Perhaps infertile
incomplete
unwashed memories
of elder v younger,
Goliath v David,
crusades v communion
critical, yet part of chronic, events
speak extended family disengagement truth
to powerful dirty laundry engagement failures.
That disclaimer said,
I have two incomplete conversations
in mind and heart
and what I hope I will eventually learn
from mistakes in anemic compassion
too thin for nobler listening opportunities.
When I was sixteen,
I courageously confronted my dad
about his white supremacist beliefs,
which would not endorse slavery
but were oppressively too comfortable
with White nationalism
and patriarchal white-washed privileged capitalism
Win/Lose meritocracy theology,
teleology,
evolutionary ethology,
God’s chosen evidence of Black and Brown unfortunate
lack of pure enough LeftBrain intelligence
to successfully care for their own intellectual
and physical
property/properties God given
but in a more niggardly way.
After all, if they were as full of divine grace as we are
then they never would have become forced migrant fieldhands
and robotic domestic servants
before we had robotic domestic servants,
properly satisfied with a basic shack,
self-grown food,
cotton-picking and sugar-caning uniforms,
Rented and unrented servants capable of learning
yet not relentlessly driven by passion
for deeper democratic health interdependent webs of life
empowered each day by dense political understanding,
robust economic awareness of who has power to sell
and who has insufficient power to redeem
what could never be naturally-spiritually commodified
without severely wounded ego-disintegrity,
social madness,
political fury.
When I asked my dad,
Why are you so sure people of color,
especially women,
are so intellectually and emotionally and and mentally inferior to you,
the WhiteMan
living in an all white rural community
and all white nationalist church
fully invested in a white
plutocratic
military-industriously colonizing
authoritarian mess?
And an all white school system
and all white county government
all your life?
He could not point to any experience
of his own white superiority
But he could pull out a Reader’s Digest article
regarding research on standardized LeftBrain tests
with unstated lexicon
and linguistic norms
of dialectally empowered WhiteEnglish DominantSpeak.
My WiseElder dad told me to read it
and get back to his more seniority self
if I had any further naive questions.
That was the end of that conversation.
Question asked
and self-declared orthodox textual reference answered.
A year ago
I asked my White nationalist evangelical older brother
if he would vote for D Trumpian again,
and, if so, why?
Given his Christian God of love
and his GoodNews evangelistic vocation
to bring universal peace
and uniting divine justice to all people
everywhere,
now and in rapturous kingdom at near ill-defined hand
of future Heaven
for all eternity,
red and yellow,
black and white,
they are precious
in His sight.
My brother responded,
While troubled by Trumpian narcissism,
and maybe over-wrought cynicism,
Trump’s anti-immigrant
anti-Islam sectarianism
are a good faith fit
for God scripturally written to be pissed off
about pagan idolatrous hedonists
and uppity women
and lying stealing greedy children
and people too stupid to get it
that God has been strategically designed
in a RightWing dominant WhiteMan’s ancient
fascist
apartheid image
of spiritualized
denatured seclusion.
Well, OK,
he explicitly said just the first part,
about keeping out the threatening anti-Christian,
pro-liberal ecofeminist choice,
anti-family values foreigners,
All for building an impermeable moat
around a White privileged patriarchal “Christian” nation
on an awesome well-lit hill,
originally intended to be democratically enfranchised
only for White male property-owners,
possibly including Black and Native American slave property,
But only White property-owners have historically correct autonomous rights
to carry automatic military rifles
and drive gas and oil-hog Hummers to an all-White church
in substantially Black and Brown Flint, Michigan.
When I asked him why keeping Muslims,
and perhaps other Black
and suspiciously Spanish-speaking Brown people out,
was more important to his Christian beliefs
than keeping democratic family health care in
and USA climate therapeutic care
at the top of our global investment budget,
even higher than our ballistic automated threat budget
designed to blow up people
and plants
and planet,
He said he had no interest in that conversation.
The only important conversation for us,
from his fundamental dogma-centered power position,
was how much of the King James Holy Bible
I have properly memorized and adopted,
not adapted,
and invited into my personal everyday relationship with Jesus.
The political Jesus,
unmarried Messiah
and Teacher of following GoodNews Truth
into universal interdependent compassion,
most accessible to a child, wounded and poor in spirit,
when Win/Win Truth invites GoldenRule conflict
between elders and siblings
about signs of extended family integrity
and wonders of divinely humane non-walled communion,
non-apartheid community,
non-violent communication…
Again, I digress
from explicit historical conversations
about experiential evidence for White nationalist privilege
on into internal implications for WinWin empowering communion
where I can sometimes Left with Right childlike balance,
still finding and grasping onto
universally inviting unitarian
co-operative laundry cleaning compassion.
He’s been struggling with depression,
She said, so then have I.
It’s our bad news
that competing depressions
breed more contagiously
than our cooperative feeding happiness.
Yet our good news grows:
Depression and positive impression
are equally contagious passions
pastimes
eruptions into changing flowstreams of consciousness,
evolving conscientiousness,
naked intention,
interdependent awareness,
enchantment and disenchanting stories,
natural causes spiriting effects causing co-acclimating affects,
positive and negative passions,
pressures,
impressions,
compression.
I’ve been struggling against his self-repression,
she said,
so then he worries about his oppressive powers
financial and political and emotional,
physical and mental.
He doesn’t hit me
or any sentient being
but scares me when he hits
and manhandles against his phone,
kicks against his car,
strikes against his walls and doors and windows,
his property he most interdependently cares about,
relies upon.
This chronic environment of fear,
seeing his violent anger
causes our climate anxiety
and a lack of safely transparent expression,
chronic non-vulnerable repression.
The difference between my suppressed fear feelings
of repression
and his depressed anger feelings,
threatening to disinvest oppression
despite his great attraction to Us,
is a real-talk difference
only if we both know
we are each free to affordably leave,
cut our future health-opportunity losses,
without threat of violent and impoverishing repercussions.
While a free Get Out Of Jail card
and a blinking Safe Exit sign
over our back doors
and front doors
and aside windows
are not much for sharing journeys toward active compassion,
co-operative wonder,
interactive awe,
mutual health and happiness,
prosperous food for mental fitness,
Yet neither is flood insurance
a sign of bad faith in safe and dry land
mutually affordable re-assurance.
Oppression
is aggressive repression
without freedom to exit
And ego repression
is eco-systemic depression
without mutual freedom to catch and re-catch compassion
with and for each faithful interdependent Other,
sentient and sensed as a safe alliance
for absorbing resonance
And practicing mutual reliance,
practicing re-alliance,
practicing integrity of positive contagious co-passions.
Negative depressions stem from lonely longing
origins internal and external,
As positive impressions
grow from practiced compassion,
Solidarity belonging and bred
within eco-cooperative fed
root nutritional systems,
Fitness energy for actively appreciating
each wounded and wounding Other,
including hims
and hers,
transparently discussing fist-vulnerable hands
and heads,
and stomping, kicking feet,
and bad-news phones
and unreliable cars
and imprisoning homes
and patriarchal supremacists
As if all lives
and interdependent relationships
mattered
for continuing depressive competitions
and for altering impressive cooperations.
In Beyond Religion
the Dalai Lama offers non-sectarian roots of compassion
to motivate global cooperative behaviors
and inner mentally nurturing health values.
He begins with the assumption
his readers are asking,
How and Who are we
to become more compassionate,
kinder,
more forgiving,
more health v pathology discerning?
Not just in our root passionate intent
but in our actual co-invested behavior.
We already respond to such questions
by educating our health/wealth nondualistic hearts.
We already work to restrain negative behaviors
with anger and fear mindful
non-mongering
anti-competitive nonself-marketing management.
We already combat and absorb,
acclimate and cooperatively sublimate
destructive emotional impoverishing tendencies.
We already aspire to cultivate ego-health values,
passion,
patience,
contentment,
self-forgiveness for past and future woundedness,
peaceful sufficiency of time and well-being,
left and right bicameral discipline toward mutually transparent confluence,
and co-operative eco-political generosity, paid forward
from one DNA-inspired wealth generation
to those healthy co-arising next.
Such practice,
everyday practice,
awareness practices require no special equipment,
no sectarian religious beliefs,
no lack of pro-active commitment to cooperatively vulnerable compassion.
Our global and local vocations,
across vast seas
and on our own thresholds,
to live ethically unitarian, egalitarian
integrally
harmoniously Earth patriotic
resiliently
resonantly
regeneratively with and for all sentient and sensed Others,
with a wealthier GoldenRule sense of health becoming,
is already co-passionately practiced
practiced
practiced independently of any sectarian nature v spirit dualistic intelligence.
Deep natural health and wide spiritual pan-sectarian wealth
educating our cooperatively owned and managed DNA
infused and still faithfully pumping Elder RightBrain

This historical association includes integral global prosperity

Health, like wealth,
can be measured in quantities compared across time,
sometimes trending bigger and more robust
and sometimes sadly smaller and more stagnant,
But, health, as wealth, also feels warm flowing
in effluent rivers and root nutritional systemic qualities
of multilateral WinWin positive compassion,
tossed back and forth in everyday discourse,
through LoseLose negative ego-mania
echoing cognitive silos of dissonance.
Personal health, like wealth,
prosperity of happiness and warm nests,
can be thought about as short-term
sufficiency for each moment composing one lifetime,
Or more long-term confluence,
multi-regenerational,
mother’s warm womb to daughter to grandmother’s womb,
back and forth through time
remembered and projected healthy wealth
into our co-passioned nutritional future.
Global democratic health,
like self-governing compassionate wealth,
can be measured in cooperative quantities of lifespans
and consumer market potential
compared to productive efficiency
measured against cost of labor
and materials
and energy consumed/produced,
and pollution
and waste,

Earth’s health, like wealth,
can become more synergetically understood

dispassionately apathetic toward healthy quantities

If my behaviors,
for ill or good,
are embedded in my belief system,
recognized by internally articulating our apparently shared faith
in social sanctuary structures,
habitats,
safe co-operative homes,
Then my actions feed all my psychological
and economic
and political
and educational
and ecologically imagined co-relationships,
Whether I believe good ecosystemic compassion
is more vital
efficacious
powerful
transparent
vulnerable
than smaller
isolated
autonomous
hidden egocentric narcissism,
or not.
Whether we are logic nurtured children
of positive natural outside faith,
or egospirit neglected negative faithless anti-compassion narcissistic subjects
of our own internal jealous angry GodVoices
speaking Negative SuperEgo words
of denatured depression and dispiriting doom.
Even toxic Creators of forbidding deforesting climates
preferentially prefer behaviors
of and for a more robust personal and social health Vocation.
If behaviors,
for health or pathology,
are embedded in natural exterior experience histories,
then actions feed all polypathic paradigms
for learning compassionate spiritual beliefs
in non-sectarian health vocations
swimming in temporal streams of divine nutrition
nurturing humane natural beliefs
widely teaching
deep learning resilient behavioral missions
for sustaining EarthTribe climate life,
healthy beliefs inside as wealthy behaviors outside.
An adolescent of the 60s,
now nearly sixty years later,
I still at least half trust
thirty and under agree
If you and I
are not part of our cooperative solution,
then we are part of Earth’s competing subclimate problem,
pattern,
economic ecological policy,
political bicameral procedure…
In fact,
or so I subjectively feel
is objectively pointed fact,
I could agree
this is precisely
an important half-balancing truth,
Because
if we are part of Earth’s cooperative health intent,

Educational Competitions:
“You/We are not motivated to learn
how to take care of yourself/ourselves.”
And,
We are, together, motivated to learn
how to give and receive
personal and social,
political and economic,
theological and ecological health care,
universally intended,
unitarian motivated and discerned.
Competition for resources:
“We can’t change because we are too poor,
have too little health to thrive,
too few nutritional, nurturing resources.”
And,
Together, with explicit therapeutic intent,
we are change,
we are healthy resources
sufficient for this day,
healing processors for this
and each experienced co-operating
co-arising moment.
Universally commodified competition:
“One size fits all, no exceptions.”
And,
Our cooperative health intent and size
flexes to fit our potential therapeutic scale
of authoritative just operations
today,
universally right now.
Competition for power/authority:
“Our aggressive legalistic
and capital-commodified system
is too big to fail,
or even change directions.”
And,
Our eco/theo-logical systems
are just ripe enough opportunity
for WinWin co-operative
healthy
co-passionate
empowering networks
evolving polypathic paradigms
to never stop regeneratively changing,
evolving,
pre-volving,
un-volving,
revolving co-passion,
co-arising gravitation.
Competition for health, resilience, resonance:
“Neglect of health care can’t be fixed.”
And,
Health care can become unfixed and holistic
but best when co-operatively engaged,
discovered through receiving optimal authoritative co-investment
in responsible
proper
proportional
authentic
transparent
vulnerable
therapeutic
polypathic
polyphonic
polynomial optimally wealthy climate care,
Internal and external,
yin flow with yang strength,
matriarchal with patriarchal,
compassionately resonant discernment
with co-operative resilient discipline.
Wealthy unitarian ways
toward healthy universal means.
There is an important difference
between being accessible
and becoming more engaging,
engaged,
engage-able.
To access support and resources
for health care giving

is not nutritionally sufficient to resiliently

is not peace enough to fully engage

access to eternal love,

Is not resiliently sufficient
to resonantly engage bilaterally resilient co-investments,

Just as access to a lover
is not necessarily sufficient
to fully engage those thoughts and feelings yet unknown,
undisclosed
for lack of trust
we will be GoldenRule treated
by healthy wealth of compassioning WinWin care,
Aware
of interdependent relational space,
accessible to sight,
but also inter-related time,
engaged through deep listening
networks of interdependent historical and cultural causes
