Fundamental Correctness

Healthy robust meditation,
taught
in diverse schools of thought,
theological
through ecological,
biological,
psychological
sociological
and neurological,
begins with correct posture.

But, “correct” does not mean
only one orthodox way.

Correct
is more about medians
than evangelical means,
favoring balance,
centering practice.

Correct
accommodates diversity,
cultural differences
and universal similarities
of humane bicameral consciousness.

Correct posture,
like correct theology
and correct understanding
of ecological relationship,
is about polyphonic correlation
and not monoculturing stagnation.

Yet, correct posture,
correct health care,
correct political and economic relationships,
are not merely subjective,
not merely “relative”

Any more or less than correct theories of relativity
are merely subjective,
chaotic,
degenerative,
entropic.

Rather, correct postures,
frames,
forms of discernment,
notice,
healthy curiosity,
good humor,
structure,
transparent networks,
resilient systems,
are correct
as they are in left/right
west/east
north/south
ego/eco balancing relationship,
noticing tipping points

Toward Yang’s natural revolutions
in mountainous significant space
and Yin’s spiritual evolutions
co-arising spiraling valleys of time

Where polypathic relationship
correctly resonates
polyphonic resilience.

Allies Toward Nirvana

Our Buddhist alllies,
co-immigrants
moving away from samsara,
like Abrahamic Westerners,
NorthWesterners
and MidWesterners
and East-West Earners,
emigrate toward nirvana–
secular illusion
evolving toward sacred enlightenment,
natural delusion
revolving into spiritual prelusion,

Yet we have this climatic problem
of pathology,
win/lose evil corrupting
ZeroSum energy systems,
power networks,
regenerative empowerment.

Genesis narratives
speak of empowering Eden,
then the Great Unraveling,
Win/Lose decay into samsara,
left-brain dissonant dominance,
Either EgoMe or eco-you,
RightBrain nirvana win/win recession
awaiting remission

Of a wise ecofeminist serpent
where lusty predation
revolted against God our PeaceCreator.

Like Unitarian–RightYin hemisphere–
Universalists–LeftYang-hemisphere–,
Taoists speak not of God as Creator
but of Tao as Regenerative Process
of Earth’s intelligent fractal seasons
reincarnated in DNA’s fractal functions,
double-negative paradox

Stretching Health Care

My oldest friend,
and older, too,
has a daily yoga practice
of self-care,
which I would healthier emulate.

But, when I mentioned this
as rich in comparison
with my own brief leg stretches
while tube-feeding my son,
and occasional too brief dancing
and jumping
with my cerebral palsied daughter,

He responds
to my neglect of self care
with self-deprecating acclaim
for my daily investment
in young adult bodies
inhabiting wounded child concerns.

I recognize this response
in literature of sacred messiahs
and family health care martyrs
and extended family matriarchs
and secular ecofeminist mentors
of selflessness,
ego annihilation,
empty nesters,
nonself-investors.

While all such roleplays,
diurnal through eternal,
are counter-cultural,
with redemptive value
and stretching of compassion,

I question their/our capacity for resilience
as even the most cooperative
win/win co-invested economist
would question total eco-investment
through absolute ego-divestment,
outgoing care for health
while bleeding out all internal wealth
of energy
power
light.

Yoga stretches internal minds
to resonantly balance
external bodies
fully re-creating
co-acclimating
resonant resilience.

This stretching,
toning
touching
feeling
balancing
centering
communicating
cooperative empowering
compassionate enlightening
I could do with my son
and my daughter
daily,
and perhaps timelessly,
with sufficient commitment
and imagination,
creativity
and regenerative health
intent to optimize
our shared systemic wealth

Stretching from where we are
toward when we will become
together in shared passion.

The Big Fascist Elephant

Once upon eternal time,
all philosophers
and theologians
and ecologists,
published and unpublished,
credentialed and indigenous,
elders and children
and all ages in-between,
alive and dead
and all health indicators in-between,
got together
to sort out our competitive win/lose mess
of competing theories
about just what is this elephant
star of our BigTent historic stage.

Some,
especially straight men of color,
but many others as well,
argued the head of this fascist elephant
is racism.

Others,
especially straight white women,
and their feminist allies,
argued the head of this pathological creature
is patriarchalism.

Others,
especially LGBTQ wo/men,
and their straight allies,
were sure this fascist elephant head
is homophobic sexism.

Others,
especially positive psychologists
and communication system theorists,
encouraged more resonant dialogue
about how this fascist elephant
is led by either/or deductive
reductive left-brain cultural dominance.

Others,
especially social psychologists,
whole system thinkers,
eco-political pathologists,
permaculture ZeroZone restorative healers,
advocates for restorative justice as peace,
cooperative economic ecologists,
WholeEarth systemic theologians
advocated multicultural co-mentoring
non-violent communication
to better see and hear
heal and not punish,
feel and think
with full mindbody intelligence
about how this fascist elephant
of Western hemisphere dominant capitalism
win/lose favors egocentric monoculturalism
elitism
narcissism
ethnocentrism
anthropocentrism
through metaphoric polypaths
dreaming
streaming
scheming all of the above.

Temple of Grain

They prayed a Buddhist prayer:

And may we cooperatively dwell
in Earth’s great equanimity
free from attachment
and dispassionate aversion.

As regenerations continued this bodymind practice,
MotherEarth Attachment transposed
disassociated from healthy relationships
with all empowering
and enlightening creatures,
and was replaced by “greed”
and correlated “envy”

Greed rooted in fear
individual egocenters are not enough identity,
bodies carrying minds
with unspoken messages,
they did not have enough;

Envy co-arising anger
as greed invokes fear
about insufficient empowering time
and inadequately enlightening life.

They rediscovered envy co-arising anger
because we are born with win/win attachment promise
but discover our autonomous mortality
through death of lovers and enemies,
and all creatures in-between,
through suffering dreams
of those with timeless robust health
and greed
for immortal wisest wealth.

And this is how these NeoBuddhists
reconnected ancient metaphors
of Taoist non-zero sum roots
regenerative
win/win
ego/eco
left/right bicameral intelligence
Yanged and Yinning

And this is one way
we might both start
and conclude
each mindbody full day
free from greed
and envy
and patriarchal aversions.

Thoughtless Thoroughfares

The main currents of thought
are feelings about relationships,
positive
and negative climates,
sometimes obscured
confused
by double-binding negatives
incuriously set aside
as merely bad news
and systemic evils

Like racism
applied to oneself
as victim of prejudice
is not reverse racism,
not multicultural intelligence,
for egos steeped
shaped
secured by StraightWhiteMale
supremely valued labeling,

Like sexism
applied to oneself as victim
is not reverse sexism,
is not vulnerability,
for patriarchally wounded souls,

Like fascism
applied to victimized losers
and lepers
and thugs
is not reverse fascism,
does not further healthy democracy,
for aristocratically wounded kleptocrats.

The main stereotypes of thought
are feelings:
About positive healthy relationship,
wealthy attachments,
compassion
empowering left and enlightening right,
liberal resonance
conserving inclusive resilience;
And about negative lack thereof.

Ecological relationship

Earth justice
from interdependent EarthTribe peace

and left hemisphere deductive thoughts,
reductive-inductive;

Both ecosystemic Beauty
and ego-recentering Truths;

Multiculturally co-passionate,
non-violently communal,
restoring theological peace
as ecologically balanced justice

Where life becomes peaceful medication
love is freedom’s EarthSoul meditation.

Sharing Is Caring

Yesterday
I heard someone say
To cure police
and military violence,
we need a NonTrumpian change of culture.

Sometimes revolutionary changes
include conserving feminist elements
of ancient healing cultures;

Intent to reward multicultural inclusion
rather than hanging on to patriarchal
and capitalistic monocultural supremacy–
a culture of exclusion,
excommunication,
and extraction from Earth’s communal nature
and spirit.

Sometimes we need to restore justice
and peace to our own soil
and souls
before we are ready to grow
healthy seeds of primal relationship,
healthcare,
compassion,
into wealthy win/win Paradise.

I have also heard it said,
If you show mercy
to a sociopath,
And if you merely shun
an imperialistic narcissist,
you will only fuel future selfish outrage.

But, I have lived with oppositional defiance
neurologically hard-wired
for adolescent megalomania
and know that punishment,
revenge,
violence,
anger,
fear,
and hatred fuel further sociopathology

Not fertile healing warmth
of transparent and vulnerable attachment,
healthy curiosity,
abundant care,
nonviolent communication,
compassion,
gratitude for opportunities
to explore win/win polycultural outcomes
ecologically healthy
and communally wealthy
erupting into global healing
theological experience of grace.

My daughter
with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
listens by the hour
to a kids song,
“Sharing is caring.
Be kind to everyone.”

But, we train our police,
and our soldiers
and teach our political party
and economic investors
the opposite
retributive
competitive
hostile
paternalistic
capitalistic
win/lose
zero-sum
monoculturing shadow
of ecofeminist multicultural truth
and beauty,
nature
and spirit.

The false peace of tolerating mutual win/lose hostility
is a sin of freedom’s omission
to reconnect with EarthBeauty’s greater gracious half.

as time’s seamless spatial integrity.

She felt sublime
within polycultural
spiritual embodiment
of Earth’s revolving
co-passionate
nutritional
nurturing synergy.

He was half speaking
to a Western ecofeminist theologian.

To totally trust Earth invites
no one perfectly correct health path

Suggests we will find no wealth path
totally corrupt.

To commit to our best way
for healthy now
in this quasi-wealthy place
and this RealTime,
with resources accessible
may be irredeemably wrong
only in our potential
for egotistic excesses,
ego-mania
non eco-woman Earthy enough.

Polypathic balance,
polyphonic harmony,
polynomial integrity,
polymorphic bilateral intelligence;
these are the love
and faith
and hope
and wisdom
of revolutionary compassion
for ourselves
as part of EarthOther

Forgiven climate trespassers
as we forgive
our inhumane ecological debts

Empowering further ego-recentering
in curious pathway nonjudgment
by patiently enlightening,
choice enlivening–

Past Yang left-brain autonomous,
Future Yin right-hearted interdependent–

Ego/Eco-systemic experience,
bilateral balancing memory,
healing compassion’s doubled
yet untroubled image.

 

Summary note from deepest and most repressed chakra voice:  Some of us are penises, homo and hetero, some of us are vaginas, cooperative and competitive, but all of us are equal in being assholes, with potential for pollution and for fertilization.
