Once upon a Roman Empire building time
a brilliantly pleasing boy was born
of humble Jewish means,
named Jesus.

Born into autocratic occupation,
to avoid military police threats
of mass Jewish male child murder,
Jesus and his mom and dad
became EastBound immigrants,
away from Western kleptocratic ruin.

Jesus was thereby exposed
to more Eastern polytheistic
and pantheistic polycultures
before returning home
to listen and learn literacy
from rabbinical monotheists.

In this time of foreign occupation,
Roman military personnel policed and preyed upon
the prosperous
and innocent
and vulnerable

Creating a divide among Rabbi leaders,
some siding with the Zealot Party
who wanted to overthrow fascist red Roman Rule
and thereby establish an Israel nation-state
reforming Judaism’s land-based theocracy
into more of a Jewish nation-state
plutocracy.

Some rabbis found this too politically nationalistic
and not enough Jewish extended family spiritual,
rooted in Promised Land natural indigenous wisdom
enlightened by One SunGod Creator
shining more Torah manifestly
on His Chosen People

To grow pacifically fruitful,
and not always militantly at war
and threatening war
against Creator’s extended family

Chosen to passionate pleasure prosper
in a divinely manifest more perfect union,
thereby empowering YHWH’s open hospitality Way
of defending peace-fulfilling orthodox Truth
sacred green pasturing
a promised sacred Garden Paradise
of organically healthy EarthLife.

Jesus grew into a young messiah
Prince of SunFather’s enlightening Peace,
although surrounded by his Judaism Tribe
long hoping for a nation-building Zionist,
and not so much an advocate
of non-violent communicating
inter-religiously transformative serenity,
not fundamentally about reforming trauma,
the politically autocratic
and economically demonic face
of weaponized atrocities.

Despite lack of rabbinical support,
Jesus had a God is love for peace
healthy gospel message
inspiring His HolyBody-MindSpirit.

When asked if He supported paying tribute
to war- and fear-mongering Ceasar,
He said to give to Ceasar
what is capitalist coin-producing
military empire-building Ceasar’s,
leaving unsaid the remainder

His religiously mature PeaceTribe
would continue their domestic barter economy
and their Torah-teaching schools
and their walk a second mile
and turn the other cheek
gratitude Beatitudes,
to be known by their love for each other
and not by their fear of
or anger against
unredeemed Other.

At every turn
Jesus lived and taught Love’s way of peace,
consistently giving religious preference
to restorative peace-making
rather than zealous Zionist
Chosen Nation retributive justice
against those who spoke other languages,
against those immigrating from Othered cultures
against those who had sinned
and fallen monopolistically short
of One SunFather’s radically polyamorous
democratic glory

Light empowering even sparrows
and glorious lilies
and prodigiously faith-filled mustard seeds.

Jesus’s consistent retort
to toxic religiosity:
who among us hasn’t failed
Love’s relentlessly religious integrity
of transformational peace?

While Jesus was sad,
tearful about disappointing evangelical
IsraelFirst sceptics,
he promised that his pleasing compassion presence
would become more democratically accessible
upon his panentheistic Holy Spirit/Nature’s return,
sacredly organic
mindfully embodied
blood and bread indigenously wise
inter-religious communion.

And to this day
authentic Christians are discerned
not by their fundamental
scripture-based
“original-intention” orthodoxy
or their evangelical nationalistic patriotism
but by their liberally compassionate
Holy MindSpirit-BodyNature fruits

Including,
yet not limited by anything
anyone
any relationships
other than their demonic irreligious
fear- and anger-
and hate- and war-mongering opposites:

Peace: spiritual-mind/natural-body calm;
not unnatural/unspiritual chaos

Joy: deeply passionate contentment
not widely dispassionate discontent

Faith: spiritual-mind/natural-body confident curiosity;
not dispirited/denatured insecure Holier Than Thou religiosity

Kindness: compassionate care giving;
not dispassionate uncaring unforgiving

Charity: passionately pleasing Christian [peace-making] warm regard;
not dispassionately displeasing evangelical [war-making] disregard

Patience: thoughtfully considering trauma’s historically dissociative feelings;
not thoughtlessly dismissing therapeutic re-associative [re-ligious] faith

Gentleness: graciously considerate religious practices
not disgracefully inconsiderate irreligious malpractices

Modesty: CreationCentered respectful humility;
not anthropocentric disrespectful greed

Goodness: regeneratively moral integrity;
not degeneratively immoral hypocrisy

Longanimity (long-suffering): resilient revitalizing loyalty;
not fragile corrupt disloyalty

Self-control: engaging mind/body healthy opportunities;
not performing spirit-mind v nature-body unhealthy risks

Chastity: purity in associative actions;
not impurity in dissociative reactions.

And so it is
in this Make Christianity Healthy Again story
we might re-ligiously conclude

Zionism is to Judaism
in brilliant Prince of PeaceFull day
as Evangelism is to Christianity
in irreligiously nationalistic
dispassionate display

Dismay threatening to disintegrate
inter-religious peace-making
through merely MAGA evangelistic play.

Just Say Yes Is Not Speaking No

Just say yes
to not yet gone
not yet going against your way
not yet becoming distrusted distanced dissonance.

Those of us more blessed in the Pronoia Psychology department,
and yet perhaps all of us somewhat more win/win therapeutically
not opaquely winner v loser traumatized,
enjoy healthy qualities of life that we all do want,
and an equal quantity of negative appositional qualities
that we would do better
healthier
and more rationally
without.

These are, by definition,
and by comparison with their more positive counterparts,
pathological,
as resonance recovers from dissonance,
eco-pleasure from ego-pain.

As democratic integrity grows
to expose late-great disintegrating autocratic transitions,
as a healthy Earth climate recovers
from comparatively compromised
unhealthy nationalistic
and anthropocentric subclimates.

We all want more beauty
so less ugly.
We want more good health eruption
and less bad wealth corruption.

More trusted religious
pronoia climaxing truth
so less distrusted irreligious
paranoid collapsing untruths.

We all want more sacred outside places and spaces and times
and resilient WholeEarth climate paradigms
so less inside pathologizing of organic heart and body and mind
and resonant polycultural rhymes.

We all want more compelling economic and political relationships
and less rabidly dispelling trauma
distrust
and disempowering xenophobic hatred.

We all want more prosperous democratic power-with
so less unprosperous autocratic power-against;
or do we?

We all need neither too much uneasy spiritual sectarianism
nor too little easy natural organic intersectionalism.

We all want our Self and significant Other
co-empathic optimizing time
delivered neither too late for Self
nor too soon for Other.

We all need more peaceful

Positive Politics

I am aware
we have a growing conservative academic position
that political science
becomes too didactic for scientific neutrality
when political scientists are too pro-liberating democracy
v pro status-quo theocracy,
plutocracy,
autocracy,
kleptocracy, etc.

too delusionally enthusiastic about economic
and sociological
and neurological health meritocracy

too positive about win/win co-empathic trust
as our best and brightest eco-political polypath
toward subjectively advocating for:
polytheistic/monotheistic co-liberating faith
polyculturally positive hope
and resonantly polyphonic love.

It does seem that this conservative political skepticism
bites the liberal education system that has fed them,
put probably uncontaminated food on their deregulation tables,
paid their gated suburban mortgages.

As conservative academic views
Trumpian turn toward military-industrialized advocacy
of second amendments to a better dead
than not-red constitution
for national corporate monoculturing greed
and irreligiously anthropocentric monotheism

I nervously notice that patriarchal conservation
of straight-western-white corporate
monocultural colonizing traditions
have become rather too comfortable
with a disempowering and unenlightened monstrous
win/lose 0-sum evolutionary survival hypothesis
that therapeutic and medicinal sciences best remain neutral
about climates and cultures of healthcare,
compassionate kindness,
and neurosystemic win/win peace,
while growing rabidly dissociative tolerance
for conserving anthro-entitled pathologies

such as divesting of international healthcare
environmental safety
secure and effective home and life prosperity
and vaccinated domestic defense systems.

My idea of scientific neutrality takes a Positive Psychology position
that terrorism and fascism and racism,
like narcissism and anthropocentrism and nihilism
and monoculturing patriarchal anti-feminism
and monopolistic winner takes all capitalism

And other forms of neurosystemic
and ecosystemic trauma,
no longer seem political-choice neutral
about effective and healthy governance
when conservative educators and advocates
are choosing peaceful and non-toxic residential climates
and cooperative family co-investment economies
and federal/state cooperative tax revenue associations.

Exceptions to this win/win co-governance golden rule
might be political and economic scientists
who enjoy teaching
while parenting macho-tyranny within their own troubling
autocratic fear- and anger-mongering homes
plutocratically gated neighborhoods
dysfunctional polarized school boards
and disturbing town non-dialogical non-councils.

Truly objective political health standards
can be explored and discovered through subjective neutrality
and yet conclude that nihilism
is not an effective neurosystemic governance strategy
just as denialism
cannot achieve efficient ecosystemic stewardship capacity.

I look forward to a more cooperatively graced
co-intelligent bicameral meritocracy

nominating and electing
and rewarding and preferentially selecting
effective democratic healthcare scientists

religious and public sector leaders

Having win/win engaged bipartisan kindness

For Straight White Boys Only

Have you seen a Rockwell 1950’s Lemonade Wars?
Two girls, both white of course,
dressed for YoungRepublican success
scowling at each other on a pristine deserted street
of the tree-lined rich suburban variety,
arms folded across their angry
relentless middle-class chests,
shoulders hunched for their LoseLose anger battle.

Each stands before her lemonade stand,
across the street from one other,
each with a de-escalating sign
that originally says 10 cents,
but with a bold line across it,
replaced below with a somewhat smaller 5 cents,
also crossed out,
followed by a 2 cents price war notice,
about which the entire neighborhood apparently would not give 2 cents
to get economically
and politically involved.

Would this be less surprising if we were looking at two white boys?
How about two brown-skinned boys?
Does the humor have more of an edge to it?
Or perhaps it’s no longer funny at all.
Maybe more about just another racist stereotype
about not having two suburban cents between them,
about what is intelligent
multiculturally resilient
behavior.

Do you think it more likely two girls might have formed a cooperative?
Replaced their two tables into one larger street presence,
invitation present,

Faced their two signs both up and down the street
to better alert oncoming traffic seeking therapy,
splitting their take at the end of a lovely day
chattering away
with and between more convivial customers,
rather than aiming themselves across the street against each other.
weapons of mutual traumatic disdain,
heading toward long-term unenlightened
and disempowering contempt.

But, probably less likely for two boys from the 50’s and 60’s.
Today, I’m not so sure.
Perhaps boys and girls, and all between,
are learning a healthier,
more fertile
way of doing the cooperative math,
finding profit through ecopolitical interrelationships.

We have feminist psychology and therapy and medicine
and politics
and theology and history and sociology
and probably anthropology and neurology, for all I know.
Research and theorem proofing and disproofing
more likely to unfold through networking circles
of mutual rewarding nurture
rather than competitive marching
in bought-and-sold squares
of irrationally dispirited distinctions
without seminal natural difference.

New Economics is Feminist Peace-Restorative Economics,
about cooperatively nurturing healthy nutritional co-investments
rather than WinLose dyspeptic high risk
beat-down
over-testosteroned
divestment competition games.

So, why is New Economics not called Feminist EcoPolitics?
Maybe it is, but not where I live
and not where I have non-womanist read

but I still hope to see more cooperative non-warring lemonade stands
across suburban and urban and rural divides,
blending gender co-binaries to make lemonade out of,
well,… whatever you have of potential nurturing value

Discarding over-heated presumptions of gotta-have competition,
to pour out democratic power-assumptions of cooperative investment,
where Golden Rules apply transgenderally

Some things
that do grow virally
from outside in

I once spoke at a condominium meeting
about cooperative democratic values
for self-governance

Advocating for transparent
and inclusive choicemaking

And grassroots community maintenance

And social
and skill-sharing events

Sweat-equity
and time/talent exchange
cooperative economies.

The condominium’s attorney,
whom the large majority of members
were about to terminate
along with the autocratic landlord
investor board chair
who hired him
to come to this annual meeting
and explain,
rationally
and legally,
why the residents could not do
what they wanted to do,
which was mainly to get rid
of him
and his organized trauma
straight-white-male Patriarch,

This smug condominium attorney
stood up
when I had finished
to lecture members
and correct me
about we actually do not live
together in a co-invested democracy;
we live in a from-above Republic.

He was slyly speaking
at both the local condo level
and the national corporate
capitalized Republican level

Because, he continued,
unit owners have elected leaders
given exclusive authority to vote on
governance issues
that the uninformed
and unelected laity
lack responsibility
(and possibly
StraightWhiteMale capacity)
to decide.

He misjudged his audience.

This republican authority from above
and from outside
power-over totalitarian business,
rather than power-within democratic empowerment,
was precisely the problem
this meeting had been organized
to resolve,
by democratic recall.

The attorney had his power analysis
backward.

If we are,
in our core
root residential membership
a healthy
and actively cooperative
win/win intentional
health-is-social-wealth
democracy FIRST
FOREMOST
FOUNDATIONALLY

The grassroots of our self-governance
are more likely to elect empowering
and enlightened republican leaders
with a resonant
and resilient
empowering within view
valuing transparency
and multicultural inclusion

For sustainable local
and global choice-making
from the integral
happy
synergetic
robust top

The celebrated envy
of all our benign
and collaboratively empowering
neighbors

Noticing with multicultural wonder
and polycultural awe
that nothing grows naturally
or resiliently,
and certainly not perfectly
or sacredly
or democratically,
from the top down
or from the outside in.
