Imagine you
and I
are rightbrain impressed
with each Other
as also integrally
spiritually shared emoting parts
of One noetically graced BicameralHeart
together,
pumping in and out,

nutritional lifeblood.

Suddenly, or was it gradually?
we become aware,

“I have lost my leftbrain objective
to share with you
something I had just felt passionately about
and I so hoped you would too”
If we could only cooperatively explain it just right,

way.

at this impasse
in our verbal communication,

Difficult Discernment

We were discussing a line
between reasonable compromise
and unconscionable denial
in this time of rapidly escalating fragmentation

When I thought I heard a raw spot
deepened and widened by dissonant history
of disagreement,
antagonistic feelings about noetic consciousness
of past pathological
bad climate events.

Yet
when I ask how you feel
about how we are responding to your position,
story,
exposition,
entrenched in anxious missed communication opportunities
to share your own excitement,
You respond by blaming yourself
for not making your experience clear
quickly enough
given our limited time for co-invested commitment.

Is that your raw spot?
Our limited consciousness
about raw and bleeding climates of mortal turmoil
metaphysically remembered
through past regenerations/degenerations of limited time,
inevitable demise of relationship
currently valued by investment felt
in a more win/win
than win/lose history of personal communication,
communion,
mutually compassionate understanding
feelings of safe yet free dialogue
between appreciative teachers
who are first curious and compassionate listeners,

Listeners to now,
co-presence of ancient raw and therapeutic places
for terror and nurture,
for replanting and reharvesting,
for teaching and listening,
for articulating painful memory
and reflecting on therapeutic future response,
for win/lose plots within win/win commitment spots,
for curious thoughts
and feelings of emergent integrity,

Chapter 1: Deneen’s Failed Liberalism (Revised Version)

Developing progressivism
within liberalism
further iterates pervasive presentism
of win/win
past through future multiculturalism,

A healing timelessness,
progressivism grounds deep attachment
toward our most sensory-nutritional past,

Particularly radically cooperative customs
and multiculturally bilateral geocentric traditions.

While widely understood to be future-oriented,
climate healthy progress rests on simultaneous assumptions
that healthy resolutions must be synergetically liberated
from past win/lose short-term answers,

And our win/win future
will have as much ecotherapeutic regard
for our culture of health
as we have for our ecofeminist understoried past.

The future is an unknown space,
and those who live in climate pathology
now arrayed in fulfilling patriarchal hostility
to MotherEarth-wombed past primal experience
must acquire detachment toward,
and a toxic win/lose simplistic faith in,
an unknowable commodified and shrinking future wealth.

Those whose view of Earth
is guided by such cynical belief
implicitly understand that our “achievements”
are designed for the dustbin
of lose/lose dis-climating history,

Given that our wounded future
regards us as win/lose stubborn today
and necessarily excommunicated
from resilient promise

Every generation must live
to polyculture ourselves
with past through present consciousness.

Capitalism makes humanity into consumers of Earth,
and unsurprisingly,
its culmination has led each generation
to accumulate scandalous levels of debt
to be left for its under-productive children,

While rapacious exploitation of Earth’s win/win integral resources
continues in the anti-eco/theological fundamentalist belief
that future monoculturing generations
will devise a Rapture fly away way
to not deal with Earth’s depletions.

Earth’s repletion
is exactly what happened to me one day
when I saw myself reflected in the Gaian faces
of those around me on the street
of my hometown.

In this timeless moment,
I recognize I am tied to them
in ways that go beyond previous egocentric understanding
of here/now interrelatedness.

I am not only connected
through some historic thread of life,
but share every multi-sensory health/pathology felt climate experience
with them
in every emotion-noticing way.

This causes me to wonder–
what if we really are all one
healthy/unhealthy natural nest,

Not just in a metaphysically interdependent sense,
but theologically and literally one living sacred being
co-passioning climate experiential sensory-neural life
simultaneously in multiple languaged/unlanguaged forms.

If this were true,
then I am complexly encountering ourself
repeatedly in the faces of ego/eco-therapeutic/toxic people
I meet on every street
throughout all past through future time.

As I begin contemplating that possibility,
another question begins to arise for me.

If am am win/win repeatedly meeting ourself
on polypaths of communication,
how do I show up
in this shared win/win well-met future?

Chapter 3: Johnson’s Tight Attachment Hold (Implied Version)

We pinpoint this showing up healthy time
in our current interrelationship
when we suddenly throw off climate imbalance,
when a small win/lose industrious response
or lack of compassionate response
suddenly seems to change our sense of health and safety
with our polypathic lovers,

When we become caught up
in ego-reacting
in a win/lose way,
We know we are tied into
an industrious win/lose evolutionary Capitalism Dialogue.

Maybe we are also aware
of a revolutionary moment
when we find ourselves reacting very angrily
and with terror

As we go beneath this health/pathology surface
reacting to our deeper historically felt emotions
and unpack, raw through sweet,
this integral moment of toxic climate collapse,

She intended to teach history
of philosophy,
but no history-buffed
economic or political listening philosophers signed on.

So, s/he decided to try
an empowerment class on ecological
and historical interrelationships
as found in systematic multicultural theology,
but no polycultural theologians
with divine win/win synergetic communication experience
came to actively listen
to and for each sacred Others’ feeling
thoughts.

So, s/he offered a space
for polypathically cooperative economists
to speak ecosystemically
among our nutritional health-networking selves,
as both teachers and listeners,
speakers and readers,
but too late–
All her potential consumer/producers
were busily writing
and marketing their own autonomously competing passions
and dispassions,
posting multi-sensory courageous
and curious selfies.

to facilitate sharing and telling
compassionate historical creation stories
of ecological
theologically multicultural
mutually cooperative WholeEarth-gaming communication

And that was the last robust ecopolitical co-investment
and first we’ve heard

When I was a male child
I prayed to an eternally mute dualdark goddess,
Gaia was our name
for each Other’s
secular
sane
sacred
sacraments to share passion.

And so I heard bird songs
praising each day’s anticipated Gaian glory,
everybody playing cooperatively nice,
or at least role playing
something less than bipartisan uncivil shame
and blame war,
laborious and hate-filled work.

When I was a child
hearing
and sometimes speaking
birdsong,
I listened for companionship.

As an adolescent,
I heard more like marketing
win/lose sensory messages
praising past
and pleading for more future
climaxes of sensory overload,
peak experiences,
zero-zone pleasures
I Am Thou
I Am That You Are

Identity Here is also individuating Now
in this singing space
bilaterally in-between wave-linear unfolding Time
in Light’s full-polyphonic resilience,
a perpetual mind-rechanging recharging communion
worthy of Earth’s praising bird song.

As a younger adult
I hear birdsongs less,
but when I do hear doves
and pigeons, they sound less of praise,
more of mourning and cooing concern,
worried about the silent witness of pelicans
and herons
listening for climates of despair degenerating
outside voices
and inside absence
of praise-worthy birdsong,
traditionally safe
and yet free-flight loving.

What do you need right now?

I feel like I would enjoy a long retreat
from human voices,
a free to reverse
get out of jail vacation
from inside voices,
especially my own.

Who would keep you entertained?
Who would you listen to
with affection,
passion,
curiosity,
interest,
engagement,
immersion,
amusement,
without hearing human voices,
including your own?

Maybe I would learn to speak in squirrel scold
and nutty chatter,
in buzzing bee,
whining predative mosquito searching,
warning rattler,
purring and hissing cat,
stoned silly river sibilant
sad satiated sensory sunset
moon rise advent of enlightening mystery
surf breathing ocean, inhaling and slow shushing out
demented and delighted dreamscapes,
hawk warnings
mourning dove reassurances
Earth’s undisputing stillness
still partially well

Blessing silly ravens
cawing out for each other,
“Here we brazenly are, together;”
never having heard of blackbird pie,
unthinkably naive,
unspeakable joy of togathering flight
