were available.

I suddenly have a lot of neighbors
who are way more cooperatively invested
in the win/win companionship
of their healthy non-mask wearing dogs
and cats
than they are in masked
or unmasked me.

  1. I was waiting
    at least six feet apart
    in the Goodwill line
    eighteen miles outside Colchester
    remembering a mom

And I’m remembering

Domestic Amusement

I find my entertainments close to home
as nothing could be more wildly hilarious
and downright curious
than my own complex teenagers
who sometimes speak
and do their math
about what adds up toward our shared
and independent
futures.

Then there are cacophonous birds
mourning doves and sparrows
blue jays and robins
yellow finches and ravens
greeting dawning light
as if some unprecedented miracle were unfolding
about which they will chatter and chirp amongst themselves
for many generations to come,
like climate marchers
just happy to be here
for this climaxing stellar event.

Then too I have neighbor watching and listening
which picks up more during afternoons,
after school buses drop off
wounded and yet still wondering kids,
with dogs and cats and even grandparents
to greet them,
while moms and dads slave away
at their own employer sponsored performances.

Meanwhile squirrels and chipmunks
scold and scamper
with playful engagement,
or playing at industry,
who could say
what undomesticated animals feel?

Worms burrow in the garden,
hopefully,
although I hate to interrupt them
solely for my frivolous fancies
regarding appropriate live entertainment.

They often respond, upon my thunderous devastation
of enlightening presence,
as if they were having some intimate dark night moment
that I have immodestly exposed to light.
I apologize,
recover,
and move on.

The bumble bees have posted flying sentries
around my front porch,
each flying in place all day long
tiny yellow and black helicopters
engaged in serious defensive intelligence gathering

Noting my scandalously erratic comings and goings,
importations and exportations,
exhortations,
and, even worse,
often sitting down on their porch’s swing,
rocking back and forth,
staring back
just as if I were not least bit intimidated
by threat of black and yellow drones.

Merely curious
about what’s so valuable inside
up under their roof
that they find me such a suspiciously alien threat.

But really,
for me,
these bumbling buzzing sentries are merely entertainment.

I especially love to watch
when they occasionally dive-bomb each other
for some inscrutable random whimsy.

Their placement may be a pageant
having nothing to do with my performance,
other than enjoyment
of their benign engagements
invested in this home we share.,
when we avoid claims
against immigrant infestments

While star gazing,
anticipating moon rise and fall,
wax and wane,
sailing behind diaphanous clouds

Growing Healthier Humanity

A significant line might be drawn
between long-term permaculture design
and agribusiness,
improved this year production
through better and more expansive chemistry,
soil and water and air and light pollution.

We might draw a parallel contrast
between inclusive Earth-nurturing politics
and elitist anthropocentrism

Between human unnatural dispirited purpose
and Earth-nature’s felt wealth
of healthy co-passionate meaning

Between divine cooperation
inducing continuous Yin-flow
belonging in joy
and human competition
deducing discontinuous Yang-strength
of longing to restore Earth Justice

Between cooperative stewardship
and anti-ecological autonomy of human nature’s
competitive capital-dominant rulership.

From a LeftBrain deductive dominant perspective
this line looks like Old School preservation,
of mutual antipathy.
Yet, from a cooperative Left-Right mindbody perspective
this same line
looks and feels
like a dipolar appositional space
for incubating heuristic co-empathic trust

For significant deep learning Both-And co-empathy,
rather than necessarily always and only Either-Or antipathy,
appositionally benign rather than always
and everywhere bipolar toxic

A nonviolently co-passionate practice
of egoMe/ecoWe
+1/-(-0) cobinary
peace-making perspective.

Just as Either-Us/Or-Them cognition
follows Win v Lose
not health-effective outcomes,
while Both-Us/And-Them follows Win+Win
bipartisan transactional resilience outcomes
for EarthGame Day and Night
compassionate Earth-wealth continuance.

So, suppose,
both UpperCaste and LowerCaste positions,
at the risk of oversimplifying a multiculturally caste situation

Republican nationalistic agri-vating business
merely an appositional uncreative distraction
from Democratic polyculture delighting designs
and multicultural power planning

For CoOperative Earth Ownership
and ReGenerative TransForming Governance,
still including some degenerative-decomposing functions,
yet without recreating a runaway waste stream
nor a runaway personal, family, community,
or national nutritional, financial, or health-assurance deficit.

and down-caste

Neglecting Top v Bottom Lines

I worry we co-invest in big private and public corporate assault
on Earth,
on environmentalism,
on longer-term ecologic
and ecotherapy.

Really, honey?
That’s too bad.
Why not also see long-term assault
as the unintended outcome of short-term neglect
to give cooperative win/win care,
health nurturing behavior,
Golden Rule empowering economics,
like we learned in Sunday School stewardship class?

Well, yes, I guess I can see that.
And yet, responsibility for dispassionate neglect
is not the accountability I seek
for assault on climate health

Multicultural landscapes of regenerative, rather than degenerative, potential,
slow-grown compassion fertility,
organically resilient,
full color octaves of strong-hued eloquence,
resonance for future Earth reweaving regenerators.

I wonder if it helps
to remember that assault derives from learned fear-mongering critical-event behavior,
while neglect speaks to more chronically anxious systems
of over-investment in short-term corporal and corporate ego-inflation,
rather than short-through-long-term
mental/physical
ego/eco
inside/outside
bicameral/bilateral
regenerative therapeutic balance?

Win+Win thriving regeneration
health-care targets
big ego-corporate’s Win v Lose survivalist degeneration.

I think you give sins of anthropocentrism too much evil conspiracy credit
and not enough human neglect
of long-term ecological reward anticipation credit.
When positive growth
is measured only in producing accumulation of human wealth
for investors, taxpayers and shareholders,
without any thought to quantities of resources consumed
in exchange for this production,
this feeds further disvaluing neglect
of investment in caregiving and receiving
long-term consuming and producing
cooperative win/win woke up fullness.

You are reminding me
of all the corporations I have ever known
with four-generation Mission Statements
about their corporate Original Intent,
yet, at best, four-quarter profit-making projections,
positive budgetary outcome
wish lists.

And then, too,
we have the four-generation campaign promises
derived from public corporate officials’ ReGenerative Constitutional Intent,
yet, at best, a 6-year re-election cycle,
and more likely 4-year,
or even just 2.

Yes, we do seem to have a degenerative tension
between the post-revolutionary Constitution’s Original Intent
to keep this democratizing revolution going,
for cooperating with the healthy wealth of Earth
and our nation-state neighbors,
as diplomatically and economically possible,
and within our own multiculturing liberties and justices,
peaceful compassions and pleasures
re-acclimating
anticipation of bountiful peace
into diminished restraining tolerance
of un-ecological risk denial

Traumatizing dissociations
organic life-systems could never nutritionally celebrate,
tearing families from their homes,
children from their terrorizing/terrorized parents,
young adults from their malnourished
self-medicating
Defense Business As Competitively Usual

In neighborhoods
of not so neighborly
systemic trauma environments.

Democratizing embodied Constitutions
co-arise economic health
and political wealth

A healthcare ethos
human history could not engage,
much less sustain,
without the compassionately pleasing Other

Where sacred EarthTribe co-investment
in expansive democratization,
mental/physical healthcare maturation,
mutual acclimation,
creolization of Elite with NonElite co-passion

Are drawn with loops and poignant pointing dots
of periods and episodic commas

Deriving objectives for Earth’s co-arising health
and fertile wealthy prosperity

Rich iconic compost
for producing cooperative economic climates,
health empowering landscapes
less likely to neglect ecological values
