Arising thoughts about boundary breaching risks
and perennial partisan issues
and deep listening opportunities.

Perhaps only the Othering
and Othered One Percent
instilling in their children
and future grandchildren
that extended family meals
are never an appropriate time
or sacred space
to speak of desecrating politics
or sanctimonious religion
and, above else,
nothing remotely suggestive
of personal sex histories
and fantasies.

And yet,
from a deep power analysis perspective
of richly co-invested feelings,
these three,
together,
form a developmental narrative
of how spiritual empowerment,
RightHemisphere felt,
and natural enlightenment,
LeftHemisphere considered
and reconsidered
and preconsidered
and formerly unconsidered
thoughts

Develop toward co-passion,
gratitude,
resilient capacity for giving
and receiving Thanks

However agnostic
atheistic
monotheistic
polytheistic
and/or panentheistic

Our sensory sexual systems
are indigenous,
forming already
before we are born,
known,
heard
and smelled
and tasted.

Religious
or even anti-religious enculturation
speaks to our sensory-spiritual
mental
metaphysical experiences

Peaks and valleys
on a range from empowering positive feelings
and negative diesmpowering associations
with metaphysical thoughts
and physical feelings,
attitudes,
belief systems
dreams
and nightmares

Sometimes closed,
and therefore entropic,
and degenerating,
claustrophobic
and pathological

And sometimes open
and whole
and regenerating,
trusted
and healthy
and resilient.

Here
where resonant metaphors emerge
more helpful social communication boundaries
change
morph
conciliate
creolize,
embrace win/win sexual
and religious
and political strategies

Unlike win/lose work
remains politely segregated
from win/win play
at tearing down judgmental
stress and trauma boundaries

Like dark and light,
seriously competitive vocations
remain dimly dissociated
from humorously cooperative vacations
from old capitalist school
patriarchal business as bottom-line
competitions for short-term profits

While investing in
more long-term fruitful
political relationships
can also become explicitly sexual
and/or implicitly religious,
spiritual
and natural,
mental
and physical powers
of not only self-righteous internal governance
but also Other governing fair
and equitable
and integral power relationships,
cooperative win/win
and/or competitive win/lose
and/or despondent lose/lose.

After the second glass of wine,
with the kids off at their G-rated table,
and football announcers
creating white
and blue and black and brown
and hot red seething
tight shoulder and hip pad testosterone
distracting noises
and visions
and revisions
in life’s sensory underground
and background

It might be appropriate
to ask about a cherished Other’s
sexually political spiritual energy lives
as if trauma-reducing resilience
through nonviolent communication
deeply
sacredly
integrally matters

When healthy and safe communication
remains politically felt
and religiously thought
and neuro-sensory shared
becomes welcome curiosity
and invited transparency
and cherished vulnerability,
what has never been courageously discussed
may also be what empowers thankfulness
and enlightens this Gratitude Day

For rich sensory meals
and peak experiences,
for robust political laughter and joy,
and spiritual integrity
of resiliently good humor
and health-enlightened
smells and tastes and looks
and wealth-empowering grace

We might yet give thanks
this religious
and political
ThanksGiving Day,
including both neuro-sensory fulfilling peaks
and over-stuffed purgation valleys.
