Do we have such powers? I wonder.

Some of the more popular gift requests
you already have covered,
in large part by being born into wealthy royalty,
but also endowed with those tall,
dark,
and handsome genes,
and your unusually resonant internal strengths
that will sustain your exterior beauty.

Top requests
include unilateral power over others,
to get one’s most effective
and efficient controlling way.

Then there is also unitarian power with others,
to invite our most authentic
inclusively cooperative compassionate way,
more popular with unstraight
unwhite
unmale polyamorous transgendered
human sapients.

Then there are requests for fame,
although these seldom, if ever,
seem to arrive as requests for love of fame,
suggesting some confusion between virtuous values
and vicious disvalues

Committing minds with bodies to fame’s opportunities
comes with traumatizing risks of vicious infamy,
emotionally malnourished neglect
and, too often, mind and/or body abuse
of empowered condemning authorities,
habitually threatening to withhold investments
in more positively valued
deep listening
democratically dialectical
powering-with affections.

Choosing wealth of unilateral fame
for a well-knowledged mind,
well-skilled
and bountifully beautied body,
will attract both passionately pleased admirers
and enviously displeased dissenters.

The stronger this public fame
the more concomitant private concerns develop
about personal future infamy,
loss of autocratic altitude,
and, with this chronic anxiety,
a growing sense of merely going through productive motions
without sustaining consumption of passionately engaging emotions,
more associated with greater love of wisdom’s resiliently healthy bodies
with resonantly democratic wealthy minds.

In the older age end, then,
it seems we have no other rational outcome choice
but love of regenerative power-with positive reputation
defending against my lust for power-over negative disputation

Wisdom balancing LeftBrain’s deductive powers
engaging virtuous ecological systems
are also Elder RightBrain’s inductive powers
with analogically co-arising
ecopolitical sapient wisdom.

Do we have such powers?
I remain in sacred wonder,
to engage wisely virtuous organic choices
more democratically empowering together,
rather than more infamously disheveled apart.

Three Faces of Wisdom

I am revisiting value invested minds
and potentially wise political bodies
with Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.

He speaks of three interdependent aspects of wisdom.

The first is rooted in synergetic comprehension
of how and why knowledge, deductive information, facts, beliefs
may be both regeneratively positive
and degeneratively negative.
Wisdom begins with subjective information
and ends in polypathically inclusive comprehension.

As personal knowledge evolves,
it does so following economically regenerative trust
and yet also politically degenerative mistrust
principles of symbiotic and entropic procedures
rooted in neuro-ecological communication systems

Progressing toward what Bucky Fuller called synergetic comprehension,
and what Edward de Bono called the combination of
LeftBrain vertical
with RightBrain lateral thinking
to become bilaterally inclusive
in a bicamerally comprehensive
wu wei wisdom way.

The second face of wisdom is virtue,
rooted in the Roman nomial for man.
While ecologically interdependent consciousness
thinks positive verbal thoughts,
virtue walks the preverbal walk of cooperative righteousness

Acting with healthy pronoia intent
rather than slogging through unhealthy paranoia consent
to internally felt hypocrisy
threatening to become publicly vicious information,
marginalizing,
where public is synonymous with Other
ecologically interdependent sentient organisms
experiencing integrity as virtuously invoking pronoia
and entropy as viciously evoking paranoia.

This combination of unitarian health-value awareness
maturely integrated with a democratically virtuous
empowering lifestyle,
derives the third face of wisdom,
which Csikszentmihalyi expresses as happiness

Where Taoism’s Laotse extols the virtue
of nurturing contentment,
a democratically expansive spacious
and timeless kindness,
uniquely accessible to healthy humane nature
in full self-governing
compassionate communing
virtuous maturity.

Where comprehensive knowledge
and actively virtuous integrity
do not result in contentment,
the seeker of wisdom suffers unhealthy dispassionate losses
through cognitive-affective dissonance,
neuropsychological trauma,
often chronic depression.

Where comprehension and virtue,
deep learning compassionately healthy values
and cooperative win/win optimizing choices,
do not easily settle for our pluralistic
win v lose
compassion v dispassion discontenting norms

Indigenous wisdom’s nondualism
is sacred EarthMother’s more obvious healthy political
and wealthy economic choice

Polypathically uniting compassion
can be seriously compromised
by LeftBrain dominant
either eat or be eaten
paranoid devolutionary dissonance,
rather than Left/Right bicameral balancing
neuropsychological and eco-political outcomes

collaboratively wise contentment.

The remaining distance between comprehensive thought
and virtuously rewarding actions
results in internal contentiousness,
which chronically presents as depression,
a withdrawal into existential win or lose despair,
absence of hope for ego’s political capacity

and sometimes even viciously terrifying
anti-ecological
anti-healthcare

healthy democratic contentment

No such choices could be truly necessary

On PeaceMaking Leadership

An open letter to new legislators,
new chief executive officers,
new judges,
and all new healthy climate parents
and other health and safety advocates.

When you were in the process of securing this new position in your life
perhaps you were expected to speak fluently
about how your past experiences,
often negative,
had prepared you for this vocation at this time,
to represent the most prosperous and healthiest interests
for all,
especially the grandkids,
within your electoral/appointive constituency, first,
and then, as possible,
for all people everywhere.

You were elected, appointed, selected, or at least blessed.
So presumably you do this well,
this learning from past negative experience
to suggest how we will do better
with active hope for your future
in this empowered choice-making position

Representing your extended intentional familiar’s healthiest wealthiest interests
and also, with further maturation,
extending your budgeting authority for just and peaceful leadership
and political responsibility for kind and loving mentorship
across your entire organic constituency of bio- and ecosystems.

Your fluency between systemic trauma experience
and problem-solving reflection,
trauma-informed discernment,
is presumably why we selected you
to carry often heavy responsibilities for others
with, hopefully, wise freedoms of co-invested authority

Not too much authority
becoming a poor listener and ungrateful student,
and not too little responsibility
lacking integrity of enlightened and empowered
sacred health and organic safety.

By now, if you are a promising candidate or nominee,
you know far too much about why we all seem to be losing healthy climates together
when our wealthiest wise intention is to grow more cooperatively owned
and health-managed
climates and cultures,
manscapes and landscapes,
bodies and minds,
humane corporations and organic incarnations
progressing toward resiliently peaceful
polycultural
polyamorous
pronoia inter-relationships

Rather than more greed business as pathologically normal,
investing in divide and conquer politics,
and budgeting priorities
complacent about inevitable unhealthy
partisan
hate- and anger- and fear-mongering.

The Original Sin of opposing compassion/pleasure
mind/body deep-rooted integrity

Thereby promulgating further dispassionate communication
dissociating sacredly wealthy capitalist minds
from organically healthy corporate bodies.

More healthy (and inter-religiously blessed) democratic choices,
in this transitional time
inviting more economic and political gratitude
for ever-new kind and loving opportunities
while living more compassionately
and pleasantly,
within our richly diverse responsibilities.

    to come through on all those verbal commitments I made

like the power and control political relationships
from which communication systems derive

Whack-A-Mole Monarchy

The Naked Emperor has been really ticked off lately.

Seems like longtime known enemies, those who have foolishly complained that he is butt-ugly devoid of divinely inspired truth and beauty attire, have not yet been forced to atone for their bull-headed integrity. This invokes His Highness’s anger and also fear. If he can’t force them to their knees then others might think they can get away with denying His supreme political and economic wardrobe.

So He forces His legal staff to pursue his oldest and loudest ungrateful lackey to make him pay for his disloyal sins. Naked revenge will quiet any unruly masses; then He will feel, and look, better–the fairest of them all, ever, anywhere, throughout the history of kingdoms.

Indeed, the Naked Emperor Fan Club with which He surrounds himself celebrates His naked power and monolithically enlightened arraignment.

And yet, repressd enemies, like suppressed pain, risks the possibility that vexing nay-sayers may portend more deeply embedded challengers.

While those in the Naked Emperors fawning royal red court are reassured and subdued by His vengefully monolithic beauty, it turns out that a CommonSense Crowd is aware of a consensus that their Naked Emperor is also a naked fool.

To force His self-righteously personal revenge, dressed up in the clothes of monarchical authority, He loses several seasoned and respected staff, who don’t respond well to intimidation and threat and verbal abuse. He thereby empowers more enemies; far more than he will ever have time to lock up and throw away the key.

These thorns become highly polarized voices, soon joined by a vast silently traumatized majority, rapidly expanding a nakedly obvious point of healthy democratic view. The Emperor’s gorgeously powerful coattails are shrinking toward invisibility, as his adoration-seeking nose grows embare-assingly longer.

The Emperor feels increasingly lonely at the top of his impoverished imperial wardrobe, especially at night. Nightmare headlines of MeToo declaring that this Naked Emperor is not only politically naked, but morally corrupt. Worst dressed Emperor in the history of feckless foolish Emperors, anywhere, anytime in the history of democratically dressed public trust.

The more democratic heads he whacks, the more popping up, speaking and acting up, out-voting him and all his conman fools who have refused to impeach his self-reputed divinely inspired raiment; now flashmob gladly disputed as sadly wounded madly messianic ideation.

Dressed in depressing autocratic whack-a-mole dispassion; undressed by impressive democratic love-your-moles compassion.

enlightens economic co-investment
and democratically cooperative health,
further expanding boundaries of co-empathic trust.

Competing despairs of economic and political
financial and social dissociative dissonance,
violent irreligious discommunication,
decays into mutually assured destruction,
unweaving healthy fabrics

Of God’s mind-passion
and Gaia’s body-pleasure
coming from
and powering toward
a global green
resiliently wealthy
polyculturally curious
compassionate care-giving

Within which
it is no anthropocentric secret
