wealthier track
within this co-passioning in TegriTea

Ego breathes in,
I am aware inTegriTea’s fragrance
is here,
Ego is aware
my RightWing dominated body
smells in TegriTea feeling
and I’m eco-aware
that passion’s passing InTegriTea
grows healthiest
in resilient HereEmbodied
Now in TegriTea.

“Drink in TegriTea!”
invites a ZeroSoul Zen command
to bring me back
to our true
and trusted EarthMother wounded womb.

Don’t just think about and around
emotionally intelligent communion.

Be Here embodied
Now minded,
climate united in TegriTea.

I am trusting
this vortex time is by climate invitation
and not by paranoid
absence of co-present passion.

I am not yet a spiraling shadow;
I am embodied health
in TegraNation process,
and Earth outside knows
and inside feels
rations and reasons,
loves and passions

This Here/Now
a bilateral vortex in TegriTea’s cup,
deep and yet wide
yang and yet yin binomially stretched out
and down,
north
and south,
west
and east,
right
and left out
and in my tea-washed
tea-fueled
tea-nourished
tea-nurtured
in TegriTerrain co-passion,
spatial spiraling Wonder
returning hiccup in timeless Awe.

LeftWing green nature tea
yields reluctantly
to RightWing disembodied
spiritualized fake-zeal,
not RightWing unhealthy secular artifice
to LeftWing sacred health,
liberally sacred loving
liberate ionic
ironic
iconic IntegriTease’
emotionally intelligent Nature

Yields to artifice,
not cognitive artifice
to sacramental Nature.

Nature’s Theology

If ecology
is about right economic and political relations
between natural organisms,
and species,
and interdependent climate systems,

And theology
is about left and right
western dualistic
and eastern nondualistic co-relations
between enspirited inspiring music,
and secular muses,
and universal sacredly holonic systems,

Then why does theological Rapture
not look and sound
smell and taste
feel and think
curiously and courageously more like ecological Climax?
within internal motions
as also outside climate mentors,
voices,
passions,
imagined communions with each Other.

Depending
and co-depending
on whether breathing in western left-brain wealth
of Wisdom,
or breathing out eastern right-brain health
of humane/divine
timeless
nurturing
Light

Nature’s dual/dark
double/boundary
theology
as Energy’s interdependent
secular/sacred
health democracy.

Life On Top

I long to be the top new-green leaf
on the tallest swaying spring breeze tree
in my florid fragrant late-spring neighborhood.

Not to lord myself
as superior to all my more fundamentally plebeian brethren,
but to celebrate this vast sisterly view
of who we sunlit glowing are
becoming toward summer’s climax together,

Then falling gracefully
in full colored autumn,
when I will have the longest downward flighting float
of all migrations

Becoming, once again,
a sacred part of snow-covered soil
feeding next spring’s tallest new-green leaf
of All transregenerators.

Healthy Arts

A sometimes Yin
sometimes Yang
climate health advocate,
reading Thich Nhat Hanh,
unlyrically speaking of the Arts,
Muses of Communication,
creating resiliently wealthy Community,

S/he warmly considers
Why is such a simple book
so difficult to remember,
and breathfully incarnate?
Soaring through each chapter
for the third time
in less than an historic decade,

She notices
before “Art of Communicating”
Thich Nhat Hanh wrote
Science of “Fear.”

Fears about courageously communicating
even within our left and curious right hemispheres
about either/or
thought v feeling
dominating Western sciences
for dualistic cognitive nature v emotive spirit research
overpowering both/and Eastern acts of compassion,
compression
expansion

S/he holds these sacred communion keys
close within his vest,
listening for peaceful control
of that which leaves her
listening impassioned nest.

She speaks harmonic mantras
for love of understanding
when suffering arises
so too do fear
and stressed out waiting ominous boredom,
without nurtured lives of courage
climate planning.

Despite lapse of peaceful memory,
s/he’s more mindful now of vocational communions
in global interweaving communities
continuing resilient international health communication

When s/he practices
zen re-reads
time re-practices
curious compassions
overwhelming Western fear-filled praxis.

My eyes wander against this white privileged door,
starkly plain in sight
and self-secured.

My mind wonders around this bedroom door
as if the first ever seen
back when doors
were open doorways
for entering curiously in
and courageously back out
of cavernous
or canopied shelters
from storms and cold
and unbearable desert heat.

I wonder courageously against
and curiously about this white door
as if the first and last one ever seen
and heard.

What were doorways called
before we had white doors?

Invitations
or opportunities
and risks to turn my eyes and back
away from outside climates,
too inhospitable.

What were these entrances and exits named?
Non-doored ways to inside shelters
and outside adventures,
long before white privileged history
and reborn climates of pathology.

Sometime During the Night

Sometime during the night
I knew what was more right
to sing our songs
with great yang might
and soft yintegrity’s not wrongs.

We could sustain our notes
within this singing circle,
whether loud or soft,
but not too soft
to slowly feel our pitch
veer yinly flat.

Whether bright or dull,
vibrato or flat-line pure linear
waves of yang/yin sounds
to hear
to uniformly match dipolar
co-arising
and multiculturally mixed.

Then, as we listen and sustain,
we are free to retain our interdependent voices
of dissonance and confluence,
of dissent and harmony,
of resistance and peace,
and also free to change
toward growing harmony
or growing disharmony.

And, as we listen for re-alignments
in our ego/eco-voicing stream of time,
we grow free to hear with right-hemispheric wholeness
of our collective chord changes,
fluctuations,
together soft,
now growing louder,
softer,
bolder,
more peaceful
until fading into silent joy,
listening to our echoing after-ring power
of collective yang/yin reweaving memory.

We are no different,
on our better win/win communicating days,
of listening to curiously understand
than actively speaking out and up
for ego/ecological resilience
timelessly echoing,
both vibrato and flat-line
peacefully ever mountain/valley after.

Co-empathic passions
like hearts with flowers,
mothers with soft sunny spring shower days,

Develop interdependent webs
of both/and intimacy,
like bodies with loving minds
wrapped around loving partners
and cooperative vocational co-owners,

Regenerating love life
lived win/win optimally well,
like an organic ecofeminist farmer
dancing nutritional poetry in fertile field
re-membering heirloom beauties,
present cooperatively developing family,
present within seeds of future generations
and past polypathic nutrient nurturers,
enculturers of win/win multi-regenerational health.

Upon our ego deathbeds,
this great terminal either/or culminating identity event,
this both/and co-passioning quality opportunity
of left-mind’s secularly embodied health
and right-mind’s sacred wealth
reconnect with passionate interdependent Others
resiliently mattering most
both/and resonantly intelligent
within Earth’s continuously emerging
win/win
health/wealth multiculturing opportunities,

Co-passions inviting imperatives
of flex-stretching both/and attachment
live better lives,
healthier inclusive loves.

Yet
capitalism and patriarchalism
learned by left-brain dominance
where balancing right-brain ecofeminist prominence
could better drive our co-passioning polypathic train
of historic healthing events,

In which win/lose capitalism
invites us to over-invest in ZeroSum competitions
for disempowering Other’s co-passions,
rather than inviting reinvestment
in emotive connection,
ZeroSoul timeless inter-relationship

Despite epic nutritional growing years
of oxytocin both/and evolution
to relentlessly nature/spirit quest
yin-belonging
integral intimate organic connection webs,

While Yang too-autonomous monoculturing supremacy
resists redefining wealthy people
as those healthy enough
to not need either/or left-dominant
ZeroSum ego-identified
anthropocentric predation over Others,

Building a dispassionate monoculture of either/or cognitive fundamentalism
is at radically compassionate both/and odds
with any interdependent organic multiculturing body/mind
secular-biological/sacred-ecological interdependent
EarthMothered identity.

It has been said
Charles Darwin was not happy
with leftbrain’s Survival of the Fittest
without rightbrain’s ecosystemic health roots
in Thrival of the Fittin-ingest,

Which Bateson,
and other systemic ecologists,
would later call interdependent co-acclimation,
and Jane Gordon politically theorizes
rare histories of win/win creolization
with much healthier outcomes
and wealthier too,
than leftbrain’s fascination
with wealth-acquiring colonization.

Foolish leftbrain dominance,
so unaware history has regeneratively concluded
there is no lasting resilient wealth
without ecosystemic EarthClimate health.

Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations
produced similar unease
about evolutionary theories
denying the primally obvious
Health of Interdependent NationStates
through robust natural/spiritual Earth consciousness,
co-passioning double-binding nonduality,
like bipolar either Yang or Yin of reductive ZeroSum reasoning
and dipolar both Yang with Yin of inductive ZeroSoul co-nurturing.

While Adam Smith’s leftbrain wrote,
“The necessity of civil government grows up
with the acquisition of valuable property…
till there be property there can be no government,
the very end of which is to secure wealth,
and to defend the rich
from the poor.”

His more interdependently ecosystemic rightbrain
was feeling,
“The opportunities of civilizing governance grows up and out
with the acquisition of healthy interdependent properties
of communal co-acclimation…
till there be cooperatively integral properties
there can be no ego/ecosystemically thriving co-governance,
the very beginning through end of which is to secure health,

of the too leftbrain dominant rich.”

Where “capitalism permits wealth
to purchase,
own,
and profit from natural resources,”
notes Kenneth Cloke’s ecosystemic analysis,

There also,
integralism, integrity,
invites health to invest in,
to cooperatively own wealth,
and resiliently benefit with nondual natural/spiritual resources,

Not only LeftBrain “exhausting the land on which our food is produced,”
but also RightBrain feeding our soil-souls
from which our sensory nutritional awareness is rooted
and wombed;

Not only “poisoning the water we drink
and polluting the air we breathe,”
But also healing the living waters we consume
and collaboratively purifying the air trees breathe
and bicameral lungs digest
ingest
outgesture;

Not merely “the sale and consumption of fossil fuels,
irrevocably heating our planet,
altering our weather,
raising sea levels,
extinguishing countless species
and threatening the survival of millions,
if not all species”…

But also re-investment in natural/spiritual
left/right systems
interdependently cooling our robust planet,
re-acclimating our weather,
re-lowering sea levels,
cooperatively planting and nurturing countless species
and fostering the thrival of ecosystemically resilient millions,
if not all left/right
yang/yin balancing
anthro/eco-systemic life
on secular/sacred
deductive/inductive
unfolding explicate/refolding implicately co-arising
win/win binomial ZeroSoul compassion with Earth.

Where leftbrain’s either + or (-,-)1
is also rightbrain’s resolution
both + and (-,-)0-Soul,
like positive psychology polynomials
equivalently health/wealth valued
as not-not polynomial
neurologically interdependent polypathic web systems,
inviting both wealthy rightbrain polyphonic co-passion
and further leftbrain healthy curiosity.
