to do more harm

When I feel compassion
as the guy who loves listening
to friends and family
excited about our multigenerational attachments
to multicolored
and fabulously gay designed

When I feel anxious

to resist this emotional panic premonition,

shamed and blamed
punished and neglected

To wonder how this bad news

is OK to tolerate,

engage with active curiosity
