Ego’s Monstrous Petition

Eco had offered an operational contract
of love and synergy,
awaiting ego’s response each day,
each moment,
eager to optimize these CQI operations of karmic grace.

Over a wilting lifetime
ego implied his petitioning response:

I grow increasingly excited,
stimulated,
by this co-petitioning challenge
to frame our dissonance,
our operational riddles and puzzles,
games and logistics and strategies,
and statistical decomposition
of the odds for sustaining life,
as the perfection of hatred and fear
of death’s dissonant decay.

I petition Earth’s right to positive resolution and resonance,
as implied co-solutions and consonance
of ego with eco
to play, create, and vocation nicely together,
and this co-petition fully exercises my right of conscience,
to re-search competition for absolute freedom of independence.

This co-petition asserts our human natural guild’s lively preference
for contention over contentment,
for longing rather than belonging
for uni-lateral freedom rather than ecollateral interdependence.

Eco absorbed this richly contentious compost,
this dissembling over co-operative rights of assembly
and competition challenging cooperation’s eco-creation
as inclusively diverse recreation,
divisive of ego’s omnipotent present place in space
from eco’s multisystemic functions within time’s good seasons.

Time unfolded an eco-systemic co-tractive gift,
born of Her binomial grace,
an eco-response to mutually co-tribute with ego
gratitude for bi-cameral mutuality
and full freedom of co-scientific consciousness,
to bilaterally participate in time’s eternal moment
of ego- with eco-centric life.

Love’s Occupier Manifesto

It is love, not loss, we expect,
we long for and belong with,
we seek between our brothers and our sisters,
a cooperative economic network
rather than a competitive gain-over-loss
capital-rooted value system.

Love evolves more resonantly
and nutritiously,
than fear
and hatred
and apathy
and dissonance,
yet we have planted our economy in competition,
in Win v. Lose evolutionary assumptions,
while losing is not a way to know and grow love
rather than loss,
an economy with successful outcomes
rather than a global ecology with catastrophic outcomes.

We respond to globally competitive nightmares
with locally cooperative beds we invest in,
make,
occupy,
and sleep in, together.

We grow adept permaculturally cooperative economics
and lifestyles
to spend more time developing love in local beds
and less time making war on others’ cultures.

Win-to-Lose commands aiming ballistics at others’ homes
evokes global impeachment
immediate removal of all administrative authority
save that remaining while shunned
within arrested home and garden.

Directives to violently destroy and kill
is self ex-communication,
enforced by omnipresently equivalent maintenance of
cooperative economics and governance,
revolutionary regenerative DNA.

A “free” market
cannot become possessed through monopolistic investments
in marketing;
that is an “enslavement” market
for marketing’s exploitive sake,
rather than for goodness sake.

Highest consumer values
cannot efficiently evolve and sustain life
through a lowest production cost denominator.
Producers are also consumers
are also reproducers
are also reconsumers
in a Win-Win Balancing Game Theory of economics.

Redemption economics,
like permaculture design,
unlike Business-As-Usual presumptions,
invests intentional,
logistical,
systematic notice of “lost” debris in our lives,
dissonance and disease and loss,
and insanity and unnecessary risks
to move inclusive well-loved polycultural outcomes
into the next season of planning,
the next year,
the next regenerative opportunity
to improve our egos
and other eco-positive optimization outcomes,
reducing global loss and risk and dispossession
and more interim competitive dispositions.

We plan to redeem our dispossessions over life-sustaining time,

Better Community Design

Dr. Owl addressed his Community Developer pupils
of “Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Standards
for Home and Garden Design”;
which seemed rather heavy for his prime time of night.

Cooperatively sustained growth and development,
whether humanly designed or not,
is the “climax” or optimal CQI mission of PermaCulture Design (PCD).

Cooperative community development
and PCD share a cooperative-oriented systems paradigm
an arena for positive intervention.
Home and community and life development
also share with PCD
positive outcome indicators
which, when they actually show up,
define a community of sustainable well-being.

These four primary balancing functions of PCD:
consuming and producing
decomposition and regeneration
are also true of community development.

Howsomeversomuchwisdom,
economic development uses producer and consumer language
for developing multisectoral transactions.
Meanwhilecorrelativelycoincidental,
community organizers and policy analysts
speak of culturally regenerative values,
on their more effective days,
and of decomposing
fuel
flow
function
and frequency streams of social systems and networks.
and, more recently, binary information systems as well.

A largely untapped strength of PCD
is its active faith that weeds
and other negative environmental hazards,

like barbed-wire fences that you can’t see at night
and never know when you might fly into them,
and then, that’s that,

other unplanned outcomes,
mysteriously emerge as our most vitally underused
and dispossessed
resources,
even if only as teachers
of what mess to avoid in the future.

For example,
Dr. Eisler describes a darkly dominant macroeconomy
as too competitive and divisive,
rooted in evolutionary cultural assumptions
that we live in a Win-Lose world,
and God did not create any “losers.”
If this might accurately describe our Business As Usual
day
and life
and economy
and thinking about progress
and employment
and my messy beleaguered home life,
and all those struggles just to be heard,
and the nightmares pushing out night flights,
then we should call on a permacultural developer.

A permaculturist might remember
failing economies therapeutically respond
to more cooperatively interdependent financial
and employment
and residential
and landscaped
systems,
rooted in PCD’s standard “sit-spot” position,
that we steadfastly continue to live
within our Win-Win interdependent opportunity
for further evolution.

Frustrated Business As Usual developers
are learning to step into our mutually subsidiary yuck,
with the rest of us
and our planet
and this universe of information,
reweaving a new cooperative eco-normics
as eco-logic for Win-Win climaxing destiny
of PermaCulturing Time
through smooth flight PolyCulturing Space,

functioning and forming, creating and cultivating, regenerate language,
an expression of intuited deduction,
refinement toward exegetically known and felt soul-truth
through eisegetical analogy

economy of linguistic order, transactions, relationships,
principles of languaged left-brained human nature
dancing prancing functional flow and forms
through right-brained proportional memory encryption
regeneratively intuited octave polycultured memory,
dream-dancing DNA, team-mentoring within each of life’s cells.

What evolves and seeds
plants and pulls
harvests and winnows language,
forms and functions flowing fine flowering frequencies of thought,
understanding and learning?
What comprehends and mentors holistic orthopraxis,
ecotherapy and healing, within and without,
rational and polypathic sanity?

This optimally sustaining

than competing partisan pedantry;
which may not be saying much for poets.

Transliterating Laotse on “Rulers”:
Of the best public administrators
The people only have faith,
prehend, that they exist,
or did way back in the day;
The next best they love and praise:
the comprehensively wise polypaths
with CQI regenerative well-being outcomes.
The abusive and tyrannical next they fear;
powerful fools.
And the neglectful next they revile and ridicule;
weak and humorless fools.

When poets do not command the people’s faith,

But, of the best,

Tao’s Coincidental Teleology

Co-incidence is binomial, bionic, binary, double-bound information, energetically measured in protons and neutrons and their quantificationic prime relationship.

Dissonance, cognitive dissonance included, is what happens when coincidention does not, is not perceived.

Time’s coincidention is equivalent to space’s content-ionic form. Functional forms of solidarity balance contentious self-strengthening within cooperative contentment of inclusive self-identity.

Permacultural dynamic shamanic (and early Taoist) comprehension of natural systemic evolution as tipping points, species, faces, spaces, forms, nomials, functional flow and force patterns, paradigms and procedures, policies and identities, language and linguistics, communities and communication strings, rhetorical events and fields are coincidental integrity of each moment’s timeless potential for diastatic balance.

In Permaculture Design and Development, we call these diastolically balancing tipping-point statuses Climax Communities; mature polycultural networks of coincidental and mutually-defining information. These tend toward inclusive regeneration of diverse nutrient cooperative economies.

Cooperative economic intent is also coincidental (dialectical) ecological therapeutic orthopraxis.

Climax Communities optimize cooperation by minimizing competitive, win-lose strategic intent, loss, suffering, dissonance, and disease, both physical and metaphysical-mental-cognitive prehension of systemic function-mentors.

Basic multisystemic attendance (what Buddhists understand as a root system toward incarnation’s compassion-mind flower) to Yang’s ego-intentions and Yin’s eco-reiterative purposes, virtues, values, purgative concave balancing praxis is Tao, ecologos, wise economics.

Unwise economic principles, policies, practices, systems, tend to produce monocultural, monopolistic, “weedy” dissonating  global outcomes.

Just as Yang and Yin physical functions follow ubiquitously coincidental (dialectical, bionic) temporal flow-functions, so too Yin is endomorphically double-negative smooth-structuring ionic temporal encoding functional, resolving RNA/DNA fractal memory structure.

Yang discovers eisegetically-held Exterior Landscape information as Yin uncovers exegetical Interior Landscape resonant functions of rhythm and frequency, flow and tipping point force/fold patterns.

Yang is left-hemisphere linguistic/languaged deductive dominant while Yin is right-hemisphere proportional-temporal-relational-affective-intuitive dominant.

Yin is to enculturing original intent as Yang is to coincidental karmic incarnation, an evolving resolution string theory confluent with Fuller’s Universal Intelligence as diastolically predicting  speciated multisystemic reorientation toward universal life’s eternity; a permacultural panentheism of EarthTribe regenesis.

Yin’s double-negative neutronic-concaving zeroism actively harmonizes equivalent reverse temporal-neural frequencies, inviting Yang’s proton-bionic, karmic-ionic convexing incarnation.

There is only coincidental integrity,

space and time’s incarnating potential

inviting

resolving

regenerating multisystemic polyculturing networks

toward more contentment,

Form is content,

well-formed families and communities

avoid dysfunctional content

to grasp when aversion overcompensates,

when avoiding karma’s grasp

Tao of Strategic Challenges

There is the maxim of military strategists;

I dare not be the first to invade, but rather be the invaded.

Dare not press forward an inch, but rather retreat a foot.

That is, to march without formations,

To roll not up the sleeves,…

There is no greater catastrophe than to underestimate the enemy

(Laotse, #69)

 The word military does not fit with Laotse’s overall intent to talk about dispute resolution. Clearly he sites territorial and proprietary issues, so maybe this is a “maxim of ownership strategists,” which would include defensive and offensive strategies to maintain and re-establish natural balance.

Not being the first to invade goes back to a wu wei principle of mutually cooperative subsidiarity as an ecological systemic norm. Think and act like an eco-cell within a healthy organism; not a cancerous ego-center. To invade is to challenge existing ego/eco value balance. To be the invaded might more fully translate as “become empathetically focused on the challenger’s perspective, values, positions—try to find them within yourself until they have resonance.” Maybe try some reverse role play, like preparing for a debate team.

 “Dare not press forward an inch” means do not even appear to react with ego-resistance. Ask for nothing that might lead to ecological imbalance, “but rather retreat” might look like inviting your challenger to agree with you to an equitable Win-Win resolution, defined as no one allows the other to walk away while feeling they have just lost a positive opportunity to incarnate wisdom.

 “March without formations” may have some reference to Laotse’s primary attraction to natural flow functions. Solid forms lack the flexible flow functionality for evolutionary economic change that one might find in a river, or even a tornado, if you have something more revolutionary in mind.

The title of this poem, Camouflage, is what a Buddhist might think of as Basic Attendance, which has a mutual gratitude understory, or gestalt, understanding each moment as having positive opportunity potential. Basic Attendance, in oppositional and other forms of dissonant, wild, crazy environments, begins with exposing our vulnerability, our fluidity, our confluent intention, a disciplined humility of balanced ego/ecological consciousness.

 “To roll not up the sleeves” reminds us to never show our fist even to our own internal need for self-passion. Laotse mentors non-violent multisystemic communication praxis; most certainly not aggression. He explores the paradoxical orthopraxis of breathing in comprehensive natural-systemic information and breathing out toward our mutually cooperative future.

“Enemy” is just wrong here. Enemies are created through lack of wise response. The word here should be challenger. In Permaculture Design we confront many challenges to optimizing Continuous Quality Improvement, ecologically balanced polycultures that show promise for sustaining regenerative life cycles. The only strong candidate for enemy status might be time, but the seasons and scales of development and design approach permacultural standards with humane ecocentric humility and reverence for the progenitive sacredness of time’s nutritionally absorbent dimensions.

Ecological Economics

Buckminster Fuller and Laotse share a primordial concern with our economic well-being. Just as our economies are our value transactions, our governance, of self and others, is our ordering of values, which may be either positive and confluent, bringing contentment and just peace, or negative and dissonant, bringing entropy, decay, and cognitive dissonance.

The economies of natural systems, including humane natural systems, follow an explicated Yang-convex-Positive AND gravitationally implied Yin-concave-Negative ecological principle of balance. This is not so much a static place of stasis; more of a dynamic spacetime of diastatic mutual enculturation. Evolution unfolds a generative economy of Positive YangPolynomial and Negative No-Longer-and-Not-Yet YinPolynomial balancing mutual prehension. Economic disvalues are counter-evolutionary, irrational, and dissonant. Natural systemic values enjoy prime relationship ecologic between physical gravity and metaphysical gratitude, between our body’s intuitive sense of balance, correctness, rightness, and our mind’s sense of balance, correctness, rightness, truth, equity, beauty, goodness, and logically optimizing value.

Where Fuller and Laotse differ is in their contrasting historical relationship to the Industrial Revolution. Laotse would not have recognized a distinction between ecological value and economic value. His wisdom roots back toward a shamanic sensory baptism in the flow and force and function of natural waters and winds and seasons and light and dark voices. Logic was ecologic and analogically cognized and incarnated. A fully optimized economic life is a life lived in contented harmony with Earth’s natural systems, including mutually subsidiary relations within the family and community.

Fuller, on the other hand, has a more prophetic mission, to reconnect economies of optimized design and regeneration with natural logic discerned through observing biometrics, and analyzing their implied geometrics of natural system development. Fuller also had a post-Darwinian arsenal of symbiotic relationships to draw from. While Laotse has at least been interpreted to dwell on predator v. prey competitive natural economies, Fuller’s enculturation permits keeping this competitive assumption in play with cooperative host-parasite relationships. The relationships of primal and primary and prime interest to Fuller are Earth as host and humans as parasites, and perhaps body-physical information as natural host and mind-metaphysical universe as analogically and ecologically derivative of natural energy, metric development, and oppositional balance. Not so much consciousness as parasitical but nature’s intelligent comprehension as ectosymbiotic design.

Fuller wanted to prove global nutrient sufficiency to move away from a competitive economic culture of predator v. prey, in a world assumed to struggle without inclusive bounty. Since the 1970s, according to his analysis, there have been no ecological barriers to moving away from Win-Lose competitive economic assumptions, in favor of more sustainable, peaceful, and mutually grateful Win-Win cooperation; an emergent post-millennial ecological foundation for our species’ inclusive  and life-sustaining economic regeneration.

As our cells have learned a cooperatively supplemental subsidiarity within their mutually parasitic economy, so too human egos can learn a cooperative mutually subsidizing ecologic for sustaining life and more regenerative economic trends for Earth’s evolving ground of all being. Fuller and Laotse both frame a natural systemic positive teleology, systemic understanding of ecological meaning and purpose, without invoking a systematic theology. God becomes Universal Ecological Intelligence discovered through observing the flow and function of natural form, the evolution and devolution of information.
