On Religious Integrity

Let us begin
by explicitly undressing
what may have been
implicitly held
multicultural feelings:

  1. For the overwhelming masses
    of teeming and scheming
    healthy human adults,
    and especially adolescents,
    peak sexual experiences
    are also our peak
    lifetime
    spiritual experiences
    of compassion
    co-passion
    shared orgasmic passion.
  2. Our elder right hemispheres do not,
    because they cannot,
    distinguish between spiritual
    and mental
    health,
    brain
    and body wealth.

With these two declared assumptions,
please join in revisiting
public sector sensitive issues
about constitutionally protected
religious freedom
in the USA,
and probably in other
monotheistic
left hemisphere dominant
cultures,
making privileged spaces
for straight
male sensory places.

Religious expression
is rooted
in spiritual/mental
healthy felt connected
safe experience
of win/win nonviolent communication,
compassionate communion
sacred memories.

Family businesses
and corporate executive boards
and healthcare professionals
are constitutionally allowed
to make choices
inconsistent with our own
interdependent spiritual/mental peak
win/win
panentheistic organic experience

But, such a profound lack of integrity
does not help us develop
a more universally democratic
and multicultural frame
of spiritual/mental health care,
well-being
prosperity
resonance
resilience.

Whether nonviolence practitioners
can be constitutionally obligated
to pay war and military,
violence and win/lose aggression,
consumptive capitalist exploitation,
and weapons development and production
taxes
and yet retain meaningful constitutional protection
for spiritual freedom of co-passionate conscience
becomes left brain cognitively complex,
if not downright chaotic.

Whether faith-based communities
can continue to be tax-exempt
feels as clear as democratic
multiculturally celebrated
separation of nonviolent religious expression
and nation-state defensive affiliation

Why a minute of silent
compassion-focused spiritual/mental experience
feels both constitutionally appropriate
and healthy democracy useful
for opening self/other governance meetings,
team huddles,
graduations and commencements
from and into great
and even smaller public transitional events,
bolstering spiritual/mental health resilience
of shared trust consciousness.

Whether inclusive multicultural
non-supremacist religious symbols,
such as a PeaceDove,
a Chalice of communal hope,
a messianic Manger scene,
and a Menorah,
can be installed in public spaces
to evoke spiritual/mental health experiences
and not toxic memories
of homophobic,
racist,
sexist victimization,
trauma,
and chronic stress experiences,
may depend on how inclusive
and compassionate
our own childhood
and adolescent
peak social health experiences
were celebrated,
revered,
honored,
appreciated.

Whether spiritual/mental health education systems
can effectively exclude
non-supremacist expressions
of positive faith
in peak sensory experiences
in the classroom
may depend on whether we believe
a healthy democracy
is rooted in trust
or in capitalism’s competitive
mutual mistrust.

Whether faith-based non-profits
can apply on equal egalitarian footing
with secular corporate privileged organizations
for compassion regenerating
governing grants
to increase spiritual/mental health experiences,
may depend on whether we are remembering
good faith peak experiences
or bad faith competitive
fear of losing out
bullying experiences.

Whether healthy win/win
faith-based communities
and individuals can,
and even must,
advocate for public policies,
including integral health care,
that are consistent with their membership’s
most personal spiritual/mental health experience,
or not so much

These issues
and peak spiritual experience concerns
about loss of healthy wealth
also pertain to freedom
of nonviolent communication speech.

Compassionate communication,
win/win freedom
of resonant
primal inter-relationship,
is the fundamental healthy democracy
trust experience
on which all other integral rights
to spiritual/mental health
are rooted,
wombed,
incubated,
rewoven,
morphed,
regenerated.

On the other hand,
if we begin with different,
more dualistic
and monotheistic assumptions
about this relationship between synergetic religious
and peak spiritual/mental experience
of everyday sacred connection,
then our constitutional conclusions
may vehemently
and irreconcilably
and dogmatically
differ.

Green Body of Christ

When I was a child
my evangelical family
went to People’s CoOperative Bible Church,
to rapturously pray and praise our privileged preachy partialness,
political and economic and social and environmental,
spiritual against physical apartheid
of superior, divinely-inspired, theology,

Yet, somehow rooted in mission-driven competitions
against the fullness of non-sectarian time
sufficient to bring inclusive nutrients,
liquid and capital-hoarded assets for future rainy
blizzard blustering
dominant days,
at least six per week
severed from Sabbath’s cooperatively wondrous Kingdom
at open-systemic nurturing hand,

Celebrated by declaring our victorious Communion
on God’s glorious not capital-driven work on Sunday
seated in humble chairs of classroom youth,
eventually wooden pews of adult authority
in our small
segregated
AllWhite People’s Sectarian Bible Church.

I recall not even one Sunday School lesson
about what the Holy Historical Body of Christ
might have to do with our potential
Green MultiCulturing Spirit of Healing Christianity,

Nothing about tensions between communion
and monocultural supremacist apartheid,

Nothing about walls between WinWin healthy sacred interdependence
and WinLose stringent secular autonomy of capitalism,

Nothing about Great NonTransitional Divides
between cooperative passions and competitive dispassions,
between Heavenly to-gatherness
and too much Earthly apartness,
between celebration of health
and holocaust of anthro-centric pathology.

Maybe I missed that non-violence teaching Sunday,
But I did not miss experiential theology lessons
of tensions between heterosexual patriarchal monocultural evangelism
and Heaven’s vast radically inclusive promise
of a polycultural
non-apartheid
eternal communioned outcome for Earth-dwellers,
especially for child-like peacemakers,
Holy Spirit inheritors,
regenerators,
co-messiahs within this one secular/sacred Body of Christ.

Active hope for such enchanting holistic bodies
and spirits of vulnerable and transparently loving Messianic Missions,
in the West,
and Bodhisattva PeaceWarriors,
in the East,
felt, even then, as a child,
like emotionally interdependent
enchanting intelligence.

Perhaps,
if we could all arrive in everyday Sabbath Heaven,
in absence of six-day capital over-invested apartheid,
we might discern warmer inviting Lights
are also Truths
and communioned Ways
to sing God’s/Gaia’s EarthBound greening praise

As when we first began
in Planet’s CoOperative Bible Church.

Doing Church

Church is usually a noun
for a sanctuary becoming place

But, both church and sanctuary
are scripturally more about revolutionary verbs.

Countering capital-consumer culture
Churching
giving and receiving healthy cooperatively-owned sanctuary
are what good news faith communities do
to earn a reputation
for wealth of love,
gratitude for more hope-filled futures
together,
more than autonomously apart.

Synergetically giving and receiving sanctuary
cannot be done with both integrity
and contempt,
And can be optimized with both gratitude for error
and terrifying opportunities
to fast-extend hopeful compassion,
a positive energy democratic crisis
seeking immediate through long-term
WinWin polypathic outcomes.

Recent choices of a good health sanctuary movement
look back to November of 2016 in the U.S.
and to RightWing fear-mongering plutocratic contests
throughout Earth’s non-violent health-sanctuaries,
lower inclusive standards of liberal ultra-violet integrity
to love each Other,
healthy and not so much
just yet.

Health care exercises active compassion
Which could not include
turning a nakedly competing corporate emperor
into the Nakedly Competing International Emperor
presiding over entitled epi-ego-idolatry centers
conservatively loathing liberal sanctuary movements,
villages,
communities,
extended loving families
of nature/spirits.

Compassion for Naked Emperors
and for our own competing anti-sanctuary ways
invites each green therapeutic vocational call
to re-invest

Green Gay Advocate

When I was about twelve
I began to see my future
as a ruthlessly effective
overpoweringly sublime advocate for justice
as global peace outcomed and measured,
As a courtroom drama officer
of the U.S. multicultural Court EcoSystem,
A flaring hot attorney
of the U.S.
and global green
legal testosterone-preferred system.

When I was about sixteen,
I began to question the resilience
of Win/Lose ecological and theological partial-rapture Dreams.
I wanted to belong
in a more resilient WinWin restoration
of local through global peace through ecojustice
and how could I do that
in a Win/Lose punishment egosystem
designed to avoid
or at least ignore
Loser predator and Loser prey’s ultimate EarthTribe outcomes,
pathological death and dying degeneration?

When I was about twenty
I began to see myself
as a great preacher and teacher
of WinWin co-redemptive multicultural
and permaculturally perennial religion
evolving straight through reincarnate cultures
ourselves.

But, how could I become that sainted preacher
of rainbow natural and spiritually timeless integrity
as an uncommitted agnostic,
a mere investigative journalist
rather than an active subject of history’s grand full-voiced stage,
or passive object of Win/Lose greed and lusting culture?

I lack sufficient articulation
within any one integrity path,
one Paradise garden polypathic,
one walk within God’s harmonic matriarchal newborn voices,
speaking creation
through naturally diversifying generations,
Advocating spiritual renewal
restoring WinWin revolutions
across every overt and pervert and divert system
in every sacred land?

When I was about twenty-four
I felt sufficiently redeemed
as a green gay prophet
of sensory revolutionary WinWin experience,
with some Win/Lose rapacious and tragic defeating compromises
with Truth
acidically associated WinWin kinships
with Earth’s diversely sheltering lights
and rhythmic patterns
of 4Dimensioned dynamic habitats
developed through cooperatively systemic relationships.

I lacked sufficient WinWin theory
to prophetically explain
how to cooperatively recapture such profoundly prescient passion
without psychotripic supports,
not physically sustainable–
yet another Win/Lose compromised dead-end.

Then there was my forty years
of vocational wilderness wanderings,
dark night of inside winter
outside desert walks,
inside confusion,
outside complaint
inside dissonance
to tolerate Win/Lose partially recycled monoculturing compromises
inhabiting LeftBrain deductive
Either good
Or bad
dominating dualist dueling AnthroTribe,

Not worshiping
or even listening to
natural/spiritual hybrids,
like lovely lilies in green gay meadow memories,
indigenous DNA enraptured
Right/LeftBrain Win/Win outside/inside
experience of polypathic rapture,
sacred enchantments.

When I was about 64
I began to understand
how miserable I would have been
as a Win/Lose advocate
of U.S. violently punishing elite entitlements
for an anthrocentric legal system
with no orthodox health v pathology insight,
little cooperative ecological hope,
bad mono-elitist inaccessible entitlement toward MisTrust
that once we enter God’s Great Patriarchal CourtRoom
anyone could possibly become integrally healed
for and by and of and with profoundly accessible
Win/Win experiential love
for Ego co-arising therapeutic Eco-justice
inside as outside habitat
of sainted green advocates.

Now I continue
as yet another Win/Win health non-officer
of Earth’s non-patriarchal CourtSystem,

Beloved Sacred Communities

Prisons fester further desecrating guilt by association
as churches
and synagogues
and temples
and mosques
foster sacred innocence through re-association,
communion of the wanna-be saints
and Bodhisattva suffering warriors
for EarthRights Peace and Justice.

When our faith communities
feel like monoculturing monotheistic prisons
of fundamentalism,
then our non-elite prisons
begin to sound more like gospel protests
against further guilt containment
through hypocritical disassociation
with the great unwashed sinners
and economic cheaters,
and politically competing liars,
and lack of polypathic lovers.

Ecology is about oikos,
home,
habitats of and for progress
noticed in two appositional directions;
progressive enrichment of nature-spirit systems
and regressive decomposition,
loss,
guilt,
failure,
heading toward death unless balance can be restored
to help our systems
become more cooperatively resilient,
from prison through cathedral
through capitols of nation-state investments.

If decomposing guilt
can grow through imprisoned associations
then no ecological surprise
that regenerative innocence of Bodhisattva Saints
can grow through polypathic
polyphonic
polycultural
poli-economically balancing
positive nature-spirit good faith communities.

If we removed more not-funda mentalistic bad faith
from GoodNews communities,
then perhaps we would become clearer
about how we each and all live love between guilt
and innocence,
associated with fellow prisoners
and hardy integrity of mutual trust investors.

Prophets of prison habitats
as our own defensive nation-states
grow in violence
and enslaving racism
and addictive sexism
are tragic comedians,
self-fulfilling and perpetuating
hate and fear futurists
predicting necessary further bad descending climates
of evil ecopolitical faith
and further Business As MightMakesRight Usual
guilt by disassociation from ecological wisdom.

Mentors of good faith communities,
polypathic and polycultural health outcome predictors,
investors,
are, sadly,
about as likely to be found on death row
as in the back row of kneelers and prayer rugs.

Our loss of faith in a resilient nature-spirit future
is also our gain in bad faith resolves

from impending climates of violence

God’s Utopian Church

I was listening to a Christian theologian friend of mine
speaking about the Messiah’s,
and St. Paul’s,
original intention when singing praises of God’s here/not-here Kingdom,
and potential as a multiculturally inclusive Church,
as a countercultural extending family,
creolizing out to encompass all human natures
to conjoin and rejoin Earth’s cooperatively-owned
and self-other governing GoldenRule thrivalist nature,
bountiful nature,
Beloved Cooperative Community global nature.

Which got me thinking
about the difference between totalitarian state ownership
of all cooperative enterprises,
devised by Stalin and Lenin and Mao Tse Tung
and whatever mess is still continuing in North Korea,
as compared to the cooperative network culture of the Basque Region
in Spain,
and perhaps elsewhere.

This difference between cooperative ownership
and communist ownership
is that cooperativist WinWin feedback loops
extend up from grassroot enterprises with authority
to govern the full range of their consumer-producer balance
within interdependent ecopolitical authorities;
whereas communist authority centralized autonomous ownership,
so all local cooperative enterprises,
including schools and hospitals and tractor factories,
were servants owned by the National Communist Mob,
which itself functioned less as a democratically self-governing,
collectively responsible party,
and more like a plutocratic private club
for internally disintegrating WinLose strategies,
more like dis-organizing crime
with military conscription powers
than a cooperative coordinating national team
of and for governing healthy consumer-producer co-ownership,

Which seems to be
more or less
what my theologian friend sees
when he looks at the early Christian post-Messianic extending out family
self-regeneratively creolizing
counterculturing church,
originally composed of those who rather too radically advocated
for most anything victimless,
and not holding preferences
for what today’s Christian fundamentalist understands
as traditional family values–
clearly not mentored
by the Messiah or by the single and celibate advocate St. Paul.

The way the Mondragon cooperative network
controls this tendency for money and power to become swept up
into the top of a central governing body
begins with local democratic self-governing ownership
and management of cooperative enterprises;
a cooperative guild structure.

I wonder what our educational system would become
if the State did not own the school system
but the parents and students and their paid staff
owned local educational environments,
some inside and some outside,
to learn how to cooperatively learn
our healthy wealth cost-effective lifestyles together,
as both consumers and producers,
each equilaterally associated as a cooperative education state department,
composed entirely of our rotating in and out cooperative member constituents.

I wonder what a cooperatively owned and managed health service would look like,
and feel like,
and whether we might find a richer therapeutic environment
of profoundly creolizing grassroots enrichment there,
among staff and other hurt and temporarily co-dependent patients
and our pets and extending family visitors,
surrounded by trees and frisky squirrels
and lettuce-addicted rabbits,
therapeutically growing out our family tree toward God’s cooperative household
of healthing cooperatives.

I wonder if educational cooperatives
would begin to sound more like health consumer-producer cooperatives,
and vice versa,
and if all this cooperative ownership,
and not anti-communal centralizing totalitarianism,
might feel a bit more like God’s ecotherapeutic Church.

and don’t even ask them to start thinking outside their god-given triage
about transgenderal nurturing opportunities
within Earth’s nondual co-arising Paradise.

How do we distinguish
between a healthy garden and a weed patch?
By nurtured nutritional outcomes,
positive yield,
inclusively diversifying so more robust profits,
growing healthy wealth creolizing potential,
including harvesting of seeds and bulbs
for our next even more cooperatively self-governing regeneration.

How do we distinguish
between a church or temple or synagogue
and a weed patch?
As above.

How do we distinguish
between playing with abundant time vocations
and indentured competing against time servitudes?
Same answer,
where seeds and bulbs
are cooperative,
organic,
unfold reverse-hierarchically, from within,
composed of and for multiculturing interdependent relationships
which we nutritionally enable together
as Earth’s Common Cooperative Church as Garden
producing positive nutritious yields
again,
for and of future faithful self-with-other
ego/eco balancing
regenerators,
doing our best to obtain a positive every-day
at-home
responsible yield for us, together
cooperatively-held, owned, governing,
nurturing and nutritious authorities.
