Within these secular and sacred,

positive communication networks

robust and resonant non-violent relationships
of cooperatively positive compassion.

Imagine that ecological resilience

within and beyond this communication network

Heightened global consciousness
of viral threats to health and safety

Seminal Enlightenment

When I was in an interfaith seminary
I noticed three models
for understanding a faith community’s purpose
in a democratic and diverse society.

  1. Conservation of SelfRighteous Anger

To compete with,
and thereby degenerate the powers of,
sin and evil and ignorance
in a monoculturally untrustable
hedonistic
degenerating society
destined for just rewards
of hellfire and damnation
because untrustworthy
and untruthfully obscuring privileged
eco-political capitalist patriarchalism.

  1. Liberating from EgoCentered Fear

To rescue us individual sinners,
benighted Earth defilers,
from our capitalist-patriarchal
competitive
oppressive
suppressive anti-feminist
homophobic
racist
ageist anthropocentrism;

To redeem our hopelessly negative
deviant bad health choices,
monoculturing,
left-brain dominantly encultured
verbal miscommunications,
disunions,
despairing experience of eternal apartheid,
loneliness,
unease and disease.

  1. Empowering win-ego/win-eco CoMessiahs
    To cooperatively enlighten each Other
    to grow in compassion
    and non-violent integrity of communication,
    internal communion experience
    and external harmonic community
    for active eco-political hope,
    cooperatively empowering faith,

As Eden on restored Earth

and iconic redemption
experienced
by Jesus of Nazareth’s fertile
multicultural Kingdom already at hand
during and after baptism
by immersion
in a sluggish,
yet still flowing,
still nurturing,

of active hope
in faith,
for omnipotent energetic love.

I’m still waiting for his answer
about what he would thereby lose.

Although I suspect it might have something to do with loss
of egocentric confidence
in StraightWhiteMale
LeftBrain-dominant
privileged miseducation
segregation
individualized competitions
for earning salvation

From fear of ego’s mortal eternal suffering,
where fear of lonely timeless Hell
of painful neuropsychological isolation
outdistances communion
for eternal multicultural inclusion,
regenerative social and cultural health potential
already at hand,

Cooperative,
democratic
eco-political
restoring justice to green peace climates
of nonviolence

When I asked him
what he might gain
from Earth EcoFeminist Gaian principles
of synergetic health compassion,
he was equally silent

But, I saw a glimmer
turn to gleam
restoring internal sense of saint and sinner solidarity
with eternal longings to return
to ecosystemic opulence

To eco-politically reweave,
to globally restore,
to resume,
to make Earth’s healthiest nutritional wealth
great nonviolent communication
and ecology
and theology
again.

as breathing in
with competitive win/lose leftbrain dominant
privileged awareness

with cooperative win/win rightbrain prominent

For a multicultural mediator
of diminishing community negative debate energy
AND expanding positive dialogue synergy,

the mediator’s own empathic bias,

Usually for the “underdog,”
the most vulnerable,
most at unhealthy risk,
the smaller minority of marginalized yin roles
over the larger majority of established,
more privileged,
more empowered,
more competitively invested,

However,
this seems to reverse
in the case of an economically
and politically
conservative narcissist.

For example,
Trump activists
are comfortable with bullying
already marginalized populations
because of their apparent past sins
and impoverishing
threatening fearful failures,

Not because the monocultural narcissist knows,
and has experience empathizing with,
these yin-Outsiders
as feeling/thinking compatriots,
potential economic and political allies,
within a healthy multiculturally inclusive democracy,

But because this privileged
individualized
alien-bullying narcissist
is defensively,
conservatively invested in saving ego-face

As one of the great self-empowered
bootstrap enlightened egos
of win/lose capitalism’s patriarchal
competitively hierarchical
StraightWhite
leftbrain privileged historic enculturation,
dogmatic capitalist education,
retributive social humiliation,

Which assumes competitive debates
overpoweringly trump win/win cooperative dialogue
between individualized
polarized sectors,

Too independently perceived and heard,
ego-centered identities

AND too protective and defensive
of orthodox win/lose evolutionary dogmas
rooted in technocratic capitalistic incorporations
of economic power
to even suspect
concomitant politically privileged dark Yang
overdog-manic energy.

Darkly competitive Yang supremacy
seems to become overdog preference
by egocentric individuals
more culturally miseducated
