De-composting Love

Can you truly love a rock,
you’ve never directly seen or touched,
or some other relatively inanimate object,
like ego-centrism,
or a steel wall?

If so, then how is your love
different from a more unilateral “appreciate you”?

If not, then what is different between your “love”
and your “co-passions”,
compassion,
passion with and toward,
but not “passionate energy received from,” necessarily,
or, Yes! Necessarily!?

How do you know your love is also co-passion,
reiterated and returned,
however un-equivalently expressed it may be?
Is this not a matter of positive teleological faith,
of enthymematic hope,
in that boundary time between stimulus and response,
before and after,
subject and objective,
identity and relationship,
in an environ-mental health that is,
by default,
setting aside mutual immunity barriers,
to more courageously and opportunistically co-habitate,
co-incident,
co-passion love,
rather than fear, anger, anxiety,
all dissonance settings of negative default,
oppressive to self,
suppressive of others’ natural positivity,
default tipping point barometer,
that the value of one positive opportunity
edges out double-binding disvalues of two passively negative non-risk takers,
hoarding against a future

Ego’s Monstrous Petition

Eco had offered an operational contract
of love and synergy,
awaiting ego’s response each day,
each moment,
eager to optimize these CQI operations of karmic grace.

Over a wilting lifetime
ego implied his petitioning response:

I grow increasingly excited,
stimulated,
by this co-petitioning challenge
to frame our dissonance,
our operational riddles and puzzles,
games and logistics and strategies,
and statistical decomposition
of the odds for sustaining life,
as the perfection of hatred and fear
of death’s dissonant decay.

I petition Earth’s right to positive resolution and resonance,
as implied co-solutions and consonance
of ego with eco
to play, create, and vocation nicely together,
and this co-petition fully exercises my right of conscience,
to re-search competition for absolute freedom of independence.

This co-petition asserts our human natural guild’s lively preference
for contention over contentment,
for longing rather than belonging
for uni-lateral freedom rather than ecollateral interdependence.

Eco absorbed this richly contentious compost,
this dissembling over co-operative rights of assembly
and competition challenging cooperation’s eco-creation
as inclusively diverse recreation,
divisive of ego’s omnipotent present place in space
from eco’s multisystemic functions within time’s good seasons.

Time unfolded an eco-systemic co-tractive gift,
born of Her binomial grace,
an eco-response to mutually co-tribute with ego
gratitude for bi-cameral mutuality
and full freedom of co-scientific consciousness,
to bilaterally participate in time’s eternal moment
of ego- with eco-centric life.

Love,

Kindness, and unkindness,

Justice trickles up and out,

but not overly generous,

inclusive coredeemer ecojustice.
An enculturation laundry,
but go easy on the yin-bleach.

If I lacked something of the “underdog,”
the “understory,”
the “criminal” and “crazy”
within my holonic human nature,
then my nature would be neither holonic nor human.
Yang’s “bad boy” universalist megalomania
and sociopathological ego-power
is a challenging competitive dimension
within our ego-centric,
anthropomorphic view
of evolution’s meaning;
while Yin’s ubiquitous “Other”-love as “Self,”
generosity to the extreme of unitarian self-exiting wishfulness,
is our more primal RNA holonic-cellular intelligence
of generosity’s ecological win-win scenario,
devoid of ego’s self-distinguishing,

Kindness and unkindness are transactions between unequals.
Generosity and stinginess of empathy,
what eco-consciousness invites
as appropriately proportional response,
are transactions between mutual mentors
of gratitude, and lack thereof.

Differences between ego’s intended kindness
and eco’s well-practiced generosity
include a Taoist position that kindness and unkindness
are not found in nature,
although love,
as synergetic mutual gravity,
is the source of natural systems,
of bilateral life and time,
as opposed to the existence of…

nothing; entropic unconsciousness.

Kindness suggests I am extending something to another
that this person has not earned,
does not rightfully and justly deserve
within the normal flow of time’s river.

Generosity is a mutually intended practice
of radical equanimity and empathy,
a grateful acceptance of our profound interdependence
of cause and effect,
stimulus and response.
Generosity is about absorbing and hopefully co-redeeming
our mutual assets and liabilities
to resolve an issue
whose outcome can be a mutual win
from a position of profoundly radical
coincidental/correlational
mutually mentored co-identity.

Banish listening, and teachings end.

contention with dissonance is like one without a home.

History’s prevailing culture has enough and to spare,
But I am like one left out,
behind marginal invisible boundary,
my heart and mind must be that of comedy,

Left-brain dominator cultures are knowing, luminous,
strength self-fulfilling and prophesying futures;

Note: This is a paraphrase of an ancient Eastern shamanic psalm as written by Laotse, translated by Lin Yutang (Modern Library, 1948, pp. 128-9). While the “I” identity refers traditionally to the “Sage,” and functions within this piece as an effort to describe the shaman’s ambivalent role and responsibility, perhaps even authority, within the Beloved Community, my own word choices are at least partially the result of my own marginalized “outsider” and “observer” experience. At the same time, I am not claiming to have any more or less wisdom than those I actively listen to; which takes us back to the premise in the very first sentence of this piece..

P=NP is in partial response to a Clay Math challenge to resolve the issue as to whether rational and predictable Polynomial information trends either are, or are not, equivalent with Not-Polynomial irrational, chaotic irresolution of problems not resonantly resolved through any language algorithm, bionic pattern of rhythms, iconic symbols of linguistic reason and thought. I believe the answer is evolving toward P is equivalent to NP for the same reason of linguistic logic that a double negative contains equivalent information to its appositional positive icon/polarity/nomial. If so, the negative correlational equivalance may also be the subject and object of David Bohm’s Explicate v. Implicate Order, Fuller’s Convex-Positive v. Concave-Negative geometric place/space, and Taoism’s Yang OVER Yin as essential universal binomiality.

functioning and forming, creating and cultivating, regenerate language,
an expression of intuited deduction,
refinement toward exegetically known and felt soul-truth
through eisegetical analogy
ecology
economy of linguistic order, transactions, relationships,
principles of languaged left-brained human nature
dancing prancing functional flow and forms
through right-brained proportional memory encryption
regeneratively intuited octave polycultured memory,
dream-dancing DNA, team-mentoring within each of life’s cells.

What evolves and seeds
plants and pulls
harvests and winnows language,
forms and functions flowing fine flowering frequencies of thought,

which may not be saying much for poets.

Transliterating Laotse on “Rulers”:
Of the best public administrators
The people only have faith,
prehend, that they exist,
or did way back in the day;
The next best they love and praise:
the comprehensively wise polypaths
with CQI regenerative well-being outcomes.
The abusive and tyrannical next they fear;
powerful fools.
And the neglectful next they revile and ridicule;
weak and humorless fools.

When poets do not command the people’s faith,
Some will lose faith in them,
And then they resort to oaths!
But, of the best,
those wisely compassionate cooperative poetic-rulers,
when their outcomes are optimally accomplished,
their full-octaved permacultural design word work done,
The folks all remark,
“We have written and told and danced,
lived and breathed,
colored and cultured it ourselves.”

It is no more or less feasible
to have a mutually subsidiary
and cooperative design and development
sociopathic CEO,
than it is to find a wise and holy
competitive hoarder of wealth and power.

Everything that is created
