Seminal Enlightenment

When I was in an interfaith seminary
I noticed three models
for understanding a faith community’s purpose
in a democratic and diverse society.

  1. Conservation of SelfRighteous Anger

To compete with,
and thereby degenerate the powers of,
sin and evil and ignorance
in a monoculturally untrustable
hedonistic
degenerating society
destined for just rewards
of hellfire and damnation
because untrustworthy
and untruthfully obscuring privileged
eco-political capitalist patriarchalism.

  1. Liberating from EgoCentered Fear

To rescue us individual sinners,
benighted Earth defilers,
from our capitalist-patriarchal
competitive
oppressive
suppressive anti-feminist
homophobic
racist
ageist anthropocentrism;

To redeem our hopelessly negative
deviant bad health choices,
monoculturing,
left-brain dominantly encultured
verbal miscommunications,
disunions,
despairing experience of eternal apartheid,
loneliness,
unease and disease.

  1. Empowering win-ego/win-eco CoMessiahs
    To cooperatively enlighten each Other
    to grow in compassion
    and non-violent integrity of communication,
    internal communion experience
    and external harmonic community
    for active eco-political hope,
    cooperatively empowering faith,
    deep learning multicultural love.

When I went to Public Administration graduate school,
I, thereby,
noticed three models
for understanding a democratic constitution’s purpose
in a healthy society.

    Open ZeroZone
    Win/Win EgoEco-Systemic

A Healthier Patriotism

My own patriotic U.S. extended family,
historically,
and currently
remains StraightWhiteMale privileged
in our collective memories,
if not imaginations,
of spiritual communion
with all the more privileged saints
present,
past,
and future

But, we have also suffered
from rather too much faith in capitalism,
which, like democracy,
is frequently faulted as miserable,
but also lauded as better
than all the socialistic
communistic
devilistic
totalitarian
fascist
foreign
threatening
terrifying
anger-inducing alternatives.

Capitalism of our encultured
multigenerational minds
with left-hemisphere dominant brains
favoring natural secularized competitions
between saints and sinners
of diversely threatening monocultural privilege,
persuasions fundamentally supremacist
for democracy in theory
so long as not in perceived conflict
with self-serving capitalism in daily personal practice,
natural and spiritual,
secular and sacred,
ecological and theological.

We are egocentric
sometimes narcissistic
always bootstrap individualistic
evangelical redemption ecopoliticals
but focused on BadNews
of our need to invest in violent self-defense
against Marxist communism out there
in Hell

Not to be confused with commitment to GoodNews
of sacred divine communion
within our privileged StraightWhiteMale places
of apartheid worship
in awe and wonder
dogmatically committed to our StraightWhiteMale God

Made military-industrialized
in our best capitalistic,
not really quite so democratic paternalistic
image of left-hemisphere
StraightWhiteMale rightfully empowered
historical/cultural dominance.

So, there we have it,
this chaotic bilateral dissonance
between our powers of political democratic enlightenment
through whole open-systemic dialogue,
and our confusion about economic uncooperative self-empowerment
at the necessary (either/or thinking) cost of Other disempowerment,
gone sadly win/lose awry
through endless polarizing debate assumptions

That if someone wins,
then all others playing our eco-political game
must lose,
which sounds very much like
survival of the fittest
rightest
left-brain dominant species
OVER AGAINST
Earth’s whole open system
green/blue
ecological/theological success.

Like our dominant left-hemisphere academic theory
of secularized win/lose evolution
is more anthropocentrically capital-headed
and self-righteously defensively effective
than Earth’s sacred WINblue/WINgreen
ego/eco-politics
of polypathic political dialogue
empowering through GoldenRule democratic resilience,

And right hemisphere
polyphonic economic enlightenment
co-invested through Golden Octave Ratios
in interdependent multicultural dialogue,

Holonic nonzero sum,
polynomially left GroupTheory
and polyvagally bicameral right/left Win/Win GameExperience

My extended global
multicultural family
history and future
with more resonant
healthier cooperative democracy
embedded in Earth’s ecosystemic wealth,

Co-invested across multi-generations
of MotherEarth’s wise-dialogue
win/win eco-political
eco-feminist regenerators

Not of colonizing political
and anthropocentric economic privilege
but of democratically co-invested integrity
in sacred green/blue communion.

Bodhichitta:

Is a supremely multicultural
golden elixir
overcoming sovereignty of death,
fear of mortality,
anger against loss
and suffering
and dispassionate inhumanity.

Is an inexhaustible
infinite
poly-rational treasure
eliminating,
absorbing,
healing poverty
in
and on
and over Earth’s orbiting
revolving
spiraling seasonal path.

Is supreme medicine
that quells
dispels Earth’s disease,
monoculturing unease,
swells polyculturing ease,
communion,
multiculturally intelligent communication.

Is a tree sheltering all living creatures
wandering
wondering
tired
retired
retreading this cooperatively-held path
of conditioned
reconditioned,
autonomously
interdependent,
mortal existence
immortal consciousness.

Is a universal bridge,
nutritional language,
healthy wealth
leading to liberal liberating liberty
from unhappy,
stingy,
conserving,
hoarding states of defensive birth
and child uncare.

Is a dawning moon of mindbodies
dispelling
respelling tumorous torment
of disturbing conceptions,
perturbing new moon misconceptions,
burbling cognitive dissociative dissonance,
gurgling bicameral full moon resonance.

Is a great sun
ultimately removing misty ignorance
of MotherEarth icons,
EarthMother original sources
resourcing our ecofeminist healthy home
in joy.

Chilly baptismal waters
of equanimity
do not typically suggest a warm bath

Is it possible,
reasonable,
healthy,
therapeutic
to carry gifts of resonant love

How would this,
could this,
“should” this,
might this be different,
better
than fueling codependent anxiety
without realistically anticipated reform,
curiosity with transcending cooperative courage,

back in,
external faithfulness without active internal hope?

Is it possible,
and even responsible,
more or less therapeutic,
to deeply burn with anger against Trumpism,
the blind excesses of narcissistic fascism
somewhat democratically turned over to empower a fool
by a near majority of lose-ego/lose-eco ignorant voters,
inexperienced with sufficient cooperative bicameral ecopolitics
to discern enlightening differences
between democratic love
and autocratic fear
of losing face,
noble retributive reputation,
emotionally satisfying financial success
far beyond simple ecosystemic life sufficiency?

Who might we become
if compassionate patriotism
were so democratically inclusive
our object of win/win regenerate love
could settle for no less object
than sacred green/blue
yellow/red
purple/orange,
and black/white at night
polypathic
polyphonic
polynomial equals not not polynomial
democratic
sacred-secular equanimity
of rightmind equals left-embodied EarthJustice,

To be faithful
to nothing less than full EarthTribe compassion
within empowering
as without democratically enlightening.

For me,
if I can expand my sense of loyalty,
commitment,
appreciation,
love for Donald Trump,
at least as much as I fear
all the leftbrain reasons to to be angry with him,
angry about what he deliberately fosters,
angry about what has led him away from democratic We,
to the very threshold of self-righteous
inhumane fascism,
climate terrorism,
that he iconically represents,

Then I can expand into a larger picture
mirroring the loving kindness
deep learning Source
and ReSource
for all that brings us to this moment
in globally polarized Time
to find our unwinding way back
back
back

To all-embracing love
for Original enlightening
empowering
democratic
multiculturing
co-passioning SummativeSource

Of BlackHole degenerative
yet integral lives matter
splatter spacetime dances
flirting with joyful rhythms
in becoming undivided
once and twice
and thrice again

Within 4D spiraling revolutionary frames
of sacred grace,
compassion,
beauty,

Attachments and Aversions

I wonder if
what Buddhist classic meditation teachings
refer to as “attachments”
and “aversions,”
a Western medical doctor
might label with different words,
such as addiction
and dissociative diversions.

In both frames
negative illusions may be recognized
and appreciated
as deep opportunities to learn;

Negative delusions are not accurately cognized
and are depreciated
as too risky
not to repress
and hide
from any therapeutic
transporting
transparent (not self-shaming)
and vulnerable (not self-blaming)
communication
with our contemplative EgoTherapist within
and our medical-model EcoTherapists without.

Positive illusions,
attachments and/or addictions,
may be accurately cognized
as sensory attractions,

Whether smells and/or tastes,
touch and/or feelings,
sight and/or sound,
eco-reception and/or mind/body communication,
exterior and/or interior,

May have potential
to therapeutically transport
away from addiction
and toward less ego-obsessive attraction,
and away from self-serving,
potentially predative, attractions
to positive sensory pleasure,
cooperatively intended
hoped
faithed
loved,
eco-politically
and personally
and bilaterally
and bicamerally healthy wealth
of becoming completely satisfied
sufficient
simple
centered in HereLeftYangSpace/NowRightYinternalTime
and in past sensory satisfying memories
and in future images
imagination of pleasures
climatically encompassing
all of the above.

Addiction to cooperative multicultural
multigenerational
regenerational
and bicameral
bilateral peak sensory experiences
could be a healthier opportunity
than addictions to competitive ego-monoculturing
and mono-atheistic
and autonomous predator/prey
sensory risk ambivalence

Where things don’t necessarily smell
or taste inviting,
don’t necessarily feel grateful to touch
or feel inside my mindbody,
don’t necessarily transcendently transport
when compromised win/lose beauty seen
and ambiguously uninviting truth heard,
falling short of healthy co-addiction
to Earth’s vast multicolored wealth
of sensory ultra-nonviolent
compassionate
EarthTribe Yintegrity.

To not think it sufficient

without also optimally feeling
how healthy energy democracy

Whether the Principle is applicable

Whether it is the primary purpose
