Our humane-empowering species,

to imagine that our own religious tradition
is not only free of historical-cultural adaptation
but also the one supremely right-wing Way
orthodox Truth
healthy Life.

And, further, guilty of inhumane hubris,
of condemning those outside our dogmatic Fold,
our LeftBrain dominant individualistic EgoFrame,
to lack of redemptive grace,
to after-life Hell,
to lack of true communion
within today’s Earth
holonic
regenerative Spirit
of inclusive win/win recommunication,
empowerment
and enlightenment,
sacred awe
and secular wonder.

Due to this patriarchally influenced
left-brain privileged assumption,
HumanNature lives disconnected
in a win/lose racing economy,
determined by our orthodox religious
and other monoculturally privileged associations
and dues,
catechisms
and formative scriptural over-simplifications
and decontextualized
unhistoricized
dis-enculted
starkly isolated from human experience
studies,

When the practices
and beliefs
of those raised inside the Fold
become obviously heterodox,
our too often StraightWhiteMale authority voices
move toward excommunication,
shunning future cooperative
mutually creolizing empowerment,
remaining true-blue
dogmatically zealous
about our hidden
left-brain dominant
Earth-colonizing
anthropocentric mission,
messianism,
millennialism

And this left-brain overpowered indulgence
has repeated this disconnection,
this unredemptive severance,
this patriarchal apartheid preference
since prehistoric nature/spirit indigenous tribes,
long before Abrahamic written stories of Judaism,
Christian redevelopment,
and Islamic reform came into Earth’s empowering
and enlightening
constantly changing
evolving
revolving
spiraling regenerative connecting
communing
communicating traditions
nutritions
communions shared by all God’s living creatures.

One way of reading the economic
and political turns in the Gospels
is to see the story
of Pharisees
Saducees
and TaxCollectors
as Jewish authorities
who wanted to excommunicate EarthCreator’s Messiah
for stepping outside dogmatic institutional lines
of orthodoxy
and institutional
corporate
empire investment.

Rather than adapting,
co-acclimating to Jesus’s spiritual experience
of a Creator Abba
of regenerative
nurturing
co-passionate Love,
These WealthyElite saw their own unchanging Torah,
established commandments
educational and administrative regulations
dogmatic structures
and long histories of authoritative rabbinical interpretations
of Jewish Law,
as a final
closed religious system,
too privileged,
too Chosen,
supremely endowed with Yahweh’s divine teachings,
to be inconveniently challenged
by anyone with a deviant spiritual experience.

Academic awareness of positive integral deviance
is a modern empowering

What might we learn from this disconnecting

Perhaps less arrogant
and internally preoccupied authorities
might appreciate our more multiculturally healthy milieu

When I was in an interfaith seminary
I noticed three models
for understanding a faith community’s purpose
in a democratic and diverse society.

To compete with,
and thereby degenerate the powers of,
sin and evil and ignorance
in a monoculturally untrustable
hedonistic
degenerating society
destined for just rewards
of hellfire and damnation
because untrustworthy
and untruthfully obscuring privileged
eco-political capitalist patriarchalism.

  1. Liberating from EgoCentered Fear

To rescue us individual sinners,
benighted Earth defilers,
from our capitalist-patriarchal
competitive
oppressive
suppressive anti-feminist
homophobic
racist
ageist anthropocentrism;

To redeem our hopelessly negative
deviant bad health choices,
monoculturing,
left-brain dominantly encultured
verbal miscommunications,
disunions,
despairing experience of eternal apartheid,
loneliness,
unease and disease.

  1. Empowering win-ego/win-eco CoMessiahs
    To cooperatively enlighten each Other
    to grow in compassion
    and non-violent integrity of communication,
    internal communion experience
    and external harmonic community
    for active eco-political hope,

I was a Taoist
philosophically and spiritually
metaphysically and physically
long before my Public Administration classes.

Which may be poignantly of interest
because the original Taoist teacher,
LaoTse,
taught sensory experiences
of Yang-testosterone energy
and Yin-estrogen synergy
for a bicameral governing audience
with questions about how to empower egocenters red/yellow
and ecosystems blue/green
equitably,
as democratically healthy as possible,
while avoiding libertine chaos.

One of the most useful,
and curious, DeepLearnings
that emerged in these Public Health Governance classes
with Public Wealth Management professors
is the yang/yin interplay
between capitalist economics,
with a profound Western monopoly on defining “value,”
AND democratic politics
of self and Other,
Me and We,
empowerment objectives.

When RightWing economic conservatives
look at the Constitution,
They see YangPatriarchal scripture
demanding sacred fealty,
defining orthodox hierarchical structures
to achieve “stay in the nationalistic competitive Black”
and bottom-line financial balance
between outgoing investments
and incoming returns
in experienced social
cultural
historically accumulating
nationalistic GNP value,
and don’t worry so much
about Earth’s capacity to repair
gross nationalistic consumption;

As if democratic virtue
is a free market bankable investment
for the personal governing pleasure
of those most successful
at capitalism’s win/lose game
of empowering/disempowering patriarchal
monotheistic straight-white values.

On the other hand,
LeftWing political liberals
step into embodied
full-sensory mindbody circles
to listen for Yin-ecofeminist
historical/cultural wisdom

Refining multicultural revolving spirals
of democratic power to cooperatively achieve
“you don’t always have to color within dogmatic lines”
in basic black
or business grey
or maybe brown
or navy blue conservatism,
and also notice top-line integral balance
between outgoing economic empowerment
and incoming democratic returns
in co-empathic
globally multiculturing
historically inter-weaving
EarthTribe deep cooperative listening skills

As if democratic health

Who might we become

as contributing to healthy

Restorative Justice
was never intended to be effective
where either victims
or predators
are unwilling,
often incapable,
of re-engaging in cooperative
interdependent
